Hello everybody! Welcome to the first instalment of "Shen couldn't sleep and instead chose to write fanfiction."

I am experimenting with the whole mature rating, the story will start off fairly slow before an increase in tempo and some lemons are freshly squeezed. I will warn you, this is my first time writing something like this and the introduction is fairly slow-cooked… I also apologise for ruining your childhood if you make it to the end!

I would appreciate feedback and criticism, as I'm stumbling into unexplored territory here!

That's enough of my rambling, time for the action!

Forbidden Campsite - A Kung Fu Panda one-shot.

12PM – Po's Room – Panda Village.

Po awoke to the loud calls of his father and Master Shifu.

He had recently banished Kai to the Spirit Realm and wished to spend time at his father's village to familiarise himself with his family as well as assist his panda brethren in repairing the village.

It had been roughly 2 weeks since the battle between the two titans, Po could remember it clear as day… Tigress's mind was capable of recreating the emptiness she felt once Po was gone. But most importantly, Crane and Viper reminisced on the time they spent as jombies.

"Son! Wake up, we're going back to the Valley of Peace!" Mr. Ping slammed open the door which led to the makeshift cabin housing Po.

"That's today? I thought we had more work to do!" Po awoke with surprise and with a happy attitude.

"We're mostly done, your father has decided that you and your friends have done enough for them and you're free to return at any time. I personally wouldn't mind staying for longer but Shifu was chirping on about 'the sacred duties of the Dragon Warrior." Mr. Ping mocked the words of Master Shifu, earning a slight chuckle from his son.

"He can be like that sometimes, are you sure my father is ready to see me depart?"

"I'm sure about that, Po. He's reassured me that seeing you again was enough and was eternally thankful for the repairs yourself and your friends generously offered!"

"Daaaaad, I've told you already, they're called the Furious Five… and they're the most awesome team of warriors in existence!" Po victoriously cheered.

"Well, Shifu, Li and the Furious Five are preparing to leave the Panda Village… I'm sure you'd like to say goodbye to your panda brothers and sisters!" Mr. Ping yakked as he pulled a bowl of dim-sum from beyond his back.

"I've brought up some breakfast!"

"Alright! Tell Master Shifu I'll be out once I'm finished with my meal, I have to get changed too!" Po enthusiastically replied as Mr. Ping handed him his bowl of dim-sum.

"Be quick! I don't want to be berated by Master Shifu!"

"He's not that harsh… just a little impatient," Po smirked as his father left the room.

Mr. Ping sluggishly made his way down the stairs and silently gulped before exiting the house and confronting Master Shifu.

"Where is he?" Shifu asked, surprisingly calm.

"He just got up, he'll be out shortly, I promise!" Mr. Ping chirped back in an attempt to avoid any awkward emotions from rising to the surface.

"Oh, of course he is." Shifu sighed heavily before returning to his crowd of students.

"Who knew Po's father could run such a beautiful village, I don't blame him for wanting to help out!" Crane exclaimed, still in a relative amount of awe despite being in the village for a week.

"Of course, Po always thinks about others," Tigress dreamily smiled as she took in the atmosphere around her for the final time; at least for a while.

"Here she goes again! I honestly think she should just propose to Po at this point," Monkey snickered, receiving a low growl from Tigress in response.

"I do not like the Dragon Warrior," Tigress responded sternly.

"Sure, that's like saying pigs can fly; it's a complete lie." The simian responded with confidence, although he received a spiteful hiss from Viper.

"Don't be so quick to judge Tigress's emotions, Monkey… it's not like you're the expert of anything romantically significant," Viper spat back, receiving laughter from the entire group; excluding a very spiteful simian.

"Says the one slithering around the wings of Crane."

Monkey's words completely silenced the Furious Five as every single one of them realised Monkey's words carried some truth. Viper and Crane began to blush heavily as the remainder of the warriors were locked into deep thought, although the spiritual beings blessed them that day and a very cheery Po exited his house whilst humming some form of song.

"Heya guys! Are you ready to get moving back to the Jade Palace and practice some more awesome kung-fu?" Po cheered in an attempt to lift the mood of the Furious Five, despite sensing the awkwardness. "Hey, what's going on?" He asked, confused by the silence.

"They were just having some… formal discussions," Tigress awkwardly replied, nodding in the direction of Crane and Viper before paying attention back to Po.

"Have you said your goodbyes to Lei Lei? She's going to miss you!" Po warmly smiled, igniting a dormant flame within Tigress; which she was forced to extinguished with haste.

"Of course. We'll return eventually so I should be able to visit her sometime in the future." Tigress plainly responded, although her mind was in another place at this time.

'I've never experienced such a thing before… what in Buddha's name was that feeling? Why was it so… warm and welcoming?' Tigress's mind raged on, which caught the eye of the Dragon Warrior.

"Are you feeling okay, Ti?" Po waved his hand in front of the feline's eyes, snapping her back to reality whilst greatly amusing the rest of the Furious Five.

"Uh-uhm… Yes. I'm doing well; I just got lost in thought," Tigress reassured her friend, although deep down she saw it as nothing but a feeble lie.

"If you say so!" Po gleefully responded, skipping forward to pay attention to Master Shifu.

