Episode 1 of TD: LV, woohoo! Whole new season, let's see what will happen in part one!
Just know, it is really long for Part 1.
Episode 1 - Start of the Season (Part 1)
"On the last season of Total Drama All Around," Chris spoke as he stepped out of the revolving doors. "One of our two finalists ended up being the winner. It was pretty wicked to be honest. But neither of them are competing this season! Yup, we do not have the Total Drama All Around Again finalist appearing this season!"
Looking up at the sky, Chris flicked on a pair of sunshades. "But now we are in Las Vegas! The City of Sin! Infamous for mobs and criminals! The City of Lights. Gambling Capital of the World! The Entertainment Capital of the World! Or simply - Vegas."
Chris laughed as a limo pulled up and Chef stepped out of hit, wearing sunglasses of his own. "Now, we got a whole new cast of different ages here ready to compete. What crimes will these newbies do? Who will make or break? Will someone bring in the romance? Will someone go out in a burst of flames? Who will be enemies and who will be allies? Who will win the one million dollars? Will everyone be able to survive this... whatever you call this season?"
"Chris, why are you here and not at the place that Sephiria had built?" Chef asked him.
"Because they were still finishing up the front!" Chris complained. "I can't do an intro where there are gardeners going back and forth planting stuff. I tried, got hit by small palm trees three times. Three times!"
"Alright, calm down," Chef spoke, folding his arms.
"Anyways," Chris continued. "Like Hollywood, we got music involved in this season! And to let everyone know, this is the first episode and someone is expected to go home, out of all the newbies or veterans who will be the first to lose? Find out-"
There was the sound of an explosion and they heard someone shouting out "HI CHRIS" in a happy shout.
"SHE BLASTED HERSELF! INTO THE LIMO NOW!" Chris shouted, jumping in to the limo with Chef and telling the limo driver to get them out of the area. At that point, there was a loud crashing sound and the two looked out the window to see all the smoke in the air where Chris and Chef had been standing at.
Dear Mom and Dad I'm doing fine (A camera zooms in on Brett who is currently fixing another camera and he glances away for a second; at that moment Erin plugs something in and the camera explodes on them both).
You guys are on my mind. (Shion is seen reading over some music lyrics in a recording booth with Lloyd on the other side; Shion puts on the headphones as Lloyd plugs in a cord and he is instantly shocked, quickly Lloyd runs into the room to apologize to him).
You asked me what I wanted to be (Buck is seen fixing up a motorcycle and a spray of paint flies onto him as the camera pans out to see Quinn holding a can of spray paint; but Buck laughs it off).
And now I think the answer is plain to see, (V and Capone were seen tied back to back with wide smiles on their faces as Chef, angry and red in the face, slams a large pot before them).
I wanna be famous (Antoinette and Chelsea are seen on stage doing poses before Laverne shoved them aside and struts with a perfect smile on her face).
I wanna live close to the sun, (Mikata was seen meditating before being startled by Mork mixing his EDM music out loud nearby him).
Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won. (Vernon is seen writing a song before Jacob pulls it from him to read the lyrics for approval, but Charlize snapped it out of his hands with a growl on her face).
Everything to prove nothing in my way, (Luna was seen at a computer, a smirk forming on her face as glowing green smoke formed around her).
I'll get there one day. (Vivian was seen practicing a gymnastic routine, but slipped on a towel that she left on the mat with an embarrassed look on her face).
Cause, I wanna be famous! (Shane was seen opening a box full of fireworks and quickly running off with them before a crew member caught him).
Na na na, na na na, (Yves was seen going behind a large screen as a light turned on, her shadow visible on the screen as she began dancing).
Na na na, na na na, na na na! (Quinton was seen looking at a computer, typing in some numbers before it short circuits on him and he switches to pen and paper).
Na na na, na na na,(Rival is seen running after crying Erin down a long hallway but he blinks, sees that she wasn't there and slumps down a wall his hands covering his face).
Na na na, na na na, na na na! (Quaoar was seen battling off some remote control fight robots with his swords and yawns as they were too easy for him until one comes out with chainsaw attached or its arms; grinning with anticipation for this fight).
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous (Mag and Chris were seen arguing with each other and she roughly shoved him away, bolting out of the area with an angry look on her face while leaving him worried/frustrated).
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous! (Black and white cutouts of different creatures and people scroll on the screen of who was to appear on the season).
(Whistling in tune, the contestants are seen hanging out around a lounge pool area. Chef and Chris appear soon enough, but everyone is startled/fleeing/anticipating a fight by the exploding sounds of fireworks before a camera zooms in on a table top with TDLV carved onto it).
Chris and Chef pulled up in the limo to the location of the newest season. They could see the pale grey stone wall before them as they stood in front of a baroque style gate that had a statue of the three-headed dog Cerberus on either side, as they stuck their heads out the windows. Along the stone wall were large, single statues of Poseidon, Zeus and Hera, Apollo and Artemis, Persephone and Hades, and Demeter.
"Wow, Greek theme much?" Chris spoke.
"Sephiria wanted this place to be diverse," Chef spoke back to him. "Come on, let's check the outside of this place already."
"Driver go forward!" Chris called out as the gates opened up and the limo resumed driving.
"These are the plants that I kept getting hit with while trying to do the intro here," Chris spoke as his mouth twitched into a frown while his yes glared at the plants. The limo circled around a large fountain before they pulled up a towering building in front of them. The first floor had to be two stories tall as the floor to ceiling windows didn't show a dividing floor. The floors above it, was a max ten floors thus putting the whole building up to being eleven or twelve stories tall.
"So, this is the main hotel area," Chris spoke.
"Yup," Chef answered. "Sephiria said after this season, this place will be open for everyone."
"So, closed now because of the competition? And are the teen staying here?" Chris asked.
"And also some construction on the floors isn't done," Chef spoke. "There are miniature hotels in the back."
Chris nodded his head and glanced towards the right. There was a building with a windowless floor with an upper floor up covered by windows that was attached by a long hallway area with windows that ran the length of the walls.
"So, is that the dance hall? What was it called again?" Chris asked.
"The Glass Hall, inside first floor entirely covered with mirrors," Chef said to him while rolling his eyes. "To the left of the hotel here is the main performance hall. There are also outdoor performance areas as well."
"How big is this property?" Chris asked Chef.
"I think she expanded on it," Chef spoke. "Sephiria didn't give me the new land size."
"Wow, we are going to be losing the contestants here," Chris laughed. "This is going to be fun."
"Well, we better introduce the contestants," Chef spoke. "They're arriving."
Looking behind him, he saw the sleek black cars individually driving up.
"Let's do this!" Chris happily spoke, a smirk forming on his face before it fell off. "Wait, do you know who's here?"
"Sephiria emailed you the list on your phone," Chef said. Chris nodded his head and pulled out the phone, he also took not that they were arriving in random order but had car numbers. Looking at the cars, he saw the numbers on the windshield and smiled.
"I need a megaphone," Chris spoke and an intern ran up to him and gave him one.
"Arriving is the first contestant car of the season, number five, we have - Vernon!" Chris shouted through the megaphone so that way the contestants could hear him.
Vernon stepped out of the car - a teen standing 5'10, pale and had deep blue eyes with short dark brown hair that was neatly combed back, wearing a black shirt and pants with a blue jacket on and wearing black running shoes.
"Oh, uh, hi," Vernon spoke, giving Chris a small wave. The driver pulled out his bags and handed them to Vernon before getting back into the car and driving off.
"Just stand off to the side here near the garden," Chris spoke. Vernon nodded his head and did as he was told.
Chris then returned to using the megaphone, "Car number eight, please welcome Lloyd!"
"Hello Total Drama!" Lloyd happily shouted out as he went to the car trunk before the driver did; he was 6ft tall, had olive skin, narrow red eyes and messy-shaggy like hair that was pulled into a ponytail. He wore black tank top that had a skull and cloud design on the center, a loose black haori, blackish-grey loose-baggy sweatpants, dark grey everyday sandals. He had a scar running under his eyes and over his nose, another scar was kind of visible except it was mainly covered by an eyepatch on his right eye, there was a slight stubble on his face, a cross tattoo on the center of his throat while on his chest you could barely see a set of wings and a sun rising behind the wings showing on his chest. His multiple black earrings on both of his ears shined in the bright sunlight.
"I'll get my bags, dude, don't worry about it," Lloyd told the driver; throwing a wink at him in the process. "Sup, Chris."
"Please stand over there next to Vernon," Chris spoke through the megaphone. "Following Lloyd we have car number nine and inside is - Brett! Wait, he actually joined?"
Brett stepped out of car number nine. He had brown eyes, short reddish-brown hair that was a mess, tan skin and a slight stubble on his face as he stood roughly about 5'4. He wore a greyish-black unzipped vest over a green short sleeve shirt, dark blue jeans and black sneakers. His left wrist had a heartrate monitor watch.
"Hi, Chris," Brett spoke while in the back of his mind he was mentally cursing at himself. He had thought Sephiria was going to do this but thought wrong.
"Just stand next to Lloyd and Vernon," Chris spoke, not bothering with the megaphone as the driver gave Brett his stuff. Brett just nodded and went over to them.
"Following Brett, please welcome Luna in car twelve," Chris spoke through the microphone.
"Thank you for the welcome," Luna spoke as she suddenly appeared next to Chris; this made Chris freak as he stared at the girl next to him. She had pale beige skin, bright green eyes and stood close to being 5'10, her light brown hair was done in slight waves that barely grazed past her shoulders. She wore light blew sweater over a grey skirt and had white flats on.
"P-Please join the boys," Chris spoke as she walked away. The guys looked at her as she sat down on one of her luggage cases that somehow appeared next to them.
"Alright, next we have Mork in car seventeen," Chris said through the megaphone. "What kind of name is that?"
"Uh... hi," Mork spoke as he stepped out of the car he was in. He had beige skin, brown eyes and appeared at 5'10 with medium length hair that covered his right eye that was dyed green. He wore a blue shirt that had an image of a knife appearing to stab him in the stomach, dark blue jeans and black sneakers; he had a piercing on his nose, and two piercings on each of his ears. He just kept his mouth shut and got his stuff before walking over to the others.
"Wow, talk about lame," Chris said through the megaphone. "Up next is car 14 with - oh no."
There was a loud blast that startled everyone and they saw someone go flying past Chris in a ball of fire and smoke, before landing in the fountain. The person instantly sat up and everyone stared at her.
"Aww, I need to fix those ejector seats," The girl complained out loud.
"Please welcome Erin..." Chris spoke. Erin was seen wearing a red tank top with a white lab coat that was burnt and torn on, with white jeans had that some ash stains on them now and white sneakers, on her head were cracked safety goggles and she had a satchel slung over her shoulder. She had pale skin, hazel colored eyes and blonde hair that hit her hips that was also burnt.
"PLEASE GO STAND BY THE OTHERS! AND DO NOT DO ANYTHING ELSE!" Chris shouted through the megaphone at Erin.
"Okay, okay, calm down!" Erin spoke, walking over to the others moments after the driver put her stuff over there. The boys stepped away from her, but Luna just smirked at her while Erin looked off in a completely different direction.
"Car 15 has pulled up, please welcome Quaoar!" Chris said through the megaphone.
Quaoar silently stepped out of his car, his soulless black eyes squinting at the bright sunlight. He had short black hair and extremely pale skin; he wore a black shirt, black pants and shoes and a black zipped up hoodie with a hood up. He had a black scarf around his neck and two swords strapped on to him.
"Right fun..." Quaoar muttered under his breath.
