Chapter 0: Prologue of the Attack
Somewhere on the Fields, Jack the Ranger and John the Wizard. Outside on the sunny day where monsters spawn just to get wrecked by other players. Yep, it's the usual place for all VMMO players. The duo comes online to do quests. Being Low Levels, their gear is poor quality and has only the basic skillsets.
There near the trees, zombies coming for them. They who cannot die from day or night, but from attacks or spells.
"Jack, keep firing those Frost Arrows." John ordered, as he raises his bumpy tree wand, which is a Stick with a leaf. Jack's arrow tips filled with icy blizzard. Snow petals surrounding. He fires and it strikes the Zombies, impaling their moving speed. He does the same to the other zombie. John's wand charges up blue mana before firing. Blue electrical bolts that zap and kill each zombies.
The players can see the Life Bar on top draining quickly down to zip and zilch, before the Zombies dissolve into pixels.
Music Chimes in, letting the two know they have earn their experience points. Behind the dissolving pixels, drops the leathery bags and a bow. John comes up to look at each of it.
"Nice. More Gold Coins." he inspects the Bow and then looks at Jack, "Over Here, Jack! This Bow's much better!"
"Better how?" Jack asked suspicious, "The last weapon I picked up cursed me."
"This one won't." John assured, "I used the identity spell, No curse. Better Blessing." he picks up the bow, "Here you go." and Jack catches it.
"Least this one's better." Jack mutters, and then catches eye of this weird portal, "Hey, what's that?"
John stands up and turns around, a Red Digitalized Portal, sound gives off the Modem Connection. "That's not in the Events List. Is it?" he sees Jack running up, "Hey! Wait! We oughta report it to the Moderators!"
John follows Jack through the trees and uses the Bouilder for Hiding, as Jack does. He peeks out and finds three weird warriors coming out of the portal. Three in their different clothings. One is in a Red Gentleman Suit with a Black Tie. The other is in a Tank Shirt with Shorts and Boots, wearing red kickboxing gloves. The last one has a Weird Jester outfit, but no face makeup. And it is a Female. She carries a kingly rod.
"Those are not in the game." John said,
"No, but in another game." Jack said, but widens his eyes, "Wait. Aren't they from KTO? Kouma Trot Online?"
"Kouma Trot Online?"
"Yeah, The Game for all those Wet Anime Fan Dreamers." Jack answered to John,
"I think you mean Anime Otakus." John corrected, "That could mean that game's very popular in Japan."
"YO! ISHI! MUTO! TANIKA!" the both heard a shout and look up, a flying person with alien armor and suit. He is pointing at...
"John! We better run!" Jack said,
"Got it! I'll teleport us ou-" but before John can finish, a missile of energy comes down and explodes, knocking them separate. John uses the menu to open the Emergency Menu, to report to the Moderators and Admin, but the Tuxedo man comes up and thrusts the hi-tech sword down to the head, pixels dissolving, gradiently turning red before it pops like bubbles.
"The Death Tool is working." he said, "This one's out of the way." he looks at Jack trying to run through the tree. "Karipan!"
"Got it!" He flies and knocks one to the ground. He flies up close and charges up his key, before firing. "Nothing Pesonal, Noob!" he shouts out before firing a bursting blast of energy, before the target dissolves into popping pixels. "That's one exposer down."
"Great, now let's go find our Target." Muto reminded, "Karipan, you're on Sky Patrol. Report here when you find the player Starswirl." Karipan salutes and takes flight.
The Screen opens up with a news man.
"Good Evening. Chase Low for today while Mike South's at Hospital. It's been years since the NerveGear is disposed, and we thought to be safe in the world of VMMO. But now today, death count is rising by few numbers. Five Players who were playing Daylight Tales Online were found dead when they witnessed the Red Portal. This could be the case of the Game Invasion."
The screen shows other vmmo games with red portals shown, showing players from another game.
"This means that other players reported other players approaching from the same game. This was what they last saw before struck down. Their lives lost from the use of the ''Death Tool' program, which meant to shut down the Player's Minds permanently."
"The Moderators and Admins advises the players to be aware and be vigilante of the invading players, as the officials work to send them back to their game. If you see those players coming out of the Red Portal, report to the Officials Immediately."
