The gentle sound of the rain beating against the windows of the Tamade household slowly woke Pareo, bringing her mind away from the dreamy state it was in, and back into reality. It seemed to be morning, but it was hard to tell with the clouds dimming the sun's light. Slowly, Pareo began to sit up and-
Ah. There was a cat on her lap.
Well, not quite. Chu2 had fallen asleep beside her in the night, but her position shifted, with her feet to the pillow and her head curled up on her legs. Her headphones had fallen off during this, causing them to be left on the pillow she started the night on.
Oh no. Pareo couldn't exactly move, so she'd had to wake her- but no, she couldn't do that either. A quiet "but she's so cute," left Pareo's lips, causing the producer to stir out of her position and a groan of defeat to come out of her mouth as her head slid off Pareo's legs. Pareo was frozen. In her head, she knew she woke her, but her heart hoped that she would sleep for a little while longer. Nevertheless, Chu2 sliding off solved her predicament, so she slid out of bed, eager to get an early start on getting ready for band practice later that day.
She glanced at the clock before heading out of the bedroom. "Ah, 13:15, okay!" she thought as she headed to the bathroom to- wait. What? Realization crept its way onto her face as she ran back to double check the clock. Oh my god, they had overslept. And as cute as Chu2 was, she really had to make sure she was awake. Slowly walking back to the bed, she outstretched her hand over to where Chu2 lay and…
Pareo's fingers hit Chu2's right cheek, giving it a little squeeze. Her eyes shot open, pure fear entering her bloodstream as she yelped, "M-MA- oh. Huh? Pareo, it's you?"
"Haha, yep! It's me! Massu-san said that would be really cute to do that to your cheeks, so Pareo just had to try it~"
"Well, um, good morning! How did you sleep?" Chu2 felt really awkward about screaming in fear at her girlfriend, but from the look on her face told her that Pareo wasn't upset about it, so she didn't want to worry her too much.
Pareo's eyebrows furrowed. "Um… we kind of overslept? But, it's okay! Pareo knows we still have an hour to get ready! And…" her voice changed to be less sing-songy, "Don't worry. I can see a bit of worry in your face, and I expected you to think I was Massu-san, so I'm really not upset. Pareo's just really glad she got to pinch your cheeks for once and for all."
Chu2's mood changed from awkward worry to confused gay panic. Internal gay screaming, even. "Oh my god, she was looking forward to that?" was what the screaming summed up to as she could only stammer out, "G-Good! Let's get ready!" before she, in a moment fuelled by the gay and loving thoughts in her head, instinctively grabbed Pareo's hand to go together to the bathroom.
Chu2 could only take 2 steps forward before freezing and having her face burn hot. This was not the first time they had held hands, not in a long shot, but combined with everything that's happened within the first 5 minutes of her waking up, was a lot to handle. Pareo, internally screaming just as hard now, lifted their intertwined hands up to her face, and gave Chu2's palm a little kiss.
And then, they walked, eager to start their day together.

Pareo and Chu2 sat on the couch in the living room. Pareo was wearing a lavender and mint green wig, very soft colours to complement how soft and gay she's felt the entire day. Chu2… well. She recharged her headphones and took a shower. She was wearing a beige sweater that said, in bold and green English text, "WOMEN WANT ME FISH FEAR ME". It was a gift from Masuki after their camping trip, meant to match her hat. Chu2 had no idea why she was wearing it, but as much as she wouldn't admit it, it was very comfortable. Ah, she wondered how Masuki would react to her wearing it. Probably more teasing and kissy noises-
Knock. Knock Knock. The unmistakable sound of someone knocking on glass echoed through the room. "Ah, Pareo's got… it…" she trailed off as she looked through the window to Rei's wet face peering through the glass.
Practice started 25 minutes ago.
