In any other situation, Qrow would have found this hilarious.
In some other situations, Taiyang would have found this kind of sexy.
But, as the 1-hour mark fast approached, the novelty of Raven Branwen getting stuck halfway through one of her own portals had managed to lose its luster.
"How does that even happen?" the blonde Huntsman-in-training wondered, "It's her Semblance, shouldn't this type of thing be impossible?"
Qrow just shrugged. "Search me...this is the first time I can remember this happening." He cocked his head to the side. "Although...I am a little surprised there isn't a stick up there…"
Tai was only slightly ashamed that he snickered at that.
"I will kill you, Qrow!"
Also, they'd opened a Scroll call so they could communicate with Summer (who was already on the other side of the portal).
Two ways, ftr.
"Oh please, you've been threatening me with that since we were kids."
"Well, this time I'm going to actually follow through with it!"
"Well, forgive me if I'm not exactly quaking in my boots right now." He pulled up a chair and sat down, leaning back.
"Qrow, please stop antagonizing Rae-Rae."
Summer couldn't see it right now, but Qrow gave a dismissive wave at his team leader's request. (Though he still followed through with it.)
"I guess you could say that our plans have hit a bit of a snag," Tai commented. "...the snag being Raven's hips."
He and Qrow both chuckled at that one.
"Grrrrrrr!" Raven growled, "As soon as I get unstuck I will castrate the both of you!"
"Have fun with that!~"
"Not gonna lie," Tai continued, "getting stuck like that really looks like a pain in the ass!"
The chuckles turned into full on laughter.
"You know…," Tai suggested, "...we can probably get her through easier if I pushed from the back. It's worth a shot, right?"
There was a good twenty seconds of silence.
"...dammit, Summer; pull harder!"
"I'm trying!" the leader protested, "But your wide, child-bearing hips aren't making this any easier!"
