I awoke on a clearing. Initially, I thought nothing of it as it was pretty normal for myself to end up in the middle of nowhere, either caused by wanderlust or booze, most of the time and also the culprits of the situation I'm in is both. Looking around, I recognized nothing remarkable, just tall grass reaching up until my kneecaps along with a dense forest. No birds, insects or even any trace of the trail I should've made when I ended up here. Shrugging to myself, I sat up and checked my backpack. It contained 2 large plastic bottles full of water, a sleeping bag I forgot about, an empty lunch box, an empty bottle of booze, a change of clothes, soap, a flashlight and 3 batteries and my trusty Mach-y in it's sheath I've had since I was 9. It ressembles a katana, only that it's a lot shorter and thicker making it more suited for cutting down overgrown stuff, but it sure is really dang reliable. After that, I checked my pockets, only to find a few pieces of orange flavored candy. Great, I don't have my phone on me. I'm going to bet that I dropped it somewhere on the way here. Sighing to myself, I stood and picked my stuff up. Considering I've still got some water left, I decided to just keep on wandering. I walked off to west, following the sun on it's midday descent.

This forest was dark, even if the sun was just overhead. The canopy above along with the silent forest was really going to give me the creeps if it were my first time in a situation like this. Whistling a dandy tune as I cut through the overgrown grass, I slowly progressed through the forest. I really enjoy these kinds of adventures, being alone and not having to worry about anyone but yourself is relaxing. I would've enjoyed it more if not of the patch of darkness I noticed on my peripherals. It was slow, but it was definitely moving like it were stalking me. I sighed as I prepared myself to run, it was definitely going to be a long day.

Losing my stalker was pretty tiring, but I managed to get away by sacrificing my shirt. I am now wearing my favorite purple hoodie. For whatever it was though, gotta give it credit as those are usually pretty easy to lose unless I'm bleeding. It was already getting dark so I need to find shelter, just in case there were more of those around here. On the bright side, I found shelter. It was a simple cabin in the woods, wooden walls, curtained glass panes, a chimney, a porch and all, ooo~ scary... The only thing though that kept me from getting as far as possible from the cabin is that it had a miniature garden at the front of the porch. I walked up to it and saw beans, eggplants, pumpkins and tomatoes, most ready for harvest. There was even a short grapevine growing at the corner. Jackpot!

After harvesting enough vegetables to last me 3 days, I debated whether or not I should go sleep in the cabin tonight. Knowing my luck, and considering that I've just found something good, therefore something bad is going to happen. I chuckle to myself. Going back into the forest would surely end badly then, so might as well take a risk and go with the lesser evil. I try peeking through a window that wasn't entirely curtained with my flashlight, only to see a pair of red eyes staring back. Startled, I backed off. Upon further inspection, I realized it was only a doll. Definitely a good sign, haha...

After breaking through the hinges of the cabin door with my trusty Mach-y, I am absolutely starting to regret my decision. Dolls varying in size seemingly stare back at me as I shined my flashlight on them, each seemingly divided into groups as they had their own uniforms and "weapons". Each held a either a lance, a sword, a stick, or a duster. It would've cool if the place was lit up. I don't feel as bad as the scare with Miss Red-eyes a while back, but it was still damn unsettling. After replacing the door and blocking it off with a nearby table, I walked up to one of the dolls. After inspecting and pricking myself with the lance it's holding, I have come to the conclusion that this breaking into the cabin was a bad idea. The only reason I even bothered to gamble with the cabin was the fact that the owner hasn't seemed to be home for atleast a week. It was pretty dusty inside.

Walking around the house was a pretty interesting experience to say the least. The place I entered through seemed to be the living room, it was connected to the kitchen with an empty doorway. Adjacent to it was a door I was unable to open. In the kitchen, there were two additional doors, I was able to open both of them. The door to the right lead to a simple bedroom. It had two beds, a dresser, a bookshelf, and a chair. The other door, which seemed to be slightly left ajar, lead to the basement where the dolls and their clothes were made. Featureless maniqins terrify me so I went back up immediately. Rummaging through the kitchen, I found some simple ingredients and spices, knives spoons and forks, rice wine and kitchen stuff. I took one of the knives, a spoon and then refilled my empty booze bottle. I then went to sleep at one of the beds I found after making sure that I'd be able to get out of there a quick as possible tomorrow. After placing Mach-y under my pillow, I slept, hoping for the best possible scenario of nothing happening tonight.

Phew, and here begins my first fanfic. I really have not much to say, but I'm satisfied with this. Please do make a review if you have any suggestions on what I should do in the future. Feel free to ask questions.
