Hello everyone and welcome to my first shot at a Yu-gi-oh GX fanfiction. Im not gonna lie and say that it'll be good cause it might not be. But im gonna try my best and if anyone flames then they can get over it. I dont own yugioh gx or anything in the yugioh franchise I just own any original cards I use in this fic unless otherwise stated and trust me I will be using original cards. And with that on with the story
Kuro was making a mad dash through the streets trying his best to make it to the academy duel exam on time. "Shit! I cant believe Winter knocked my alarm clock off my table again!" He yelled as he dodged an elderly woman crossing the street.
He looked down at his watch and grinned "10 minutes left and 2 blocks to go I got this."
At the stadium Kuro and some other kid blew through the gate and checked in just in time
They walked in just as a kid with a British accent was finishing up his duel.
"Would Kuro Doragon make his way down to arena 3 please? Kuro Doragon to arena 3" the announcer called as Kuro made his way down to said arena where a proctor was waiting "welcome applicant I ask that you forfeit now as i have special orders to use our strongest proctor deck against you" he greeted in a calm and almost robotic voice to which Kuro smirked and activated his duel disk "sorry old man not a chance." They readied their decks and gave each other a competitive look
""Let's duel!""
Kuro: 4000
Proctor: 4000
The proctor grinned a little and looked at his hand "I'll start off by summoning a monster in defense mode and activating the field spell The Sanctuary in The Sky! Now any time a fairy monster battles I take no battle damage during it and with that I'll place two cards face down and end my turn"
"My turn then!" Kuro yelled as he drew his card "and i'll start by playing the spell card dragon's shrine. By playing this card i can send a dragon monster from my deck to my graveyard and if its a normal monster I can send a second one" he said sending red eyes black dragon and totem dragon to the graveyard "and now I'll play a monster in defense mode and then activate my spell shard of greed, and with that i'll end my turn"
"My draw!" The proctor yelled and drew his next first card "I'll tribute my face down monster and summon Airknight Parshath!"
Airknight Parshath atk:1900
"Now i'll tribute my airknight Parshath to special summon Neo Parshath the Sky Paladin!"
Neo Parshath the Sky Paladin Atk:2300
"When my Paladin attacks a defense position monster he deals piercing damage and when he deals damage I get to draw a card! Now go my Paladin, attack with Celestial Blast!" He called tearing through Kuro's face down monster which turned out to be a luster dragon
Kuro: 3100
Proctor: 4000
"You activated my trap Dragon's battle Cry! Now since you destroyed my dragon and i took damage i can add one dragon monster and one spell to my hand as long as i reveal one or the other'' he explained while adding a spell and his dragon which was revealed to be a Blue Eyes White Dragon making everyone gasp in shock and awe at the legendary beast
"That beast won't do you any good cause while Sanctuary in the sky is on the field my paladin gains the difference in our life points"
Neo Parshath atk:3200
Kuro grit his teeth a little and growled "that paladins wings are gonna get clipped" he said drawing his card "I'll activate the effect of Totem dragon in my graveyard, since all the monsters in my graveyard are dragons he can be special summoned to my field"
Totem dragon def:200
"Now I tribute my Totem Dragon to summon my Blue Eyes White Dragon!"
Blue eyes atk:3000
"Then I'll activate my spell card Symmetrical distortion. This card allows me to target two monsters on the field with the same attribute and banish them until my next stand by phase" he explained as his Blue Eyes and the Neo Parshath both vanish through portals "then I'll place a card face down and end my turn"
"My turn then" the proctor said as he drew "ill I'll play the spell card cards from the light. By banishing a fairy monster from my hand I can draw two cards" he explained doing so "and since I drew this card outside my draw phase then I can special summon watapon, but he won't be sticking around cause I'll be tributing it to summon Tethys, Goddess of light"
Tethys atk:2400
"Now tethys attacks you directly!" He said as tethys fired a blast of light straight at Kuro
"And I say you activated my trap, Counter Gate! When you declare a direct attack then your attack is negated and i draw a card, if its a monster it gets summoned and if not the it just stays in my hand" he explained drawing a card and grins "now I'll summon out red eyes baby dragon from my hand"
Red eyes baby atk:1200
"Good save, i'll end my turn"
"Which means it's my turn" he explained drawing "due to my Symmetrical distortion the two monsters banished earlier return with their effects negated but with the same amount of attack"
Blue eyes atk:3000
Neo parshath atk:3000
"Then I'll play the spell card monster reincarnation by discarding a card then my red eyes return to my hand" he said adding his red eyes back to his hand "and now this duel is over. I activate my spell card Fusion of the Dragon Guardians, now I fuse my blue eyes and red eyes together. Light and darkness leaves the world torn and now let chaos forever be born! Come out Tiamat, The Chaos Karma Dragon!" He calls as a large blue dragon with one red eye and one purple eye appears giving a mighty roar
Tiamat Lvl:11 Atk:3800
"Since Tiamat was summoned using Fusion of the Dragon Guardians then all cards on the field have their effects negated. Then I'll play Tiamats effect, by banishing up to three dragon monsters from my deck, hand, or graveyard then tiamats can attack up to the number of monsters banished by the effect" he explained banishing red eyes black chick, decoy dragon, and light and darkness dragon
"Now Tiamat attack Neo parshath!"
4000-900=3100
"Next attack Tiamat! Show Tethys why dragons are Lords of the sky!"
3100-1400=1700
Kuro grinned and looked at the proctor "it's been a good duel but this ends here Tiamat attack him directly with Infernal Chaos Burst!" He called out as his dragon launched a burst of pure purple energy that engulfed the proctor
1700-3800=0000
Kuro wins
Simultaneously the boy that Kuro walked in with had just won his duel on his second turn against some dude that dressed like a woman who had his mechanical titan fall on him comically
The proctor stands up after a short bit laughing a little "Kuro I'm glad to personally welcome you to duel academy. And while i'd personally put you as an Obelisk blue the final decision is Chancellor Shepard and Vice Chancellor Crowler"
Kuro nodded and walked up shaking the Proctor's hand before heading up the stairs and getting into a conversation with some random person, not noticing the girl with Black hair and blue highlights giving him a curious look
One thing for sure this year was going to be interesting
