Exploration Gon Wrong

Gon and his friends were looking around Groza Bay. It was known for its monsters and Gon wanted to take a look. Killua had thought it was a bad idea overall because if it was even worse than the Milsy Wetlands in trickery, Gon probably wouldn't be able to take it. But so far so good.
Three children emerged from the tree. Leorio took one look at them, and decided he didn't like them. There was a boy with white hair and an emo looking boy with black hair covering one eye.
"Hi! My name is Gon! What's yours?" Gon exclaimed, before anyone could tell him it was a bad idea.
"He's either stupid or thinks we're stupid." the black hair boy stated boldy.
Kurapika didn't trust them either. They could be monsters pretending to be humans, and if they were, why were their aura's so freaky? The black boys aura swirled around him like a storm, and the white boy seemed to have no auro whatsoever. If they weren't magical beasts then what were they.
"We're not here to chat, you can leave." Killua glared at the visitors.
"This one has brain cells.' the black haired boy grinned.
"Who doesn't?" Gon asked.
No one answered him, as a matter of fact, the black haired boy was too busy looking amused.
"What are you doing here? It's dangerous you know." Kurapika questioned.
"We're here because our sister saw something interesting and ran off." the white haired boy explained.
"DUMB."
"Oh really, then can we help?" Gon smiled. Killua smacked his forehead.
"Fine. I've come to the conclusion that it is impossible for a magical beast to be so…"
"Don't say anything." Killua warned.
"Okay. If you say so. My name is Ray, this is Norman, our sister is Emma."
"We have to go home soon or Gilda will kill us." Norman sighed.
"And with Emma."
"Is Gilda your mom?" Kurapika asked.
"No, she's also our sister." Norman responded.
"That's a lot of siblings." Leorio noted.
Ray smirked, "We have 30 more."
"Seriously? I have 4 siblings and our family is a mess!"
"That just means your mom is bad. Is she?" Norman responded camly.
"She does!"
"Thats funny because our mom isn't that great either." Ray smiled.
"She's oka-" Norman was cut off by Killua.
"How do you live?"
"Well Emma and Gilda take the motherly role, since their the older girls-"
"And you guys take the fatherly role?" Gon inquired.
"Nah. I'm more of the unreliable uncle and Norman is the slightly more reliable uncle." Ray laughed.
"NORMAN RAY I FOUND SOMETHING COOL LOOK!" An orange haired girl screamed.
"Oh hey Emma. These are our new friends Gon and…"
"I'm Killua. Kurapika. Leorio."
"Oh! Hi! I'm Emma!"
"She's like Gon." Leorio remarked.
"She is much smarter than Gon!" Norman proclaimed protectively.
"ANYWAYS." Emma shouted, "I found something cool!"
Emma showed them a really strange lake. It wasn't in the original bay, and had aura all over it.
"Do you guys know Nen?" Killua wondered.
"Yeah. I'm a Transmuter, Normans a Manipulator, and Emma is an Enhancer."
"We've got to go now." Norman smiled, "Nice knowing you."
They left.
They came back the next day because Emma wanted to see more of the cool stuff.
Gon and his friends were happy to help them. During that process everyone's Nen was revealed.
Gon tried to fish in the lake, he really did, but his fishing rod would float up after a while.
"Oh wow." Killua had noted when a monster emerged from the forest intent on chomping them down. Killua blasted lightning at it. The monster growled in pain.
Then Ray turned his aura into flames and shoved it down the monsters mouth. It was not a good ending for the poor beast.
After a while Gon and his friends hung out with Emma, Norman, and Ray much more often.
Norman was a manipulator, though due to a disease they were in the process of curing, most of the aura was used to manipulate his cells to heal. Emma was a basic enhancer. At some point Alluka was visiting occasionally.
HXH + TPN:
In reality, only a week had passed, but for Emma, every one of her new friends were equivalent to family. She did feel bad for Gilda and Don for shoveling all the responsibilities on them. Norman and Ray seemed to share a special bond with everyone. Sometimes Emma would feel really upset that she had lost her memory and couldn't share this feeling as well. And sometimes out of nowhere, she would feel scared for her family.
Maybe it wasn't out of nowhere.
Ray hummed a song. Emma had heard him hum it a lot and though it reminded her of something, she couldn't remember what.
"Hey what song is that?" Killua pondered.
"Just a tune my..mom taught me." Ray stuttered awkwardly.
"Cool." Killua leaned over and whispered something in Ray's ear.
"For siblings Norman looks Emma funny." Killua whispered in Ray's ear.
"Yeah." Ray agreed, "We're orphans."
"Oh, so this mother you guys are talking about, not your real mother?" Gon said.
"No, she's my biological mother, but no one elses." Ray clarified miserably.
"Why the tone?" Kurapika asked.
"Mama's dead." Norman replied flatly. No one knew what to do with that statement.
Killua kind of wished that his mother was dead sometimes, but he didn't think sharing that with his friends would do any good. Emma looked confused, strangely enough.
Gon was still having problems understanding humans from disguised beasts, despite the thousands of times Norman had tried explaining to him. The difference was small, the expressions of the frauds never changed, and they couldn't stray too far from the aura tainted lake.