"I assume you have finished packing and are ready to move out to the Valley of Peace, correct?" Master Shifu sharply asked.

"Of course, Master Shifu. I assume once we get back to the Valley of Peace, I'll be instructed with teaching you more… advanced methods of harnessing your Chi? - I'm sorry, Master. I'm still new to this whole master of Chi thing," Po nervously responded, playing with his thumbs in the process.

"Mastery of teaching doesn't come with the blink of an eye, Po. I expect you will have your… alternative methods of teaching, but it should guide us to the same goal in the end."

"Yet another noodle of wisdom you've fed me today!" Po joked, earning a slight chuckle from Master Shifu.

"By the end of your journey back to the Jade Palace, I expect that noodle to become a buffet; which reminds me… We have a lot of work to do once we get home," Shifu explained, although Po was still oblivious to the fate of the Jade Palace library.

"What do you mean by that? Surely the Jade Palace still stands high and mighty!" The Dragon Warrior exclaimed, Tigress's face crumpled as she witnessed the destruction of the Jade Palace before seeing Shifu be turned into a Jade Amulet, the memory of such an event closely lingered within her mind.

"Uh. Before I rushed to the panda village in an attempt to locate you and see if you had mastered Chi, I had witnessed Kai lay waste to the Jade Palace. We don't and won't know the true extent of the damage until we reach our destination," Tigress pensively informed the panda, whose face turned from pure excitement to pure agony.

"So you're telling me he destroyed all of the scrolls that Oogway had created?" He wearily asked.

"Dragon Warrior. I wish not to worry you about past events, especially when we should be looking towards the future. Presumably, most of the knowledge that Oogway left behind has been completely eradicated. On the contrary, we now have an opportunity to create our own scrolls, to represent our own knowledge and to retell some of our greatest legends… It wouldn't be a surprise if I were to find out that Oogway is content with this fate. This past week I have thought that he would universally despise me for allowing him to destroy such valuable information but my grandmaster thinks in mysterious ways; I'm thinking he allowed this to happen to initiate a fresh start for the Valley of Peace," Shifu interjected, bringing a mix of sadness and excitement to the panda's eyes.

"Woah! I and the Furious Five get our own legends, awesome!" Po cheered, receiving a stern glare from Master Shifu.

"I wouldn't get ahead of yourself, we'll have to rebuild the Jade Palace from the ground up first before we even think about bringing ink to our scrolls," Master Shifu advised before adjusting his travelling bag that Li Shan had gracefully lent him.

"Are we all ready to leave?" Shifu addressed the remainder of the Furious Five, slyly noting the separation of Po and Tigress from the group to engage in their own conversation.

'I see what you're doing, Dragon Warrior. I appreciate the fact you are directly responsible for allowing my daughter to smile once again but if I catch you placing your hands somewhere of concern, I promise I will break those flabby arms of yours and you'll be reduced to nothing but a useless yin-yang coloured creature!' Shifu thought with anger, although his stoic expression was enough to hide his internal and sinister thoughts.

The Furious Five replied with a tsunami of nods, signalling that they were truly ready to leave. Po hugged Li Shan goodbye before heading from the entrance of the panda village, taking the infamous elevator down to the bottom of the mountainside as the group of warriors breathed a sigh of relief and began opening up a conversation with each other.

"Don't think I'm going to let the shenanigans between you two slip my mind anytime soon. I'll be closely watching you both throughout our journey home," Shifu warned Crane and Viper. As much as the red panda hated to admit, he had witnessed the relationship between the two warriors flourish from the very beginning; it scared him even more than the possibility of Po and Tigress becoming an official couple.

"Yes, Master Shifu. We will remain under professional courtesy. My apologies if we made an impression that we were acting as something else," Crane sincerely responded, allowing Master Shifu to pass him and his not-so-secret serpentine lover. Once Shifu was out of earshot, both Crane and Viper shared a sigh of relief.

"Oh, that was a close one!" Crane exclaimed, all be it more stealthily to avoid any type of detection by Shifu.

"I agree! I know I'm usually optimistic about our master and his choices but I feel like barring relationships is such an absurd idea," Viper commented, receiving a suspicious stare from Monkey and Mantis.

"Of course you two would want that rule removed. Myself and Mantis struggle in the ladies department but surely having two warriors going at it in the opposite room would guarantee that we gain some confidence!" Monkey sarcastically remarked, receiving a glare from Crane in response.

"Yeah! I know you two have something going for one another but I can respect the Grandmaster's rules of privacy. It is forbidden to form relationships with another warrior because affiliations between members of the same temple must remain neutral and romantically untouched!" Mantis proclaimed, adding to his simian friend's response.

"I understand Chi is a relatively new concept and something we have yet to experiment much with, but…" Tigress trailed off, smirking as she was setting up for a gob-smacking statement. "Romantic entanglements are infamous for upsetting one's Chi and internal balance, the latter being a great example as you four seem to be heavily debating the topic of love. I just avoid this type of discussion as it always leads to friction, and I've been caring for Lei Lei for the past week!" Tigress finished her statement, temporarily leaving the Furious Five in awe. However, this moment of verbal victory was interrupted by a sly primate.