"Seriously, Sephiria allowed you to bring weapons?" Chris asked him and he just shot a glare at him. Chris simply took a step away from him before holding up the megaphone again. "Alright, up next we have in car number 4 - Capone!"
Capone didn't exit the car for a moment, so Chris walked over and knocked on the glass. Instantly, the window shattered.
"What the heck? Do you know how much this will cost?" Chris cried out as Capone laughed. Within the next moment, they all saw the actual car door window being rolled up before Capone stepped out.
Stepping out, everyone stared at Capone. He had slightly tan skin, dark brown almost shaped eyes, stood at 5'11 and dark brown hair that was neatly swept back; on is neck some scars were visible. He wore dark blue jeans, a chocolate colored polo shirt and black trainers.
"Hello everyone, who's ready to have some fun?" Capone spoke as he walked by Chris, popping a party popper on him.
"Seriously?" Chris called out while the contestants laughed at what Capone pulled on Chris.
"Ugh, up next we have in car number 13 with...," Chris paused for a second and stared at the name making sure he read it right. "Mag."
"Mags here!" Erin happily shouted.
Mag stepped out of the car that she was and glared at Chris. She had pale peach skin, her brown hair was now streaked with dark teal highlight and styled in waterfall braid, her bangs shoved over her brown right eye while revealing her grey left eye now; she stood at 5'2 but her shoes added four inches to her height. She wore a black off the shoulder three-fourth sleeve shirt with a silver Aztec design on the bottom of her shirt, a black skirt with some silver paint splatters on it, teal wristbands and black knee-high platform boots. Her right ear had a two small loop earrings while her left ear had a clasp earring.
"Hi," Mag muttered under her breath as she took her stuff and walked over to the others; where moments later Erin quickly hugged her and began jumping up and down.
"I thought we agreed you weren't going to be on the show," Chris called out on the megaphone.
"Screw you!" Mag shouted at him and he looked away from her; the look on his face showed that he was telling himself to give her some space.
"Up, next," Chris spoke through the megaphone, "Car 18 - Charlize."
Charlize stepped out of the car with a stern look on her face. Her skin was cream-like, with hazel brown eyes and she stood at 5'9; her dirty blonde hair was long and straight. She had on a long white sleeve blouse that had the sleeves rolled up, a black pencil skirt and black Mary Jane shoes on. Seeing her, immediately caught Vernon's attention and he couldn't look away from her.
"Wow, someone brought in the corporate woman," Chris spoke through the megaphone.
"Excuse me? To have you know, I run a very successful clothing store, thank you very much," Charlize snapped at Chris. "Unlike you, I have a better reputation."
"Yeah, yeah, just go stand over by the others," Chris told her and she walked off without saying another word to her as her luggage was set down next to her. "And up coming is car 6 with Quinn!"
Quinn jumped out of the car and stretched a small bit. She had ivory skin, grey eyes and stood at 5'2 but her shoes added two more inches to her; her dark brown hair was done in an asymmetrical style with the left side being cut short while the right side reached her chin and the tips were dyed red. She wore a dark pink crop tank top under an asymmetrical white shirt that had pink paint splattered on it, black hip length jacket with the sleeves rolled up to her elbows, black skinny jeans and black ankle boots that had a star pattern on one side of them near the tops.
"Hi, everyone!" Quinn happily spoke, "SO AMAZING TO BE HERE! I can't wait to show everyone some cool art skills."
"Thanks, do that when we are doing a challenge," Chris spoke. "Now get with the group."
Rolling her eyes, she walked over to the others and gave them all a friendly smile.
"Arriving is car 16 with Chelsea," Chris quickly introduced.
She cleared her throat a time or two before talking, her head jerking a small bit. "Hello," Chelsea happily spoke to them. She had rose-beige skin, sea green eyes and stood at 5'3, with perfect wavy dirty blonde hair that had seamlessly lighter blonde streaks mixed in that nearly reached her waist. She wore a thigh-high long sleeve silk dress that was in Northwestern purple, a black belt at the dressed that tightened the dress with a gold butterfly pattern buckle. She had black leather knee-high boots with gold decal that matched the belt, around her neck was a complex gold pendant that showed off an emerald while her face had subtle makeup on.
"Talk about classy," Chris commented.
"Thank you," Chelsea spoke; holding back an urge to make a sound after she spoke. She remembered her manager telling her to keep it under control as no TV star would speak and make strange sounds unless it was for a part.
Chris simply ignored her and moved on to the next contestant, "Here we are with car 2 - Valarie!"
Valerie stepped out of the car and shot a glare at Chris, "Only my friends can call me Valarie. You can call me V," she snapped at him.
V was seen wearing a Greenday shirt, ripped black jeans, a black beanie and sneakers. Skin was sun-kissed tan that made her green-blue eyes stand out, and brown hair that was long and straight just about around her hip area.
"Nice to be here, we're going to have some wicked fun!" V spoke out as she walked over to the other teens. Erin quickly hugged her and started to talk to V of how much fun their were going to have.
"After V's car, we have car three with Vivian," Chris called out with the megaphone.
"Hello," Vivian spoke in a shy voice. In the back of her head, she could hear her mother's voice telling her to straighten up, show off and talk louder. She had on a white skater skirt, black tights, white flats and a pink long sleeve shirt that cling to her; her skin was light ivory, stood about 5'2, had wavy black hair that reached her lower black and hazel eyes that didn't seem to be genuine. Her ears had simple silver stud earrings, red lipstick and winged eyeliner on.
"Go stand over with the others," Chris spoke through the megaphone. "Simple as that."
Nodding her head, the driver handed her luggage before driving off and she walked over to the others.
"Up next, for those who this person in car 1 we have Yves," Chris spoke out.
Yves casually stepped out of the car and looked at the people around her. Her black eyes stood off from her ivory skin as her black hair shined from the sunlight, the wind barely blowing her chin length side bangs around her face. She had sleeveless cross-strap white top on that was tucked under a navy blue skirt that had a matching belt, all under a see-through cream cardigan with elbow length sleeves. She had on dark blue sandals, a silver butterfly necklace with matching earrings and natural colored makeup on her face.
Her eyes glanced over everyone, "A pleasure to meet you all," Yves spoke as she walked over to them.
"Arriving is car seven with Laverne," Chris spoke out on the megaphone as she sauntered out of the car; brown hair that was side-swept to the left side of her head with caramel highlights that reached mid-back, sapphire blue eyes, amber skin and she stood about 5'7. She had on a navy blue wide-leg jumpsuit that almost had a deep v-neck and no sleeves, a white sash was tied around her waist to show off her hourglass figure while on her feet were white sling-back dress heels. Around her neck she had on a multi-strand necklace with black pearls spaced out on it, silver teardrop earrings that had black pearls on them, and a silver cuff on her right wrist that had a black pearl and sapphire design on it.
She walked past Chris on his left, flicking her hair and making it hit his face. Blinking for a second, Chris wasn't sure how to respond to it exactly but decided to move on to the next arriving contestant. "Here we are with car 20 and stepping out is Quinton!"
Quinton came out of car 20 with while putting a mystery book into a bag that he had on him. He had dark skin and black eyes while his height was perfectly at six feet, his black hair was a short buzzcut style that suited him well. For clothes, he wore a green sweater with black sweatpants and green shoes.
"Well, this season is going to definitely have some rather interesting theories to predict," Quinton spoke.
"Oh my god! What theories do you have about me?" Erin happily called out, hugging his arm in the process. Mag, she instantly pulled Erin off of him.
"Ignoring that," Chris spoke through the megaphone, "Please welcome car 10, Mikata!"
Mikata nervously stepped out of the car, looking at the other contestants before him. Mikata had warm ivory skin, blue eyes and white hair that was messy and spiked with bangs that were curved towards the right above his right eye. For clothes, he had on a blue shirt with a black collar, a light black unbutton knitted jacket with vertical stripes of the same color but could still be seen, blue jeans and black slippers that doubled as everyday shoes. He had glasses on, two red clips that formed an "X" in his hair and one more below it.
"H-hi," he quietly spoke as he was handed his stuff and walked over to the others.
"Following behind car 10 we have car 23 with Shion," Chris called out to the megaphone as the car approached.
Shion casually slipped out of the car with a relax look on his face as he stared at his fellow castmates. He stood roughly five ten, with light skin and lilac eyes that shined in the sunlight. His blonde hair was shaggy like, being longer in the back as to where stopped around his chin dyed cobalt blue with the ends of the left sides of his bangs that covered the left side of his face ending in a shade of violet. He had on a purple hoodie that was decorated with black lines and x's, the inside having a rainbow pattern; his shirt was blue fading into purple tank top with black dots and splatter that made it look like he had been painting, he had on ankle grey joggers and white-and-purple sneakers. Around his neck was a necklace with a single gold star and a black wristband was on his right wrist.
"Behind car 10, we got car 19 with Shane inside," Chris's voiced boomed through the megaphone as Shane's car pulled up. He didn't step out of his car for a few seconds, but before Chris could approach the door window was instantly kicked out and Shane jumped out of the car.
"Woohoo! Freedom!" Shane shouted at the top of his lungs. He had on an oversized black jacket, with a white shirt underneath and black jeans that had a bit of a sag to them, as well as black shoes. His skin was a light ivory, he had grey eyes and stood a bit over six feet, while had messy black hair and a bit of a small un-styled mustache. His messy hair was pressed down by a red cap that had the word "Lumpknizz" on it.
Chris twitched a small bit and he instantly pointed for Shane to go to the next group.
"Car 22 has now pulled up with, Rival," Chris called out through the megaphone.
"OH MY GOD RIVAL IS HERE!" Erin screeched out at the top of her lungs full of excitement as Rival stepped out of the car.
Rival popped his neck for a second and stared at the crowd of contestants with his red eyes against his pale skin. His mostly down red hair with a single thick strand of black hair in the middle of his hair; the back of his hair reached his chin and spiked out small bit in the back. His white shirt stood out against his unzipped black hoodie and black jeans, and on his feet were red shoes.
"I'm the creator of the DRAMA!" Rival called out happily before being hugged tightly by Erin as he walked over to the group.
Chris's voiced boomed out again from the megaphone, "Please welcome from car 21, Jacob."
"Jacob. Ferdinand. Nearson," Jacob spoke as he stepped out of his car. He had somewhat pale skin, dark black eyes, brown hair that's combed back and gelled to give him a sense of cleanliness. He had on an dark blue polo shirt that had no creases, khaki pants that appeared freshly ironed, a brown belt and brown shoes. "And I plan to win with grace and the best reputation this show has ever seen."
"Say's the guy who's not even six feet," Chris commented while adding a laugh as he spoke through the megaphone.
"I am to six feet," Jacob commented back as he stood with the other contestants.
"Arriving car 11, please welcome Antoinette," Chris called out happily from the megaphone.
"Oh god, no not the drama queen," Mag muttered as Antoinette stepped out of the car. Her thick dark blue hair that reached a bit past her shoulders gleamed in the sunlight, while her dark blue eyes stood out on her cream skin; with quite a bit of make up on that greatly complimented her and added on to her beauty. She wore a white crop top that exposed her slim waist, a black flowing skirt that had a matching belt with it, on her feet were white sandals. Around her neck, she had on a heart necklace.
"Wow, you made me second to last, guess I wasn't good enough to show up last to make a better impression?" Antoinette spoke, throwing a wink at the boys. But she also got a few facial reactions from a couple of the girls as well; which she ignored.
"Meh, you didn't deserve last," Chris spoke to her through the megaphone. "But moving on from you to our final car number 24 with contestant Buck!"
