Kai looked him right in the eyes. "You never quit, You fought hard jay. i bet shes proud." A car pulled up and Cole jumped out.
"come on Guys. time to go home." Kai and Jay nodded. as the fallowed him into his car.
Back at the monastery, Kai disided that he would try and sleep. Kai told jay to try and sleep too, But jay shook his head saying that he wouldn't be able to.
Soon silence filled the building, as the moon rose. around midnight, Kai gave up on sleeping and when to the courtyard. He stopped when he saw Jay half asleep laying on the ground, looking up to the star filled sky.
"you need to get to bed Jay." kai said as he sat next to him. jay shook his head.
"I wasn't asking." kai said in a low voice. Jay sat up with tears in his eyes.
"you don't get it kai! Every time i close my eyes shes there! it hurts Kai!" Kai was startled by his yelling. Jay put his head down.

"come on brother, we need to sleep. you'll feel better after." Jay nodded. he fallowed Kai to the rooms and when they were about to part ways Jay paused. "Kai?"

"if i were to ask you for your blessing, what would you have said..?"
Kai didnt even hesitate before he answered. "of course, you made her happy. you earned my blessing a long time ago Jay." Kai turned and shut his door.
Jay climbed into bed and slept a kinda peaceful sleep.