"Of course, avoiding romantic entanglements because you wish to retain your internal balance; totally doesn't sound like someone struggles with their feelings!" Monkey rudely spat back, raising his hands in a mocking gesture which didn't anger Tigress, but hurt her. She found herself lowering her ears and her walking speed, dropping back into the radius of the Dragon Warrior.

Tigress was completely unaware of his presence until her sluggish pace caused her to crash into the back of Po's belly, startling him as he struggled to retain grip of the few peaches he had picked from the nearby trees.

"Woah, Tigress! Are you alright..? It's not like you to end up plodding along with my type of pace, is anything bothering you?" Po wholeheartedly asked, assisting Tigress with picking herself off from her feet during the process.

"Oh, no, Po. I'm doing well, I just got lost in thought." Tigress blatantly lied, thankfully the Dragon Warrior was completely oblivious to her facade; even allowing her to drop next to him instead of looming behind her.

"Are you sure? I thought you were talking with the rest of the Furious Five!" The panda enthusiastically cheered, despite the presence of other thoughts looming in the back of his mind.

"I was, but I was soon struck with a bundle of thoughts," Tigress sighed, she was telling half-truths at this stage.

"And what would those be, oh mighty Tigress?" Po remarked, his own sense of humour causing him to chortle.

"Mainly the immaturity of the Furious Five. We got done dealing with a genocidal warlord a week ago and they're already on the topic of relationships and women, well… the male warriors are at least. Crane and Viper are too busy with their own independent romantic entanglements to be involved with outside business," The feline weighed some of her thoughts onto the Dragon Warrior's mind in order to judge his response.

"I see. I still don't understand why that's such a bad thing. I'm sure they would want to think about the future and positive events, especially after we all managed to put away such an intimidating opponent," Po kindly replied, shoving another peach into his mouth in the progress.

"YOU put away an intimidating opponent. Most of the Furious Five were stuck as amulets until you freed them and it was your brethren that put in the majority of the work when we gathered to provide you with our energy," Tigress reminded Po, surprising him with her surprisingly selfless attitude.

"I never knew you would be so eager to credit me for all of this when YOU were the one that talked some sense into my head. YOU were the one who assisted me with training and YOU were the one providing me with energy alongside my massive family!"

"But you were the one that took Kai away and saved us without batting an eye. You did what you thought was best at the sacrifice of your own life," Tigress's eyes began to well up with tears, but she was thankfully able to suppress her own emotions to avoid detection from the Dragon Warrior.

"It was Kai's own undoing. He teased me about the Wuxi Finger Hold only being effective on mortals… Of course I was ready to banish myself to the Spirit Realm to save you all but the universe gave me a second chance; that's why I'm here, Ti," The Dragon Warrior placed his paw on the shoulder of Tigress, usually, she would refuse contact with another person but she was perfectly comfortable if the person laying her paws on her was no-one else but the Dragon Warrior.

Tigress remained silent as her pace slowed to a halt thanks to her mind being enveloped with flashbacks from that night Po was shot with cannon, then again with him using the Wuxi Finger Hold against himself. The Dragon Warrior had sacrificed himself on two major occasions, not to mention the battle he had with Ke-Pa, where he single-handedly saved the Valley of Peace from certain doom.

"Tigress? Hello? We need to keep moving or else we're going to lose sight of the others!" Po reminded the feline, who was still battling with her own thoughts. Po's soft and heart-warming voice was enough to bring her back to reality and her mind reminded her of a childish game that she had always wished to play.

"TAG, YOU'RE IT!" Tigress bellowed as she slapped Po against the chest, catching a quick feel of how unusually toned the panda had become since his training; she quickly brushed these thoughts off and dropped on all fours in anticipation for the panda's chase.

"Oh you- c'mon! I'm gonna catch ya, Tigress!" Po responded in a fit of amused shock.

"Sure you are, pin cushion!" Tigress teased as the ground beneath her turned into dust as she witnessed Po give chase.

'What did I just call him? Pincushion? Sometimes I question the state of my own mind since these recent events… wait, why am I using nicknames on the Dragon Warrior? - Uh oh…' Tigress thought as she further led the panda towards the group of chatting warriors.

Whilst Po and Tigress played their childish game of tag in order to catch up with the others, Crane and Viper had opened up a completely new and foreign discussion to the warriors of the Furious Five.

"Mantis. I remember that time when we were under Shen's captivity, you talked about settling down to find a mate; then you two would perform the unspeakable act and bear a child. Have your thoughts changed?" The avian asked after an uncomfortable shroud of silence enveloped them as they heard Po and Tigress in the distance seemingly enjoying themselves.

"Eh. I honestly don't fully understand where you're going with such a question but if I had to give a response, I'd say I'm still confident that I'll find the right girl someday. It's just hard finding someone to date outside of the temple, especially when we're training hard for kung-fu and man… since the addition of the Dragon Warrior to our arsenal, life hasn't slowed down for any of us; myself included!" Mantis replied, going on a mild rant as he hopped onto Crane's straw hat.

"What about you? I'm guessing you have plans for Viper, correct?" The insect teased, causing Viper and Crane to gulp nervously.

"Our relationship is purely professional, just like the ones shared with everyone else," Crane retorted in an attempt to preserve his dignity. A mere hour of walking and they had already come to such an awkward topic, it would be a miracle if everyone somehow returned from the journey home as a unified team.

