"Ninaaaaaaaaaaa!" she heard that young woman was yelling her name from a distance. She immediately pulled her knife and started to run to her. She reached her and asked "What happened? Are you okay? Did they found us?" she was anxious.
"No, no nothing's wrong. Look! There's someone here!" She could finally calm down and looked where she pointed. There was a young man laying in the bushes, unconscious.
"Oh, Xiao, we're leaving now." She started to pull her arm.
"Wait! We can't leave him here like that. Maybe he was running from the same guys. We can't leave him."
"Yes, we can. Now, walk!" Xiaoyu got rid of her grip. "Grandpa will be upset if he hears that you wouldn't help this guy."
"Oh yeah? What if this guy is not who you think? What if he is with the bad guys? Then everyone would be upset, right? Or dead?"
"He's unconscious now, he can't hurt anybody in this situation. We can understand and put an end if he is with the bad guys."
She exhaled nervously. "Do whatever you want. I won't help you." But she still stayed, of course she wouldn't leave her alone in any case.
Xiaoyu happily clapped. "Okay, I can lift him. No problem." She tried to but failed. He was too heavy for her.
"Ugh! I can.. lift him." She was still trying to. But she could only move his arm. Nina decided it was more torturing to watch her try this. She exhaled loudly and decided to help her. Hold his arm and throw it on her shoulder.
"Ugh! He's really heavy."
Xiaoyu did the same thing but she was shorter so greater percent of the weight was still on Nina. They lift him until they reach the abandoned hospital in the woods. Where they all live.
"Hey, what is that?"
"Hwoarang, stop talking and help me." Nina shouted.
"Who the hell is that guy?"
"Ask her." she could say out of breath. Hwoarang changed places with Xiaoyu.
"Hella heavy motherf-"
"Xiao found her prince charming in the woods and couldn't let him go." she interrupted his curse words, she didn't want Xiaoyu to hear it.
Xiaoyu excitedly said "I will go tell Granpa!" and run.
"Why did you let her? Who the hell is this guy?" They throw him on a hospital bed.
"She didn't listen. Annoying kid. I don't know who the fuck is this. Let's hope he's harmless."
Then Xiaoyu and her grandfather Jinrei entered.
"Here, grandpa! He's unconscious. I found him in the woods. There was nothing around."
Jinrei looked at the man. Recognized him. But decided not to tell the others.
"I suggested to leave him there. We don't know him. He can bring harm."
"I see, my child. You are right to think that. Unknown may bring harm and destruction. But also can bring luck and joy. Never hesitate to give them a chance, as long as you are powerful enough to prevent if something bad happens."
Nina rolled her eyes and left the room. Sit on the couches of the waiting room of the abandoned hospital. A few minutes later, Hwoarang came.
"You see, my child! We should let every motherfucker we don't know in, until one of them kills us." he imitated Jinrei and made Nina laugh.
"Hahaha..."
"I mean we should've learned our lessons. Look at you, we let you in and here you are not useful for shit." he said.
She throw him the closest object. "Fuck off!"
He laughed and sit next to her.
"Where is Forest and Kunimitsu?"
"I don't know, working out maybe?"
Xiaoyu walked in cheerfully. She was very excited to rescue someone.
"Hey Xiao! Miharu stopped by again. Didn't we agree no one's friend stops by?!" Hwoarang said.
"Come on! She is Miharu." she said and turned to Nina. "Nina, grandpa said to take care of him and his wounds."
"Yeah? Do it then?" she crossed her arms.
"Ninaa, please, you know I'm still not that good at it. Please help me. Please?"
"You brought him here and took the responsibility. Why are you bothering me?"
"Nina please?"
"Not a chance." she stood up. "I am going to work out with Forest and Kunimitsu."
Xiaoyu frowned. "They are not working out?"
Nina frowned too. "Where are they then?"
"They went to the city in the morning. They were supposed to bring new guns, ammo and some food."
"Anyway, I am going to workout. You start to take responsibilities of your doings. Bye." she left.
She went to backyard of the hospital where they put their workout gears. She started to think the first time she come here. She was lost and afraid. She was running from the bad men who were trying to capture her. She run into the woods and run from them for hours. Then she fell tired and lost her conscience in the middle of the forest. When she woke up she was on someone's shoulder and there was a red-haired man and also red-haired a woman with eye-band closing both her eyes walking behind. She thought she was captured. She quickly get off his shoulder and kicked him. After he fell to the ground she started to run again. She was still tired but when she felt they were after her she kept running.
"Heeeeeeeey! Waiiit!" they were shouting but she wasn't gonna stop. After a few minutes later, she made them lose her track. And she leaned her back against a tree to control her breaths. She was checking around if someone was coming. After some time she is convinced that they lost her track. She started to walk the other way. But hen someone jump off a tree and hold her shoulder behind and locked her arms. It was the red-haired woman.
"We are harmless." she said. Then the other came and they took her to the abandoned hospital. They were not the ones trying to capture her. They were actually hiding from the same guys. Here in the woods, in this abandoned hospital. Later they helped her to get well and she stayed with them. They became something lika a family. Master Wang, his granddaughter Xiaoyu, Hwoarang, Forest and Kunimitsu. Now Nina was one of them also. They were hiding from Mishimas who were trying to capture them and use them as subjects in laboratories. Like they did to her sister Anna. She lost her sister to them and run away. She was still feeling guilty about it after two years. God knows how they were treating her. And the others, all of them lost someone to them for their experiments. That's why they were having this underground little family and their ultimate goal was to bring them down. But for now, they were trying to make it to another day. They need food, supplies, connections. And none of them was easy to find.
