High above the clouds of the Kingdom of Vale a Warhead was currently transporting the new first-year students towards the prestigious Academy for future Huntsman and Huntresses that is known all around the world of Remnant as Beacon Academy.
This Warhead was filled with a lot of different teenagers all having come to Beacon Academy to become Huntsman, the protectors of humanity against the monsters known as the creatures of Grimm.
Grimm were mysterious creatures that look like they were made of darkness and bone as they could take all sorts of shape and sizes and had all kinds of abilities depending on the type of Grimm.
Many have theorized that Grimm are the spirits of animals that seek revenge but that theory has been thrown out of the window since Grimm can take all sorts of shapes,sizes, inabilities and some of them look strongly humanoid.
No one is really sure where the Grimm come from all they do know is that they hate humans and want to kill every last human they see.
They also seem to be attracted to negative emotion the more negative emotion they feel the more they're drawn like moths to a flame.
They also know for some reason they will not attack animals unless the animals provoke the Grimm first...
That is why the training academy is exist in the first place so promising warriors could be trained to be Huntsman and help out the Kingdoms of Vale, Mistral, Atlas, and Vacuo, the most prominent safe havens for humanity.
There existed villages and settlements outside the kingdoms but most of the time these were destroyed by the Grimm as a lot of times they suffer strife and financial trouble causing negative emotions... which attract the Grimm...
The only place that seems to have any significance and not have been destroyed by the Grimm yet was the island of Menagerie, considered a safe haven for the humanoid species known as the Faunus, humanoids born with an animal like feature that could be on any part of their body.
Currently the first year students on the Warhead were having chats among one another about things like how excited they were to be at Beacon, how hard they work to get to Beacon Academy, and mostly stupid stuff teenagers talked about like what they were going to do tonight, what plans they had for the weekends, if there was going to be any hot girls at the Academy, etc...
Everyone seemed to be in a group except for one young man...
This young man was at the far end of the Warhead and seemed to be deep in thought.
He had messy blonde hair and prominent blue eyes. His outfit consisted of a double-breasted blue jacket with a closed neckline covered by a black open trench coat, long blue baggy pants tucked into brown knee-high boots with steel toes. On his hands we're fingerless Brown gloves with metal studs on the knuckle areas.
He was also wearing a frog belt with the Arc family crest on the belt buckle where two katanas were placed on his right hip.
One was it traditional looking Japanese katana with a circular gold metallic tsuba. The kashira was also a gold metallic color with a black tsuka covered by a white ITO. The saya was a simple white color with the kojiri covered by a similar gold metallic piece like the tsuba and kashira.
The other sword on his hip was completely different.
The second sword had a metallic gold tsuba like the first sword but its shape was completely different as instead of circular the tsuba is trefoil shaped. The tsuka is black solid lacquered with a golden ring around the middle with a golden five petaled flower motif on each side. The kashira and kojiri are matching in appearance, being large with trefoil cutouts to match the tsuba. The saya was black with several seven dot circles on it for decoration.

These swords belong to Jaune Arc...Only Jaune wasn't like the other students.
And it wasn't just because he faked his way into Beacon...
No the reason was because his spirit at least was born in another world.
"I still can't believe this is happening to me..."thought Jaune as he began thinking how this all happened.
'Okay I can't believe I was born into the world of the anime I hardly watched while at the same time I wanted to get into but never found the time. Luckily I watched most of the first episode at least so I know about Grimm and everything from a young age which allowed me to train.' thought Jaune as he began recalling his family situation...
'Now my family in this world didn't want me to train so I trained in secret, having memorized all those kenjitsu sword techniques from those viral videos I watched all the time. Man...now that I think about it I was such a big time geek since I love watching those techniques over and over again and even memorize Sasaki Kojiro's famous technique Tsubame Gaeshi! Now I'm no sword saint in any way but I truly believe I was a samurai in a past life since the katana sword always felt so right in my hand...and that's not even the weird part as just a few weeks ago I pulled these out of literal thin air when I found them in my room!' thought Jaune as he looked at the katanas on his right hip.
'Wado Ichimonji and Enma, my favorite katanas from one of my favorite animes of all time One Piece! I don't know why but these are the real deal as these weren't the one's I ordered online. No these feel like the real deal since I cut a piece of steel like it was butter just with the use of Wado Ichimonji.' thought Jaune as he looked at his swords.
'What am I even doing here in my past life I was a shut-in and a nerd... no scratch that I was a complete otaku! I was completely in love with anime and a lot of Japanese culture including Samurai's and Sumo wrestling. Heck at one point I thought I could be a Yokozuna and even trained to use sumo techniques despite the fact that my body type wasn't fit for Sumo.' thought Jaune as he began looking at his body.
'And speaking of my body for some reason according to the doctors I was born with a little bit extra muscle fibers that are normal human and my bones are even denser like I had the calcium of two humans which I guess in a way makes sense. Oh... why was I reborn into an anime world I hardly know anything about. I don't even know the main character's names I only know this guy's name because I related to with him because he was an underdog like me.' thought Jaune who then slapped himself on the face with both his hands.
