In a fit of terrible and stupid attitude, I had deleted this story before. After a while, I reposted it.

I don't expect anyone to return to this, nor do I expect the reviews to come piling back on.

Welcome back to the story.

The city was busy. Busy, but peaceful.

As the cars jammed the streets, people talked to each other about their day, their life, and other non-sensical things on the sidewalks. Children bounded down everywhere, filling the chatter of life with their laughter.

Skyscrapers surrounded the majority of the populace, with very few places where the city didn't encompass all. One such place held, instead, a single lofty building. This building saw many young men and women enter and spend their time learning. An illustrious school, as seen by the public.

Yes, the city could be the definition of normal. Busy and peaceful.

But peace can only last so long in this world. Fate has foreseen this.

Many events will come to ruin this peaceful city.

One such event will happen now.

High above the city, in a place no cloud has touched, a hole opened in the sky. Within it was a swirl of black, gray, and white. From the middle of the swirl, a form began to appear. With an outstretched hand, the figure pushed against a semi-translucent dark membrane that enveloped the entrance to the hole, before the membrane popped.

This figure, a young man with golden hair, stated his first words of this new world as he fell towards its surface.

"FUUUUUUUUCK!"

"Okay," the teenager said, righting his position to be horizontal with the ground, arms and legs spread out. "I'm falling. Need to fix that."

The boy thrust both hands and feet forward, in what seems to be an attempt to prevent his fall.

Nothing happened.

"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO MY POWERS?!"

Seeing as a city was getting closer, the boy rushed through his mind the abilities that he had picked up from his adventure that would be helpful in his current situation.

Chi? Nothing.

Reiatsu? The skyscrapers still seemed to be coming faster than necessary.

...Natural flight? The building was meters away.

"GAH!" the boy was freaking out. Running out of abilities that brought flight to mind, he began searching his body for his other powers.

Surprisingly, a warmth flowed through his body when he went to the first energy he brought to mind. With no time to waste, he brought his hands close to him to have them fly through multiple hand-signs before thrusting them forward.

Wind Art: Gale Palm.

A strong wind burst from his palms, slowing his descent only marginally. Forcing the technique to fire multiple times, he managed to slowly bring his fall from miles per hour to a few feet per second.

This allowed him to safely land on the white skyscraper immediately below him, blowing up some dust from the flat rooftop from the last use of wind. Now with something under his feet, he began to pat himself down, then knocked on the side of his head to remove any dust in his ears.

"I'm happy to see you made it safe, Phillip"

Oh, you're here. Phillip thought back to the voice in his head. Could you run management? A lot of my powers seemed to be missing.

"They aren't missing. I have sealed them."

Phillip's face became deadpan to this. What?

"I want to see how you deal with limited resources in this world."

Wait, Phillip immediately paled at this. Does that mean-

"Yes, your monetary cheat has also been sealed."

Phillip slumped that this, in the realization that he had entered this world with no money and no immediate way of making any.

"There's nothing to worry about. I'm sure you'll find something to help. You have been to many dimensions and learned many principles."

Yeah, well, let's see if any of them mean anything here.

Phillip stood up and walked to the edge of the rooftop to look out onto the city. Seeing the number of people and buildings, he actually felt overwhelmed for the first time since the start of his journey.

Where are we, anyway?

"Well, let me collect data from around the world first."

Phillip rose an eyebrow at this before he yawned into his palm. Once the sensation died down, the voice returned.

"Apparently, this place is called Nagazora."

So, I'm running on only chakra right now? Phillip asked the voice as he walked down the street in the dark of night.

Phillip had stayed at the top of the building until nightfall. Once it had come, Phillip was able to use his chakra to stick to the wall of the skyscraper facing the city and rush down before anyone noticed. It helped that most of his attire consisted of black: black pants, and a black hoodie. The only that wasn't black was his shirt and shoes, but they were a dark enough blue to blend in with the darkness of night. The only tricky part was the street lamps, but he got out without notice.

"Sort of. Your only attacking energy is chakra, but your healing capabilities have remained untouched."

What about equipment?

"Also sealed."

So insistent on understanding his predicament, Phillip didn't notice someone walking towards him until he bumped into them. As he had forced his body to the limit during his travels, the bump wasn't much of an upset to him. However, the person almost immediately began to fall backward.

