Let's start with the story now

A man was having an irritated face while talking on the phone.

On-call

at night Purvis home

Purvi was sitting in front of her mirror all set. She was not a makeup girl only Lipstick was a thing which always fascinated her and other was Earring and a nose ring.

A girl entered into her room with another one a little elder to her

younger one: dii Swasti di aa gyi ( happily)

Purvi smiled and get up to welcome her friend

Swasti: mast lag rhi hai yrr

Swasti noticed it so she decided to let younger sister give both the friends some quality time.

Swasti: Shreya tum jao aunty ne kaha tha na wapas jane ko unhe help chahiye

Swasti: kya hua? ( she asked trying to read Purvi's mind)

few minutes latter kavin was sitting with his dad and having a not so pleasant conversation with Purvi's dad, well actually he was asking a lots of questions to him like,

Kavin: dekhiye uncle crime me intention mayene rakhta hai agr uska intention galat hua to usse saza milegi or main bhi uske against hi hounga

P dad: are kavin Purvi khud lawyer hai wo to aisa koi kaam kregi hi nhi

Kavin pov: to fir ye sawaal kyu puchha

Daya(shreya's husband) decided to interrupt: papa mom puchh rhi thi ki nashta laaye kya?

P dad: haan haan lao or purvi ko bhi le aana

Daya: ok papa ( and left but not before eyeing sorry to kavin)

Kavin pov: jiska baap aisa hai god knows wo ladki kaisi hogi shreya to baap pe nhi gyi but agr iski behen gyi hogi to, ye ladki meri conditions kabhi nhi manegi and agr dad ne meri isse shaadi krwa di to god knows mera kya hoga he bhagwaan bacha le mujhe.

Soon Purvi came in the hall with some snacks in a tray Kavin Looked at her and had a wow! reaction but it get unheard by all... hehehe lol!

after little bit of talkin Kavin's dad asked Purvi's dad to let both the kids talk in alone.

P dad: haan haan beta dono chhat pe ya room me jaao baat krlo.

Shreya Swasti and daya went along with kavin and Purvi (Kavi) to Purvi's room

Shreya: sorry Kavin sir papa ke questions ki wajah se daya ne bataya

Kavin : are koi baat nhi Shreya wo to mujhe test kr rhe the

Swasti chukkled at Shreya's comment when Purvi glared at both of them

and trio left leaving Kavi alone

Purvi took a big sigh and gathered some courage to speak while kavin was just observing her.

Purvi: I'm sorry Mr. Khanna dad ke questions ki wajah se I know wo aapko pasand nhi aaye honge

Kavin: dekho purvi yahan to nhi but main chahunga ki kl tum mujhse coffee shop me milu main shaadi se pehle kuchh cheezen clear krna chata hun

with this they decided to get back to their faimily members and tell them that they need some time.

both the families agreed and proceed to have dinner.

After silent dinner Kavin left along with his dad.

Daya and Shreya also left to their house.

Night 12pm

Purvi just finish her call with swasti discussing everything she wanted to blurt out. they were friends from class 10 th and were very close to each other swasti was the only girl with whome Purvi shared all her condition and frustation ,

Currently swasti was cyber Security head in Purvi's Law firm

This was the second most highest and respectable post after being the President of that Law firm which was Purvi herself.

Kavin was waiting for Purvi who was 15 min late.

He took a relief when he saw her coming inside the cafe struggling along with some 2-3 law books and 4 files.

Purvi who was extremely frustrated till know gave an irritated cry. Kavin chuckled at her behaviour and decided to help her. so he did.

after taking all the stuff and settling on the cafe table Purvi gently thanked him for his helpful gesture and Kavin just smiled at her Exhausted yet admirable face.

Purvi: I'm so sorry to make you wait so long

Kavin: well main kehta "You should be" but tumhe dekh ke lagta hai tum kafi buri waali busy thi (he chuckled so did Purvi)

Purvi: Actually aaj court ki hearing thi to issi wajah se

Kavin : so Before anything what would you like to have?

Purvi : that's really nice of you but main coffee nhi peeti, wo to aapne bulaya to main aa gyi.

Kavin (dumbstruck) :ohh sorry mujhe pata nhi tha.

and both had sweet but hearty laugh.

Kavin: so how was the hearing today

Purvi: bht hi zyada bekaar, It's javed bhai case going on or usne naak me dum kr rakha hai, pichhle 4 years se chal rha tha ye case district courts me, iss baar maine haath me liya high court me jab aaya tab and I'm not in a mood to take this case till next year, to main isse khatam krne ki full koshish me hun bas ek tagdi lead mile.