Antoinette's Confessional Scene:
She was seen sitting on a cream color chaise with a pale gold design on it. The walls were white and there were three medium size (40"x26") panel paintings of three different dancers on the wall - a couple doing a tango, a ballerina performing a pirouette, and another couple doing a classical dance. To the sides of her were two ferns in white/gold Aztec designed pots.
"Can someone please take that thing away from him?"
There was a loud "yeehaw" and everyone saw Buck standing on top of the car as the driver had a freaked out look on his face. His hair was medium length and a dark dirty blonde where it was practically a mullet but with the sides shaved, his yes were a baby blue color and he had warm beige skin. Buck had on an unopened red flannel shirt over a white shirt, ripped blue skinny jeans a large brown leather belt and worn down brown boots on.
"Say hi to a cowboy MacGyver," Chris commented as Buck jumped off the car and got his bags from the car.
"Howdy y'all, fancy meeting ya," Buck spoke.
"Anyone got a screwdriver?" Erin asked, as she had a device in her hands and Buck handed her one that he pulled out from his boot.
"Okay, since we got everyone introduced let's get this tour started," Chris spoke ignoring the device Erin had. "The building that we are all standing in front of here is the main hotel. This is where none contestants and staff will be staying, so... guests, tourists, important people and... basically people not competing in the season get to stay here. But this is where the performance hall and the glass hall are at. It is where we will be doing some indoor performances, along with the gymnastics, ballet and dance, and the other stuff. There are also outdoor areas where we will also be holding challenges, so we won't be stuck inside all of the time."
The contestants seemed to have understand what Chris was talking about as he pointed at the building.
"Behind the building are two miniature hotels, " Chris continued talking to them, "one of them is a six story building with six rooms on every floor but ground floor. The other one is the same number of stories but a bit bigger with seven rooms on every floor but the ground floor. The ground floor has the confessional room, the place where you will be eating or hanging out when you need to plan for challenges or when there are no challenges going on. You guys will be staying in the smaller one of the two miniature hotels, the bigger of the two will be going to the crew and staff. Unless the crew or staff say otherwise."
"What do you mean otherwise?" Luna questioned Chris.
"The judges, there's a bit of tension between them right now and so they requested their own rooms, thus Sephiria put them in the main hotel here," Chris spoke. "I have no idea what their problem is yet. As for the rest of this place... I have no idea actually. Sephiria gave me a book but... I didn't read it. So, I don't have much knowledge about this place at all, except for what I said on the hotel, the main performance stage and your guy's room numbers."
Charlize pinched the bridge of her nose for a moment or two, then shot a glare at Chris.
"This is why you always read the paperwork," she snapped at him. "If you don't, you learn nothing of whatever task you or place you are to be handling!"
Chris's Confessional Scene:
Chris was seen sitting on a stone bench in front of a pond, a couple of koi fish swimming around it; trees were about along with bushes with small purple flowers on them.
"Talk about being snarky. I think we need to give her a good chill pill that can tone down her attitude by a hundred degrees."
Jacob's Confessional Scene:
"Looks like there is also someone else who likes to charge other than me. I'll be sure to destroy her game."
"Anyways, since we've kind of wasted some time you guys can explore the place on your own later," Chris spoke. "First, we need to head to the outside stage. Grab your things and let's go."
He got some mumbles from the teens and they followed after him through a small section of the hotel to an outside path that ran alongside the building. It wasn't long before they saw the outside stage. it was large, towering at most three stories tall. Completely made out of wood and concrete (with steel to be safe), decorated with vines growing on the backside of it with red, yellow and blue flowers blossoming on it; but from how it was positioned, it was set over water.
The whole stage, from the back to the flooring and the steps set up on multiple waterproof six inch wide circular columns that kept it from sinking. The contestants looked closer at the water and saw the lily-pads and koi fish swimming around; by the audience seats were containers that held koi food. On the wall that was connected to the stage, barely hidden behind green curtains was a large screen. Erin drastically leaned over the pool of water to get a better shot at feeding a koi fish when she instantly fell in scaring it away from her.
"Aww, come back!" Erin called out to the koi fish.
"The water for the stage isn't meant for swimming, it's like pond water," Chris pointed out to her. "Anyway, this is the main performance stage. Here you guys will be performing unless told otherwise. The large screen you see, you will be video while performing and to make sure the audience can see you and so the judges have an easier to see you as well."
There were some mummers from the contestants about this till Vivian spoke up.
"So, you'll be judging us?" Vivian asked, shyly.
Chris laughed a small bit at them. "Oh, I'm not judging you this season," he spoke.
Some of the contestants sighed in relief at this news.
But Chris was quick to speak up, "But these four women are, so ladies please come on out as I call your name. First up, we have our first judge from Hungary, Csilla!"
Csilla was the first to step out, out of the four judges she was the tallest standing at 5'9. Her purple eyes stood out on her peach skin, while her hair was done in an half-up/half-down style that reached a bit past her hip; the coloration starting from purple at the top of her head, going to blue, pale teal then a pale shade of electric blue. She had on a white mini-skirted dress (with the bottom ending in a scalloped pattern) that had a layered silver halter strap over her left shoulder that went over her chest and hung off her right arm with silver straps of fabric hanging but attached to the front of her dress; around her waist, and stopped at the sides of her waist, was a floor length overskirt that began with grey at the top and ended with white at the bottom with pale blue constellation designs. To top it off, she had a silver moon earrings, teal gladiator heels that stopped at her knees, silver cuffs on both arms that had three stars each on one side and gold beaded strands going through her hair.
"Örömömre, szolgál, hogy," Csilla spoke. "Sorry, it's Hungarian for "it is a pleasure". I like to speak in my native tongue."
"Following Csilla, please welcome judge number two - Steren," Chris spoke giving a small applause.
Steren was next to step forward; dark skin, gold eyes that held a bright shine to them, black braided hair that was wrapped up into a elongated bun that kind of curved towards the front of her head and decorated with a gold moon and gold stars on one side. She wore a plum colored asymmetrical, one-shoulder sleeved dress; the only sleeve was her right sleeve, which had a layered fabric effect to it as well as some gold stars set on it. The front of the dress skirt stopped at her knees but continued flowing on down to the floor, but mid-thigh down it was more see-through and had gold stars decorated through it. She had on
Chris soon spoke again, "And judge number three is Aster."
Aster stepped out onto the stage with a large smile on her face. She had tan skin, blue eyes and blonde hair that reached her shoulders and completely brushed to one side of her head with the ends being a shade of purple that complimented her perfectly. She had on a thick strap but sleeveless, deep plunging v-neck neck asymmetrical dress that started as purple but as the color hit her hips it transitioned into gold and into white at the edges, the front of the skirt stopping at mid-upper thigh and lengthened to floor length as it reached the floor; a single girl star on the right side of her dress and star bursts that were on the bottom of her skirts and in complimentary colors as the dress shifted in colors. She had two gold multi-star belts, one at her hips and one just below her chest, gold gladiator heels that reached her knees, gold earrings and a thick gold bracelet on her right wrist.
Aster stepped up next to Steren, placing an arm over Steren's and Csilla's shoulders.
"And finally," Chris spoke. "Danica, please come out to the stage as judge number four."
Danica stepped out onto the stage, winking at the contestants. She had tan skin that was a bit darker than Aster's, gold eyes, brown hair that was fluffy and in waves with light, thin streaks of brown highlights throughout. She had an celeste blue pantsuit on; the top half being similar to Aster's, thick straps and sleeveless and plunging into a deep v-neck, two multi-star belts one at her hips and the other just below her chest. The pant legs were wide with multiple gold stars that almost went up to her knees, on the fabric at her hips and around the gold stars were light turquoise stars. On her feet, were short black ankle boots that were opened toe and had gold-edges; the open part in a half-star shape. At the end of her hair were gold stars, a thick gold bracelet on her wrist and a multi-star choker around her neck that went a bit down her chest.
"Welcome to Total Drama Las Vegas, girls. Thank you for judging for the season," Chris spoke as Danica casually leaned up against Aster. "So, why don't you girls kick this season off with a song so that way these contestants have an example of what to expect for the challenge."
The four girls tightly smiled at each other and Csilla nodded her head at them as the music started to kick up as they put on small microphones that looped around their ears.
"Never really had a problem with you," Steren sang out.
"All along I thought our friendship was true," Aster sang as she and Danica got back to back.
"Put my trust in you right from the start," Danica sang out loud, stepping away from Aster.
"I never dreamed that you would be," Csilla sang stepping between Danica and Aster, "my enemy, the knife to take my heart."
"You screwed me in the perfect way," Aster sang as she jabbed her finger onto Csilla's chest.
"A friend betrayed," Csilla sang out, turning and taking two steps away from Danica.
Aster quickly picked up, "Just another mourner."
"Content to follow order," Csilla sang.
Sterren immediately picked up after Csilla, "Leave behind your conscience, abandon those who need you most."
"Convince yourself you're noble, but we both know it's not so," Danica sang, while doing an eyeroll.
"But if you cross my battle line, you'll find you'll be sorry that you tried," Aster sung.
"If it's war that you want, then you got it," Danica sang as she walked over to Aster.
"If it's pain that you want, then I brought what you need," Csilla sang as she spun to face Aster, anger in her eyes.
Aster quickly picked up, "If it's true what you say, you're the best then let's play. You won't believe it."
"Until you see it," Steren sang out, "when I kick you in the ass and look you in the eye."
Csilla picked right up after Steren, "With a smile and a cheerful heart, I'll turn to you and wave."
"Goodbye!" Aster belted out.
"I'll be honest I was pretty surprise," Steren sang as she got over and tried to put herself between Danica and Csilla.
"Turned from family to full on despised," Danica sang, quickly putting her face two inches away from Aster's.
"Just like you to take the coward's way out," Csilla sang, pressing her pointer finger over Aster's heart while pushing Danica away from her.
"A book of lies with no replies, this diatribe's story no doubt," Aster sang as she forcefully got right in front of Danica while shoving past Csilla.
"You knew the cruellest things to say," Danica sang, getting in front of and facing Aster.
"Then ran away," Aster sang, pointing at Sterren.
"Just like Judas thereupon kissed," Csilla sang as she walked away from the three.
Aster quickly caught up to Csilla, "Just a mindless weapon pointed at the enemy."
"A simple tool providing someone else the victory," Danica sang, facing towards her.
"Now that you've crossed my battle line, it's time that I blow your little mind!" Aster sang, jumping off of the stage into the five inch deep water and walked to the audience floor.
A guitar solo soon kicked and the other three girls headed towards the stage stairs to reach the audience floor where Aster was now stepping onto.
Aster soon resumed singing again, "Farewell my friend I must give you the credit. You achieved a goal."
"Perhaps the first time in your life you felt control," Steren sang as she got next to Aster, wanting to put her hand on her shoulder but dropped it immediately to her side.
Csilla came over to them while singing, "I'll never trust the same, I'll see friendship as just another ga-a-ame."
"Full of winners and losers," Aster sang.
"Selfish abusers," Danica belted out.
"You've failed to fly and somehow I'm to blame?" Aster sang.
"If it's war that you want, then you got it." Danica sung out.
Csilla picked up right after Danica, "If it's pain, then I brought what you need."
Aster sang once more, "If it's true what you say you're the best, then let's play. You won't believe it."
"Until you see it! When I kick your ass and look you in the eye" Steren belted out.
"With a smile and a cheerful heart, I'll turn to you and wave," Csilla sang.
"GOODBYE!" Aster sang, ending the song.
"Thank you ladies for the song," Chris spoke clapping.
"Thanks, us for do a pretty good job singing covers," Steren spoke as the four girls started to walk away; with a bit of weary smile on her face. "Can't wait to see how these contestants will do."