Acting quickly, Phillip grabbed the person's outstretched arm to prevent them from falling on their ass but put too much strength into pulling them to their feet. This caused them to fall forward into Phillip's chest.

As the person was barely shorter than himself, the person's head landed on his shoulder and chests pressed against each other. Now completely flushed, Phillip could now confirm that the person was definitely female, but he couldn't get a good look at her face. She shifted herself to let her see him, and his chocolate brown eyes met a bright baby blue.

Phillip swallowed before asking, "Are you alright?"

With a push, the girl separated herself from him. "Watch where you're going!" She rushed past him, muttering, "Baka," as she did so.

Phillip watched her leave and rubbed the back of his neck. "The hell's her problem?"

"Might have something to do with the fact you bumped into her … or that her chest pressed against you."

I didn't mean anything by it.

"Yes, but that didn't stop you from watching her hips as she left, did it?"

Phillip flushed and covered his eyes with his hand. Another question, how old am I?

"You're 15, with the year being 2012."

Really? Phillip was surprised at this. With how many times his age has been adjusted to match the world around him, he wasn't expecting at any time to be close to his original age.

"Don't be too excited. We need to establish residence, job, and education."

I don't think I can get two of those things, Phillip replied with a huff, back to walking into the city. And the third is required for the other two to work.

"Fantastic point. Very well. Tomorrow morning, we shall head towards the school."

Which one?

"The most illustrious, of course." Phillip could feel the cockiness from this statement. "I believe it's called Senba High."

That's going to cost a fortune.

"Yes, that's why this will be the only time I allow the cheat."

Phillip smiled ear to ear at this. Gabriel, you're the best!

"I know."

With some investigation work and some asking around, Phillip was able to discern the location of Senba High School. Though, there was far more investigation work needed than he thought because Phillip only ever learned how to speak French, not any far east language. The only time he was able to ask someone was when he managed to find a translation book, where he did his best to ask questions. Most found him confusing, but enough were able to get him on his way.

Once at the school, he directed himself to the faculty office. There, using what he could, Phillip tried his best to convince them to allow him an audience with the principal. The language barrier was still a complete disaster until the faculty directed him to an English teacher. Granted, it still wasn't easy to convince them, but he managed after showing them his very own magic trick: dropping enough money on their desks until enough of them relented.

Once being allowed into the principal's office, Phillip let out a sigh.

Sure you can do this?

"Perfectly."

Phillip closed his eyes and stood perfectly still as a faint light surrounded him. Once it had disappeared, Phillip opened his eyes, which were now dark gray. With a wave of his hand, several suitcases appeared beside the office's door. Picking up one and a smirk placed firmly on his face; Phillip opened the door.

A short, pudgy, pale lump of an old man that was stuffed into a brown suit, complete with red bow tie and black shoes, sat on a couch in the middle of the room. Next to him stood a tall, black-haired butler with a sharp face.

The old man jumped, tea and a biscuit almost leaped from his hands along with him, as Phillip opened the door, before scowling at the smirking, younger man.

"What the hell are you doing?! Security!"

Normally, Phillip wouldn't understand a single thing that came out of the lump, but this was anything but normal.

"Are you the principal of this school?" Phillip asked, stated in the same language as the old man yelled before.

"Who are you?! An assassin!?" The butler sprang into action at the old man's words, pulling a sharp dagger from his sleeve.

"Relax," Phillip spoke calmly, raising both hands at the weapon. "I come with a proposition."

The old man looked both amused and interested. "Oh?"

"You wish to obtain education within this school, and you are willing to pay for it? "

"Absolutely."

The principal looked like he was soaking in the information before jolting back in laughter at this, shaking at every heave of breath.

"You fool. You think you can just walk in here and get something with just confidence and snark! This is the school of the rich! Billionaires spend millions to send their children here-"

Phillip, without waiting for the principal to end his sentence, and never losing his smirk, placed the suitcase he brought with him on the table that separated them and opened it.

The old man's spit drowned out the words of his spiel, enamored by the stacks of paper money that filled the suitcase.

