A/N: Just a super short drabble based on a prompt I found on Tumblr. Part of my trying to get back into writing, getting over writer's block attempts. I'm always looking for more prompts if you have some!

It was a free period, so all the students were milling about and talking. Marinette Dupain-Chang was the only one still in her seat, her sketchbook open to a ballgown design she was working on, her coloured pencils spilling out of her pencil case. Even though she wanted to work on her fashion design she couldn't resist the temptation to eavesdrop on her classmates.
Chloe was going on and on about some party she was throwing that Marinette wasn't invited to, again. Marinette had rolled her eyes at the lack of invitation, not particularly wanting to go to Chloe's party but she couldn't help but feel left out as everyone gathered around Chloe to get the details.
Marinette growled and tried to focus on her sketchbook. She couldn't help looking back at the group of students and of course, her eyes went straight to the golden-haired model who happened to be making a silly face right at her.
Marinette couldn't help it, she started laughing. Her hand clasping over her mouth to try and muffle the noise.
Adrien's face relaxed into a fond smile as he watched Marinette giggle into her hand. He didn't like seeing his friend upset, seeing her laughing was much better. He'd have to talk to Chloe about letting Marinette come to the party, but for now, it was enough just to make her smile.
Everything seemed better when she smiled.
