"Okay...our first training mission as members of the Alliance." Setsuna said as she and the other UA students stood on the streets of a different New York than the previous. One belonging to the Marvel spectrum of the Hero Universe.
"Okay, look alive. Apparently there's been some commotion near Fisk Tower. Looks like an attempted raid." Tails said on the comm.
"Get ready to dance the jitterbug, boys and girls. Let's see some style!" David said on the comm.
"Do your best everyone!" Lilianna said through Juno.
"Okay...so what's the deal with this guy we're after?" Eijiro asked.
"Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin. A notorious crime boss. He appears legit on the surface but has a number of illegal businesses. Police have tried to nail him for 8 years but haven't been able to do a thing till now. He's got very good lawyers." Sunset said.
"Yeah, and he sometimes hires assassins like Bullseye to do his dirty work." Al said.
"Got it. Really crooked business guy." Mina said as some police cars drove by as the police were in a firefight with some armed men. "Looks like he's got some help too."
"They won't be able to stop them. Go and help." Tails said.
"We're on it." Izuku said as something flew over them. "What the?"
As the armed men approached the police, their guns were soon taken by a man dressed in red and blue with a web design. "Morning, guys. So who's up for their fresh hot dose of bodily harm?" he asked.
"No way! It's Spider Man!" Izuku said.
"No surprise. This is his city after all." Jeremie said. "Don't be afraid to give him a hand."
"This part of the Hero Universe is certainly vast." Miriam said. "But it seems no matter what version it is, Spider Man is always ready to help people."
Spider Man quickly dealt with the thugs on approach and saw the UA students approaching the scene when he was done.
"Whoa, hold up there kids. Those are pretty cool costumes, but Comic-Con isn't until the summer." Spider Man warned jokingly.
"Um, actually, we're heroes in training." Izuku said. "And…"
Just then a truck pulled up with several armed men on it. "Somebody just shoot him!" one of them said as they fired.
"Geez, Fisk has a lot of guys on his payroll." Spider Man said as he dodged the shots fired at him.
"Kids?" One of Fisks men asked. "No matter, they're with Spider Man, take 'em down!" The group aimed their guns at them.
"Hey, look out!" Spider Man said.
"Togaru, disarm them!" Kendo called to Kamakiri.
"I'm on it." Kamakiri said as he ran at the armed men and diced off the barrels of their guns.
"Now we wrap them up." Sero said, wrapping the men up with his tape.
"Whoa, hey… that's not half bad." Spider Man said impressed. "Where in the heck did you guys get those powers, is there a bargain sale going on?"
"...Not quite." Setsuna said.
A communication link in Spider Man's costume buzzed. "Hold on." he said, answering it. "Yuri, what's…"
An explosion then occurred further ahead.
"Yuri? Yuri! Dang...I knew Fisk wouldn't go quietly." Spider Man said as he went swinging towards the explosion.
"C'mon guys, were going too!" Mina said.
"Wait, wouldn't it be better to go away from explosions and rescue the-" Mineta said as everyone headed over to Fisk tower but him. "Oh, never mind…!" he said running after them.
At Fisk Tower, the base of Kingpin's operations, it was a full on shootout between the NYPD and Fisk's men in the building from every angle. The cops sought cover near their vehicles, trying to avoid the gunfire.
"Keep the airspace tight and stay out of the line of fire." said a woman known as Yuri Watanabe.
"What's going on?" Spider Man asked as he arrived with the students.
"If he makes it out of that building, we're gonna lose him." Yuri said.
"I'm gonnaI'm gonna go, uh…." the webslinger pointed to the building as Yuri saw the cops ducking the gunfire.
"Do your thing." She permitted.
"Yes!" Spider man then jumped into the building to clear the way for the police. The UA Students followed behind, Bakugo coming in first.
"Outta the way, idiots!" he said blasting into the building.
"Coming through!" Uraraka said right behind him.
"Scuse us!" Tsuyu said as everyone followed her inside.
"Hey, you can't go in there!" an officer yelled to no avail.
"It's okay, we're licensed." Iida said.
They battled against the armed men as Kaibara made it to the elevator. "Bad news. He shut down the elevator."
"Heh...not a problem for me." Spider Man said as he started wall crawling in the elevator shaft.
"Guys, what's the situation?" Izuku asked on the comm.
"Not good. Fisk has armed men on every floor. He's not leaving anything up to chance." Tails said.
"He's desperate." Todoroki said.
"That's not all. I just picked up chatter. They're wiping all their servers. Without that evidence, he'll be out on the streets in no time flat." Vera said.
"Got it. Server room first, Fisk later." Eijiro said.
"I'll take care of the former." Tsuyu said heading up to the floor where the server room was. Before she could head in, Spider Man reappeared.
"Not through the front door. If they see you, they'll destroy everything." he said, looking to a vent. "I've got a better approach plan. Think you can fit in that vent?"
The two of them were soon crawling through the vents.
"Huh...for a dirty criminal, he's got very clean vents." Tsuyu said as they went towards the server room.
"Boss wants everything erased." a thug said.
"Well I can't make it erase any faster." another said as one of the armed guards were fixed to the vent with web fluid.
"Wow...they're so cute when they're oblivious." Spider Man said as Tsuyu snagged a guy with her tongue. She flinged him into the vents as Spider Man webbed him up.
"Okay...time to let it drop." Tsuyu said as they fell down to the room.
"Is this tech support? I forgot my password." Spider Man said as he and Tsuyu quickly took care of the guards. "Gotta hurry." he said, hacking into the servers to download them.
