Byakuya Togami woke up late one night. It was around 1:20 AM and he decided to head to the library to read something. Considering the current situation there isn't really much else to do when you're up this early. He left his dorm room and walked down the hall when he noticed Kyoko Kirigiri's doorknob moving. Why is she up this early? Togami thought to himself. The blonde got closer to the door.

To his surprise he didn't see a lavender-haired girl leave the room, he saw his classmate Makato and he looked awfully suspicious. The boy was carrying his iconic jacket balled up in his arms, he was sweaty and looked very nervous. But what was most concerning was a small amount of blood on his hand and some on his jacket too. They were currently in a killing game and the scene in front of him was more than a red flag.

"Naegi. What are you doing." He asked his voice full of seriousness. If Togami's suspicion was correct he wasn't sure what he'd do. "U-uh T-Togami? Why are you-" Makato was promptly cut off, Byakuya was taking none of this. "Answer me. What were you doing in her room? Why is there blood on your shirt?" Makato looked horrified. Had he really killed Kirigiri? "I uh-" the boy was frantic. I never thought Makato had it in him to kill someone. Especially Kyoko. Was he really that desperate to get out of here? "Naegi tell me what you were up to or I'm going there-"

"Wait no!" Makato nervously cut him off and blocked the door with his body. "Naegi. Why are you blocking the door? Is there something you have to hide in there? "T-technically not?" He was starting to make less and less sense. "What do you mean!?" This situation grew more and more irritating by the minute. "Okay, that's enough of this, did you kill Kyoko?" Naegi promptly stopped blocking the door to look at him dumbfounded. "Kill her?! What?" The boy looked utterly confused. "Did you kill Kyoko Kirigiri?" Togami repeated the question. "No! Why would I do that?" Then what...

"If you didn't kill her then why is there blood on you? And why did you look so suspicious when you left?" The brown-haired boy froze. "...yeah about that" there was a very long awkward pause before he spoke up again. "We were uh...doing 'it'..." he muttered shyly looking the other way. Oh. Byakuya thought to himself. He now regretted prying too much. "...and a little bit afterward...I...got a nosebleed...so I was on my way to the laundry room to toss my jacket in the wash so I could get it later." That explains it, and definitely a better answer than what I was thinking. "And to answer your other question, technically I don't have anything to hide but Kiri probably does-"

"I get it, please stop talking." The man in glasses promptly walked away.

The minute he turned the corner the door behind Makato opened. "I was gonna come out and help you deal with him, but it seems you have under control" she chuckled.

A few nights later something similar happened. Togami woke up and headed towards the library. And on his way, he heard a door opening. Except for this time, it was Naegi's doorknob moving. It opened slowly as Kyoko stumbled out of the room quietly with her clothes looking a mess. She and Togami locked eyes for a good 30 seconds. "I don't even want to know," he said as he walked away.