"Sure, because I invite Viper inside of my room late at night to practice painting and calligraphy. You two may be considering a relationship but your ideas of dates absolutely stink!" Monkey barged in to their conversation, snickering at the countless nights he's witnessed Crane and Viper silently whispering and drawing on rice paper at odd hours of the night.

"He's got a point, you two have been doing it a lot since the death of Shen as well. I can tell when you two have maybe done more than bring brush to paper on some nights… the way you both awkwardly look at each other some nights whilst looking absolutely drained; I thought you would sleep well after such a relaxing activity!" Mantis backed up his primate friend, alluding to the inappropriate activities that both warriors could've potentially been undertaking.

Crane nervously reached into his wing and pulled out an acupuncture set before showing it to the other two males of the group, sighing heavily in the process.

"If you two really think we've been getting busy, think again. Some nights I get really tense and Viper helps me with acupuncture sessions, there's no big secret involved," The avian jested, applauding himself mentally for being able to uphold such an excuse for certain nights.

"Yeah, I would help you too if any of you needed it!" Viper chirped, although Mantis looked unamused.

"I'm the master of acupuncture here. If Crane wanted a true relief, he would've come straight to me… something tells me he isn't just there for the acupuncture," Mantis's comment really made the makeshift couple blush this time, they had no way to retort without exposing themselves in the process.

"Crane tends to talk to me about his problems during these sessions, something he can't do without Mantis boasting about his resolutions instead of giving him true solutions," Viper smoothly responded, she was convinced she had managed to corner both of the warriors into dropping the conversation whilst simultaneously saving herself from any future embarrassment if she were to spill the green tea.

"The only way we're going to get you to admit to such deeds is if we catch you in performing them, heheh," Mantis chuckled, almost slipping off Crane's hat.

"Back to my questions, how about you… Monkey? What do you plan on doing once life slows down and it's time to settle down?" Crane asked, attempting to ease the pain of the somewhat awkward predicament, still hearing Tigress and Po happily chasing one another behind them.

"Honestly, I haven't even thought about it. I think I've got at least another decade until something important such as this slips into my mind. You never know, I may find the one and eventually settle down but as for now, my mind remains open and dedicated to kung-fu," Monkey spoke with truth and with nobility.

"How about you, Master Shifu?" Crane cawed ahead of him, catching Shifu's attention as the red panda raised his ears.

"What was that?" Shifu called from the distance.

"What do you plan on doing once it's time to settle down?"

"What in Buddha's name could you mean by that?"

"You know, finding a girlfriend or wife, raising a family, spending time with one another… that sort of idea."

"There may be no such opportunity for me, I already had my chance with Mei Ling and most likely won't have another, especially considering we're all under the tutoring of the Dragon Warrior and your time as kung-fu masters has only just begun in comparison to mind… Hmm, now that I'm pondering a bit; maybe I will contact Mei Ling and arrange some sort of… dare I say, date?" Shifu dropped closer to Crane in order to further converse with the avian and the rest of the Furious Five.

'I'm going to be here for a while, I guess opening up to my students slightly can't hurt, can it?' Shifu mentally questioned himself before returning to his conversation with Crane, still noting the slight mumbling and chuckling from Po and Tigress behind them.

"Alright- PHEW- I admit…" Po loudly exhaled whilst sucking in as much air as possible. "I may have let my stamina go a little bit whilst I was at the panda village!"

"The Dragon Warrior… noble enough to fall out of the sky and land directly in my face to defy fate; defeating the likes of Tai Lung, Lord Shen and Kai. Yet he fails to chase down a tiger in a game of tag; reality can be truly humbling!" Tigress joked with a warm smile on her face, an expression Po was only getting used to since his time in the Spirit Realm came to an abrupt end.

Po erupted into a fit of chuckling and wheezing before eventually catching his breath so he could reply to Tigress.

"If I was able to use my mystical powers to see you as a running cookie, I would've caught you by now… I must've really drained my Chi during that fight with Kai," Po chortled, causing Tigress to chuckle alongside him.

"Well, would the mighty Dragon Warrior like to chase me down again?" Tigress's tail swished across the ground violently in excitement.

"I don't know- I mean, I need some of this energy to walk back home, right?

"Oh come on, since when was the Dragon Warrior a person to condemn fun?" Tigress further teased the panda before a thought slipped out of her mouth and into the brisk air. "You are my predator, and I am your prey…" Tigress covered her mouth with her paw as she furiously blushed, thankfully; Po seemed to brush off that statement, despite his male instincts telling him she meant more with that statement.

"If you say so!" Po readied himself for a sprint as Tigress panicked and dropped to all fours.

"I'm going to truly catch you this time!" He further declared as he began to pick up his pace on the Tigress, managing to surpass the others as they sprinted into the distance.

"It seems like the Dragon Warrior is having some much-needed unwinding time with Master Tigress." Master Shifu deadpanned, receiving a devious smirk from Monkey.

"I wonder if panda-tiger cubs are a possibility." Monkey voiced his thoughts into the open air, receiving Oogway's staff in his neck as a response from the Grandmaster.

