Prologue: The Emerald Mission

Above the Emerald Forest, a bullhead is flying at high-speed to an unknown location, inside of the bullhead is a group of young girls. The first is a young girl with neck-length black hair and red tips, she also has silver eyes named Ruby Rose. The second is a young woman with long white hair and it is into an off-center ponytail, she has light blue eyes named Weiss Schnee. The third is a young woman with wavy black hair and a small bow on top of her head, she has amber eyes named Blake Belladonna. The fourth is a young woman with lilac eyes and bright golden hair that fades to pale gold named Yang Xiao Long. Those girls from Team RWBY and they're mission is to investigate a strange energy spike close to the Mountain of the Emerald Forest by Professor Ozpin.

"Hey Rubes!" Yang called out to Ruby.

"Yes Yang!" Ruby reply back to Yang.

"What do you think is there at those mountains?" Yang is asking about the mission to her little sister.

"I don't sis, I am also curious as you are?" Ruby answer her older sister as she is also pondering that question.

"Maybe it's some kind old ruin that was storing a large quantity of Cristallise Dust or an old facility that was abandoned and forgotten by its previous occupants?" Blake says this by suggesting that possibility too her teammates.

"Maybe it's possible, but why do we only detect this strange energy only now that is bordering me right now?" Weiss add to this while sharing her concern to the other.

"I don't know Weiss, but if Professor Ozpin is worried and wants us to investigate this strange energy. It might be, because he trusts us to do this well." Ruby reply by answering Weiss concerns for this particular mission. "And maybe it's better us that finding it, than for ours enemies that find out what this strange power level can do to us" Ruby adding also to her friends by acknowledging this.

Earlier this morning at Beacon Academy…

At Team RWBY dorm, they're talking about what they would like to do today for this weekend.

"Hey girls, what do you want to do today?" Yang asked the other of they want to do.

"I want to go at the weapon shop to see what weapons they got there and maybe buy some upgrade for Crescent Rose." Ruby by answering back to Yang with a big smile of excitement and she is still in her bunk bed also wearing pyjama.

"Me, I may need to get some more Dust for Myrtenaster and maybe later go shopping for new clothes." Weiss answers to this while she doing some homework and still in her pyjama.

"Me, I will go to the library to see if they have any news books in store." Blake by saying this while still reading her book.

"Me, I want to see a movie, maybe with you guys." Yang was telling this while standing in the middle of the room.

There's a silence for a couple of minutes has they were think on what they were going to do. But suddenly they're scrolls is beginning to buzz and they look all at there scroll.

"I think will have to put it later, because Professor Ozpin wants to see us at is office." Yang is notified them of Ozpin message before they says it.

"Awww man…" Ruby retorque this with disappointment by not the able to give some love to baby.

"Sorry Rubes, maybe next time ok." Yang respond to her little sister disappointment, by trying to cheering her up.

"OK Yang." Ruby replying back to her while at the same time she get down from her bed and goes changed her clothes. After all the rest of the Team follow they're leader by one of time goes changing their clothes, afterward they leave their dorm and they go to the elevator that will go to Professor Ozpin office.

A couple of minutes later…

Inside of the elevator: "What do you think Professor Ozpin wants with us during the weekend?" Weiss is asking to Yang and the rest of the Team.

"I don't know in fact Weiss, is message just said that he wanted to see us?" Yang by replying back to Weiss question while she shrug to her.

"Do you think it's about the White Fangs?" Blake is suggested to her teammates that possibility.

"Maybe it is or maybe it isn't, we don't know?" Weiss replying by also shrugging to Blake.

"We'll we would soon find out because we're here." As Ruby is told them all of this. The doors of the elevator is now opening.

As Team RWBY leave the elevator and come closer to the door of Prof. Ozpin office. When Ruby has almost knock to the door, they hear a voice from the other side

"You can coming girls!" Has Professor Ozpin is calling out to them from the inside is office to Team RWBY.

They open the doors to be surprise to see with the Headmaster during he was looking at the window drinking is coffee was Ms. Glynda Goodwitch beside him and Doctor Oobleck sitting in front of Professor Ozpin desk.

"So Professor Ozpin, you wanted to see us for something?" Ruby by asking him with a bit of confusion as to why he call them on a weekend.

"Ah yes, takes all a sit, if you please." Has Prof. Ozpin ask them that, all of Team RWBY took a sit. "So what is that you call us during our weekend?" Yang is also asking almost the same question as Ruby.

"We want to send you, on a mission at the mountain near the Emerald Forest, because our sensors detected a strange energy fluctuation and wants your Team to investigate?" Prof. Ozpin is mentioning to them and send them on urgent situation.

"Yes yes, wants we pick up that strange energy signature, it was at a level that is quite concerning! If it unchecked it can catastrophic!" Doc. B. Oobleck told them this thread with his usual way of fast speaking.

"Yes and while in this mission Dr. Oobleck help you by searching of what you going to expect in that area. So go and prepare yourself, I already prepare a bullhead for you. So go and be careful, good hunt." Has Prof. Ozpin is telling this to them. Team RWBY took their leave, then Ruby said to them: "Thank you!" And they shut the doors behind them.

"Are you sure it's a good idea to send them there, we don't even know what's in that old facility?" Ms. Goodwitch mention this with a concern for the girls.

Professor Ozpin then sigh and said while drinking some of is coffee: "I don't know Ms. Goodwitch? But I hope that nothing bad happens to them and that everything goes well, because if something bad happens to them. There famille won't let me here the end of it."

"Hopefully this goes well has myself is worried of that place, because it has some much bad historical use." Doctor Oobleck state this with calmer worrying tone of voice and some concerning thought.

"Yes it does Doctor, yes it does." Professor Ozpin replied to this while sipping some coffee.

A/N: Hello everyone, I wanted to said this is my first time publishing a fan fiction and this is a challenge that was giving to the community by Mysterioustgexpert in 17/07/2015. But if someone already thinking that challenge, please let me know and I will the necessary changes to my story.

Also you guys can help me with the pun for Yang, this will be very appreciated. Because I don't know a lot of the pun that exist out there. So thank you if giving some help me for that part. Also before I forget in this story. They're more characters that it isn't showing on the top page.
