Chapter 1 - "Lucy's Past Story"
12 years ago, there were four kids playing around at the playground outside. The weather was sunny and a little windy. A medium blonde haired girl named Lucy Heartfilia was playing with three girls; Levy McGarden, Mirajane Strauss, and Lisanne Strauss. All three girls were her best friends.
"I want to tell you all something important," Lucy said, "Today is my last day to see you all. My parents will move to a new place." Levy felt sad and grabbed her hands, "No way! We will miss you so much!"
"But one thing we can remember . . . Wait a minute," Lucy ran towards the bench where her small pink purse with bow ribbon was. Lucy pulled three things out of her purse, "It's my gift to you all. It's the bracelets," she handed her bracelets to the girls. All two were happy wearing them. "It's so pretty!" Mirajane frowned then smiled slowly, "We will remember you. Until the day we will meet again, my friend." Levy's parents came to pick her up on the way home. "Bye bye, my friends!" Levy waved happily and left with her parents.
Mirajane pulled Lisanne's right arm closer to her, "We must do something to her. I hate her and her cheerful personality. Help me when it is the right time to do." Mirajane waved to Lucy, "We can play the dome climbing until one of our parents arrives." Lucy nodded. They played and played and played until the right time had come . . .
When Lucy climbed up to the top of the dome climber, Mirajane pushed her beside hardly. She fell down on the grass ground and hitted her back head. As when her mother, Layla Heartfilia, arrived and witnessed herself, "L-LUCY!" She ran towards Lucy and hugged her. Her head was bleeding, so she went to the emergency room immediately with her mother.
"I-Is she going to be ok?" Her mother panicked. A doctor checked her head and some tests for her.
The next day, when she finally woke up and looked around to see where she was. Her mother hugged her tightly, "I am glad you're ok . . . I am so glad."

Lucy's P.O.V
She puzzled as her mother hugged her, "M-mom?"
. . . . .
'There's no sound? Why can't I hear my own voice?' Lucy realized that she can't hear anything. She started to cry, "M-m-mom, I-I can't hear anything!" Her mother pushed slightly to see her face and started to speak. Lucy didn't know what her mother was saying, there was no sound in her mouth.
"I don't know what you are saying because I can't hear anything including your voice!" She shook her head while crying.

Normal's P.O.V
Her mother called the doctor to come checking on her. "Is she having an illness?" she asked. The doctor patted her head, "She is fine. She has no illness."
"Then what? Why can't she hear anything? She can't hear my voice," she asked the doctor again.
"To be honest, she can't hear anything because her ears have been damaged due falling from the playground. It's the common case with some patients." the doctor checked her results, "I think you should learn how to use sign language or your daughter has to learn how to read lips. She will be discharged tomorrow." The doctor bowed slightly and left to check other patients. Her mother sighed deeply and sat down on the chair next to Lucy. Lucy sobbed, "I am sorry, Mom. I was careless."
.
.
12 years later as the present, now Lucy was 22 years old and started to work on her first career as the secretary at the Fairy Group. The chief administrative officer was Makarov Dreyar who hired her as the secretary. She was wearing a white shirt button up and black skinny jeans and a half up & half down hair with a black ribbon. She ran on the sidewalk to get on the bus. She arrived there late to meet the director.
"My, my, Ms. Heartfilia, take your time. Don't run or you will fall," The CAO, Makarov Dreyar waved joyfully, "I have one person in my mind, you will work with. Come with me." So Lucy followed him until the director's office. Makarov knocked the door two times. "Come in," a deep voice was coming out of this office. Makarov opened the door and met the director, a blonde spiky haired and muscular body wearing a purple shirt button up and black pants named Laxus Dreyar.
Makarov turned his head towards Lucy, "This is Laxus Dreyar, my grandson. He will be your boss starting today." Lucy bowed, "Nice to meet you, Mr. Dreyar. My name is Lucy Heartfilia. Starting today, please teach me well," Lucy reached his right hand towards Laxus to shake hands.
"Whatever you want. I am busy with tons of workpapers," he looked away and went back sitting on the comfort black chair. Lucy can't read his lips, and pouted. Makarov grabbed her hand, "No worry. Trust me, I know you aren't able to read his lips. One day, he will find out," Makarov whispered so Laxus can't hear, "Well, good luck with your boss." he waved and left hurriedly.
'How can I read his lips . . . ? I can't tell him that I can't hear anything. If I do, will he fire me?' she was in deep thoughts.
Finally the chapter one is over! What do you think of this chapter? Is it good or bad? Surprised to see Mirajane as a villain character? Please don't hate me because of her. Only Makarov Dreyar and Lucy's mother know that she can't hear.
Next chapter will be shocking truth and will have some LaLu moments too.
