Edited 4/28/21 for various reasons, including hiding a secret that some readers may already found out.
Dawn broke over Hyrule Castle Town and a sleepy child was still asleep in a big room.
As if on cue, a woman walked in. She had on a pink dress.
"Faron!" called the pink lady. "Time to get up!"
The girl pulled the covers over her head, refusing to get up.
"You know your sisters always tell me to get you up at this time," the pink lady coaxed.
The green girl sat up. "Alright, Emma!" she yelled.
Emma laughed. "Here's your red Kinstone Piece for your pay!"
The woman called Emma placed half of a red stone in her hand.
"Your sisters should be here shortly, Faron," Emma said before leaving the room.
"The name's 'Farore'," the girl thought in her head. 'I'm an Oracle, for crud's sake!'
Farore had green puffy pigtails wrapped in yellow lace. Her dress was green with blue lace and blue armbands. She had brown boots and brown pants and fair skin.
She heard a knock on the door.
"Farore!" a voice called.
'Oh, no'! Farore thought. 'Emma's figured me out!'
"It's Nayrue and Din!" called the voice once more.
"NAYRUE!" called another, angrier voice.
Farore smiled, then quickly frowned. "Coming!"
Farore got out of bed and answered the door.
"Hi, Din! Hi, Nayrue!"
Farore said "Din" as she looked at a girl in red and "Nayrue" as she looked at a girl in blue.
The girl in red had a long, red hair, red dress, golden bangles on her arms, a golden hair accessory, a blue zipper on her dress, red lace tied around her legs with red shoes and dark skin.
She carried a gold and blue rod.
The girl in blue had long, blue hair, a blue dress and a deeper blue skirt, golden head, neck, and arm jewelry, blue shoes and also fair skin.
She carried a harp that was half red, half blue, with five golden strings and golden feathers.
Din frowned. "Remember, ladies, we must hide our identities at all cost. To the outside world, we are 'Dawn', 'Rune' and "Faron". NOT 'Din', 'Nayrue' and 'Farore'".
"But I hate having to hide who I am!" Farore yelled. "If everyone knew we were the Oracles of Hyrule, they'd treat us like queens!"
"I don't actually mind," said Nayrue. "I like having my freedom in the life if a peasant."
"Exactly!" Din agreed. "We already decided this. Having guards around would only make things worse. We'd be followed around everywhere we went."
"Even though Princess Zelda offered us protection AND money?" Farore asked.
"That money is for our parents who are retired, and we can't sell our jewelry because they're gifts from them!" Din reminded.
"Yes, Farore, we can make money by Din's dancing, my harp playing and your Kinstone fusing," Nayrue reminded further.
"I wish I could be of more help," Farore lamented.
Din and Nayrue looked at each other.
"Why not come watch us in the town square today?" Din asked.
"You mean it?!" Farore literally jumped for joy.
"Sure thing!" Nayrue added.
"You can't participate, though. Just watch. You're a little too young to work for living, after all," Din pressed.
"But my Kinstone-" Farore was cut off.
"-Is hardly a job at all. You know we send Ralph to get our treasures from Kinstone fusing, anyway," Din explained.
"You mean Nayrue's boyfriend?" Farore teased.
Nayrue's face went red. "It's not like that!" she squeaked.
Din gave a hearty laugh. "Let's go, ya little trouble maker!" she said to Farore.
Din and Nayrue were almost out thr door when Farore realized she had almost forgotten something.
As she opened up a drawer, she said, "I'll never leave without you, my 'Book of Secrets!"

As the three sisters walked through town, Farore noticed a red house.
"That's were you live, right, Din?" she asked the fiery girl.
"Yes, and there's a blue one somewhere else close by that Nayrue lives in, You can't have your own house because they're too small for an extra person and you have to have adults in your life to take care of you," Din explained.
"Shouldn't we tell her, now?" Nayrue whispered in Din's ear.
"Nah, lets wat until it's over. She's very impatient, you know."
"What do you mean, 'impatient'?" Farore put her hands on her hips.
The older sisters looked at each other.
"You'll know soon enough," Nayrue assured.
They had finally made it through the center of town. They all laid out a mat
Din raised her voice among the crowd. "Ladies and gentlemen! Presenting the musical styles of Dawn and Rune!"
Farore watched as Nayrue played her harp beautifuly while Din moved her body like water.
Farore felt like something was rising up in her body. Something inside that couldn't be put out.
Then a group of children surrounded her.
"Hi, Faron!" one of the children called. "Can you please read us a book, again? We brought one from the library for you!"
This child had on a yellows shirt, brown pants, blue boots and an apron on top, so Farore thought he worked at the local bakery.
"Sure thing, Fred!" Farore said in response.
Farore sat several yards away from the mat so they wouldn't be disturbed and the kids gathered around her and sat in a circle.
"'The Girl with no Talent'," Farore read.
Farore's heart sunk. 'This is just like me!' she thought. 'Din and Nayrue have all the talent.'
Farore read further about the girl who went on a journey and tried all sorts of new things in order to grow and change.
But the last page of the book was ripped out.
"Aw, no ending?" the child, Fred, cried.
"We'll read another book next time," Farore assured.
"Okay," said all the children in unison.
"Now, I have to return to my sisters. You kids be good, now, okay?" Farore bid.
"You got it, Faron!" said Fred.
Farore ran back to her sisters, but then dropped both "The Book of Secrets" and "" The Girl with no Talent ".
She looked back to see Fred picking up one of the books.
"I got it!" Fred called as he picked up a book. "I'll put it back in the library!"
Farore nodded, picked up the other book without looking then continued on.
When she got there, the other oracles were just about finished, tired from their work.
Then Farore felt the feeling she had before and was about to lift her voice, but then she dropped the book she had then.
"'The Girl with no Talent?!'" she read in fear. "We have to go! Now!"
"What is it?" asked Nayrue.
Farore got close enough to whisper to the both of them.
"'The Book of Secrets' is in the library!"

Din ran so fast to the library, she almost kicked the door in. Almost.
"Din!" Nayrue cried. "Control yourself!"
"I can't help it Our most important item is in danger! And it's all HER fault!" Din pointed at her youngest sister.
Farore frowned. Nayrue placed a hand on her shoulder.
"She doesn't mean it," Nayru said. "She's just angry."
Din approached the desk. She noticed a card with words on it.
"'Out to lunch'," she read. "Now what?!"
"Maybe I can help," said someone behind a book shelf. It turned out to be Fred. "Two people came in here and read that thing, too. Then they saw me and took the book out of my hands. I'm so sorry! That book must've been important to you!"
"It's not your fault," Farore told him. "I'm the book's owner. I guess the only thing we can do is return the book we have here."
"We better," Din said.
"We will!" Nayrue said.
'And hopefully find my talent!' Farore thought.

"We finally have it!" A man said as he held "The Book of Secrets" aloft.
"Now Link and those pesky Oracles can't stop us!" said a woman.
Both cackeled, and as the two made their plans, the Oracles knew who they were up against, but the power was the stuff of their nightmares.