"Don't ever picture my daughter and the Dragon Warrior in such a compromising position again! You're lucky I'm forgiving enough to negate any type of punishment against you!" Master Shifu snapped before gaining his composure. "I apologise, Master Monkey. The wait from the panda village and the constant workload has gotten to me mentally, perhaps more than I let on," Shifu lowered his ears in shame, but he was patted on the back by the primate; who was still recovering from being slammed into the ground.

"I understand, Master. I apologise for my thoughts."

"Excellent. I'm okay with talking about relationships, but anything involving my Tigress and the Dragon Warrior is off the table, at least for now."

"For now?" Mantis curiously commented.

"Yes. It's almost undeniable that Tigress and Po may share feelings for one another, especially after their interactions with one another." This statement from Master Shifu would've made the Furious Five spit out their tea… if they had tea.

"What makes you think this way, Master?" Viper politely asked.

"I will never understand your generation. One moment you're happily speaking about relationships between one another and the next you're seemingly oblivious… I heard everything, Master Viper!" Shifu responded energetically, even allowing himself to demonstrate a devious smirk.

Crane and Viper blushed with ferocity as their master's remark laid into their soul, thankfully they wouldn't have time to think for long.

"I was only playing a so-called 'Joke'. Apparently, this was required to begin my mastery of Chi training; according to the Dragon Warrior at least.

"Well, you sure got us, Master!" Crane nervously responded, understanding that if he let onto his true emotions, he could very well end up being kicked out of the Jade Palace.

"I see I am already doing well with my training!" Shifu enthusiastically cackled before picking up his pace to separate himself from the Furious Five and keep an eye on Po and Tigress… but he soon noticed the clearing of a forest and the absence of Po and Tigress.

'Oh no. Rowdy warriors, a clearing in a forest that most likely leads on for miles. Not only is there an exponential risk of danger, there's-" Shifu's thoughts were interrupted by a mild gag that escaped from his throat. He rapidly cleansed himself of any negative thoughts before holding his hand up in the air to signal to the mumbling group of warriors to halt their advances.

"Master Shifu? What's wrong- oh no." Viper cooed before she noticed the dense forest that lay ahead, her feminine senses telling her anything was possible if Po and Tigress were left without adult supervision for too long.

"Time to establish some ground rules. I'm almost positive we will run into Po and Tigress eventually, so there's no need to worry. Nightfall will soon be approaching as it turns out we've been walking for quite the distance. We will remain as a group whilst searching for a suitable camping location, are we all clear?" Master Shifu commanded, the group replying with their signature acknowledgement of respect.

"I wish it didn't take us so long to leave the panda village now," Monkey sighed, a nod from Master Shifu caught his attention as they headed into the thick forest.

Their surroundings were quite sinister, it seemed as if the trail through the forest was relatively fresh. Some stray stumps of previously standing trees could be seen as the Furious Five deduced that the area must've been a location for lumberjacks to extract wood from trees; the trail being a direct route through the forest in order for them to maximize their lumber yield.

"You'd think for an area where lumberjacks worked, they would have the decency to at least chop down more of the forest… I could most likely stare down this trail for a mile and I've yet to catch sight of Po or Tigress," Shifu mumbled with frustration as the Furious Five followed him closely.

The cawing of birds and the whipping of the wind against the trees was enough to make anyone nervous, even a group of warriors who were trudging through the woodlands to find their lost friends.

5 PM – Before Sunset – With Po and Tigress.

"WHOO- AH- I think… I think I've had enough!" Po declared as he ran full force into Tigress, almost unintentionally ripping part of her hanfu in the process. "TAG… YOU'RE IT!" Po exhaled aggressively as he collapsed onto the floor in a fit of exhaustion.

"HOW? HOW DO YOU- Argh! How do you maintain such stamina, especially for a panda!" Tigress angrily kicked a nearby pebble before sitting down on a nearby log, it didn't take long for her feline senses to kick in as she realised the place that surrounded her was unfamiliar and foreign to her.

"Wait… Po- I think we're lost!" The feline stated as Po released an overwhelmingly loud groan of annoyance.

"Hey! I did treat you as prey- so don't hold our position against me… I did what you asked," Po retorted as he slowly lifted himself up from the floor. "Wait… you're right, where are we? I can't hear anyone."

"Your childish antics have placed me here, curse you, Po!" Tigress unleashed her anger onto the panda, who sheepishly recoiled and for a moment, Tigress stood above him in his fragile state. "I'm- I'm sorry, Po. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings."

Tigress's apology was interrupted when a warm smile manifested itself on the panda's face.

"Heheh, it's okay. I know you're joking because if I recall correctly… it was you that initiated our game of tag! - Please don't hit me?" Po chuckled before recoiling yet again as he exposed the flaws of Master Tigress, which merely made her flatten her ears and lower her head.

"You're right… this is my fault-"

"This is no one's fault. We couldn't have predicted we would end up here. I don't think we're that far off from the rest of the group, it just seems that way because we were chasing each other for so long."

"You know how agile I can be, Po. It's impressive you managed to maintain such a following on me… if my agility hasn't failed me, then we're truly lost," Tigress admitted in defeat.

"Well, if we're lost, then we better get started on the survival etiquette!" Po smiled whilst cooing, recalling the last time he was stuck with Master Tigress… this time he planned on righting his wrongs.

