A/N: This is the first chapter in my 'A Different Flashpoint' story. I hope you find it to your liking. This takes place after The Flash 2x23.

Barry woke with a start as he felt a hand on his shoulder, he looked up and saw Patty standing over him. She was dressed in normal clothes with a white lab coat over them. Barry stared at Patty in surprise.

"C'mon Allen.." Patty encouraged. "..I know you're tired of pulling eighteen hour shifts on Miss Alchemy's murder but get back to work before Captain Singh catches us."

"Patty?" Barry asked in shock. "What're you doing here? I thought you moved away and who the Hell is Miss Alchemy?"

"Moved away?" Patty frowned. "Barry, I've been right here. Now rub that sand out of your eyes before-."

"Sleeping on the job again?" David Singh said as he entered the room.

"Never mind then."

"Give him a break, Singh." another one of the scientists in the crime lab sighed. "In fact, you've been forcing all of us to pull all-nighters on this case."

"C'mon Smythe." Singh sighed. "We all know who murdered Miss Alchemy. All I'm asking you is for some evidence. Then we can reveal the truth about 'Central City's Greatest Hero' - Citizen Cold."

"You mean Captain Cold?!" Barry asked, sounding alarmed. "One of The Rogues?"

"Who the Hell are The Rogues?" Smythe asked. "Though Captain Cold does sound cooler than Citizen Cold."

"Director Singh!" a police officer shouted. "There's a shoot-out between a unit of Nazis and 'our hero'."

"Right. Allen, I need you to.." Singh was cut off as he looked to Barry's seat and noticed that he wasn't there. "ALLEN! GODDAMMIT ALLEN!"

Barry ran out of the room and through the halls of the Central City Precinct but much to his shock he was only running at normal human speed not super speed. Barry kept running as he looked around in shock.

"Wait! What happened to my speAHHHHHH!" Barry was cut off as he tripped over the stairs and tumbled over before landing painfully on the floor.

"Barry?" a familiar voice called. "Are you alright?"

Barry turned his head as his eyes widened when he saw who was standing over him - it was his mother. It was Nora Allen. She was here, she was alive and she was actually speaking - to Barry.

"Mom?" Barry asked as he got onto his feet. "Mom...I...what're...how are you..."

"I'm here to take you out for your birthday, remember?" Nora asked. "You do remember your birthday. don't you?"

"Mom...are..." Barry was at a complete loss of words. "Are you really here?"

"Well, of course I'm here." Nora said. "Right on time. Like always."

Barry and Nora shared a hug as Barry embraced his mother with a tight but soft grip as tears of joy overtook his eyes.

"It's good to see you, Mom."

"It's good to see you too."

Outside the CCPD Precinct

"Mom, if you're here then where's Dad?" Barry asked his mother as they both made their way down the stairs outside of CCPD.

"Barry, are you okay?" Nora asked, her tone filled with concern. "Did you hit your head hard?"

"I'm fine, Mom but where's Dad?"

"Barry, your father died of a heart attack 10 years ago. Why were you running down the stairs?"

"I...Mom..." Barry paused for a moment as he silently breathed before exhaling. "I'm The Flash. Something is wrong, Mom. Someone must've-"

"Wait, The Flash?" Nora asked in confusion. "What's The Flash?"

"The Flash." Barry said. "You know, the guy who can run fast, wears a red suit?"

"Haven't heard of anything like that."

"What about the Green Arrow?"

"You mean The Arrow?"

"Uhh yeah, I guess." Barry replied.

"Well of course, I've heard of The Arrow." Nora said. "I mean, who hasn't?"

S.T.A.R. City

The Arrow swung through the buildings on his grappling arrow as he looked down and saw Helena Bertinelli, otherwise known as The Huntress, running on the ledge of the rooftop.

"I see you." The Arrow growled as he landed on the ledge and ran after Helena.

"No! No, no, n-" Helena was cut off as The Arrow jumped at her and put her back against the ledge.

"Tell me, Helena..." The Arrow said before raising his voice. "...WHERE IS RA'S AL GHUL?"

"Where's Ra's?" Helena scoffed. "Like I would tell you."

"Tell me where Ra's base is this time." The Arrow growled. "Do it while you can still talk!"

"It's on the tip of my tongue." Helena said sarcastically.

"Then let's get it off." The Arrow said, pulling out an arrow as he slashed Helena's cheek.

Helena winced in pain as The Arrow continued to interrogate her.

