Synopsis: After the devastating battle of Hong Kong, Monarch seized the assets of Apex Cybernetics. Without the corruption of Ghidorah's influence, new mechanical giants were created to defend humanity from future colossal attacks and rebuild in the destructive aftermath. Jaegers. After incursions of new inter-dimensional monsters, kaijus, the Jaegers proved themselves to be Earth's newest saviors. Humanity no longer needed to helplessly rely on the mercy of titans. Until the arrival of a new threat. Alien invaders hailing from the same planet as monster zero. Gigan and Megalon. With the death of their three-headed king, they had deemed Earth a grave danger to their kind and distant home. The nefarious duo would stop at nothing to eradicate this planet. Perhaps humanity would need the original titans once more.

The alien monster had led the two Jaeger pilots to the heart of the hollow earth. A wondrous valley of vibrant beauty surrounded by glowing mountain peaks, rich in valuable ores. A paradise untouched by the corruption of humanity. One about to be forever tainted by unworldly forces.

"Wow…" Mako Mori could not help but gaze in awe. She wondered if the sky above them was truly a glimmering hue of gold or if it was merely the reflection of this vast field of minerals and amber foliage.

"Focus, babe." Raleigh Becket redirected his wife's attention to the flying bogey. "Stay on target." His voice was calm yet worried as he eyed this alien threat. The same threat that wiped out the next generation of Jaegers; destroyed every Monarch facility that stood in its path; and any titan ally that dared oppose it. It was the fastest and most lethal kaiju they had ever faced. It almost eliminated the pair in their last encounter at the tundra, and now it was allowing them to follow along, straight into the center of the planet.

"What is Gigan up to?" She whispered pensively, readying the giant sword.

"Nothing good."

The upgraded Gypsy Danger slid down the slope, hopping into the plentiful garden that would put Eden to shame. All weapon systems were now fully loaded and on standby as the mechanical giant approached with caution. Meanwhile, the creature landed atop a hived orb of a gem planted smack into a crater. One that glowed brighter than all the other rocks. Perhaps the origin of this place. The fallen star from the legends drawn across the ruins of Kong's ancient temple.

Gigan looked onto the steel warrior. Then let out an awful bellow. One of laser-like frequencies spiking in and out. A vile cackle. It was laughing at them. Its red uni-visor now began to flare furiously.

"Shields!" Becket tensed into position. His partner followed with haste. They knew firsthand what devastation came next.

But the attack was not for them. No, the beam instead fired directly into the glowing meteor. The ground trembled as its color changed to a sickly orange, thus affecting the skies around them.

"No! The heart!" Mako cried.

"It's killing this place." Her husband uttered in shock.

"It'll kill our home!" She was familiar with the legends. Took some of the lore as gospel. Mori knew if the heart was to be destroyed, with its life force extinguished, the hollow earth would collapse, and the surface above would follow in wake.

Readings displayed around their conn-pod drastically shifted to alarming results to further indicate this terrifying fact. They had to do something. Far as the married couple knew… they were the only ones left who could.

Shoulder cannons revolved out, launching a barrage of missiles at the murderous alien. But the orb generated its own magnetic field, repelling the rockets. They exploded all across the scene like pitiful fireworks.

The heart now dropped to a low shade of blue, losing life. The alien did not waver. Black clouds amassed in this now navy sky. An ominous display that caught the attention of every distant creature that found sanctuary in this place. A place once bright in beauty, now dark with imminent death.

The duo screamed in desperation, rushing the heart. But it's force was still too strong. No machinery could pass through its field, and despite Gigan's bladed form, she was unaffected for she was made of organic metal. Her awful laugh bellowed out once more at their futile attempts. Until something much louder cancelled her out. Something that silenced her with concern. A familiar roar that brought a thankful smile to the human's faces.

Before any defensive reaction could manifest, a powerful blast of neon blue knocked Gigan off the heart. From atop the nearest mountain range, stood the King of the Monsters.

"Gojira." What would have once been the most dreadful of omens, Mako was now overjoyed at the sight of their best chance for survival.

Godzilla had not stepped foot in the hollow earth for centuries upon centuries, but he remembered it looked nothing like this. This utter disgrace to his home. He was beyond angry.