"Wait, we're all singing?" Charlize questioned Chris.
"Yup, you guys are all singing tomorrow night," Chris spoke to them.
"What genre are we singing? Do we get to pick our own songs?" Erin happily asked Chris, interrupting him.
"Let me get to it sheesh, no more interruptions," Chris spoke to them as Erin folded her arms with a bit of a huff but the smile quickly came back onto her face. "As I was saying before being interrupted, music wise, Sephiria sent you all a list of songs on the computers in your rooms."
There were a few murmurs of agreement and some of the contestants started to leave the area.
"HOLD IT!" Chris shouted at them and they all looked at him. "I'm assigning your partners."
There were groans from the contestants and some of them shot glares at him.
"You guys will be taking a song and making it into a duet," Chris spoke to them all. "After the duet songs are done, you guys will all be doing a group song. So, you all need to pick a single song to sing together as a whole."
Chris laughed a small bit at that prospect of them all singing as a group.
"And to let you guys know your solo performance will give the judges an overall opinion of you, then you will do the group song. The group song determines who the judges will be picking to eliminate," Chris told them; the contestants perking up at this news. "So, pick a song to sing with your designated partner and pick a song that everyone can sing together. Now get going to the miniature hotel that you guys are rooming at where the keys to your rooms are waiting for you.
"Wait, did he say something about partners?" Shane asked Chris, blinking back to reality after spacing out for a bit.
"Thank you for asking," Chris spoke while a few people threw a few glares at Shane, while Chris pulled out some papers from his shirt pocket. "These are the partners for everyone for this episode. Erin and Quaoar, you two are the first pair."
"Oh my god, we're going to have so much fun!" Erin shouted as she tried to hug Quaoar from the side, but she tripped on her own foot and landed flat on her face as Quaoar stepped away from her.
"ERIN!" Mag called out and helped her up from the ground, glaring at Quaoar for a second.
"Second grouping, Brett and Capone." Chris spoke and the two boys glanced at each other.
"Third group, Vernon and Yves," Chris spoke and Yves glanced at Vernon.
"Oh uh... hi," Vernon spoke as he gave her a small wave.
"Group four is made up of," Chris spoke, "Luna and Vivian."
Luna looked over to Vivian for what felt like eternity, making Vivian glance away from her.
"Antoinette and Shane, will be making up our fifth group," Chris said to them. Antoinette simply rolled her eyes at him.
"Fuck yes!" Shane shouted, jumping onto Antoinette, causing the two to fall to the ground.
"GET OFF OF ME!" Antoinette shouted as he ruffled her hair.
"Quinn and Mork, you guys are our sixth group." Chris called out over Antoinette and Shane, ignoring them. "Half ways done with making the groups."
"C-cool," Mork muttered under his breath.
"Sweet," Quinn said, putting an arm around his shoulders.
"Charlize and Mag, you guys are group seven." Chris spoke, giving Mag a look that they will be talking later. Mag just rolled her eyes while Charlize face gave off the feeling that she was going to take full charge.
"I will be picking the song," Charlize commented.
"And if I don't agree with the choice, will you be picking again?" Mag spoke before saying her next words louder. "My voice counts as well."
Charlize glared at her while Chris glanced away before looking back at the papers that he had.
"Chelsea and Quinton, congrats on making group eight," Chris told them.
"Strategically, we will need to find something that will work for the both of us," Quinton spoke.
"Let me lead and we'll be fine." Chelsea spoke to him.
"Mikata and V, you are officially our ninth group," Chris spoke.
Mikata nodded his head numerous time and V popped her knuckles.
"We'll do fine, we're going to rule this," V commented.
"Laverne and Lloyd, you guys make our tenth group," Chris told them both.
Laverne flicked her hair behind her shoulder giving Lloyd a rather bored stare.
"Hey, we can pull this off!" Lloyd happily spoke to her.
"Rival and Buck, you are officially the eleventh group," Chris spoke.
"Oh, heck yes!" Buck shouted as he and Rival high-five each other.
"Finally," Chris announced, "Shion and Jacob are our twelfth group for this episode. But one more thing before you guys can go off, your group number is also your order number of who goes first and such when performing. So, Erin and Quaoar, you guys are up first while Shion and Jacob will be last."
"Just don't mess up," Jacob spoke to Shion. Shion simply nodded his head at him, with a determined look in his eyes that he was going to do his best.
Erin's/Quaoar's Confessional Scene:
It was evident that Quaoar had been dragged in by Erin.
"Oh my god, we're going first! This is going to be awesome. I will be able to cheer Rival on!" Erin happily spoke out.
"Yeah... good." Quaoar spoke as Erin pulled out a small box.
"And I brought this to help him out with his electricity," Erin spoke. "Just need to tighten a screw or two."
Pulling out a screwdriver that Buck gave her, there was a small spark of electricity and a bit of smoke coming from the box. Immediately, Quaoar flipped himself over the couch as the box exploded on Erin.
"Oh, before you guys go," Chris spoke. "You guys don't get an individual room, so you are each bunking with one person."
"Wait, why don't we bunk with our duet partner?" Shion happily spoke, "It will be easy for everyone."
"I call on a room with Rival!" Erin happily spoke out as she spun towards Rival and accidently slammed herself into him, thus they fell to the ground. A few contestants rolled their eyes at her, while others tried not to laugh.
"Nope," Chris spoke. "Roommates have already been assigned. They are a separate thing from the duet partners."
"Aww," Erin cried out with a sad look on her face before perking up again. "But who knows, my roommate could be fun!"
"There will be empty rooms on the floors that you guys are staying on, so don't worry. Ground floor is not first floor, Sephiria went with the French way where in France you don't the ground level as a floor. So it's ground floor, then first floor," Chris spoke. "There will be no switching of roommates as who you are partnered with is final. Now, here are you're guy's roommates, room floor with number. Floor one, room three has Quinn and Brett. Room five has Shane and Mikata."
Mikata shifted himself as Shane gave him two thumbs up at this. Brett held his hand out for a high five and Quinn happily did so.
"Floor two, room seven has Erin and V, room nine has Vivian and Charlize, and room ten has Antoinette and Rival," Chris spoke.
"What stuff do you like to do? Do you like to build?" Erin asked V.
"I've done my fair share of being a mechanic," V answered.
"Oh my god! That's so cool! Have you built a motorcycle from scrap before?" Erin asked her, earning a nod from V.
"Are you fucking me?" Antoinette spoke, her eye twitching as she pointed at Rival. "I am not sleeping with him!"
"Yeah, fuck no." Rival spoke.
"All choices are final," Chris spoke before continuing. "Floor three, room eleven has Yves and Lloyd. Room thirteen is Mag and Laverne."
"God, no one better call me the Queen of Thirteen," Mag muttered under her breath, realizing that thirteen was slowly becoming a theme for her.
"Come on," Shane spoke putting an arm around while messing up her hair with his free hand causing her to growl at him (which he ignored), "thirteen isn't sooo bad. Thirteen can lead to the craziest of things!"
"Oh... okay," Lloyd quietly commented as Yves narrowed her eyes a small bit at Chris.
"It better be a good room," Laverne snapped at Chris.
"Floor four, room seventeen has Chelsea and Capone. Room nineteen has Mork and Jacob. Room twenty is for Vernon and Luna," Chris spoke out loud ignoring them. "Jeez, this stuff is exhausting. Why am I left with it?"
"Because Sephiria wanted you to," Luna spoke, appearing next to him and making her hair hit him in the face. "Not my fault that you're terrible."
There were a few laughs while some people stared at Luna a bit surprised that she somehow appeared next to Chris again without them noticing.
"And now floor five," Chris spoke with an annoyed voice and face. "Room twenty one goes to Shion and Quaoar, while room twenty-four belongs to Quinton and Buck. That is all of the rooms, no you can't change roommates, you are stuck with that person until you are eliminated."
Quinton nodded at his roommate, who gave him a small smile.
Shion and Quaoar glanced at each other for a moment before looking back towards Chris.
"But here are the teams, from floor one room three up to floor three room eleven, you guys are team one. The second team consists of floor three room thirteen up to floor five room twenty-four. Twelve people per a team. Before going to your rooms, hang out in the performance hall and pick a song to sing as a group. Now go!" Chris called out to them.
Everyone gathered up their bags and headed inside the hotel, seeing crew members going about and setting things up. There were also people dragging in furniture, plants, and some construction supplies to and from the elevators.
"Ugh, they couldn't have finished up the construction when we weren't here?" Chelsea spoke. "This is definitely not five star service."
"We're not here for five star service, bimbo," V spoke, pinching the bridge of her nose.
"Oh, what-ev-er," Chelsea spoke, giving her a large eyeroll as she walked away.
They all continued walking until they found the performance hall. There had to be at least twenty rows of dark accented with silver colored seats with individual rows holding at least thirty seats total. The main house lights were on and against the stucco white walls were pale grey columns that went from floor to ceiling, a large silver chandelier hanging in the center of the ceiling. Between even number of columns were private seat boxes, adding more seats to the theater.
In front of the rows was a black stage with pale grey curtains with the spotlights on. Untouched, the floor freshly cleaned as they all could smell the floor wax lingering in the air.
"Oh god... that's like six hundred or so watching," Lloyd spoke a bit shocked.
"That's one theory," Quinton spoke as he approached the area before the stage. Looking down, he saw a bit where there were music stands and instrument cases.
"And have a whole orchestra too," Jacob commented as he saw a trumpet down below.
"I'm not liking this," Vivian spoke and some of the contestants looked at her. "I mean, who knows what we are actually doing this season, surprise wise. It was in the contracts."
There were a few mutters of agreement and she relaxed a tiny bit.
"Found a laptop," Brett called out while booting it up and typing in a username and password. "I told them to change the password cause I'm joining this season."
"Just head to the song list," Jacob told him.
Typing away, Brett found the song list and took in a deep breath.
"Best bet would be musical," Charlize spoke.
"And why musical?" Jacob asked her.
"Then we all can sing," Charlize snapped at him. "Then we can have an easier time picking a song."
"A musical sounds fun!" Erin commented.
"Everything is fun for you Erin," Rival commented.
"Oh hush!" Erin gleefully spoke, smacking him on the arm as he did a playful eyeroll towards her.
"Can the fun one lead us?" Shion asked, raising an eyebrow with a smirk on his face.
There were a few eyeroll's but everyone decided to ignore the question and go back to the list.
"We need a musical song that can cover all of us," Antoinette spoke. "Something dramatic. I expect a lead role."
"Don't expect nothing girl, you got kicked off the first time by the judges saying you didn't deserve the money to help you regain your family restaurant" Yves snapped at her. This made Antoinette fume quite a bit.
"Can we all just focus on the song here and figure out our roles?" Jacob snapped at them, "This is major serious, cause we perform tomorrow so we have less than twenty-four hours here."
"Minus the hours for sleep," Chelsea spoke, making a clicking sound as she spoke those words.
"W-what are the musical songs?" Mikata asked nervously.
"Ones, where multiple people sing in precisely," Capone insisted.
"We have-" Brett stated up before Jacob took over.
"What I Know Now, Bring on the Men, I Know Those Eyes/This Man is Dead, Alexander Hamilton, My Shot, Don't Lose Your Head, Life After Life, Finale: There's Always a Tomorrow, Deliver Us, The Plagues, Murder! Murder!, I Can't Lose You, Defying Gravity, Once Upon a Time, We'll Go From There, Quartet at the Ballet, The Schuyler Sisters, The Reynolds Pamphlet, Who Lives Who Dies Who Tells Your Story, Candy Store, All I Ever Wanted, Notes/Prima Donna, Masquerade/Why So Silent," Jacob spoke a bit out of breath.
