Helen and Violet were practicing their powers. Helen was working on her elastic powers and Violet was practicing on her force fields, and invisibility.

"Alright Violet. Now I want you to hit the bullseye and try to do some gymnastics moves with it." Helen said.

"Okay Mom." Violet said as she did a walkover and a triple turn and shot a force field. But when she did she missed the bullseye.

"So close honey. You'll get it next time." Helen said.

"I'll never get it right." Violet said and sighed.

"You'll get it. Just wait."

"I've been waiting."

"It didn't take me a day to become Elastigirl. It took me days. Weeks. Even months to become Elastigirl. And when the time is right you'll be a great hero." Helen kissed her on the cheek as Violet smiled.

"Thanks Mom."

"You're welcome. Let's keep on practicing."

Helen and Violet kept on practicing as they did some handstands.

"Doing handstands makes your balance more advanced and you get to show off to your friends." Helen said as Violet was loosing her balance and fell.

"Dang it! I can't do anything right!" Violet said and crossed her arms. "And my powers suck!"

"Violet that's not true. You need more time to perfect it. And your powers are amazing. Incredible to be exact."

"Well when? I've been training for months ever since superheroes are legal and I'm not getting better."

"You're just a teen. Your body isn't ready just yet."

"I've fought crime with you and Dad and I've been getting better with my running, focus, and shooting. Why now I'm not getting better?"

"I wish I had an answer for you."

Violet started tearing up and said "Forget it!" And went to her room. Helen sighed and left her alone.

Helen came up to her door and knocked on it and said "Vi? It's Mom."

"Yeah?" Violet said behind the door.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm fine. I'm just upset."

Helen kneeled at the door and said "I know how you feel."

"You do?"

"Yep. When I first became Elastigirl before you were born I was teased because I was the new superhero. Saying since I'm a girl I won't do good like the rest."

"I didn't know."

"Yep. But luckily two people helped me out."

"Lucius and Dad?"

"Yep. Mostly your father. Lucius helped me with the bullying and Bob helped me with my training."

"That's good for you."

"Yep. But I know it'll get tough you just have to adapt to where you are in your life and keep pushing towards your goal. " Helen said as Violet started to cry. "Violet? Are you okay?"

"No. I'm not. Every time I'm at the NSA for training I get picked on because I have an advantage."

"What advantage?"

"Since I'm the daughter of Mr. Incredible they automatically assume I'm the best superhero because of my dad."

"That's not true. They don't know you that well. You're still training and you shouldn't care what they say about. What you need to care about is you. You can do it Vi. I believe in you."

Violet opened her door as Helen got up as she hugged Helen. Violet kept on crying as Helen comforted her.

"There there Vi. Everything's gonna be okay. Your powers are amazing. And so are you."

Helen wiped her tears as Violet hugged her.

"Thanks Mom."

"You're welcome. You wanna get back to practicing?"

Helen and Violet's stomach started growling as Violet said "How about some lunch first?"

"That's a good idea." Helen and Violet went downstairs as they had lunch.

While the girls had lunch Bob came up and said "Hey. There's the future Mr. Incredible! How's the training going?" Violet sighed and stopped eating.

"Is everything okay?"

"She's being picked on in the NSA saying that she has an advantage out of all the supers since she's the daughter of Mr. Incredible thinking she's the best one maybe because she inherited your strength."

"What? Violet why didn't you tell me?"

"Because I didn't want you to Mr. Incredible punch them."

"Well I'm not gonna do that. But I am going to give those supers a piece of their mind. If you mess with my daughter you mess with Mr. Incredible." Bob went upstairs, put his super suit on, got into the Incredibile, and drove to the NSA.

"Wanna keep on practicing?"

"Sure." They went out as Violet practiced her force fields.

"Okay Violet. Keep your eyes on the target and focus." Helen said.

"Got it Mom." Violet said as she focused and shot the bullseye.

"I did it. I did it!" Violet yelled out as Helen hugged her.

"I knew you could do it Violet. I'm so proud of you."

"Thanks Mom."

"Looks like all you needed is some confidence."

"Yep. That's all I needed."
