This story... it was inspired by something I have wanted to do for a Naruto story but I realized fits here ten times better... you'll see what it is, what I mean and how that works out. It is a powerful story idea, and one that will become awesome. A Loser's quest takes priority though, so don't worry about that.

'Ow... my does... everything ache... duh, of course it does, I just uped my workouts.' Hibiki sighed, whining ever so slightly as he shifted in his seat. 'Why does everything have to hurt before you get stronger? I am so tired of this weak human frame. Why do I want to be a hero again?' That thought, as always, came with a rush of guilt that had him glancing back at his twin, Izuku. He had never shared his goal, seeing the abuse his brother experienced from the rest of the world just for sharing his goal. Katsuki attacked him, students and teachers mocked him, their mother had no faith in his ambitions...

It was awful all around really... and depsite defending his brother to the death, causing many black marks on his record unfortunately, Hibiki still kept his ambitions secret...

A fact he relished in the moment their teacher said "So, as third years students, it's time to think about your futures and what you want to do with your lives. I could pass out your career aptitude test, but why bother? We all know you all want to go to the hero track." The teacher threw the papers into the air as the kids in the class started showing off their quirks, none really suited to hero work if Hibiki was honest with himself. "Yes, yes, you got some very impressive quirks but no power usage allowed in school. Get ahold of yourselves."

"Hey teach, don't lump me in with these bunch of losers. I'm the real deal, but these guys will be lucky to be a sidekick to some busted D-lister. Ha!" Bakugo, as always, called out with his typical arrogance.

It made Hibiki sick to think a prick like him would get into hero work... but so was life. 'What a douche, but so long as he is ignoring Izzy, I am fine with it.'

"You think you're better than us, Katsuki?" the students in the class asked angrily.

"Let's go. I'll take you all on," Bakugo responded in his typical douche fashion.

"Huh. You've got an impressive test result. Maybe you will get into UA High," the teacher said.

"He's gonna try for the national school?"

"That school has a 0.2% acceptance rate!"

"It's impossible to get into!"

"That's exactly why it's the only place worthy of me. I ace all the mock tests. I'm the only one at this school who stands a chance of getting in. I'll end up more popular than All Might himself and be the richest hero of all time. the people all across the world will know who I am, and it all starts with UA High." Bakugo said, jumping onto his desk.

"Oh Yeah, Midoriya, don't you want to go to UA too?" the teacher asked, causing the room to break into laughter and focus on his poor twin. Naturally Hibiki shivered with barely restrained rage and the urge to cause suffering to idiots.

"Midoriya, you're kidding, right? There is no way you're getting into the hero course without a quirk."

"Uh, actually, they got rid of that rule. I can be the first one," Izzy replied.

Bakugo exploded Midoriya's desk, causing him to fall to the ground. "AARRGH! Listen up, Deku. You're even worse than these damn rejects, you quirkless wannabe. You really think they'll let someone like you in when they can have me?!"

"Huh?! No way, you got it all wrong, really. I'm not trying to compete against you. You gotta believe me. It's just that I wanted to be a hero since I was little. I may not have a quirk but can still try my hardest, can't I?" Izzy replied, utterly terrified.

"You'll never be able to hang with the best of the best. You'll die in the exams, defenseless Izuku. The school's already crappy. You really want to embarrass it more by failing so hard."

"ENOUGH!" Everyone froze, Hibiki's reputation for violence too strong for everyone to ignore, even if he lacked a quirk. "Seriously, attacking a defenseless person, real heroic Bakugo. If you keep your shit up I will go and beg someone in U.A. to look into your past. I heard there was a cop that could detect lies, maybe he can interrogate me. That would be a very black mark on your record, stop you from getting into U.A." Turning to their teacher, he gave the man his most intimidating look, getting a very frightened shiver in return. " And you, your a teacher, not protecting your students from abuse and promoting illegal quirk use... I wonder if you'd keep your job if the right cop heard of this. I am sure Bakugo's many victims would love to attest to both stories... so, are you going to help or stay there like a stick in the mud?" His words, cold as they were, seemed to motivate the teacher who let out a long sigh.

"Bakugo... go back to your seat, no attacking Midoriya..." He said the words so nonchalantly, as if he was doing it to appease Hibiki, which he was. Bakugo, who had had his ass beaten by Hibiki twice over the years, just glared at him for a moment before obeying the teacher.

Though Hibiki loved to fight and was good at it having rarely lost a single one even agaisnt Bakugo, attacking people with his words was far more fun and effective. Everyone knew he would do it, and since he had been arrested for putting one of Izzy's bullies in the hospital two years ago, everyone knew he knew actual cops. He hadn't been lying about knowing of a cop that could read lies, it was that cop that prevented Hibiki from being put into Juvie. Detective Tsukauchi still caught up with him every month or so, just to monitor the situation and make sure Hibiki was behaving. Actually it was that man that inspired him to become a hero in the first place...

He was the first person to see his desperation to help others and declare that he could succeed... and so changed Hibiki's life entirely. He started to train, take his health seriously, got into Taekwando which helped with his rage issue... and of course mandatory anger management classes which really helped him in situations like the one he was in. He made serious progress...

Progress that his brother, who was obsessed with Heroes, never had... all Izuku did was obsess over them, write in his notebooks and nerded out. He had no efforts to become ready for the hero course, try to become stronger or do anytthing to better his chances. He just... didn't help himself. It was for that reason Hibiki thought his brother a poor candidate to become a hero.

He loved him and he would fight to the death to defend him, but that was the truth of it. No matter how much he wished otherwise...
