Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story. This one about DC Superhero Girls. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I don't own DC SG, DC does.

The figure threw himself onto another building. He was quite interested in why Metropolis was so quiet. Then again? He had heard from his father how much this city was under guard.

"Huh, I didn't expect it to be so interesting… Then again?" The figure asked as he looked upon the city. "It shouldn't surprise me, dad kept telling me how dangerous this city could be…. Those heroes must be watching over the entire city, should be rather cool." The figure said while he looked to the side.

He could only hope that there were more interesting things soon. It was SO boring back home before he and his family moved to here. It was QUITE droll back there and from what he heard? Here was supposed to be where magic and wonder and insanity came to life… And for him? This insanity would be his escape.

"I should get home or else he's going to have my head, always fretting about things." He said while looking to himself and brushing off his jacket.

His father would soon be bickering with other millionaires when it came down to it. Lexcorp especially would go after their massive company. He couldn't do much at the moment, that was the point of being a 16-year-old teen.

"Master Lord?" He heard which caused him to look over his shoulder at the man with a roll of my eyes.

"That's what you call my dad, Berny." The boy said as he stepped down from his perch. "It's just Ren." Ren said while he brushed off his jacket.

The family butler allowed the young boy into the home that his father had bought him. Ren sighed and looked up at the gaudy ceiling at the moment.

He was quite curious as to why his father liked old fashion houses; it would become rather odd in his opinion but then again? He was nothing like his father, his father was smart, crafty. He didn't do something unless it had a purpose, it was why his father was a successful businessman.

Then again? Ren was considered the least like his father to begin with, his goal was to be something interesting, something new.

Ren followed the family butler down the stairs and into the parlor. He cleared his throat a moment later as Berny turned to look at the youngest child of the family.

"You know he's not here, Berny." Ren said, a raised eyebrow as he turned to the side. "He's never here, he's always at work. I don't think I've ever seen him come here unless it's an emergency." Ren said while he looked up at the fancy mansion his family owned at the moment.

"Master Lord doesn't hate you like you seem to believe he does, Master Ren." Berny said while Ren crossed his arms and then turned to him. "He is the owner of a company, one which has paid for this home… Paid for millions of people to have their jobs." Berny added which caused Ren to frown.

"I know, but that doesn't mean he cant even call." Ren said while rubbing at his temples. "He's not once talked to us… To mom, it feels like all he focuses on is work." Ren said before sighing and going to lay down.

Berny said nothing and turned to look away from the son of the family patriarch. He knew the man worked hard and his son knew that more then anyone. It wasn't like Maxwell didn't come home or speak to his family once… Ever.

But to Ren? He might as well have. It made Berny sigh, but there was very little that he could say or do to quell the rage that the teenager felt at the moment, still not enough to make him reconsider the effect his words had on others at the moment.

"Perhaps his new home at the school will help douse the rage he feels." Berny said while he turned to look to the side. "I must attend to the lady of the house… And inform Master Lord what would be happening to his son soon enough." Berny said before turning and departing down the hall.

There would be far many things to inform the man who wanted to be business mogul in Metropolis.

Phew. First chapter done! I want to point out that next chapter will be in 2-10 months or so. I am also going to make a Supergirl story soon. Next chapter will show Ren meeting Cheetah and set up him getting superpowers and such. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