"Hoowee, ain't that long," Buck spoke as he ran his fingers through his hair.
"Only a few of those have songs for all of us," Vernon spoke up. "I say we do the one with most roles involved. From the sounds of it, Murder! Murder! is our best bet."
"Why that one?" Antoinette complained.
"Too gruesome for you, sweet cheeks?" Lloyd snickered at her.
"We can pull off Masquerade/Why So Silent," she countered. "Plus, do we want to start our season on a dark note?"
"How about Deliver Us?" Erin asked as she jumped onto an armrest but missed terribly and fell to the ground, landing hard on her butt. "Ow."
Rival got down next to her and gently picked her up bridal style. Everyone grew quiet for a few seconds until a loud beeping sound startled them all.
"What the fuck is going off?" Antoinette snapped as the beeping stopped.
"S-sorry," Brett spoke as he looked down at his watch as he pulled a pill bottle out of his vest pocket. "I have some medication to take. But Murder! Murder! sounds like our best bet."
"So, who does the killer?" Vernon asked them.
"I say me," Capone spoke out.
"Like you have the guts to handle some guts," Lloyd commented. Mork just shook his head quietly at the comment.
"I can handle it," Jacob spoke up.
"I'm staying out of this," Brett spoke up.
"Can I do it?" Erin spoke up in a chirping voice.
"How about me?" Luna asked as she closed the laptop lid slowly. Everyone could see the screen turn blue before she closed it, "I have my... ways."
"That's creepy, but not good enough." Charlize spoke up. "Also how did you do that?"
"I have psychic ways," Luna spoke as she smirked.
"Just stay out of my head," Charlize snapped at her.
"How about him?" Quinton spoke, motioning over to Quaoar. "Statistically, he seems to be a better fit for the role."
Quaoar's eyes grazed over Quinton, before pulling out one of his swords and a sharpening stone.
"Fine, he'll do it," Jacob spoke. "Any objections?"
"What's my role?" Quaoar spoke up as no one said a word.
Brett quickly snapped the laptop back open, the blue screen gone, and clicked on the song. He read over the lines quickly and leaned back, "Speaking role. So, no singing for you."
"Fine," Quaoar spoke before walking away.
"Where are you going, partner?" Buck called out.
"My room," Quaoar muttered.
"We-we should all g-go," Mikata stuttered, the others nodded in agreement and headed off to their rooms as well.
"But we should be rehearsing!" Jacob protested. Charlize was the only other person who didn't budge from where she stood as his words didn't seem to phase the others.
"Good luck," Charlize commented as she walked away from him.
Team One were the first ones to reach their rooms and the camera's decided to play the footage of them first on their first impressions of the rooms they were given.
The camera zooming in on the door number R10 where two keycards were taped right below the numbers before zooming back out again. Antoinette was seen snagging the keycards off the card, and quickly swiped it through the slot. Rival merely gave her and eyeroll as she shoved the door wide open.
Seeing the room where the walls looked to be roughly seventeen feet tall, everything was done in soft tones of grey and white, the furniture (either the framing or whole pieces) done in black paint with a traditional style. There were a couple of couches done in red fabric with black edging decked with white pillows, the dark brown coffee table between the two couches had candles on it. On the other side of the room were large closets and dressers, desks with their own chair and computer (by computers aka laptops), along with a couple of ottomans for extra seating. Small gold chandeliers with clear glass panels were spaced around the room, illuminating the room with the natural lighting.. There was a large black door, obviously meaning it was the bathroom.
The beds were rounded with canopies of white fabric surrounding them, but left a gap large enough to see the light grey fabric and red pillows; accented with small hints of gold throughout. But all around the room were quick dashes of red, white, a tiny hint of pink and gold. Zinnia's, roses, gardenia's and carnations were in set in gold vases or floor pots around the room. On some of the walls were paintings in pink, black, gold, purple, blue, green and red colored paints set in gold frames.
"OH MY GOD! What the fuck is all this?" Antoinette gasped as her mouth hung open as she stared at the room before her.
"Jesus... fuck this," Rival muttered under his breath as he could feel the connection form in his mind.
Erin had decided to pop by before visiting her room and caught the sight of what was inside Rival's and Antoinette's room.
"Aww, this room is so romantic!" Erin said as she hugged Rival. "I wish I was your roommate now Rival, because this room is so romantic! But I trust you enough that you and Antoinette won't screw each other during the night!"
This caused Rival to freeze with an awkward look on his face while Antoinette covered her mouth with both hands and ran for the nearest trashcan in the hallway.
"Was it something I said?" Erin asked Rival, confused as to why Antoinette ran off like she did. "Is she coming down with something?"
The camera switched over to the room next door to Rival and Antoinette, R09 - Vivian and Charlize.
Vivian was quiet and had a worried look on her face as allowed Charlize to take charge when they headed for their room; hearing the door open, Vivian followed in after Charlize. Their room was almost entirely done in white with the walls being seventeen feet tall. Large, rectangle panels of grey granite had been installed into the walls behind their beds as the floors were done in a white granite. The curtains were grey, the furniture white as well with black trimming or completely done in black, small recessed lights went along the ceiling about two feet from where the wall and ceiling met and three small chandelier's were hanging in the middle of the ceiling. Each side of the room had their own closet, bed, dresser, mirror and desk with chair and computer. In the middle of the room were two couches, some foot stools, and a lounge chair along with a coffee table that had some books on it.
Natural light flooded in showing making the whole place glow. Looking about, there were dashes of light purple in the form of rugs that were set under their beds, the pillows, the bed covers and the fabric for the computer chairs; the door to the bathroom was done in a pale grey that stood out on the white wall.
"It's decent enough for modern," Charlize spoke as she marched in after putting her stuff down. "A different color would have been preferred over purple."
"What's wrong with purple?" Vivian spoke.
"It's not very complimentary here," Charlize spoke up. "Blue, turquoise, dark green, mint, even pink would have gone better."
"Oh okay," Vivian spoke, tripping over one of Charlize's bags. Charlize turned around and snapped at her.
"Will you watch where you're going? If you keep tripping like that, you'll be eliminated early on," Charlize snapped. This made Vivian gulp in fear.
Switching over to R5 - Shane pounced into his and Mikata's room moments after Mikata swiped the keycard. Shane's smile widened at the room, feeling a strong aura radiating off of it as he looked around. Three out of the four walls were painted white and the final wall where a few windows were at framed with thick white curtains that had a teal design on them. Their beds had dark grey framing with teal silk sheeting and a lime green bed heavy covers on top with lime green pillows. Dressers and closets were done in a dark grey color as well with gold handles with some teal decorations set on them. The couches in the center of the room were done in a teal color with dark grey framing, bold purple and white pillows, a dark grey coffee table with red candles set on it. Looking up at the ceiling, it was done in light grey planking with recess lights and a long chandelier that could almost be the length of dining room table. There were other accessories around the room that had a dramatic look to it, but the coloring of the pieces kept the room drawn together. The flooring was done in a white wood, set with royal blue carpets in certain spots.
At the foot ends of their beds were black desks with black chairs that had bold purple cushioning as grey computers sat on the desk surface.
"Now, this is what you call designer," Shane spoke as he fell onto a bed, almost sinking down into it.
"Umm... yeah," Mikata spoke as he looked around the room. To him, it was overpowering.
Glancing around the room once more, he saw Shane roll backwards off of the bed and landed on the floor.
"Wow, these carpets are soft! I might have to take one home," Shane commented as Mikata merely continued staring.
Over at R7, Erin (having finally returned to her room) and V were seen enjoying their room. Wood beams were seem attached to the ceiling with black hanging lights that gave off a lot of lighting as V pulled the grey window blinds down. The wall where the windows were at had exposed brick and leather furniture with dark wood framing were set nearby the area; the other walls were done in a pale grey color. Erin was currently going up a staircase to the mini-loft where her bed was at. Beneath her loft was a closet with pull out drawers and a leather couch with a few recessed lights instead of a hanging light; looking over to V's side, it was in the same style. They could see some exposed pipes running along their ceiling but from the looks of it, they were just their to accent the room more than anything.
"Oh my god, look at all of this space!" Erin cried out, "I can definitely do a lot of my work in here!"
"If you have the time to do anything," V spoke to her as she threw her suitcase near her closet. "But this is pretty sweet."
"Why did you close the blinds?" Erin asked her.
"We got enough light in here already, plus it keeps the room cool." V spoke back as she opened up a bag and pulled out a can of spray paint from her backpack. Shaking it, she started to paint one of the walls.
"Oh, what are you making?" Erin asked, hopping down from her bed but she slammed down onto the floor instead. Perking up, she ran to V's bag and pulled out a can of paint. Before V could say a word, the spray can exploded in Erin's hands.
Moving over, the camera zoomed in on R3, Brett was seen unpacking a small bag of electronics onto his desk. The entire room was nearly done in white - from the walls up to the ceiling; the floor was done with natural oak. The framing of their beds were done in dark brown oak with white bed covers and pillows; a pillow grey blanket folded up at the end. The dresser and closets were done in a dark oak as well; the accessories of the room done in a dark oak as well, a tan rug sat in the center of the room under a dark oak coffee table with some white couches and chairs. Above their beds were gold leaf wall sculptures.
Brett could hear a loud "oof" and looked over to see Quinn falling down onto her bed, without a care in the world.
"Don't you want to unpack?" Brett asked her.
"Later," Quinn spoke and he gave her a small shrug before turning to the computer and accessing the song list. He might as well start finding a song he'll have to sing with Capone.
The camera dashed down to R11, where Yves and Lloyd were looking around their room. Their beds dressed with deep green coverings and pillows, on a raised four inch platform, were against one wall that was decorated with diamond black, white and grey quartz tiles going from the floor up to the ceiling while the other walls were done in a light silver color. The platform where their beds sat had white carpeting while the rest of the room had white quartz tile. A long row of hanging lights done in gold hung over their beds, while dark grey closets and dressers with silver finishing were against the walls near their beds. Their computers were on the desks, one angled near a corner the other one nearby against a wall, both near some windows.
The center of the room, sat three large couches (one curved) and done in white with pale blue geometric designs on them with an Egyptian blue rug under them and a silver coffee table with shattered-mirror glass top set in the center; above that area was a longer row of ceiling lights just like the ones above their beds. Green geometric floor vases with plants in them were sparsely set around the room. Along the windows were deep silver curtains with a white pattern on them, and on the walls were artistic paintings that looked as though they cost a fortune.
"This is nice," Lloyd spoke as he walked to the bed that was farther from the door that led to the hallway.
"Better than what my folks have," Yves commented. "This place has a sense of style than my own house."
"What's your house like?" Lloyd asked her as she sat down on one of the couches.
"Not worth talking about," Yves spoke back to him as she stared out at the view before her. She could see the ivy that was flowing over the walls of the place.
The camera was seen being rushed up the elevator to the fifth (technically sixth) floor of the building to get footage of the other team and dashing down the hallway to R23 - Shion's and Quaoar's room. The wall that separated the room from the hallway stood a couple of feet taller, allowing there to be a vaulted ceiling to be in place. Dark wooden beams ran from the the room door to the window and they matched the color of the wood floor; the bathroom walls were also higher due to the ceiling were done with stone. Fingers barely grazing it, skipping over the bathroom door as he walked into the room, Quaoar nodded that the stone was genuine. All of the furniture was done with dark wood, either completely or for framing. The long leather couch and leather armchairs done in brown leather with deep red pillows on them. The beds were set in front of a couple of windows and had cream colored fabrics with red pillows on them with quilted blankets, while at the ends were their dresses; along the long stone wall of the bathroom were their closet but in-between them was a standing mirror set in grey timber.
