Hi! This is my third attempt at a fanfic and this time I'm following through! This will follow the Wings of Fire series with a lot of changes. The characters and main plot will be the same (Ending a war, finding their families, etc) but the biggest change will be that their humans. If you don't like those kinds of stories (Which I don't blame you) then you might want to click off. There won't be any major characters that aren't in the book (if it's a background character with like one sentence of dialogue obviously I'll come up with something) I don't know how long the chapter will take, but I will try to make them pretty long. So, I really can't think of a way to change the aspect of them being hatched from eggs (Book 2, 3 and Clay as a character) So I hope you can suspend your disbelief just long enough to ignore the fact that humans lay eggs in this world. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the beginning of this story!
Burn didn't have much fun these days. Trying to kill your little sisters when they are far across the continent takes a lot longer than you would think and it led to many meetings and being surrounded by guards. (Who were WAY weaker than her. SHE could take them all down by herSELF.) and all of this leads to her being unable to duel or go on a fun hunting trip for scouts and spies from the other kingdoms. Then this little guy decided to steal a skywing egg. Not just any skywing egg, but one that would hatch when the three moons were all high in the sky. Now he was tied up and she held the egg firmly in her hands.
"So, what brings someone from the kingdom of ice to queen Scarlet's domain?" She asked rhetorically. Seeing as how the Ice wing couldn't speak with his mouth being gagged, he could only glare at the princess. "Or could you be one of those "Talons of peace" Idiots? Doesn't really matter. You'll meet the same fate either way. You can take out the cloth, I would like to hear why this pawn is taking part in a Sandwing matter." The guards did as they were told and the Ice wing remained silent for a while until he found what to say. "You and your sisters brought us all into this when you turned the kingdoms against each other!"
Burn narrowed her eyes. "I wanted a fair challenge. THEY chose to drag this out."
The Ice wing responded. "Is it true that you sent a letter to queen Scarlet that you wanted to attack us Icewings together?" Burn shrugged her shoulders. "No evidence that that truly took place, even if it did, I would still be in the right to rule.
"You wanted a war either way. You're just not happy to be ruling your whole kingdom PRINCESS Burn."
Burn then used her free hand to slug the Ice wing as hard as she could. "QUEEN Burn."
"Not until your sisters are dead." He said smugly. "Unless the heroes of destiny choose you, you'll only be a princess."
Burn grinned. "Oh, you mean that little prophecy? Well, I wonder if it will still work with only four." The Ice wing realized what she was about to do but was stopped when a guard shoved the cloth back in his mouth. Burn broke through the shell and forced the child out of it, she then grabbed its neck and through it off the cliff deep below. A part of her wanted to watch it fall but she decided on watching the Icewing fall to the ground in sorrow. "There, problem solved!" She said as she turned to head back to the Sky palace. A guard turned to the princess. "Umm, what should we do with the prisoner?" Burn groaned. "You have a sword for a reason." She then turned and walked back to the path.