However, the old man swallowed and then continued, though far more polite. "As I said, Millions were used to send each student to this school. I simply can't stab our backers in the back just to allow one-"

"Approximately 32 other suitcases are leaning on the wall just outside the office."

The old man was literally drooling at this, before steeling himself and sent his butler out to check. The butler brought each case in individually.

"Each case has the same amount, sir: 10 million each. All of it is authentic."

"T-Thank you, Zhon," the principal then turned to Phillip. "I'm sure we can come to some arrangement."

"I wish to be enrolled by next week."

"Splendid!" The principal hollered in delight. "Now, off you go. I have … money to count."

Phillip nodded, ever smirking, as he stood from his chair and turned away from the duo, who were stuffing the suitcases under anything they could to hide them away from any eyes. With a sigh that escaped his nose, Phillip walked out of the office …

… and into a young woman pacing outside the door. Bumping into each other, the girl fell back with an "eep!" escaping her lips. Once again, Phillip prevented her fall.

However, this time, it was different. Instead of grabbing the falling girl by the arm, Phillip interlaced his left hand with her right and used his other arm to wrap around her waist. In the end, the two looked like a scene from a romance movie.

The girl had white hair tied into two large braids. She was wearing a white shirt with a black collar and cuffs that had a yellow stripe in them. Her skirt was brown with dark brown stripes, and brown shoes with black leggings that rode up to mid-thigh.

However, the most striking feature was her baby blue eyes.

"Oh," Phillip said, leaning closer as his lips grew closer to hers with every breath. "A gentle snowflake falls into my arms."

The girl blinked twice before flushing velvet. She yanked her hand out of his, only to cup hers together and bash the side of Phillip's head, sending him into the wall. With a huff, she strode into the office Phillip walked out of, slamming the door as she did.

Sitting up, Phillip chuckled. "Well, your crush is here. Why don't you take over?" With faint light coming and going, Phillip's eyes shifted back to brown.

He groaned. Jesus Christ, what did you do while I was gone? I feel like I got hit by a train!

"Oh, that's nothing compared to what you've handled already." Phillip rolled his eyes at this and stood up.

He was about to walk away when Gabriel spoke up again. "Don't leave yet. Go to the door and listen in."

Phillip didn't really feel the need but deciding that the angel in him knew something, he followed the orders. Getting close to the hinges of the door, Phillip placed his ear close and pumped chakra into his ears to enhance his hearing. Gabriel decoded the language so Phillip could actually hear them.

"Now, I understand your interest in this school, miss ..."

"Kaslana."

"Miss Kaslana. However, I do not believe you actually met the credentials of this school."

"B-But my files show that-"

"Yes, yes, your files state that you've met the criteria, but further study of those files shows that-"

"Sir, a word, if you will."

Phillip heard this and got suspicious of the butler's intentions. More than likely, the butler had pulled the principal from whoever he was talking to and whispered something. Phillip pumped more chakra into his ears.

"Sir, I understand her files are more than likely frauds. However, she, herself, is not the worst looking girl that has passed through these halls."

"Oh. Zhon, are you suggesting we-"

"Yes, sir. Give or take three years, and she might be viable for the sex trade."

"Then we'll trap her at her graduation. Give her time to build herself up and then tear her down at the last second. It will make her extra vulnerable."

"My thoughts exactly, sir."

"Though, can she hear us? I've heard a rumor that Kaslana's have strong senses."

"Not to worry. I've worked with many Kaslanas. We've been speaking at a decibel that even they can't hear."

"Good. Though, I've also heard of a rogue Kaslana. Maybe this is the one. There's quite a bounty on them, placed by Schicksal itself."

"Let's stick to the first plan, sir, and then alternate should the first go sour."

"Very well. Let's introduce the young lady, shall we? Huhu..."

At this point, Phillip was already seeing red. The last bits just cemented his reaction even more. Standing right in front of the door, he lifted his foot to break the door down.

"Wait!"

Why the hell should I?! They're talking about selling her as a sex slave!

"I get that, but you still need to be in a school of some sort."

Phillip gritted his teeth before pulling his knee even closer than before. He didn't care if he lost his place. He was going in there and breaking the two fucker's jaws!

"Quick, go back to the wall and slump over! Now!"

