Jessica and Seth walked into his kitchen with bags full of seafood.

"This is going to be the best clam bake in the history of Cabot Cove," Seth beamed when he put the bags in the sink.

Instead of the usual bake at the beach, Jessica and Seth decided to make the bake at home with a nice bottle of wine and just the two of them.

"I have to admit the lobsters are just perfect. It's a good thing we went to the dock early or we'd miss out," Jessica commented while getting out some of the pots from the cupboards.

Seth grabbed Jessica from what she was doing and turned her around to face him. "It's going to be even nicer sharing this dinner with only you. Do you know how long I've waited to do this…" and he began to taste her lips with some light kisses.

Just then there was a knock at the door. Seth went to answer it and was greeted by the mailman. He handed Seth some envelopes and he walked back to the kitchen while shuffling through them. He stopped when he found a handwritten envelope in the stack. He didn't recognize the name on the envelope and concern began to shroud his face.

"Is something wrong Seth?" Jessica approached with concern. "Not exactly sure."

Seth continued to read the letter, to himself. He seemed to stare out into space, as if recalling a bygone memory. "Seth? Seth?" He blinked and returned to the present.

"This letter. It's written by a man by the name of Glen. Turns out he's the son of a very dear friend of mine, a friend I haven't seen in 50 years." Seth folded up the letter and placed it on the table. "He's apparently looking up some friends of his mother's and visiting them. I'm on the list and he's coming to Cabot Cove in a couple of days." Seth got up from the table and looked out his kitchen window. Once again, Jessica noticed Seth was somewhere else. "You don't seem too excited about the visit. Especially from the son of a good friend of yours."

"Aah! I was just caught by surprise by this letter is all. Brought back a lot of memories I was sure I had put behind me." Seth was not the type to tell his problems to someone, even Jessica. She knew enough not to push him.

"Now then let's get these babies cooking!" Jessica gave him a smile and they spent the rest of the day preparing their glorious meal.