"Mayor Merlyn's son, Tommy, was kidnapped by Ra's Al Ghul." The Arrow said. "Ra's used him as bargaining chip to back the shoot-to-kill warants on the League of Assassins and to get the Alpha-Omega virus from Wheeler-Nicholson Industries but the League never gave back Tommy. So tell me, WHERE IS HE?!"

"Do the math, you dumbass." Helena sighed. "If they haven't given Mayor Merlyn's son back by now, then he's pretty much dead."

"Then so are you." The Arrow said.

"No, no, no! Please." Helena begged.

The Arrow kicked Helena off of the ledge as she screamed, falling all the down, bracing for impact on the hard surface of the ground when suddenly, a man in a blue tech suit came and rescued as he carried Helena before slowly putting her on the ground.

"A.T.O.M.?" Helena said. "I surrender."

"Good choice." The A.T.O.M. said before handcuffing her to a pole.

A.T.O.M. flew to the ledge as he called after The Arrow, who was just leaving.

"Arrow!" A.T.O.M. called, stopping the vigilante in his tracks.

"You should've let her hit the ground." The Arrow growled.

"You're not going to ask how I found you?" The A.T.O.M. asked, ignoring The Arrow's sass.

"Please, you're Ray Palmer. One of wealthiest and most powerful people in the world. You own more than half the shares and stocks that fund N.A.S.A and A.R.G.U.S. which gives control over the satellites, therefore giving you a bird's eye view of S.T.A.R. City."

"Yeah, that's pretty much it. Though I have to say, that is one long way down."

"She slipped." The Arrow lied.

"Listen, Arrow. A lot of them slip.." The A.T.O.M. said. "..but don't worry, I'm not here to judge you or your actions."

"You'd be the first." The Arrow replied.

"We need your help."

"We?"

"Yeah." The A.T.O.M. said, as he pressed a button on his suit causing holograms of people to appear. "Everyone fall in. We have to vote now."

Central City

Barry and his mother, Nora, kept walking down the streets of Central City before Barry stopped as he turned to face his mother.

"Mom, dumb question: do I own a car?" Barry asked.

"No." Nora said simply.

"Can I borrow yours? There's someone I have to see."

S.T.A.R. City

The Arrow stood on the ledge as he looked at the holograms of the people that were present. There was Citizen Cold, Heatwave, Golden Glider, Killer Frost, Deathstroke, Deadshot, Bronze Tiger and Katana.

"They're all holograms." The Arrow realized.

"Some of them are still in hiding. Others refused to come out in person." The A.T.O.M. explained.

"Well, looky, looky here." Killer Frost said playfully. "It's The Arrow. Guess he is real after all."

"He's older than I thought." Golden Glider said.

"He's been doing this much longer than any of us, sis." Citizen Cold reminded his little sister.

"You know why we're here, Arrow." The A.T.O.M. said, pulling up holographic footage of the war in what was left of Europe and Asia. "Nazi Germany re-rose under the leadership of Adolf Hitler II. They formed an alliance with Russia and began an assault on China. Two billion people died during the battle. The two superpowers then formed an alliance with Japan (the three superpowers call themselves The Trinity) and continued to tear through other countries with ease. They invaded whole countries: Afghanistan, Iraq, India and all the others. Another billion died and that was before Asia was destroyed. These three superpowers are now at war with France and the U.K. Millions more have died. I estimate a total of three and half billion casualties. That's nearly half of the world population.

Nazi Germany, Russia, Japan. They want to rule the world and they've destroyed nearly all of Europe and Asia to do it. We need to stop them before they destroy the rest of the earth to do it. You all know how strong these armies are, you know what's going on and right now I need to now - who's with me?"

Immediately, Killer Frost responded first.

"I'm in." Killer Frost, surprising A.T.O.M.

"You are?" The A.T.O.M. asked. "Just like that?"

"Please, this mission is clearly suicide." Killer Frost said. "If this is a suicide mission, count me in."

"This being a suicide mission should be a reason why you shouldn't join." Citizen Cold said.

"I'm in." Deathstroke said, ignoring Citizen Cold's words. "If we don't act now, it'll be too late. And now way in Hell am I going to let Nazis endanger my sons' futures."

"Aww, Slade's being a protective daddy." Golden Glider said playfully as Deathstroke rolled his eyes. "I'm in too."

"Like Hell you are!" Citizen Cold said.

