Okay, I'm back! I lowkey have no brain cells whatsoever so bear with me. I love Ririka x Mary they're so cute together. Buuut Mary and Yumeko are cute together too. It was so hard to choose between one or the other; so I chose both. Hope you guys enjoy this fic. Let get, on with the fanfiction
It was beautiful, the ocean breeze wafting through the window. She should be happy, Mary was marrying the love of her life. She saw the way Mary had always looked at Yumeko, with a twinkle in her eye and her heart on her sleeve. But it hurt never the less, she loved mary as well; if only she had got up the courage to tell her all those years ago. But you cant go back to the past and fix things, you have to move forward.
"Damn… I'm so selfish," Ririka said to herself while biting her lip
"Oi Ririka!" a voice cut through her daze: it was mary
"What? Yes? No?"
The blonde rolled her eyes "I said can you zip up my dress."
"O-oh! Right!"
Ririka fumbled with the zipper until she finally got it and zipped it up. She looked at Mary in the mirror, she was drop-dead gorgeous. The sunlight reflected against the lace making the dress sparkle. Ririkas eyes softened now was a happy time, as long as she was happy… right?
"It's almost time" Marys's voice broke her thoughts again
"R-right!" Ririkas voice cracked
Since Mary's parents weren't there Ririka walked her first love to the alter. Everyone was there, the student council, Yumeko's sister, and others. All eyes were on them as Mary glided down the aisle to take her vows. There stood Yumeko at the alter, plastered across her face was a big goofy smile.
"S-stop smiling like that" Mary studdered
"You just look so cute Mary~
"Oh my god" Mary covered her face blushing
And so the ceremony went on, Ryouta had a license to be a wedding officiator so he wedded the two. Small tears welled up in Ririkas aqua blue eyes her lip started to quiver. Don't cry now, you had your chance! Quickly she wiped away her tears and smiled.
"do you Mary Saotome take Yumeko Jabami to be your wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part, according to the ordinance; and thereto pledge thee your faith?"
"I do"
"Cool"
"That's not how you respond to I do Ryouta" Mary hit him upside the head causing a small welt
"Oops sorry, haha" he cleared his throat
"Idiot..."
"ANYways do you Yumeko Jabami take Mary Saotome to be your wife to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, until parted by death?"
"I do"
"Excellent if one is not okay with this marriage speak now or forever keep your silence"
Damn it Ririka! SAY something! This is your chance! You're going to lose her. But she didn't move a muscle, she just stood there frozen in place like a porcelain doll. It was over, she knew it, she wouldnt be a homewrecker just because of the way she felt.
"You may kiss the bride"
Their lips touched ever so gently and full of love. Then the crowd went wild, everyone stood up clapping and smiling. Time went by, and before she knew it, it was time for the party. Surprisingly it had no gambling, knowing Yumeko Ririka was pleasantly impressed.
"Surprised there aren't any gambling booths?" a familiar voice said
"Oh! Yeah, congratulations M-mary"
"Haha, thanks I really love that idiot a lot. She did want to have gambling booths though."
"Wait, then why do you not have them?"
"I made a bet with her, that if she beat me in a game of chess we would have gambling booths and if not we'd have a normal party"
"And you won?"
"Obviously"
"Marrryyyyyyyyy" a voice rang from behind them; then mary was encased with a hug
"AH! YUMEKO!" Mary jumped "G-get off! You're gonna ruin the dress!"
"Haha! We're married nowwww"
"Are you drunk?"
"Maybeeee~"
Mary shook her head laughing "For once I'd like you to calm down"
"Come on! Let's go dance" Yumeko grabbed marys hand and she stumbled away
"Why didn't you tell her?" a voice cut in
"I-I didn't have the courage… Kirari"
"Well then have the courage, wake up and tell Mary before its too late"
"W-wait why are you being so nice all of a sudden?" Ririka questioned
"It's your dream, I'm how you'd like to see me"
"Oh"
"Now hurry up, time rushes and waits for no one"
Ririka shot up out of bed her hair a mess. She had to tell Mary now, no time for waiting. She stumbled out of bed; changing into her uniform, brushing her teeth, and combing her hair. Gotta go, gotta go. She was in such a rush she forgot her mask. Minutes later she burst through the student council door sweat dripping down her face. There Kirari sat sipping tea while chatting with Mary.
"Ah, Ririka, I see you don't have your mask on, what's the special occasion?" She asked as she took another sip
"I-I uh" there was a pause her heartbeat quickened "MARY SAOTOME PLEASE GO OUT WITH ME" she spat out
"Okay" Mary responded matter-of-factly "a little aggressive, but I'm down"
S-she said yes! I-i didn't think I would get this far! Ririka thought. She felt all giddy like she was flying. Thump! Ririka turned around to see the rest of the student council sprawled on the floor. Her face turned beet red. They saw her without her mask she felt like she was bare.
"WOW VICE PREZ YOU LOOK SO PRETTY! I DIDNT KNOW PREZ HAD A TWIN!" Runa squealed "You two look just LIKE each other!"
"You owe me my 10,000¥ back Runa, I said they'd get together" The popstar smirked
"Go back to what you were doing!" Mary blushed embarrassed
"MARRRYYYYY" Yumeko rushed to hug her
"Don't touch me" Mary stopped Yumekos hug with her finger.
"Uaahhh, congratulations"
Wow, what an amazing fanfiction, look at me back at its writing. ANYways thanks for reading my story. I ship mary and Ririka but Yumeko and mary are cute together too I guess. Okay but fr I only do yuri shipping fics and no Darling in the FranxX. And I do requests.