Gigan squealed as she recovered to her feet. She surely wondered as to the whereabouts of her alien companion. The ruthless one tasked with defeating this great guardian of Earth. Megalon. The answer came in the form of a second roar. One just as distinct as Godzilla's.

The titan did not come alone.

"Holy shit." Becket did not bother to hide his dumbfounded grin.

Kong emerged beside him, donning the harvested exoskeletal remains of the alien invader as armor. His skills in tools and craftsmanship had improved with his time here. Given more, he would be just as skilled as his mighty ancestors, and he would make sure there would be more time. His home would not die today. The bulky ape tightened a large vine holding his shoulder piece in place and proceeded to pound his protected chest as he roared once again. He then lifted his new trophy weapons. The very drills of Megalon.

Gigan screeched at the sight of her fallen comrade, his ripped husks used as mere armor plates. She took to the skies, avoiding another atomic breath.

The fearsome duo jumped into battle, skidding down the slope of the mountain. The fight against Megalon was a gruesome one. Godzilla chipped a few dorsal plates, and even had to use his signature breath to cauterize a deep thigh wound and a severe gash on Kong's arm. But they walked away victorious with their new battle scars. Forces combined, there was nothing these two monstrous kings could not accomplish. And now… they were joining a Jaeger.

"After it!" Becket initiated their thrusters and off they went.

The ground was currently unstable for them anyhow. With the heart of the hollow earth damaged, the energy maintaining the already abnormal gravity here was now weakened. The slightest jump or hit would carry any of these heavy combatants higher into the air than anticipated.

"We're not fast enough." His copilot reminded him as they evaded floating hunks of mineral deposits.

"We don't have to be." They hovered steady, releasing flares that caught Gigan's attention. The veteran then gestured to the flashing light indicating their newly installed weapon. "Catch my drift?" He smiled at her.

She nodded with a smirk.

The alien effortlessly spun clear of Godzilla's stream of blue radiation. Her perfectly aerodynamic form sliced through the dark skies with unbelievable speed and sharp evasiveness. Said form of razor blades and spinal wings headed straight for the presumed weakest target. It was an incorrect presumption.

"Heat signature locked." Mako informed.

"Perfect. Let's ground the bastard." Gypsy's hands transformed into spinning mechanisms that hummed with anti-matter. After a slash across the arm, Gigan sped off, but it would not be far. "Gravity pull!"

The alien was sucked in, suspended midair, helplessly wriggling about.

"We positive they won't attack us?" Raleigh wanted some form of confirmation as the titans were now closing in beneath them.

"Kong knows us. Gojira… well, he does what he wants." She admitted with a slight shoulder shrug.

"I can respect that. Hopefully he respects the monkey." He figured what the hell.

The Jaeger dove straight down, crashing Gigan into boulders of floating gems along the way. The humiliation ended with a momentum fueled spin throw to the surface.

When the dust settled, the invader was met with a vicious bite to its long neck. Godzilla's fangs sunk in, piercing its shiny, viper-like scales. At the sound of a laser sharp cry, the tiny razor blades down her mid-torso vibrated frantically like a power saw. A deadly defense mechanism for when predators got too close. They grazed the apex's throat, releasing his jaws.

But Gigan was not safe yet. As she tried to stand, a brutal blow at the hands of Kong cracked her visor. At long last, the only material strong enough to have made a dent was that of her close, alien cousin. Though no longer able to drill in place, with the beast's natural strength, his gauntlets packed a devastating punch. He drove another jab into the alien's softer side. Bioluminescent blood leaked out from the points of impact.

Gigan was in overwhelming danger and thus used the weakened gravity of the environment to her advantage. She erected out the blades all around her body and spun in a mad frenzy to keep the attackers at bay.

Kong lifted his fists, protecting himself behind Megalon's drills while Godzilla was forced back.

"Quit squirming." Becket groaned as they closed in, taking the scrapes. Their whole Jaeger was armor.

Gigan slashed at Gypsy with its bladed forearms, but in doing so made the terrible mistake of turning its back on the King. As they locked swords, a neon blue blast cratered her into the ground. She never stood a chance against a trio such as this.

