Screen Write
First, off, this is one scene. So, before I get started with the scene, I have some things to explain.
Protagonist- Sonic the Hedgehog wants nothing more than to sate his undeniable, almost out of control hunger. He needs food desperately for himself, his wife, and his six kids. When that opportunity for salvation appears, he believes that getting what he needs peacefully will be the proper way.
Antagonist- In these scene, Shadow the Hedgehog. Shadow also wants nothing more than to sate his hunger as well. However, he disagrees with Sonic on how to do so. He knows that the others will take the same opportunity, so he suggests killing everyone who gets in the way/tries to kill him.
Pivotal Characters- Knuckles, Peaches (my OC), Tails, and Amy are for Sonic's method while the rest of the Unnamed Village is for Shadow's method.
Intentions/Motive- All the characters practically want the same thing. They're all there for the same reason and are in conflict with their survival instincts and how to get what they want.
So, without further ado, here we go.
[Ext. Forest/Village clearing.]
[The sky is filled with a large sheet of gray clouds. SONIC HEDGEHOG (18) comes into the clearing with PEACHES ROBOTNIK (16), AMY ROSE (18), TAILS PROWER (14), and KNUCLES ECHIDNA (19). SHADOW HEDGEHOG, along with some VILLAGERS, appear behind the group.]
Shadow: I see you're after the same thing I am, Faker.
[SONIC turns to SHADOW, his face expressionless.]
Sonic: Stay out of my way, Shadow. I don't want to hurt you.
Shadow (scoffing): You wouldn't hurt me anyway. That's what makes you weak. You need to be violent and crush those in your way to get what you want.
[SONIC's eyes widen in surprise.]
Sonic: But, that's wrong! Imagine all the innocent lives you'd end! For nothing!
Shadow (snarling): Not for nothing, Sonic. For food. (SONIC's stomach growls) Starving to death hasn't made you any stronger, fool. And I can see desire rising in you. Don't hold back.
[SHADOW smirks wickedly. SONIC's stomach growls again, and he knows SHADOW's right about his weakness. KNUCKLES is clearly ticked off.]
Knuckles (snarling): Back off, dude! Sonic's right. If we do this peacefully, there will be enough for all.
[SHADOW returns the snarl.]
Shadow (ragefully): There will never be enough for us all! Look around you! What do you see?!
[The group looks around. TAILS locks gazes with SHADOW.]
Tails (innocent and thoughtful): Nothing. . .
Shadow: Right! And that's what will become of us unless we kill whomever comes at us!
[SHADOW looks at the group insanely. PEACHES has a look of disapproval on her face.]
Peaches: You're crazy! That'll destroy us even faster!
Shadow (rage): Crazy, am I? Then, how about I begin the destruction of our Unnamed Village starting with him?! (pointing to SONIC.)
[The gray sky has darkened. Both parties assumed battle stances, chests heaving. SHADOW turns his gaze to the VILLAGERS defending his method.]
Villagers: Let's get 'em!
Shadow: Attack! Leave no survivors!
Sonic: No!
[Multiple bodies engage, a battle ensuring to be a bloodbath ensues, thunder rolls in darkened clouds and rain falls.]