"Lenny, we have to do this. We've done things like this before." Golden Glider protested.

"Protecting the city is different from fighting off three armies from three different countries." Citizen Cold.

"But-" Golden Glider tried to protest but was cut off by her older brother.

"No 'buts'." Citizen Cold said sternly, making his younger sister angry.

"I'm going to join these people and you can't stop me!" Golden Glider yelled, making everyone, even The Arrow flinch.

Golden Glider and Citizen Cold glared at each to other as they briefly continued their showdown.

"Fine." Citizen Cold said. "But I'm coming too. I don't want you doing anything you can't or shouldn't."

"That's what I thought." Golden Glider sassed.

"Well, if you two are going, I guess I'm coming along as well." Heatwave said, charging up his weapon. "After all, this has always been the three of us."

"I will fight as well." Katana said, slicing the air around her with her sword. "To avenge Mateo and Akio."

"I'm in." Bronze Tiger. "Like Slade said, I ain't gonna let Nazis decide my son's future."

"I wouldn't mind killing some Nazis." Deadshot said, loading his sniper. "I've still got a few rounds left in me."

"Alright, everyone's in." The A.T.O.M. said. "Now we need to formulate a plan before the Nazis blitzkrieg the rest of Europe and the world. Arrow, there's no better tactician other than y-"

"Forget it." The Arrow growled, surprising everyone.

"Arrow-" The A.T.O.M. tried to say before he was interrupted yet again.

"You don't stand a chance, A.T.O.M." The Arrow said.

"The Nazis aren't invincible."

"I'm not talking about The Trinity. I'm talking about the fight club you're think you can put together. As soon as you manage to get all of these idiots into one room, they'll eat each other and they'll kill you in the process."

"THE WORLD HAS DESCENDED INTO WORLD. WAR. THREE!" A.T.O.M. yelled. "If this continues, everything will be destroyed, including you and S.T.A.R. City!"

"One can only hope." The Arrow replied as he dived off the edge before firing a grappling arrow at a building and swinging through the air.

"He'll join us right?" Golden Glider asked.

"If he does, he knows where to find us." The A.T.O.M. said as he turned to face the holograms. "That's it for now, stay available. I'll be in touch."

The holograms of everyone nodded as The A.T.O.M. pressed another function on his suit, switching off the holograms as he looked out to S.T.A.R. City, hoping The Arrow was somehow listening.

"Please change your mind." The A.T.O.M. hopelessly whispered.

A few hours later

S.T.A.R. City

Barry made his way into the building as he searched the abandoned area for the secret elevator to the Arrowcave or the Bunker or whatever it was that Team Arrow called it. Barry knew that if he was going to find out what happened to this world or where he was he would need his friends to do it. Barry looked around the area as he then saw something peculiar about the shelf. Barry made his way to the shelf as he held it by the side and prepared his strength to move it.

"Please be a secret door, please be a secret door." Barry whispered to himself.

Barry moved the shelf away as it revealed an elevator to have been behind it.

"Really, Oliver? This is the best you can do now?" Barry asked.

Barry entered the elevator as he made his way down to the underground bunker. The elevator kept going down until it stopped as the doors opened, revealing the Bunker. It hadn't looked much different than the last time Barry saw it. Barry stepped inside the Bunker, the elevator doors closing behind him as he looked around, hoping to see someone inside.

"Felicity?" Barry called. "Diggle? Thea? Guys?"

Suddenly, Barry saw a green hooded figure come behind him. The hooded figure grabbed Barry the arm and threw him to the center of the bunker.

"Who the Hell are you?!" the hooded figure demanded as Barry looked to see the hooded figure.

Barry was surprised to see Oliver wearing his old 'The Arrow' suit instead of the new one that was made for him. The hooded figure then grabbed the collar of Barry's shirt and pushed him against the wall. The hooded figure pushed Barry against the wall with one hand as he pulled back the other, ready to punch Barry before he was stopped.

"Oliver, don't!" Barry cried as the hooded figure stopped dead in his tracks. "You have to remember, Oliver. It's me, Barry Allen. We're friends, remember?"

"Oliver?" the hooded figure said.

"I know it's you, Oliver." Barry said. "I know your real name, I know what happened."

"Oliver..." the hooded figure said again. "Oliver's dead. I watched him die."

"But that would mean.." Barry's eyes grew large as a dark realization dawned upon him. "You...this is...my god...you're not Oliver, you...you...you're Robert Queen, Oliver's father."
