Hello dear readers. Hope you are doing good ^_^
Well, this is a very unplanned story, that popped out of the blue. But yes, I was thinking of writing it since sometime. So here we go finally.
Enjoy….and learn!
My fault Hilary, I shouldn't have spoken about you not being a beyblader. Forgive me please *Sigh*
That's our Hils now, ain't she so smart? *Wink*
What's up Hilly? We were missing you so bad, ya know?
If you ever have any problem, don't hesitate to approach, okay? And a group hug followed.
No matter what Hilly, we are like sisters and we'll always stay by each other's side.
Aww Hils, we all love you so much…..
"Shut the fuck up you liars!" Hilary yelled on top of her lungs, palming both of her ears, as another set of fresh tears streamed out of her petal-eyelids. "You weren't a bit true when you said that!"
Her hands slid back, clutching the door knob tightly, ruby orbs shut once again. Leaning backwards, body crashed against the door. Convulsing still, her frail body began sliding slowly, as she sat on the floor. Bringing her knees closer, she let her head hide beneath folded arms. Low sobs were audible and echoing….thanks to the pin-drop silence she was surrounded with.
What had happened all of a sudden? What made a strong, cheerful and vibrant girl like Hilary Tachibana, suffer like this? What was her fault, at least?
A simple mistake the poor girl made….
She let her friends close. So close, that they easily stabbed her. Right at the heart! Brutally shattering her soul. Her mistake it was, as the world had labelled. She shouldn't have trusted them so blindly. After all, the ones we love, have the closest access to our hearts, don't they?
"J-Julia, Mariah, Mari, Emi…..I- I trusted you so much. Cared for you al-always….Then, then why do this to me?" She questioned rather herself amidst the sobs. Although battered, Hilary could very well recall the day when all her miseries had begun. How it all started at the first place.
Hilary checked her phone for the n'th time in a freaking one hour. "C'mon Julie, reply soon. It's important." She mumbled to herself, getting an eerie feeling deep inside. "Why am I feeling so choked up? God! Pick up the calls at least." She sighed once again, scrolling down the fifteen missed calls aka her attempted calls. Not knowing why the thunder princess wasn't responding. "Just stay safe Julie, and I want nothing."
.
.
.
Three days had passed and still there was no news from Julia. Hilary had asked Mariah and Mariam over a phone call, where they said 'Julia's just busy' and shrugged. Presently, she was walking past the group's favorite café. Smiling, she strode in. Taking a seat at an empty table, she ordered for a refreshing cup of black coffee. Her hands landed on her phone, calling Mariah, the first person she could think of. After a few rings, the said pinkette picked up.
"Um, hey Riah! Hilary here. You free?"
"Uh, kind of. Why Hils?"
"Great! How about coming at the Ginger's? I…"
Before she could finish, Mariah replied, "Sorry Hils, not today. Busy with assignments. Maybe some other day?" Not waiting for any reply, she cut the call.
Furrowing her brows, Hilary was about to get up, when she heard a familiar voice. Turning in the other direction, her eyes widened with shock and astonishment. For, there sat Mariah, with Mariam by her side, busy laughing at some joke. Oblivious to the petrified eyes of the brunette, they continued.
.
.
.
"Hey Emily, you know what's happened to Julia, Mariah and Mariam?" Hilary asked in perplexion.
"Uh-huh."
"Tell me please."
"Hmm. No."
"Wha-? Are you listening?"
"Hn."
"What the…" Sighing tiredly, she cut the call.
"A-ha." Emily nodded from the other side, attention solely on the report she was typing then.
From the last two weeks, it had been the same. All the girls, in one way or the other, had started ignoring her. They won't pick her calls, won't reply to her texts despite being online, and even if talked by chance, the chats would end up sooner than they had begun.
All this was taking a toll on a bright girl like Hilary. Never had she been treated this way. She couldn't comprehend what the root cause was. Asking them directly had been tried already. And she didn't know what to do ahead. Thus, she would be left, sulking, and all alone.
And today is when, the blast had occurred. Hilary had told about her presumably one-sided feelings for Kai to the girls. It resulted in Julia telling Tala, Mariam telling Max, and everyone knowing everything. When Tyson came to know of it, he felt heartbroken and dejected, and refused to talk with anyone for quite some time. By the time the news reached Kai, all the spicy additions had savored the emotions out of it. Thus keeping a shell of pure parody.
It irked Kai. And that led to an outburst between him and Hilly. As a result of which, we now see Hilary sitting against the door of her room. Crying terribly.
Realization dawned upon her, when golden rays of sunshine entered her room, filtering through the satin curtains. She realized she'd been crying herself out all night long.
Wiping her tears, and taking support from the adjacent wall, she got up. Ruby eyes were now bloodshot. But her heart had been emptied completely. Thanks to the never-say-die spirit of hers, she survived this as well. With a clean mind, she could focus on things with a better perspective.
Taking her iphone from the bed, she clutched it tightly once, before dashing towards the window, and throwing it away with all the strength she could muster. "You are the root of it all." She seethed.
"I don't need traitors like you all. Nor am I going to waste my life, searching for the better ones. No, never!" opening the windows completely, she allowed the magical sunrays to heal her inner wounds. "I am self-sufficient. I don't care a hang, whether you are doing good or not. It won't bother me from now, if you call me, reply to my texts, or literally anything. I've decided to break it all, means I will do it too!"
With a new found spirit, Hilary Tachibana was now ready to take on the world, all alone; but with everything she'd got- with herself and her spirit. She had finally attained the insurmountable. She had climbed, the Zenith within!...
And here goes my first late night fic XD Pardon any errors that might have appeared.
Don't bash my precious bey girls, pretty please. Not really their fault that I wrote them this way :P
Unlike 'Speechless', there are no pairings here, and I think that's where the beauty lies. Cause if you ask me, no girl is the typical 'damsel-in-distress' character. Nor does she need someone else, precisely a hero/man to save her at the end. Every girl, and in fact, every person, is capable of handling themselves, on their own. Of course friends and loved ones add charm to anyone's life; but inner peace, self-love, and self-esteem- are what will help us all, to Reach the Zenith withing!
Lectures, have I started to give? :P Anyways, do review folks, I'd like to know your thoughts!
And finally, I regret saying this, but have to….Ellie's bidding bye-bye after this *sighs* No worries, the planned shots will be posted as scheduled, maybe a bit late; but published nonetheless. What I mean is, very less contacts, readings and reviews. I apologize to all my dear friends and readers in advance. Will catch up with ya all as soon as I'm back. Life has to be a priority now. So, see you all on returning *Hearts*
[I'll review from my id only, no guest reviews from my name. So, just stay vigil!]
Thanks for reading. And for all the support I've received till now. Love you all. Take care. Bye!
-Ellie :)