"It's softest at the joints!" Mori targeted the spot on their display.

Painfully slowed by the titans, with just one masterful swipe the Jaeger cut an arm clean off with its saber. More luminescent blood sprayed all over as Godzilla tail whipped Gigan back to the ground after an attempt to flee. Kong then leapt right on top of her, delivering relentless blow after blow. A savage gorilla attack, pounding away with his drill-covered fists.

Until a red glow reflected off his eyes. They widened as he rolled out of the way of an optic blast. His shoulder piece took the hit, while the cornered creature spun wildly again, scorching the other two.

Gigan dashed off into the air but the gravity weapon, specifically designed for her, was already prepped. It yanked the alien back. Back towards the sharp end of the saber.

"This is for Monarch." Becket said vengefully as they dug their sword so deep it edged out on the other side.

It was not laughing any longer. It was bleeding out. It was growing increasingly desperate. Face-to-face with the Jaeger's head, the cracked uni-visor gleamed once more.

Mori cursed in Japanese.

To their rescue, Kong somersaulted right in from over the mech's shoulder, delivering a heavy dropkick with all his weight. It was more than enough to shove the impaled alien clean off the saber. The surprise halted the optic beam, and within that split moment the all powerful atomic geyser propelled Gigan across the battlefield, tearing her spiked body apart.

What remained of the defeated invader smacked hard against the dim heart. A sliver of fight lingered within her. Enough to commit one last act of desperation. An atrocity. With Gigan's one remaining blade, she hacked into the greatly weakened meteor, releasing a faint mist of blue energy. The same energy that made the King of the Monsters unrivaled.

The titans roared as the trio sprinted in to stop her, but one hack was all it took.

This breed of alien, they never failed their intergalactic missions. This planet would die. One way or another. Her visor cracked all across as the fiery glow now radiated out of every punctured and flayed orifice. A weaker bellow then eroded out, almost like a cough. Gigan had herself one final laugh before self-destructing into a powerful blast of neon red. It created such a magnitude that it knocked the trio back hundreds of kilometres.

Imploding right beside the leaking gem, the contrasting energy sources caused an unforeseeable reaction. One that painted the skies in a horrific violet. One that shook the hollow earth more violently than before. One that broke down the surrounding atmosphere to an atomic level; breaking the very fabric of their reality. A torn visage that was dreadfully familiar to the pilots.

"A rift…" They uttered in frightened unison.

The heart was no longer visible. There was only the newly created rift that stretched across for miles. Its flowing purple aura illuminated the valley with accompanying whips of lighting. It was raw power. The like of which this world had never experienced.

"It's much bigger than the one we closed in the pacific." Mako observed.

"Yeah, readings are off the charts." Becket tried to tally up the number of anomalies, "Picking up five. Now seven-a dozen-three dozen-several categories! They just… oh god..." but they were multiplying faster than his instruments could count.

In came the terrifying flood. Kaiju of all kinds pouring out in droves. A violent sea of rough hides and scales with traces of neon linings. All gushing out, trampling the fertile land beneath them. A tidal wave of claws and teeth washing over this paradise.

The King would have none of it. His harsh atomic breath sprayed across the stampede, holding them back. But there were far too many. Only a few dozens disintegrated away. The smaller ones scurried below the line of fire. Larger ones flopped right over.

Gypsy Danger unleashed every available rocket in its arsenal. Each one a direct hit. Though the oncoming wave was so massive, firing at any general direction before then would have made contact.

Yet an army of stragglers still pierced through the smoke, wilder and angrier than before. There was no stopping this inter-dimensional horde.

"Any ideas?" Raleigh asked through his unsteady heart.

Kong answered by aggressively pounding his gauntlets against the ground before shouting a fearless roar at the new threat.

Mako was in full agreement. "Fight." She replied with conviction.

One could not help but feel unstoppable in a Jaeger, even against such unprecedented odds. Now imagine the courage with Earth's most formidable monsters as backup. With the legendary titans at each of its sides, the renowned Gypsy Danger advanced into the final battle, full tilt. The colossal allies followed without hesitation. The earth quaked under the amassed might that was about to collide into a catastrophic display that would determine the very fate of the world.