As soon as he started, a voice was heard as Kingpin appeared on the screen.
"Hiding in the server room, huh? How cowardly." Kingpin said.
"Says the guy trying to erase his search history." Tsuyu said.
"And who might you be?" Kingpin asked.
"She's my… temporary sidekick." Spiderman made up. "Trying for a species branch out… her name is… uh…. Frog-Girl?"
"Froppy, actually." Tsuyu corrected.
"After all these years, you're still just an ignorant child." Kingpin said.
"True, but that's part of my charm, isn't it?" Spider Man asked.
"And does that...Froppy, know who I am?" Kingpin asked.
"A crime lord keeping the cover of a legitimate business man who's probably committed more crimes under the radar than I can count?" Tsuyu asked.
"I also keep the scum of this city in check. Without me, they'll all run wild." Fisk replied. "Think about that before you, Spider Man and your friends come get me."
"You've been on the run for 8 years. Sad to see it end." Spider Man said.
"A mere prelude." Fisk said.
"Then get ready for the main event." Spider Man said heading out before a part of the floor exploded. "Of course he wired bombs."
"We'll take care of them, go get Kingpin." Tsuyu said.
"Thanks, that's a lotta stuff off my back." Spider Man said as the two split up.
"Guys, Fisk wired the entire building to blow, we have to disarm the bombs and save the civilians." Tsuyu said.
"We're already on it. And don't worry about the bombs. A bomb squad just entered the building." Shoji said.
"Spider Man might need some help with Kingpin though." Hope said over the comm.
"We know that." Izuku said.
"And it looks like the last of the police helicopters landed outside." Ochako said. "Meaning one could fly in to get him out."
"Why do I get the feeling that's what he probably wanted." Yaoyorozu said.
"It's the Kingpin after all." Al said over the comm.
"We need to hurry or he's gonna slip right past." Tetsutetsu said as he and Eijiro took out a couple of henchmen as the rest headed up to the office Fisk was in.
"Writing your memoirs? Don't forget the hyphen between Spider and Man." Spider Man said.
"Get the chopper ready." Fisk said on an intercom. "I won't be long."
Fisk cracked his knuckles and headed towards the hallway with a remote as a glass shield went up.
"Uh...we can still see you." Kaminari said.
"So impudent." Fisk said as the pillars in the room opened to show hidden turrets ready to fire.
"Oh man." Mineta said. "We're gonna get shot to death."
"Don't worry, I gotcha." Mari said over the comm as she hacked the turrets. "What the?" she said as her hacking was undone.
"Of course he gets protection for his weapons. And I doubt they'd shoot through the...glass." Izuku said. "Maybe the bullets can't. But…" he said.
"Way ahead of you." Spider Man said webbing a turret before flinging it into the glass, cracking it a bit.
"What are you?" Fisk said as the remaining turrets were tossed at the glass, soon breaking it. "How is this happening?"
"How's it feel, Willie?" Spider Man asked.
"I'll destroy you!" Fisk said breaking his desk as he started hurling the chunks at the heroes.
"Whoa, he's actually really strong!" Kaminari said.
"You didn't think that frame of his was just for show, did you?" Togaru asked.
"He's right, be sure to watch out if he tries to charge at you." Al said.
"Too late!" Tokoyami said as Fisk charged into them as they were taking the fight into the next room.
"Heroes like you are what's wrong with this city!" Fisk said as some of his men came in. "Do your jobs!"
"Funny, we were going to say the same about you." Izuku said. "St. Louis...SMASH!" he said landing a smash attack against Fisk as the two of them were taking the fight across the building as well as falling down.
"Whoa...hang on there!" Spider Man said jumping down to catch up as he soon webbed them both before they hit the bottom. "So...should we kiss now? Nah...probably later." he said as the police showed up.
Kingpin was soon escorted by the police to a car.
"Finally off to Rykers with you, Willie. I think you have more enemies in there than I do." Spider Man said.
"If you think this will be more than a minor inconvenience…" Fisk said.
"Whoop, gotta go, Willie. Good luck, think you're gonna need it." Spider Man said. "Nice job today, kids!" he called as he swung away.
"Idiots! I'm the one who kept order in this city! One month! In one month, you'll wish you had me back!" Fisk called as he was soon escorted away in the police car.
"Well, for a group of kids, you sure helped out today. Thanks for the assist." Yuri said.
"Yeah...you're welcome." Izuku said. "Keep us in mind if you have any other problems!" Izuku said as they hurried back to the ship.
Back on the Galaxy King…
"Nicely done. And no help from us at all." Jexi said.
"Well, we all deserve to have our own time in the limelight now and then." Kendo said.
"So… guess Kingpin is going to Rykers?" Kaminari asked.
"Nope. Apparently he's been upgraded. He's going to the Raft." Tails said.
"Oh, that takes us back." Al said. "The place has got a protective shield around it so no villain can get in or out, not even Spider Man's famous foes."
"Then Fisk won't be out for a good long while." Mark said. "So, great first outing from the new teammates! What's next?"
"I think the best course of action is for us to set up our own temporary agency and help with crimes around the city." Kaibara recommended.
"Sounds like a plan. We just need an ideal place to set up shop." Revali said.
"Well, Fisk is going to prison and he does have a lot of buildings he probably won't be using." Jexi said.
"At least for a while." Setsuna said.
"Better than nothing." Lei said.
"As of this moment, the Hero Agency of Excellence is temporarily opened." Rainbow said.
"I think the name could use some work." Leopardmon said.
"We'll workshop it throughout the week." Sunset said.