Hearing the urgency in Gabriel's voice, Phillip, reluctantly, relinquished his desire and followed the orders. Just as he was about to ask why, the door burst open, followed by a girl screaming "Yes!" to high heaven over and over again, all while dancing a circle. Granted, she stopped at something, if the squeak was anything to go by, and murmured something along the lines of "perverted flirt," before running down the hallway.

Phillip stood up and watch the girl disappear, before turning to the still open doors. The two males inside smiled a happy smile that Phillip now knew held the worst kind of intentions.

"The girl won't be coming here this year. Next year is more likely, which gives us time."

Phillip smiled at that answer and then gave it to the two inside the office. "Here, let me get this for you." He closed the door.

"If they wish to trap the girl, then we'll lay a trap for them first. It'll make it all the easier-"

-to slide in the knife.

"Well, now that school is out of the way, what next?" Phillip spoke to himself, walking the, once again, darkened streets of Nagazora.

"I would suggest residence, but a job would probably be best."

I wish it would be easy to get either, Phillip thought back, walking into an alley. An alley will probably be our best bet in shelter, but no one is looking for a street rat when it comes to a job.

Lost in his thoughts, Phillip walked past a building that was large in size. From the ground-floor windows, one could see a small restaurant inside. A dejected owner stood inside until he saw Phillip walking by.

The owner ran out of his building and called for Phillip. When Phillip noticed, the owner waved at him to follow into the building. Doing so, the two confronted each other while they sat at a booth.

"Ah, a white man in our country? You will be lost quickly here."

"Y-yeah," Phillip stuttered. This was honestly his first honest conversation here, so he was sort of nervous.

"Where do you live?" The question made Phillip blush and look away from the man. "What do you do for work?" Phillip was leaning into his seat now, blushing harder. "What about your parents?" Phillip's back was now parallel to his seat, with only his head hitting the back, face fully red.

The man chuckled. "I see from your reaction that all of these are trouble." The man stood up and reached out his hand. "I can provide you both lodging and work if you'd like."

"Really?!" Phillip looked at the man with hope. Killing two birds with one stone sounded perfect to him.

"Of course!" the owner exclaimed. "This place used to be an inn before the original owner died. Then I bought it."

The man gestured to the surroundings. "I've tried to renovate it into a restaurant, but there have been so few customers as of late. I can't afford a full workforce, so I was hoping you could work here, and in return, I'll give you a room from the part I haven't demolished, and I'll still pay you."

"Yes sir!" Phillip responded, happy he accomplished what he needed so quickly. He bowed his head, gave thanks to the man, took the key to a room, and ran up the staircase that was hidden in the back of the restaurant.

In his excitement, he never saw how the glint in the owner's eyes became malicious, and the smile that offered sympathy became malevolent.

Once Phillip found his room, he opened the door and walked in.

The room was sort of standard, from what Phillip had dealt with before. Striped wallpaper, one window, wooden floor, and bed with sheets that matched the wallpaper. The only things that were different were that the room didn't have its own bathroom, there was only really a single desk outside of the bed as furniture, and there was a lot of dust. Granted, the dust was reasonable.

Using his chakra, Phillip whipped up a small suction sphere in between his hands. The sphere pulled all the dust towards it and, when all the dust had been collected, Phillip opened his window to release the dust into the city.

With the room as clean as Phillip needs it to be, Phillip plopped himself onto the bed and released a sigh of relief.

Well, now what's next?

"Catch up. You have a week until you're in school, and none of your adventures required you to remember requirements to school."

Aw, well... that's what the clones are for.

"You'll be pushing them to the max. I want top ten out of you before the end of this year."

Phillip smiled to himself. "Life is great."

Hello There! First, I would like to address those that follow me as an author.

If your question is: "Why are you making another story when you haven't finished the other one, and that one was been on hiatus for a long time?"

The answer is simple: The reason why the other hasn't been finished is that I have this story floating around in my brain and it won't come down until I put it down.

Now to the others: if you noticed the vagueness in some parts of the story, it's because Nagazora doesn't have a confirmed location, so I don't know what to use at the current time. I use vagueness for reader interpretation.

Finally, I appreciate constructive criticism.

Thank you for reading!
