Joseph walked down the street, Shizuka cooing quietly in his arms. He smiled as a cool breeze blew behind him. The sun was out and there was not a single cloud in the sky. It was truly a perfect summer day in Morioh.

He looked up as the baby pulled on his collar. "What is it, are you bored?" He asked, gently pulling it from her fingers. He glanced around at where they stopped.

They were in front of a blue-toned building, covered from top to bottom with sale signs. Joseph couldn't even make out the name of the place as it was obscured with a sign saying "Tarot Readings Free, Closing Sale!"

He chuckled to himself. "You want a reading? Sure, why don't we both get one?" He said, pushing open the door. When his eyes adjusted to the dim lighting of the building, he saw shelves upon shelves of packed up boxes surrounding a single counter for checkout. As the door closed, dust fell from above causing both him and Shizuka to sneeze.

There was a loud crash from behind the counter and a woman sprinted up to them. "I'm so sorry, I wasn't expecting any walk-ins today!" She said, bowing frantically, almost causing her massive black glasses to fall off her face each time.

Joseph looked at her in awe, she was extremely short. She was barely up to his elbows, even when counting the tall brown bun of hair on her head- which by his estimate may have been as tall as her! "It's alright, are you still willing to do tarot card readings? I'd like one for the child and me." He said.

She looked at the baby, pushing her glasses up quickly. "Oh, I'm very sorry but I'm waiting for a client in a few minutes to come to pick up an order they made! I can only do one reading today if that's alright?" She bowed yet again as she apologized, this time nearly whacking Shizuka in the face with her bun.

Joseph nodded and the woman's face lit up in pure joy.

"Follow me to the counter, please!" She almost glided over to the counter in joy, pulling cards out of an open box on a shelf beside the counter. The lady quickly blew the dust off them as they walked up. "Alright, what do you want me to look at?" She asked, looking up at him.

Joseph thought for a second. "Ah, how about a basic check-in on me, I don't want to take up too much time if you have something to do." He said. The woman nodded and pulled a card.

She set it on the table.

Joseph blinked as he saw the card she pulled, his heart racing for some reason.

The Magician reversed.

"Oh, you're hesitating about something?" She said as she glanced up at Joseph again, "I guess you just need a little push and that's why you're here!"

She pulled another card, setting it below the other.

The Hermit, also reversed.

His heart pounded faster in his chest. Something was off about this. Was she a stand user or something?

"You've not really been thinking of yourself lately, huh?" She said, going to pull another card.

He held his breath as time seemed to slow.

Suddenly, the door jerked open, causing light to blind everyone in the room. The lady dropped the next card and Joseph quickly caught it with Hermit Purple before it hit the floor.

His heart fell into his stomach as he saw what the final card was.

"Hey, I'm sorry I'm late!" A young man in a suit walked into the room.

"Oh, you'll have to excuse me! I'll be right back, sir!" She sprinted over to the man who had just entered.

Joseph paid them no mind as he stared at the card in his hand.

...It was the World.