So that was the story.
She worked out enough and decided to go back in case the guy woke up and maybe he was not to bring luck or joy. She entered the hospital and heard some squeaks. She frowned. The noises were coming from the room where they put the unknown guy. She went to see what is happening.
It was Xiaoyu and her best friend Miharu. They were watching the sleeping guy from a distance and talking about him.
"He's so handsome Xiao!"
"Isn't he? And I bandaged his wounds. You should see, he's very muscular."
Miharu screamed silently.
Nina rolled her eyes. "Hey, you little perverts!" They startled when they realised Nina was there, hearing them.
"Go and help Forest and Kunimitsu. They are coming with their hands full." They quickly left the room, they were embarrassed.
Nina chuckled and shook her head after them. She was leaving the room but she stopped. She wanted to check the bandages Xiaoyu has done.
They were okay but she decided to do them better herself. She removed them and started to do it from the beginning. When she was bandaging, the guy started to talk in his sleep. First they were uncoherent, meaningless sounds. Then they started to form words.
"I am.. not..." Meaningless sounds again. She tried to ignore them and kept bandaging. "One of them... from... Mishimas" She stopped when she heard the last word. He said Mishimas. Why was he talking about Mishimas. Was he one of them? Or not one of them? Who was he? She finished bandaging him. Still looking at him confusedly.
"Who's the new guy?" she came to her senses when she heard Forest's voice.
"Prince anonymous. Our princess found him."
"Did you bring him in?"
"Yes."
"Hope he didn't kick you and run." he referred her first time.
She chuckled. "No, he didn't woke up. You would've have a chance against him."
"Ha ha." he fake laughed. "I would like to see your chance against him if he would've woke up."
"Still higher than yours." she chuckled.
Then Kunimitsu entered. Since she was blind, she went to check his pulse and his scent. That was how she would recognises people. She raised a brow. Then shrugged and left the room. She wasn't speaking if it's not necessary. Unlike Hwoarang who wasn't keeping his mouth closed.
"Let's go." she said and they left the room. They all sat down and Hwoarang hand all of them tea. They were having a chat. Forest was telling what happened today in the city.
Nina was thinking about the anonymous guy. Who was he? Was he to bring luck and joy or more likely harm and destruction? What was his connection to Mishimas? Was he one of them? Or against them?
"Hello! From earth to Nina? Earth to Nina?" Forest was waving his hand in front of her face.
"Uh, sorry. Yes?" she come to her senses.
"What are you doing in the outer space? I am telling the coolest story here, pay attention."
"Sorry, I am listening. Go on."
"So they guy told me to take 'my wife' and leave or someone might get hurt. Then he grabbed Mitsu's wrist. Then she took his wrist and turn him around himself then back-kicked him in the face..."
He told every exciting thing happened to them today. They said goodbye to Miharu before the sunset. And they had a lovely chat and laughed till midnight.
First Kunimitsu got up and saluted everyone then go to her room, then everyone took their leave. Nina was on her door but she stopped. She had to check the guy before. It had been hours, maybe he had waken up. And she could question him.
She went to the room. He was still in the same position.
He was alright but it's been hours. Is he dead, she thought. Decided to check his breathing. Hold her finger to his nose and there was very little breathing. She touched his neck to check on his pulse. It was weak but it was there. So she decided to left. She was pulling her hand from his neck but suddenly he grabbed her arm and pulled her to the bed and closed her mouth with his other hand. What he wasn't expecting was her kicking him in the gut with her knee and get rid of his grip. She quickly got up and pulled her knife. She was gonna ask who he was but couldn't when he started to attack him. She was dodging and started to swing her knife across the air. But he was escaping them successfully.
"Who are you?"
"Who are you?"
They asked the same thing at the same time when they got a second to breathe. She swung her knife again, he caught her arm and turned her around and locked her arms.
"What do you want from me?" he said under his breath angrily. She started to backwards very fast and caused him to hit his back to wall. And she saved one her hands and open the cabinet to take a tranquilizer. She took one and get rid of him. But he saw it and he took another. She started go backwards again. He attacked her with the syringe on his hand. She ducked and get behind him. She knew where she bandaged him. She attacked his wounds and made him vulnerable to any attack. He turned to her to attack but she kicked him back and caused him to fall onto bed. She quickly sit on his stomach and pinned his hand, the one he holds the syringe in. Then she inserted the syringe on his muscle. He groaned and liberated his hand. And he inserted the syringe on her thigh.
He started to lose his conscious again. She let him go and hardly stood up. She was also feeling dizzy. She could took a few steps and fall to the ground after hearing footsteps approaching.
A/N: Hello everyone. I had writing block for the other story but I had this new idea. This story is different from the worlds of tekken. I was kinda bored of it. That's why I cannot write new chapter for Trouble Future for a few days. But this story won't be long. 2 or 3 chapters maybe, I don't know, we'll see. It's all depend on my muses and my will to write :D It's a Jin x Nina story, do I have to tell?