Between the couch and armchairs was a dark wood coffee table with a thick white rug under it and looking over to the beds, they had the same rug as well but a bit bigger. There were some vintage cast iron accessories set about the room and brown framed images of nature scenes were set on the cool grey walls. Dark grey curtains were hung at the windows. A couple of fern plants were about the room, just a few to add enough of a touch of greenery.
"Wow, talk about an expensive cabin," Shion commented looking amazed at the room as he walked around the desks that sat about five feet from the main door to reach the couch before falling down on it. "At least there's a cooling unit here, man this heat wave is going to kill us!"
Quaoar kept looking over the room, raising an eyebrow for a second before dropping it as it gained his approval in his head.
"So, what kind of material is this rug made out of cause it is soft!" Shion spoke as he fell down onto it happily.
"Sheep wool," Quaoar commented. Shion stared up at Quaoar with a smile on his face as he could feel a faint blush coming to his cheeks.
"What?" Quaoar asked Shion.
"Oh, nothing important" Shion spoke as he threw a wink at Quaoar.
Leaving R25, the camera spun around to show R21 on the other side of the hall housing Quinton and Buck. Like R25 it had tall walls and a slight vaulted ceiling. White boats were used as the bed frames with blue and white sheets set on them, decked with red pillows that had gold anchors stitched on them and were pressed up against the long wall of the bathroom. Between their beds was a blue glass end table set with a gold fabric ship bell lamp; above their beds was a large reprint of a nautical map of the world from the 1700's set in a black frame on the pale blue wall. The floor that they walked upon was a warm maple color. By the short wall where the bathroom door was, were two large closets with pullout drawers done in white with a slight distress look and a large mirror. Across from their beds were two distress grey desks where their computers sat with blue cushioned grey distress chairs. To the left of their bedroom door was a white distressed bookcase filled with books, two blue couches against adjoining walls set with white pillows that had red embroidered sea life on them; in front of the couches was a white shiplap coffee table set on top of a compass rug while between the couch ends was a blue glass table with a similar lamp that was by their beds.
Above the coffee table was a glass and black metal ship ceiling light while around the room were glass ship bell shape hanging lights. The windows were set with white curtains tied back with ship rope while one some walls hung shadow boxes with sea shells in them.
"It ain't country, but it does make me want to go fishing," Buck spoke as he fell onto a bed and kicked off his boots.
"My dad would like it," Quinton commented. "It would remind him of astronomers who went on the seas and studied the stars."
Quinton had walked over to the bookcase and looked over the books. Some were on math or science, history and geography, including a bunch on astronomy, there were even ones about unknown creatures such as Bigfoot, Yeti, El Chupacabra other creatures. Grabbing the books about unknown creatures, he put them on the bottom shelf of the end table by the couches so they were out of sight. This made Buck raise an eyebrow at him.
"Why did ya hide those?" Buck asked him.
"They're a false science, they don't exist. I don't understand why they even have these books here," Quinton spoke. "All they do is create false beliefs or fantasies in a person and there isn't true evidence to support their existence."
Moving from R21, the camera dashed down the hallway and into the elevator pressing the Floor 3 button. Stepping off, it dashed down to R17 - Chelsea and Capone's room. The walls to their bathroom were done with shiplap wood in a sea blue color while the other walls were an off-white, the floor in a golden oak. The framing to their furniture was done in either a light brown or white coloring wood or wicker from the bed and sitting furniture frames to the closets with the pull out drawers and their computer desks. The sheets to their beds were done in a pale coral color with yellow pillows to accent it; at the end of their beds were their closets with the pullout drawers; long floor to ceiling length panels were on side supporting the closets and a few shelves that had small succulents and small potted plants (unsure if they were real or not). Their couches were done with whicker frames with white cushions and had pillows done in the same blue as the shiplap; the coffee table was set with small dishes that had some sweets in them and a couple of succulents.
Cream curtains hung by their windows, framed photographs of different beaches were on the walls done in black and white. Natural light flooded into the room as Chelsea flipped the switched to turn off the light brass hanging ceiling lights.
"Now, this is a beach vacation," Chelsea spoke as she walked over to a bed and sat down on it.
"Wish I brought a beach ball now," Capone spoke as he looked all around the room. "You could actually play volleyball in here.
"Too bad that there isn't an actual beach," Chelsea complained. "I can so use a tanning session right about now."
"Tanning your skin further won't do you any good unless you want to make yourself into a gold statue," Capone teased at her.
Following R17 the camera jumped to R20 - Vernon's and Luna's room. Vernon was star struck by the room as he looked around him, while Luna naturally walked in but she felt something inside of her twitch. All of the wood that was in the room was done in a black lacquer, none of it scratched yet, from the bed and seating frames, the desks and their chairs, dressers and closets, along with a coffee table that had a gold design painted on the top. Everything about the room was lavish - the wood floor was done in a pale grey, small silver chandeliers hung from the ceiling, the walls in white color but seemed to have a silver undertone to it except for one that was done in a naval blue. The couches and armchairs cushioning was a lakeshore blue velvet with silver silk pillows set on them. Their beds were set with deep silver colored silk sheets and had dark blue velvet pillows to go with them. At their beds and the coffee table were dark grey faux fur rugs.
Silver accessories were set about the room, some with green, blue or red accents detailing them. Falling down onto one of the beds, Vernon nearly sunk down into it.
"I think I'm stuck," Vernon spoke as he tried to get back up. Luna had walked over to a window while rolling her eyes in the process. She could see the stage and the main hotel before their room. Folding her arms over her chest, she smirked as she thought of things she was going to be doing this season.
"Uh... Luna?" Vernon called out as he managed to sit up on the bed and saw that she was gone from the room. He didn't even hear the door that led to the hallway open or close, nor the bathroom door. This left him oddly confused on how she disappeared just like that.
"Wow, she is psychic," Vernon spoke as he felt his eyes grow wide. "Wonder if she can tell me about my future?"
Moving from R20, the camera hurried over to R19 - Mork and Jacob's room. Their room was clean, open and spacious. Emerald green paint were on the walls except for the bathroom walls which where done with vertical light brown panels while the floors were done with maple wood. Near the entrance of their door was a pale grey velvet couch that had a dark grey geometric design on the fabric and white velvet swivel chairs decked with gold pillows with a white geometric pattern on it, a light brown coffee oval coffee table in the center of the furniture group that had some gold décor set on top of it; between the couch and chairs were some floor plants with white flowers blooming on them. From the ceiling hung midcentury silver lamps that brightly lit up the room. Looking down their room, they could see the white desks with glass tops to them and computers set on it set with white chairs that had a white cushions with a green pattern on it. They had tall white closets with pullout drawers and pale grey framed beds set with deep grey sheets and brown pillows that had a white geometric pattern on it. Between their beds was a pale grey end table that matched their bedframes with a small bush set in a gold pot.
There were a few paintings in the room, bold in simple colors - gold, white, a light copper, brown, orange and brown; one across the couch on the bathroom wall and another above their bed.
"Not too extravagant," Jacob spoke out. "It's clean looking, good. That will make things easier to handle."
"Easier how?" Mork asked in a small voice.
"To practice, get things right," Jacob snapped at him. "We mess up, we're out of the game. A clean, organized, focused room like this can help. It's not over dramatic, nor cluttered, or too busy to be distracting."
Mork nodded his head as he went for the bed set at the corner of the room while Jacob got the one that was against one wall. Looking over at Jacob, he could see that he was already busy unpacking; so he just pulled out his own laptop and plugged in his headphones to do some of his music.
The camera left R17 and head down to the third floor where the final room was at - R13 where Laverne and Mag were staying at. Their walls were a light chestnut color, with ecru colored wood flooring. Like other rooms, the frames to furniture or the entire furniture was done in black wood or metal; the beds were accented with coffee brown sheets with gold pillows that designs on them done in cherry blossom pink. Their closets had pullout drawers as well and were done in a black with gold handles on them along with some cherry blossoms done in a gold colored paint painted on them. They had a long dark coffee colored sectional couch that was in an L-shape; end tables at either end with red lantern shape lamps accented with gold and a chestnut coffee table with grey pots that had small bamboo growing in it. Their desks were by the windows, which were set with cream colored curtains.
From the ceiling, lantern lights in a gold color were spaced out giving the room a good amount of lighting for them to see when it got dark. On either side of the beds were cherry pink blossom colored rectangle rugs with gold patterns on them; while on the couch were gold pillows set upon on it. At certain spots on the walls, were a couple of Chinese or Japanese paintings - one of koi fish, another of a mountain, one of lilies, and another of a bridge before a river and the final one of a cherry blossom branch over a lake.
"Seriously?" Laverne spoke, "They couldn't have given us something classier?"
"What's wrong with this room?" Mag snapped. "It's peaceful and holds a lot of beauty in it. So, shut your mouth and enjoy it."
Laverne just scoffed at her and stood in the center of the room as Mag went over and claimed a bed.
For all of the teens, this day was certainly going to be long. As, they have barely begun their first challenge on the show.
The camera screen was seen splitting into 24 different smaller screens of Chris appearing on everyone's computers before the screen merged into one single image on their laptop screens. "Attention all contestants, please go find your partner, go to A room and pick a song to perform. Make sure to check off the song list that song is already taken so we don't end up with repeats for the challenge," Chris spoke. "NOW!"
The computers immediately turned off and everyone left their rooms to find their partners and pick their songs.
Brett had met up in Capone's room; he was seen throwing a football up into the air and Brett rubbed the back of his head.
"Sup, dude," Capone spoke, with a large grin on his face. "Grab and chair and let's get started!"
"Uh, sure," Brett spoke grabbing the other computer chair. "I've already started to look at songs that are like pop, metal, R and rock n' roll."
"At least you didn't pick an opera or classical, god I can't stand that stuff," Capone laughed. "But, I'll settle on rock n' roll as it's close to rock!"
Clicking on the rock section, the two scrolled through the music till they found a song that they agreed upon and checked it off that they were going to be singing it. It was then they realized that Rock and Rock n' Roll had been combined onto the same list.
"I'll be cool with a rock song," Brett spoke. "Rock evolved from Rock n' Roll."
The camera switched over to Shion moving his chair over to where Jacob's desk was at in Jacob's room. Jacob was already scrolling through the songs at a quick speed, dismissing multiple songs at once.
"Dude, slow down," Shion spoke up, taking the computer mouse away from him. "I have to pick as well."
"We need to pick the right one," Jacob commented. "One that will keep us on the show to avoid elimination and impress the judges. It's their opinion that matters over ours. And the song needs to be perfect."
"It's a trial round," Shion smiled, putting an arm around Jacob's shoulders. "Don't get it right, move on to the next. If you do, see if you can work out a second date.'
"What?" Jacob questioned him as he shrugged off Shion's arm, but Shion already turned his attention to the songs.
"So, what's your favorite music topics?" Shion spoke, a smirk forming on his face.
"Classical, opera," Jacob answered, "And jazz."
"Well, we got those in common," Shion winked at him. "Won't be hard to find a perfect match for us."
Looking at the song list, Shion was on the jazz section and Jacob took the computer mouse. "That one," Jacob spoke with a firm voice.
Nodding his head to Jacob, Shion clicked on the song.
"Why this song?" Shane asked Antoinette as the two sat in his and Mikata's room.
"Oh. My. God. It's a pop song," Antoinette complained to him. "And it's in the only music genre we can agree upon."
"Good thing I'm a mezzo soprano!" Shane happily called out, tilting too far back to where he completely fell over with his chair.