Killua, Gon, Kurapika, Emma, Ray, Norman, and Leorio all sat down aligned to the lake.
"We should name this." Emma declared.
"It probably already has a name." Ray countered.
"Then we shall rename it."
"Why?"
"I dunno."
"If we are going to name it, we should call it Lake Tercemar." Norman suggested.
"Really? I was thinking of Chain Jail." Emma commented.
Kurapika choked, "Why's that?"
"I dunno. Because it sounds cool."
Killua slapped his forehead. Chain Jail was Kurapika's strongest weapon, but he was fairly certain Kurapika hadn't chosen the name because it had 'sounded cool'.
"Hey about your mother…" Leorio paused.
"Oh look it's Bisky!" Gon exclaimed.
Bisky, on a raft on top of the lake, made a surprised expression. Killua relaxed since the expression change meant that it wasn't a frau-
Just when Gon had jumped on the raft to talk to Bisky, Killua and Ray noticed her feet. They were claws, hardly visible, but apparent. The only conclusion was that Fake Bisky had sacrificed some of its humanly appearance for expression changing abilities.
"Wait Go-" too late, Gon had landed on the raft.
Bisky proceeded to transform into a monster.
Gon got angry. "FIRST COMES ROCK." Monster Bisky blinked, "PAPER, ROCK!"
The monster exploded, but do you want to know what else exploded? The raft. Gon tumbled into the river.
The river was murky and seemed to try to drag him down, but Gon wasn't worried. He swam towards the shore easily, using Nen to boost himself and fight the resistance. A seaweed snagged his ankle.
He slammed into Zetsu.
Killua watched with apparent confusion as Gon began to sink. "The seaweed!" Kurapika yelled.
Ray gasped. Killua was going to go in but he would have to be fast enough to deal with the seaweed and grab Gon without getting caught himself. He could manage this with godspeed-Killua began charging up.
"Are you stupid?" Ray screamed, "Water conducts electricity the best!"
Killua eyes were wide open. Panicking. Kurapika was wishing that his chain jail wasn't restricted to the Phantom Troupe. Leorio was trying to teleport his hand to the water, yet the aura in the water was blocking it.
"NO!" Norman screamed. Emma had plunged into the water full enhancer mode.
Gon looked drowsily up from the water. Emma's figure of a hand reached out towards him. Gon reached out. Emma's hand bypassed his and unstrapped his fishing rod. It floated up.
At the shore everyone was freaking out.
"Oh MY GOD THAT IDIOT!" Ray shouted.
Then Gon's fishing rod showed itself from the lake. Killua used his Yoyo's to try to reach it, it was just out of reach. Leorio teleported his hand just enough to grab the grip.
Emma looked up from the Seaweed monster. Please, please, she pleaded internally. The rod went down, right before a seaweed snagged her, she clenched onto the hook. Desperately.
Killua, Ray, Norman, Kurapika and Leorio were pulling. It wasn't doing anything. Kurapika was panicking, first his clan now his best friend? No. He paused.
"Pull at once." he yelled, "Like the testing gate."
Norman and Ray looked a little confused but got the jist. Progress increased.
Emma gripped on the hook and Gon like her life depended on it. It did. If she let go of Gon now, who was practically sunken into seaweed, she would live. No. She was escaping with everyone. No one can be left behind.
The hook tore her skin. Blood rushed out. But that wasn't her concern, she had to keep pulling. She had to save everyone.
Emma had never felt this close to death. She had felt something like this with Leuvis. Leuvis. Who was that? Leuvis. Leuvis. Leuvis.
She remembered sharp, cold claws penetrating the space underneath her lungs. The blood and the pain. She remembered standing beside her friends, fighting a demon. Leuvis.
But most of all she remembered the raw desire to keep on living. For her family.
Something tore. Not her hand, though she could taste the blood and salt on her lips as her oxygen was deprived. The roots of the Seaweed Monster tore. Her Nen came back. Using her last adrenaline and Nen reservoir she kicked up, Gon was helping too, though he was the most oxygen lacking of the two of them.
We're all going to live. Everyone. Together.
They reached the shore, and Emma lost consciousness.
"They're both breathing." Dr. Leorio declared after bandaging Emma's hand wound.
Ray, Norman, and Killua practically collapsed in relief.
"Thank God, thank god, thank god." Norman cried.
Emma stirred. Ray and Norman rushed over. "I remember Leuvis…" she murmured.
When Mito heard about Gon she cried. She then decided to thank Norman, Killua. Kurapika, Leorio and Ray profusely. Norman and Ray stayed by Emma's side the entire time. If Killua walked by the room, he would hear hints of the tune that he heard Ray hum.
Gon woke up before Emma, and he was bombarded by hugs by Killua, Leorio, and Kurapika. Mito hugged him so hard, it was basically choking. Ray and Norman patted him on the back.
Then Emma woke up, and before either Norman or Ray could hug her, she asked, "Is everyone safe?"
Ray basically laughed and hugged her. Mito came in and thanked her and hugged her. Gon also thanked her.