'NO! All your past life you never took any risks you always played it too safe! I always felt like I had a warrior's heart and that I was born in the wrong era! Now is it my chance to let my samurai spirit run amok as I protect the innocent and weak like the superhero I always dreamed I would one day be!' thought Jaune before he heard a commotion behind him and he looked around.
Turning back Jaune saw two girls bickering and based on the way they were bickering he theorized they were sisters as they acted extremely friendly with one another more so than what you would expect from best friends.
Although they honestly didn't look anything alike...
Jaune could swear he's seen them somewhere before but couldn't remember...
The first girl was rather short and look like she was too young for Beacon. She had really dark short hair with red strands at the end and for some reason her eyes were silver. Her attire consisted of a black dress with a combat skirt with leggings and boots to match. She also had a red cape draped over her shoulders connected to her upper dress which kept it in place along with a red hood.
The second girl was noticeably taller and had long blonde hair and purple eyes. Her attire consisted of a tight leather jacket that showed off her midriff and... assets.., some kind of skirt with black athletic shorts, leather boots that went up to her knees, and on her arms look like yellow gauntlets.
Jaune assume for the blonde girl that was her weapons which unlike his traditional weapons, hers was classified as weapons known as mecha shifts!
Weapons that could transform and use the power of dust, a special crystal found on this planet which is called Remnant that is allowed humanity to survive the grim thus far.
'I never really saw the use for mecha shifts. Give me a classical weapon any day as a katana has been tried and true through centuries of warfare and these two katanas I know for a fact are powerful. Unlike the Enma from One Piece my Enma does not drain me of Armament Haki and does not cut more than it's needed... although I haven't used it much to really know anything about it... Wado Ichimonji on the other hand behaves just like Zoro's. Man this is going to be so much fun I can't wait to have a fun school life unlike the school life in my previous life where I was basically an outcast shunned by most of my classmates... I didn't really care but hey new life new chance.' thought Jaune as a hologram of a woman who appeared to be a professor appeared.
The hologram of the Professor was blonde with her hair neatly tied in a bun and she had green eyes behind her glasses. Her attire consisted of a skin tight white blouse with a small cape behind it, some kind of vest just beneath her... assets, a tight skirt with matching leggings and boots, and she appeared to be holding a riding crop
"Hello and welcome to Beacon."began the hologram.
"Who's that?"asked the blonde girl.
"My name is Glynda Goodwitch."answered the hologram.
"Ohhh."
"You are among the privileged few who have received the honor of being selected to attend this prestigious Academy. Our world is experiencing an incredible time of peace and as future huntsman and huntresses it is your duty to uphold it. You have demonstrated the courage needed for such a task and now it's our turn to provide you with the knowledge and the training to protect our world."said the hologram of Professor Goodwitch before disappearing.
'Only I had to cheat my way here with fake transcripts I bought from some forger that I was very lucky managed to get accepted. It wasn't because I wasn't skilled or anything like that it was because Mom and Dad wouldn't let me attend combat school as they were all about me upholding the Arc name and all that BS. I am sure I have a warrior Spirit of a Samurai and a Samurai is meant to be on the battlefield! That is why I kept training my swordsmanship and body every single day when I was old enough to walk around. My brother in my past life told me my body type was meant for great physical strength and speed. Jaune's original body never had that but with my spirit and extra muscle fibers I have turned this body into the ideal warrior body. Now all I need to do is show it!' thought Jaune as he noticed that the girl with the red cape look out the window along with several of the other students.
Jaune decided not to do that as he had a terrible fear of heights and even looking down made him feel a woozy.
This was a trait he inherited from his past life...
"Time to show this world what Samurai Arc is all about."said Jaune to himself as he held both of his swords with his right hand.
A smile appeared on his face as the Warhead started to dock.

I am going to be completely honest here... the otaku is ME!
I actually own a replica of Wado Ichimonji and Emna and I specifically requested that they be buried with me in my grave when I finally pass on...
I mean come on!
Who has never wanted to experience an Isekai adventure as they're one of my favorite anime stories and manga stories of all time.
I do in fact believe I was a samurai in a past life since whenever I hold a katana sword it just feels so right in my hands and I naturally wielded around effortlessly even if it is not a real Japanese samurai sword.
I do in fact watch sword videos every day and practice my techniques.
I do not know Sasaki Kojiro signature move I made that up... as no one knows what his signature move really was and the one in movies and anime I have yet to perfect.
Now you can call me a nerd or an otaku and I honestly don't care as I've been called way worse than that.
I love my life as it is now as I have stable income, a warm bed, a roof over my head, a family that loves me, great friends, everything I could ever want, and lastly the support from you my loyal fans and readers.
What else could a guy like me ever ask for.
I truly appreciate you guys and the support you give me as it helps me move on with the story even at times when I want to give up and delete the story because it's too hard or I am suffering writer's block.