"Wait, so you can hit female pitches?" Antoinette spoke, raising an eyebrow at him. He nodded his head in response.
"Then the song can work," Antoinette said to him.
"We can go with it if we use some of my ideas to help our performance," Shane told her.
"Fine," Antoinette spoke. "But they better be good ones."
"Duh, small firecrackers, maybe some smoke... Oh! Spotlights!" Shane spoke, growing excited by all of this as Antoinette clicked on the song.
Mork and Quinn were debating over their song, flipping through their favorite song genres. The two of them sitting in Quinn's room, sharing the laptop.
"Classical... it's not suiting," Mork spoke in a soft voice.
"Okay, well, we both like punk!" Quinn happily stated. "I say we go punk. Rock out to our fullest!"
She did a head bang, but hit he head on the top of the desk. "Ow."
"Can... it be... punk rock?" He asked her.
"Long as it's got a punk backing, we're good," Quinn said to him, giving him a small punch in the shoulder.
He laughed a small bit as they scrolled through the punk rock songs; they realized that the punk rock section was still being updated with songs and that there wasn't too many songs in the category yet.
"Should we look at another section?" Mork asked Quinn.
"Yeah, we can," Quinn said with a smile on her face. "Long as it's something we can pull off a good performance with."
Luna occasionally glanced at Vivian, causing Vivian to glance away so she wouldn't meet Luna's gaze. The two were in Vivian's room.
"I say we do a musical song," Luna spoke. "Then we can show the judges that we have vocal range."
"O-okay," Vivian told Luna. "I like musicals."
Luna nodded her head and glanced at the computer than at Vivian. She could see that Vivian didn't liked to be stare at in certain ways. Grinning she clicked on the song and got a message saying that the lyrics will be given to them later on in the day.
"We have a song?" Vivian asked her.
"Yes, and it will be impressive." Luna spoke. "We will be leaving an impression on everyone."
"A good one?" Vivian asked.
"Of course," Luna spoke as she smirked. Vivian sighed and leaned back in the chair.
Course, she didn't question which song Luna had picked. And for Luna, this was definitely going to leave an impression on everyone.
Laverne and Lloyd sat in Lloyd's room, Lloyd simply relaxing while Laverne looked over the song list on the computer.
"Do you want me to help with the song pick?" Lloyd asked Laverne. "From the looks, we have a couple music genre in common. I'm into pop."
Laverne moved away from the computer, allowing him to see what the pop options were. He didn't want to use the other computer as one would be enough between the two. Scrolling, he saw one that caught his eye.
"We can do this one," Lloyd pointed out. "I watched the video before and it's a risque pop song."
"Well, we can do a bit of a risque dance with it then," Laverne spoke.
"Hate to tell you," Lloyd spoke, "I'm bad at dancing but good with the flirting."
He hooked his foot behind one of her ankles and she perked up at him. "Then I guess I'll have to instruct you," Laverne commented.
"We should really rock out the stage tonight," Rival spoke as he titled back as he leaned back on his rooms computer chair.
"It ain't helping that your room is..." Buck started, looking around the room. He wasn't sure what to call it.
"Don't ask. I already gagged once after Erin left," Rival spoke. "I want to forget that I room with Antoinette as much as I can right now."
Buck nodded his head and the two went through the songs some more.
"Be okay partner if we try this one?" Buck spoke as he pointed at the song. "I can loan ya a pair of spurs and boots."
"You brought that stuff?" Rival asked.
"Figured I need it here in case we do something with horses and that sorts," Buck said. "I mean, who knows what will be happening here."
"Think I can keep them?" Rival asked. "The spurs I mean? Who knows if I have to use them for some defense."
"I wouldn't mind," Buck answered him.
"So, we go classic," Vernon spoke as he looked over at Yves. "Think you can take most of the attention off me?"
The two were sitting in his and Luna's room, studying the classical songs. Yves leaned back a small bit and looked at him.
"Well, we both like classical but that might grab too much attention on you," Yves spoke. "Instead of classical, why not some soul."
"Yeah, cool," Vernon spoke as Yves went through the soul songs.
The two studied the songs for a while before landing on one that would be easy.
"So, you can do most... of the song," Vernon spoke.
"I'll be sure to leave some lines for you, but you got to have at least forty percent of the song," Yves spoke.
"Okay, I'll sing that much," Vernon spoke, in a small voice now realizing that he was going to be doing it in front of the judges, Chef and Chris, plus the other contestants.
"You good? Your face paled." Yves commented.
"Yeah." Vernon spoke, jerking back slightly. "L-let's practice!"
Erin was bouncing up and down as she sat backwards on the chair next to Quaoar and he slightly moved away from her as they stared at the computer.
"We can do this one," Erin pointed out on the computer screen. "Or this one. And this one."
"Slow down," Quaoar muttered but Erin kept going on about the song choices. Some of them she really liked, other she didn't but made comments about that they would be good for others or could work well later on.
"Oh! This one!" Erin pointed out, smacking her hand on the computer screen repeatedly.
"It's pop," Quaoar spoke. "I'm not a pop fan."
"Please!" Erin spoke, giving him big eyes. "Please, please, please, please! We can pull it off!"
She had turned her chair so she could face him and was leaning towards him; the chair legs slowly coming off of the floor. Getting off of his chair, she fell forwards breaking both chairs in the process.
"Long as you get new chairs," Quaoar spoke; but he more of wanted her to stop begging already, so might as well let her have the song.
"DEAL!" Erin said, giving him a quick hug before dashing out of the room. He stood there, stiff like a board as an uneasy feeling that she hugged him came over him.
"So, are you going to allow me to help choose a song?" Mag asked Charlize as they sat in Mag's and Laverne's room.
"We need something that will be strong, show our vocals off," Charlize spoke. "Opera or classical will be our best shot."
"Your best shot," Mag spoke. "I'm not into the classical or opera genre."
"Well, it seems to be strongest here," Charlize spoke.
"If you want to be a prima donna!" Mag countered her. "Which, I'm not."
"We don't have much of a choice," Charlize commented.
"Oh, yes we do," Mag spoke as she took the mouse from Charlize and scrolled through a different genre. "Here. We can go with this one. It's one of your favorite genre, but I can relate to the song. That's more important than showing off our range."
Charlize glared at her but Mag simply ignored it.
"We aren't finding anything," Chelsea complained as she put her head down on the desk gracefully.
"You're not helping much," Quinton spoke.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Chelsea snapped at him, but he just shook his head in response to her as they sat in his and Buck's room.
"Ugh, what is with this room? This is so out of season," Chelsea spoke, her vocal tic sounding like she was kind of gagging when speaking. "If my manager was here, he would fix this room straight!"
Quinton just shook his head and went back to looking at the songs again, Chelsea snapping her fingers at him to get his attention.
"It would be smarter for the two of us to pick a song first," Quinton spoke to her.
"All of your options are B to the O, R, I, N, G." Chelsea complained to him. "We need something to give us the most attentions, not make us boring!"
Shaking his head, he knew it was going to be a while before finding a song for them to perform.
V and Mikata were going through the pop songs with extreme caution. They wanted to find a good one before it was taken, but they also had to make sure that they could perform it to their best degree.
"How about a... popular one?" Mikata asked her.
"Yeah, we can pull it off," V spoke. "Everyone loves a classic pop song."
Mikata nodded his head and they went through a few more songs until they were stuck between two choices.
"No... not that one," Mikata spoke.
"Why not?" V asked raising an eyebrow at him.
"Repeat," Mikata muttered.
"How are we going to repeat it it?" V asked; taking control of the mouse Mikata clicked on the tab under the song that said "Extra Info" on it. Looking at the label, it showed that it was already sung in Total Drama Hollywood.
"Oh right, that season," V spoke. "Kind of forgot about it. So, we'll go with our second choice then."
"Wow," Chris spoke as he stared all of the footage. "That took two hours? Two hours to find a song to perform?"
"Yup," Chef spoke as he sipped a cup of coffee.
"Well, let's hope that they can perform it to their best tomorrow night," Chris spoke. "Along with the group song."
"So anything left to do for this episode?" Chef asked Chris.
"Oh, right! They have to do their individual confessional scenes and let the audience know how they feel about all this stuff... and whatever else it is that they do in confessional rooms," Chris spoke as an intern brought him a coffee and he lost interest in what he was saying.
Looking at a cameraman, he stared at him for a few seconds taking a long sip of coffee before speaking. "Well, get those confessional room scenes already," Chris spoke to the cameraman. "And in random order!"
Charlize's Confessional Scene:
Any damage that was done to the confessional room by Erin was now fixed and it appeared brand new again.
"To say the least, this show needs better structure. Especially with Chris," Charlize spoke.
The camera fast forward about ten seconds as she mumbled to herself, then she looked up at the camera again. "And there is Mag. Girl has force and I don't agree with the song that she picked. What I had would have been better for the both of us, now we are stuck with this song that she randomly picked without much considerations!"
Putting her hands on face, she leaned back a small bit. "God, I hope that my family see's that this was the wrong choice of getting me to improve my socialization. We could have gone with therapy instead!"
Quinton's Confessional Scene:
He was seen reading a book before looking up at the camera. "Chelsea seems to be the least logical here of everyone. Not only that but I have the theory that she is mentally suffering in some way. Not sure yet, but she is. Also, she has a health problem that she needs to get checked out."
Closing his book shut, he set it next to him.
"If I stay on this show long enough, I can most likely figure some things out about this season."
Vivian's Confessional Scene:
Looking around, she saw that Quinton accidently left his book behind.
"Oh... he left his book," Vivian spoke as she stared at it. Picking it up, she ignored the camera and read a page or two before a cameraman coughed to get her attention. Looking up, embarrassment fell over her face.
"Oh my gosh! I am so sorry!" Vivian spoke, hurriedly. "I-I got distracted and - Oh!"
She covered her face with her hands to try and hide herself from further embarrassment.
Buck's Confessional Scene:
He was seen strumming and adjusting his banjo for a few seconds before looking up at the camera.
"I ain't appearing like a I gotta lot of brain, but I do," Buck spoke. "Just need a moment to shine and show it."
There was the sound of a string breaking and he cursed a bit under his breath as he reached into a pocket and pulled out a packet of replacement strings.
Mikata's Confessional Scene:
"I-I'm not too sure on what t-to think about here..." Mikata spoke nervously. "They are... nice and mean. But.. they can all actually be mean!"
He was seen shaking a small bit, a nervous look washing over him now. "I-I don't know them... They don't know me."
He grew silent for a few seconds, looking away from the camera. He then looked back at it again, opening his mouth but he then closed it.
Brett's Confessional Scene:
Brett was seen lying completely down on the couch, letting out a deep breath.
"Well, this is my first season BEING on a show. Being a cameraman on the show, that's a completely different story. This is riskier. I can get kicked off on any episode here and lose out on the money. To say the least, we got some major competition here. Antoinette, Laverne and Chelsea... god those three are the diva's. Luna is questionable right now. She has that creepy feeling like she can be on a horror show... But I swear, I've seen her from somewhere, I just don't recall where yet."
Quaoar's Confessional Scene:
"Well... this season is unique. Allies and enemies are all around us here," Quaoar spoke. "Hopefully, one of them will be strong enough to last a good enough time against me."
Standing up, he walked out of the confessional room without another word.
Mag's Confessional Scene:
She pinched the bridge of her nose and took in a deep breath. "Things are going to be a mess this season, it just is. Don't argue with me about it."
"You know we need to have a discussion!" Chris shouted through the door.
