In the not too distant past on Themyscira of Earth Prime

A little boy sat alone on the shore of the Northern beach called Voreios. With his knees curled up into his chest he cried. Off in the distance his mother stood. Her heart broke as she heard the cries of her son. As she approached him she heard him mutter…

"I hate being different…"

The woman knelt down beside her child. She wrapped her arms around him.

"Don't say such things my little one," she said as she held him close.

"Then why do they hate me here?" he replied. " I thought you said this was our home…"

The woman looked down at her son and gave him a kiss atop his head.

"They don't hate you little one," she said softly. "Even if they don't understand it, this is your home too."

The little boy's eyes grew red as he felt the sadness overwhelm him. He turned around and looked into his mother's eyes. There was a massive healed over gash across her right eye. His tiny hands reached out and caressed her old wound. His anger faded because he saw the sadness on his mother's face.

"I want to go back to Apokolips," he replied. "You're not safe here…"

The woman saw great wisdom in the eyes of her young 5 year old son.

"We will soon," the woman replied softly. "But there's somewhere we must go before we do…"

She extended her hand out to her son. He grabbed it.

"J'onzz can you teleport us to Smallville, please," she said.

The little boy looked puzzled as he mother spoke aloud to no one. She paused for a moment before replying…

"Thank you old friend…"

In a flash the little boy and the woman vanished into thin air. Inside the ether the little boy wrapped his arms around his mother's legs. As they reappeared the young boy and his mother found themselves in front of a house with a wrap around porch. There was an older woman seated in a chair.

"Diana?" the old woman called out.

The old woman got out of her seat and walked over the railings as she spoke. She held up her hand to block the harsh sun beaming down on her.

"Hello Martha," the woman said back with a smile on her face.

"Mercy me!" the old woman shouted as she slowly rushed down the steps. "It's been too long my dear…"

The little boy hid behind his mother as the old woman approached them.

"I know," the woman replied back as she embraced the old woman.

As the old woman embraced the younger one, she noticed the young boy behind them.

"Oh my…" the old woman gasped.

The little boy buried his face into the back of his mother's legs.

"Please don't be afraid Jonathan," the old woman said softly.

"How do you know my name?" he asked as he peeked from behind his mother.

The old woman laughed.

"Because she's your other grandmother," the woman said softly. "This is your grandmother Martha…"

The little boy looked at the old woman's face as she knelt down to his level.

"It's wonderful to finally meet you," she said.

The younger woman urged her son to go up to the old woman. He hesitated for a moment.

"She's longed to meet you little one," she cooed. "Go on…"

The little boy gradually walked over to the old woman and stood in front of her. The old woman closed the gap between them and embraced him.

"Welcome home Jonathan," she said into his ear. "Welcome home…"

The little boy felt the warmth from the old woman and eventually he returned her embrace.

"You look just like your father," the old woman added as she kissed his rosy cheeks. "The spitting image of him…"

The younger woman cleared her throat causing the old woman to look up from the child.

"We can't stay too long here," the younger woman replied.

"You must stay for dinner, Diana," the old woman said desperately. "Clark won't be home anytime soon. He's off doing a story with Lois. Please Diana…"

The young woman sighed, "Only because I love you so much Martha…"

The old woman stood to her feet and took the little boy's hand.

"Come now Jonathan," she said with a smile. "Let me get you some of my famous Kent casserole…"

The old woman walked back towards the house leaving the young woman outside. She walked them enter the house. Once they were inside the young woman looked over her shoulder. She felt a rush of wind approaching. An unnatural wind that meant only one thing. She closed her eyes and said a soft pray to Gaia to give her strength. She felt the warmth of his embrace.

"I've missed you," she heard in her ear.

"You can't be here," she said back, keeping her eyes closed.

"Yet here I am," he replied.

"He'll know," she replied.

The young woman felt herself turn to face someone. She felt their touch under her chin. Her eyes opened. She saw him, grizzled with fire in his eyes.

"And I'll end his Earth 1 ass if he comes near either of you again," he replied.

"You aren't a killer Kal," she replied.

The man before he sighed lowering his shoulders.

"But I've lost everything I hold dear," he answered.

As she spoke he looked through the house behind them. He looked at his own son with his mother. The boy was smiling and laughing.

"It's time to end this," the man said.

The woman was taken aback.

"Kal, we can't put the rest of them in danger," she said.

"I'll do what I need to," he said firmly. "Because I'm getting my family back."

The man embraced the woman.

"But he is your family…" the woman said softly.

"He stopped being my family once he hurt you," the man replied as he brushed his thumb across the scar on the woman's face.

"We must be careful Kal," she said.

"No more hiding, Diana," he said. "Let him come. I'll be ready for him."

Several minutes later Earth Prime

A lone man sat atop a planet of rubble. Blackened eyes looked out on what he had done. Wrapped in an ashen cape that was once the brightest of crimson red, he held out his hand to the heavens.

"I did it mother," he cooed. "I killed her and her bastard…"

"Good my son…"

Behind the seated man appeared a purple haired woman. She smiled from ear to ear.

"She took everything from us…" she added coldly. "But you have brought us justice…"

Placing her hand on his shoulder she opened the multiverse before him.

"Sadly my precious Jon there are other worlds out there just like this one," she cooed as she leaned into his ear. "This is the original earth so the rest of the multiverse must copy it in some way. There are other versions of your half brother out there…"

The seated man's eyes slowly grew red as the woman behind him spoke.

"I will kill them," he growled. "I will kill them all.

The purple woman behind him faded. With a laugh she said…

"Go to Earth-52 Jon, go to Earth-52,"