Kavin: hmm Javed bhai jaanta hun iske baare me Police department me kafi bawaal macha rakha hai abhi tak cid ke paas koi case nhi aaya but still we have idea about him, aur...

and like this they tried to start a normal conversation to atleast get Idea about each other's nature and way of talking and kavin was glad that Purvi was not at all like her father, hehehe lol. :p

Kavin: so... (he tried bringing up some courage and sereiousness) Purvi actually mujhe kuchh zaroori baat krni thi

Kavin: well actually main Shaadi krne me bilkul bhi intrested nhi hun...

he paused to see her reaction then continued

Kavin: haan ...(he was guilty for this)

Purvi: continue ( she murmured lowering her head as she was trying to stay strong and making her tears go back which was now a habit of hers)

Kavin: main maanta hun ki ye shaadi already fixed hai issiliye main kuchh cheezen clear krna chahta hun shaadi ke baad mujhe rok nhi chahiye kisi bhi cheez me plzzz main nhi chata ki meri azadi ek jhatke me chali jaye yrr plzz try to understand haan main itna commitment de sakta hun ki main shaadi ke baad kabhi kisi or ladki ke saath raat nhi bitaunga but plzz isse zyada ki ummid mt rakhna ...

Purvi by now build up the courage to look at him after listning his last line.

Purvi : ok...was all she can say

Kavin : well hum achhe dost zaroor ban sakte main tumhe badle me saari freedom dunga, your wish whatever you want to do you can, your demands agr in case bht ajeeb na hui to dost ke naate pura kr dunga, your dreams are yours only jo jee aye krna, your opinions will be mattring agr humse related koi baat hui to, but plzz Don't expect Love from me.

Purvi was listening calmly whatever he was saying, she remembered these were the things which she wanted after marriage but not in the exact way they were getting to her, and above all she is asked to not to except love. then she just thought if she denied this marriage what will she answer to her father.

Most importantly she was being selfish this man was giving her all freedom whatever she want to do she can, all her dreams can be fulfilled, but... "hr kisi ko sab kuchh nhi mil sakta na"

She made herself understand that. after few minutes of silence she tried to smile and say

"Mujhe yhi chahiye"

Kavin: are you sure?

Purvi: yes, main aap par kabhi koi zor nhi dalungi. do whatever you want and thanx itni commitment dene ke liye ki aap humari rishtey ki izzat rakh rhe hai.

Kavin couldn't utter a word he didn't know how to react but he did noticed some strokes of tears in her eyes which made him guilty so he just said

"purvi" he said softly

"hmm" she asked

"main wada krta hun ki main is rishtey ki puri izzat rakhunga" he said as much softly as he can just to Sooth the lady sitting in front of her.

"thank you" she replied getting a bit relieved.

Few days Later

A room was decorated beautifully as It was the first marriage night of the newly married couple.

Purvi entered the room and admired it's beauty. Kavin's photos were there on the walls

She sighed and moved towards the dressing table. and started removing her jewellery as the were heavy.

Kavin entered the room after few minutes and closed the door Purvi looked towards him and he looked at her back

She was just in her lehenga without dupatta and jewelleries and with open hair covering onside of her shoulder.

Purvi turned back toward the mirror and removed the only earing she was wearing by then, making kavin come back to the real world.

Kavin moved towards her with little steps and gave a small box to her

She looked at him then at box

"dad ne kaha tha ki shaadi ki pehli raat apni wife ko gift dete hai Shreya ne batya tha tumhe earrings ka shouk hai to socha whi lelun"

She smiled back and took those beautiful diamond earrings, and wore them

"beautiful" both said in unison and smiled

Kavin: tum change krlo uske baad main kr lunga

Purvi: aap pehle kr lijiye mujhe time lagega ye dress bht complicated hai

Kavin: okk and he moved towards the washroom

Purvi then faced the reality that now she is married but in complete complicated way. she remembered how much she cried after coming back to home after her first meet with kavin. and how she lied to her best friend and family that she is happy for her marriage.

Next morning

Purvi woke up in the morning by her phone ringtone

She saw it was her mom who called her, Kavin was sleeping peacefully on the other side of bed so she went to balkony

"haan maa"

"Pihu aaj Pehli rasoi ki rasam hai tumhari"

"shocked kya ho rhi ho acche se banana khana"

"per maa mujhe khana banana nhi aata"