"SAYS THE GUY WHO BAILED ON FOUR THERAPY SESSIONS!" Mag yelled as she faced the door before turning back to the camera. "Yeah, even with me, there's going to be a mess. Excluding me from everyone else, it's going to be a mess. Somethings will be fun, somethings won't be. We'll just have to wait and see what happens."
Shane's Confessional Scene:
"This place is going to explode with passionate ball of fire! We're going to light up the night sky and party till dawn! This season is going to be epic!" Shane shouted before kicking over one of the potted plants.
"And we're going to make things crazy for the show that they'll have to find a new word to replace drama!"
Erin's Confessional Scene:
She was see sitting on the couch, trying to fix the device that exploded on her eariler.
"There are so many people here that I can be friends with! I can be friends with the crew! The judges! The other contestants! And the hosts!" Erin happily squealed out loud. "We're going to have so much fun with each other!"
She accidentally threw the screwdriver into the air and it hit the ceiling above her. Looking up, the light above her fell and crashed completely right onto her; hitting her face first.
Then the first flame of a fire starting sprouted.
Rival's Confessional Scene:
He was seen sitting at a fountain, a mini-hotel right behind him but not the one that the contestants were staying at; the confessional scenes now were taking place at this fountain. He was wearing gloves to be safe.
"So, there is a second mini-hotel, course with less rooms. We might be moving there when there are less contestants here," Rival spoke. "Wait, why did they stick us in the bigger one first?"
Looking at the small hotel, he let out a sigh. "Screw it. Anyways, Erin destroyed a confessional room again... this time it caught fire. And she caught fire as well... But she'll be fine. I have a cool partner. Erin got Quaoar... he doesn't seem to be quite friendly. A lot of people don't seem to be friendly. I'm not so sure about Mag right now. Guess I'll have to keep my eyes open and watch Erin's back... Good thing we're on the same team."
Jacob's Confessional Scene:
"Except from the looks of Charlize, everyone here is a complete mess. I seem to be the most perfectly sane one here. You have a girl that is "psychic", please. Then you got the people that jump on just about everything, the ones who are mental mess or want to kill you, the theorist who has yet to really show us anything, a girl who doesn't seem to be getting a hint about everyone... god, you also have the diva's as well. I have the feeling that this show will be in my favor."
Antoinette's Confessional Scene:
"Oh. My. God! Most of this stuff is screwed up!" Antoinette complained, as she folded her arms. "Seriously, it is. They bunked me in a room with Rival! Not only that they think something is going to happen to us! UGH!"
She leaned backwards and almost fell into the fountain. "And they couldn't relocate us to an actual confessional room instead of putting us outside? Anyone can listen in our confessional scenes now!"
Capone's Confessional Scene:
He had his football again and was tossing it in the air. "At least they put us outside, there's a lot more breathing room. And space to run in. And throw stuff. And not cause a fire."
He blinked for a second as he saw the red and blue lights of the fire trucks, police cars and the ambulances pulling out. Shrugging, he looked around the area that he was in and squinted his eyes for a second. Off in the distance, something caught is attention.
"There's a sports court here! That's epic!" Getting up from the fountain, he ran for the court. A camera followed after him but eventually stop but managed to get his voice. "THERE'S A SECOND ONE AND THEY'RE LIKE THE SIZE OF A BASKETBALL COURT!"
Yves's Confessional Scene:
"God, I hope things stay pretty decent for this season," Yves spoke. "The fact that Sin, Candela and Sephiria's seasons are involved together somehow... there's major things going on. And I hope I can stay in long enough for this season, cause I got quite a bit riding on me here."
Luna's Confessional Scene:
"A lot of people are going to lose," Luna spoke as she shoved her hair behind her shoulders. "They don't have the skills that I have. Yeah, some of them have been in the entertainment industry, but they aren't professionals. Most of them are going to fail and go back to their parents crying. Most might be yelled at by their parents for failing."
She smirked at the camera before smoke began floating around and when it cleared she was gone.
"Uh, was that something we did?" A cameraman asked.
"No," a camerawoman spoke out. "I don't even know how that happened."
"Well crap," A second camerawoman spoke up. "We might need an extra camera on her."
Shion's Confessional Scene:
"I think there are going to be some interesting event here," Shion spoke, throwing a wink at the camera. "I can see that there's already passion between people, some hatred can lead to love... bet we're going to have quite a few parties. But... we'll have our hard days on the set, I mean, what show doesn't have hard days? If we get bored, we'll just come up with something fun to do."
He looked around for a second then back at the camera, "Long as it doesn't deal with anymore fire. Please!"
Laverne's Confessional Scene:
She was seen on the fountain, resting on her left side; her left arm holding up her head.
"Well, there is potential for drama here. In all sorts of ways. Erin and Rival are into each other... but who knows how long that will last? I kind of watch Sin's seasons and well... his girl streak isn't the best, but he does have quite a dynamic relationship. Some of the other guys here, they're interesting. Some of the girls... best to get them eliminated so that way the boys aren't too distracted from the best ones. And the rooms definitely need to be updated with a better style."
Mork's Confessional Scene:
Mork was seen with his headphones on, laptop in front of him and the camera could hear his music just enough to pick it up. Looking up, he pulled off his headphone and slammed his laptop shut.
"I-uh... It's just some good music... nothing special." Mork said as he gathered his things and crept away from the area.
Quinn's Confessional Scene:
"This season is going to be one of the hottest seasons," Quinn spoke. "Both figuratively and literally. Anyways, heard that Capone is playing football and I want in, so I'll make this short. But hey, this show is going to be expressive in many ways, artistic stuff and all that. New opportunities are here. So, best to do what you can before you're eliminated. It will only hurt you if you don't try!"
With that said, she bolted off running for the courts.
Vernon's Confessional Scene:
"My turn... okay," Vernon spoke as he let out a sigh. "Things seem okay right now, but we haven't done the actual challenge yet. We're getting ready. Charlize... she's here. I've seen her before and well... she is... sorry. Off topic. I-I don't know about this season... yet... but we'll learn soon enough, right?"
Chelsea's Confessional Scene:
She made a ticking sound before she could speak a word and covered her mouth with her hands.
"Oh my god. I did that on camera. Is there a way to do this over? Please? God, my manager is going to be so mad at me!" Chelsea pleaded. "I'm better at this, I swear. I've been trained to do better than everyone else here! I'm hotter than these girls here and better gifted as well. I just haven't performed yet, so just wait and you'll see what I can do!"
V's Confessional Scene:
"I think this season has some potential here," V spoke as she popped her finger knuckles. "I think someone people will be getting on the other's nerves. And I will be waiting for it to happen. Things will certainly be fun. This show is all about the drama, and if it needs some, well I can serve it for them."
Lloyd's Confessional Scene:
"Well, I'm last, mine will be the most impressionable." Lloyd spoke as he looked up from a journal that he was writing in. "I hope that I can gain some courage to sing... sing something original. Not like a cover, but something I made with a good instrumental to it. But... I just don't think anything is good enough."
"And that is it for Part One of TDLV," Chris spoke as he stood in burnt confessional room. "We got our contestants. They have their songs... for the most part! We have the prize... shoot, we forgot to mention the prize money. Anyways, we have a prize money worth five million dollars! Who will win? Who will our first loser be?"
Looking around, he grimaced at the room.
"And why am I stuck in this room?" Chris yelled as the camera panned out from him. "Find out how things will go on the next part of episode one on Total Drama Las Vegas!"
Bonus Scene:
A black jeep pulled up in front of the fountain to the hotel; the people in the car visible. Chris was standing on the hotel steps and gulped at the sight of Sephiria Arks sitting in the front passenger seat while Arturo Arks was behind the wheel driving the car. Gulping, he knew that if both were here already it was trouble.
Sephiria could see Chris and gave him a smirk before leaning to her left and kissing her husband on the lips for a few seconds before getting out of the car. Black open toe platform ankle boots with a mesh top that had zippers on the center were on her feet; for clothes she had on black leather pants and a high collar tank top with a large V cutout on the left side that was asymmetrical in both design and color (the top half being black while the bottom half was an icy blue color). She had a black ring on her right ring finger, a silver cuff on her upper right arm with two silver bracelets on her right wrist while her left wrist had entwined silver bracelets. Black nail polish, red lipstick, black eyeshadow surrounded her grey eyes; her hair, except for the two sidelocks, were pulled back into a ponytail but her sidelocks were missing their signature coloring. This time, she had no piercings on.
"Temporary look McLean, so not a word," Sephiria spoke to him.
"Why are you here? Why are the both of you here?" Chris panicked as he came up to her.
"Not because of you this time," Sephiria spoke.
"Then go back home!" Chris yelled at him as pointed at the car Arturo was till in. There was a rev of the engine and the car launched forwards making Chris jump out of the way. "JESUS!"
Sephiria just laughed as Arturo rolled down the window and looked at Chris, "Sorry. Wrong pedal."
Sephiria motioned for the camera to focus back on her as she leaned up against the black jeep; relaxed and a cool feeling coming from her. A small blonde tabby cat head peeked over the window and jumped out, with a blue harness and leash on; Sephiria was quick to grab the leash as Roswell started to walked around and enjoy being outside.
"This is a message to the world of Total Drama," Sephiria spoke, "In our Total Drama stories, a problem has risen. Plagiarism. Now, no one likes plagiarism. It is one of the greatest insults towards writers of our world."
"Why are you bringing this up?" Chris asked her as he ran and stood on the concrete edge of the fountain.
The camera then refocused back on Sephiria again, "Currently in the community of Total Drama, a plagiarism is going on. Candela Monsoon's Act I season is currently being plagiarized by Queen of Zaira, with her story Total Drama: The Music Unit. Everything about it is a complete copy of Total Drama Act I: Musical Impact. Not only is it a plagiarized story but people are withdrawing from it, but Queen of Zaira is refusing to remove anyone from the casting. Candela Monsoon even messaged Queen of Zaira herself asking to stop, but she messaged back "So? It's not like I copied EVERYTHING you know?" to Candela's reply for her to stop plagiarizing and delete the story; thus incriminating herself that she plagiarized Candela Monsoon's story. She has also blocked numerous authors, myself, Candela Monsoon, SinWriter7, Obsidian Champion, Ecliptic Plasma, TheUnchartedHallow, LordGemini, TempoKeep, TheGreatGolem, Epifanio Therion, xxPrincxssxx, and others to ignore everyone and continue on with her plagiarism story."
Chris's mouth fell open at the news of this. This was the first time he was hearing of it.
"So, I am asking all of you viewers out there," Sephiria spoke with a pleading look on her face. "Do not read her story. Do not comment or review. Please report it. Do not give her the views. Multiple forms of evidence is in the reviews. To report the story, just go to the reviews, scroll down and click report. What us authors majorly want from Queen of Zaira to do is to delete the story, unblock all of us and send everyone an apology, and write a story the right way. But Queen of Zaira is not even doing that. Plagiarism is a major issue for all writers, so please, viewers and writers do the right thing. Do not plagiarize someone else and report this story. Myself and others have already done so and we need help. Thank you."
Whistling, Roswell jumped into her arms and she got into the car again. Turning the wheel, Arturo back up and made Chris jump into the fountain before putting the car and driving off from the place.
"Well..." Chris spoke with a wide-eyed look on his face, "A lot of people are going to be mad about this."
The camera soon switched over to inside the jeep; Roswell happy that he had the whole back section to himself.
"We definitely do not need this drama," Sephiria spoke. "We do not need a Total Drama copycat."
"Especially with what happened not long ago on Musical Power..." Arturo spoke. "Leticia, Evan... shit. Candela is already stress enough."
Sephiria nodded her head. Her husband knew what was in the reports but refused to say another word to her. Not even Candela would tell her. But she wasn't going to ask.