"First of all, we'll find a place to establish a campsite. We'll light two fires. One large enough to draw attention and another one that's safe enough for us to sit around. We'll gather food and materials to establish a tent. I would say sleeping within the confines of the same space is inappropriate but judging by how fast the sun is setting, we won't get time to build another tent… especially considering how large we are."

"Woah, not bad, Dragon Warrior! It seems like someone really did their studying since our last incident," Tigress praised the panda for putting together such a reasonable plan in a short amount of time.

"Not only did I do my research, I paid attention to my dad's early camping stories… you know, the ones he was telling at the buffet but you were too preoccupied with Lei Lei to listen properly," Po joked, receiving a slight chuckle from Tigress in response.

Po was happily gathering wood with his new kung-fu abilities, using his Chi in order to chop down small trees and turn their remains into logs that could be used for building a tent. However, his body decided to interrupt him when a large gurgle erupted from his stomach and resonated throughout the entire forest.

"Seems like someone's hungry," Tigress teased, sneaking up on the panda and almost pouncing on him if she hadn't suppressed her urge to do such a thing.

"Of course, I'm a panda! We've been eating at large buffets for the past week and Shifu tells us to take as little food as possible… now don't tell Shifu about this but~" Po trailed off as he reached into his large backpack, revealing a small cookery set and some ingredients for his noodle soup. "I brought some extra supplies with me!" He victoriously claimed as he spun his yin-yang staff around his fingers in excitement.

"Is it odd that I could imagine myself kissing you for doing such a thing..?" Tigress questioned playfully, receiving a smirk from Po.

"Teenage me would be very delighted to hear such a thing, although any 'praise' would have to be reserved for later," The panda teased, causing Tigress to blush and even sense a slight tingling from her lower area; one she had not experienced since her previous heat. She began to panic before realising that it was most likely a false alarm and yet another charm expressed by the Dragon Warrior.

"Why not adult you?" Tigress covered her mouth yet again after her slip up.

"You may want to cover your mouth but something tells me that deep down, you want me to hear these compliments… any explanation as to why, hmm?" Po tested the feline whilst gathering up the last of the logs required for both campfires.

"As you know, I'm still new to this friendship thing… so I'm dipping my toes in the art of compliments."

"You're already a good friend, Ti. You don't need to experiment on something that's already perfect… besides, I heard cats hate water!" Po cackled as he let down the logs.

"Ti, would you mind hammering down some logs to use for our makeshift tent? Apparently I never packed our tents and Master Shifu has them after all; I still hope you don't mind-" Po's mouth was hushed by Tigress's sharp claw.

"Relax, Dragon Warrior. You're not doing anything wrong… you're right, circumstances call for us to sleep in such close proximity," Tigress seductively whispered, causing Po to tense up a slight bit as she ran off to punch a tree in a fit of rage as well as with assisting the Dragon Warrior.

'Why would you think- no- SAY such a thing, Tigress? It's clear the Dragon Warrior isn't well equipped for romance and neither are you. Actions speak louder than words- Oh no… no no no- I am not doing that!~ Okay, maybe I am, but not yet!' Tigress's mind was lit up like an inferno as she gathered the last remnants of the lumber and began hauling it back to the makeshift campsite.

Meanwhile – Back with Master Shifu and the Furious Five…

"Night is beginning to fall… I fear we may not find them in time," Master Shifu flatly stated.

"They're the strongest members of the Jade Palace. They'll find their way out of the forest and to us eventually, especially Tigress," Viper reassured her master, but it seemed like he furrowed his brow in irritation as Viper misunderstood him. "Did I say something wrong, master?"

"You just misunderstood me, that's all."

"How? We are talking about the same subject, right? Them making it out of the forest…"

"Not that. I fear we may be too late until Tigress and Po decide to try something… dishonourable."

"You're not saying-"

"YES, I AM!" Shifu snapped, his body violently shaking in anger as they strolled forth.

"Surely they wouldn't do such a thing!" Crane replied, still walking alongside Viper whilst having Mantis on his hat.

"You should've seen them before our mission to defeat Kai… I can definitely tell there's some kind of romantic tension between the two," Shifu remarked, everyone slowly nodded as if they were oblivious to what he had said. "Oh, don't tell me you haven't seen it?"

"We have, Master Shifu… we just don't wish to risk our honour by speaking out loud about it," Mantis deadpanned, receiving an annoyed shrug from the Grandmaster.

"Alright, I'll give you five minutes to discuss anything you'd like regarding romance. I want you to be mature about this and to really consider what you're saying-"

"You're scared of them creating cubs in the forest, aren't you?" Monkey maniacally cackled as Shifu further seethed in rage, not only from being interrupted but for the primate bringing up such a vision twice in a row.

"Master Monkey. Do you understand what type of implications could fall onto the Jade Palace if we allowed such things? The Sacred Onyx Council strictly prohibits relationships between other masters to maintain a professional environment when we're practising and now representing the teachings of the great Master Oogway… If the council were to find out about any relationships that are going on between any masters, especially those intertwining with the Dragon Warrior; our palace could face a hefty backlash from kung-fu masters across China!" Shifu snapped, Monkey's face fell as reality hit him.

"We wouldn't be allowed to do kung-fu again, would we?" Viper solemnly stated, Crane nervously gulped as he realised his feelings for the serpent could lead to his demise.

"Oh no, you'd still be allowed to do kung-fu. The Jade Palace would be heavily shamed and forced to pay reparations for several years for allowing such a thing to happen, I'm more worried about them approving the relationship instead of rejecting it."

"Wait, they can approve relationships?" Crane's eyes glimmered in excitement.

"Only relationships with the Dragon Warrior. If the circumstances are just right, the Dragon Warrior and the master he is having relations with must meet strict standards in order to bypass the rule dictating that the Dragon Warrior must surrender his title if he were to marry as well as negate the punishment inflicted upon the Jade Palace if an event of this magnitude were to take place. If they approve this relationship… the mental burden it would place upon my mind would be too much for me to bear, my daughter… marrying a panda," Shifu actually began to chuckle at his last statement. "That's a little bit funny, isn't it?"

"I could see so. I don't understand why you're so scared, master. With all due respect, Tigress and Po are practically made for each other. Have you seen how different she's been since his addition to the Jade Palace; it's almost like we're witnessing a completely different person!" Monkey voiced his opinion, causing the Grandmaster to clutch his staff as a way to avoid himself from shivering thanks to the vision induced by the primate.

"I.. I- I guess you have a point there. This is an inevitable step in Tigress's life. I doubt there's any other man suitable for her," Shifu agreed, although a distant yelp of sorts caught the attention of his ears.

"Did you hear something, Master Shifu?" Mantis commented in response to the sudden halt of Shifu's movement.

"Must've been a stray gust of wind," Shifu shrugged off the sound, although his nose picked up another scent. "Follow me and remain silent. I smell smoke," The elder red panda declared as they moved in the general direction of the smell; oblivious to what they would witness mere minutes later.

Back with Po and Tigress – The Forbidden Campsite...

"Whew! That's a big flame, we're bound to catch the attention of someone around here!" Po victoriously declared as he sat back on a makeshift chair he had forged from the freshly cut lumber.

"Well done, Dragon Warrior! I think my claws are going to permanently remain sharp after that workout with the lumber today," Tigress joked as Po began serving up some noodle soup; he had been allowing the ingredients to boil since his great conquest began to light the emergency fire.

"Order up! Strange circumstances I know but we're not out here to survive on berries and fruit… at least not yet!" Po's enthusiasm caused Tigress's heart to flutter to a slight degree.

Po gently handed the steaming bowl of noodle soup to Tigress alongside her chopsticks before walking to his own respective area of the campsite, although Tigress had a different idea.

"You know… it's getting cold- and dark. Would you mind if I-" Tigress was cut off by the soothing voice of the Dragon Warrior.

"Snuggle up with me again? I'm not complaining, your purrs can be soothing to listen to as I try to sleep during our missions."

"Wait… I purr whilst I sleep on you? How come you never told me this before?"

"I thought it was normal for felines to do that! I had plenty of experience with Song before you know…"

"You found her cheating on you, heck, she never even got a taste of the Dragon Scroll!" Tigress chuckled despite the fact she had made an inappropriate reference.

"Oh, don't worry. I let her read the Dragon Scroll, although she didn't fully understand it," Po responded, Tigress slapped herself on the forehead in awe of the panda's oblivious mind.

"Not like that, Po! I meant like… mature activities- agh, forget it-"

"Oh, so you mean the act that births wonderful people such as ourselves?"

Tigress pensively looked into her half-empty noodle bowl as the same tingling feeling from earlier suddenly struck her like she just ran into a wall of bricks, although she knew she had to provide a response.

"I'm surprised you know what that is…" Tigress replied, her warm smile being turned into one of mischievous intent. "Say, have you ever… you know, engaged in such activities before?" The feline's smile was turning into one only shown by the purest of lovers as she began to adventure through the glistening jade eyes of the Dragon Warrior.

"Eh, not really. Song and I never got that far in our relationship; if you could even call it that," Po anxiously replied, noting that he was also beginning to take a grand adventure through the burning embers that reflected from Tigress's eyes.

"Would you- would you like to?" Tigress nervously asked, her suppressed emotions from when she was a teenager began to rise to the surface.

"Tigress? Are you feeling okay?" Po anxiously stated, he began to flinch but it was already too late… Tigress already sealed her lips around those of the panda.

Po was initially reluctant of the advance Tigress made, fortunately for him, his male instincts soon took control of his movements and he turned into a seductive genius. His initial reluctance soon morphed into one of confidence as his lips melted into Tigress's, both breaking their seal after 3 minutes of passion.

"Does that answer your question?" Tigress stared a hole carved out of romantic passion and awe into the eyes of the Dragon Warrior, who kindly returned the favour.

"Of course, now please… follow me into the tent; I have some other talent to show you," Po flirtatiously responded as he and Tigress crawled into their makeshift tent, being sure to surround themselves with leaves in order to preserve whatever privacy that remained.

Po began to unclip the belt that surrounded his patched up shorts until it eventually popped, allowing his shorts to smoothly slip down his legs like a silk robe. His member was beginning to draw blood away from his brain in a selfish act to satisfy the feline sitting in front of him.

Tigress allowed herself to moan slightly as the panda slid his claw down the connection between her chest and the rest of her body that her golden hanfu was making. With one graceful flick of his claw, the hanfu untied itself from the feline's body, allowing it to drop to the floor with ease, revealing her feminine glory; meekly covered by her chest-wrappings and undergarments.

"It truly is time to embrace a different type of Inner Peace." Tigress flirtatiously moaned further as she unclipped her chest-wrappings, revealing her adequately sized breasts, which bounced across her torso as if they were two escaped convicts; longing to be freed for such a long time.

Tigress slipped her free paw around the panda's waist as she toyed with her left breast, allowing herself to slyly tug the backside of the Dragon Warrior's shorts, revealing a new type of Dragon Scroll once the shorts slipped low enough.

"It's time for you to feel the thund-" Tigress clasped a paw around the Dragon Warrior's mouth.

"I'm in control here… all I wish for you to express are your sounds of pleasure and appreciation for this body, especially when you have been longing for this for far longer than I have," Tigress commanded, although her stern tone was hidden by an unexpected rush of pleasure as Po slyly snipped the remainder of her undergarments, revealing her freshly moist slit.

"Understood… now it's time for the Dragon Warrior to breach the gates of the Amber Palace," Po whispered into Tigress's ear as he slowly slid his member into Tigress's moist cavern, silently taking note of how tight and lubricated her entrance was.

Po was only able to slide in 4 out of the 8 inches of his member before Tigress unleashed a slight mew of pain, he was ready to pull out but Tigress growled at him as an indication for him to show no mercy. After around 6 inches, her mews of agony turned into moans of pleasure as the Dragon Warrior began to 'bring the thunda' to her unexplored passage.

After a few thrusts, Po began to moan as a sensation of pleasure began to enter his senses, something he had never experienced before. Meanwhile, Tigress absorbed her first shock of pleasure as it began to stabilise… no heat was able to compare to the levels of euphoria she was currently experiencing; she even began to instinctively rub the hood that guarded her entrance. This action would send unrivalled amounts of pleasure across the feline's body.

As Po began to further pound the secondary kitten that Tigress wielded, he observed a consistently sticky liquid begin to escape from the site of entry… but he also noted a faint whispering in the distance. The Dragon Warrior temporarily broke his consistent thrusting, mildly infuriating the now vulnerable Tigress that sat on his member.

"Po! I don't want you to stop! Thrust harder; make me yours! - Predator meets prey, after all!" Tigress commanded as Po began to pick up the pace, although he felt as if he needed to make a comment.

"I don't mean to alarm you but it sounded like I could hear someone-" Po's mouth was hushed as a sense of pleasure unlike anything he had experienced before began to overwhelm his senses; his member was truly beginning to respect the adventure that it had been taken on.

"Who cares if they hear me~" Tigress was interrupted when a wave of pleasure resonated throughout her downstairs area, causing her to moan loudly. "I would happily take the embarrassment if it meant I got to experience THIS!" She finished, her voice being lost in a sea of pleasure experienced by both lovers.

The whispering approached closer until it abruptly stopped, although Po and Tigress were far away from complaining.

Back with Shifu and the others…

"What on earth is that sound?" Shifu questioned, he was beginning to panic as his worst nightmares came to the surface.

"I don't want to know, but- hey, wait a minute, I just found an entrance to a campsite, this is where the burning is coming from!" Viper victoriously declared as Shifu and the others made a sprint for the campfire and the tent responsible for all of those noises.

"You will stay right here and you will not move a muscle, I will investigate," Shifu commanded, his voice dropping into a whisper. His students merely nodded as they walked to a nearby tree.

Shifu crept closer towards the tent, not wishing to alert whoever was inside. His blood was beginning to boil as he heard the phrase "PO! I'VE BEEN A NAUGHTY TIGRESS, PUNISH ME HARDER!" - Master Shifu's patience wore out as he ripped down the leaves surrounding the entrance; the scene made him feel violently sick.

As he pulled down the leaves, it was revealed that Po and Tigress were in the middle of conducting an extremely passionate act. The Dragon Warrior froze alongside his movements whilst still having his Dragon Scroll contained within Tigress's forbidden slit.

"Uhh…" Po and Tigress both awkwardly stared into the eyes of one another before into the infuriated eyes of Master Shifu, but before the Grandmaster could even react; Tigress furiously hopped off Po's member and slapped Shifu across the face, sending him flying across the campsite as she retreated behind the naked panda.

"By Buddha!" Viper cried as she saw the Grandmaster hit the floor with force. "Are you alright?"

"No!" He shouted back violently.

"What happened?" Viper warmly asked.

"PO SLEPT WITH MY DAUGHTER!"

The end…

[A/N]

I know you're most likely questioning the… inappropriate scene between Po and Tigress, let me explain.

I had to get creative with the referencing of male/female reproductive organs. I'm unsure about the policies of this website and wanted to steer clear of referencing their scientific/informal names altogether.

I'm also convinced that I destroyed my own childhood whilst writing this as well as anybody else's if they dared to read to the end, although the learning experience has definitely helped me improve as a writer and I look forward to bringing more works out in the future.

Thank you all for reading through this attempt at writing a mature one-shot and I hope you all enjoy your day!
