Pokémon Ignition
Episode 1 – Battle Begin
In the beautiful lands of Telles region, where people and Pokémon live in harmony. Where nature and technology have unfolded raising various mysteries. The region being famous for its archaeological sightings, which prove that it is one of the oldest regions in Earth. As the narrator speaks first the greenery is shown and then slowly some ruins formed in spectacular shapes are shown. It is a tough place to start one's journey but it looks like someone is up for the challenge.
Slowly the scene zooms out of the earth and again zooms in to a plane and then into a raven-haired young boy sleeping. He is wearing a Red and white coat top and blue jeans. On top him lied a small yellow creature, what they call a Pokémon.
We have arrived at Telles Region, passengers fasten your seat belts for landing as we prepare to land. The plane begins descending into the city and slowly lands into the airport. The raven-haired trainer gets off the plane in his usual fashion. He falls down the stairs. His Pokémon is careful enough to jump off early.
But this time he's got company, an older man with white coat, blue shirts and cargo pants got down to help the trainer. He said, "Get up Ash. Be more careful when getting down."
The trainer finally spoke, "Professor I think they make these stairs too slippery," The supposedly professor chimes in, "or you are way to excited to notice the stairs Ash."
Ash and Professor Oak stroll around the streets until they reach a bus stop. "Professor? What are we doing in a bus stop? Isn't the stadium near?" Ash asks searching for it.
The professor walks to a map of Telles, and points to the bottom of the map. "This is where the stadium is located in. It's called Aspartia City." Ash looks at the map of Telles. He asks his partner. "What do you think Pikachu? Are you excited as I am to participate in the Stadium's grand inauguration?" Pikachu nods back with excitement.
A bus arrives and they got on it. The bus began moving away from the city.
Ash is on his way to Aspartia City's Pokémon Stadium's grand opening along with Professor Oak.
The bus enters a thick forest and suddenly everything gets dark. Ash is astonished by this and continues looking around. "Ash, this is the Great Telles Rainforest. One of the biggest rainforests in the world. It is home to many Pokémon and plants."
As they continue, they see a small lake with many Pokémon around it drinking water. Ash looking at the river suddenly notices a huge black shadow in the middle of the lake. Pikachu too notices it. Surrounding it many other small black shadows begin to appear.
Ash asks the bus driver to stop and runs off towards the lake. Oak confused runs after him. Pikachu climbs on Ash's head and looks around.
The dark shadow begins to become bigger and bigger until a blue Pokémon comes out. With many other blue Pokémon. Ash looks at it amused. "What is that Professor?"
The Professor carefully looked at it and declared, "That is a Serpaqua, the Loch Lake Monster Pokémon. The other seems to be its prior evolutions."
Ash is astonished by the fact that he has seen a new Pokémon. "We have already met new Pokémon Pikachu isn't it amazing. This is signs of a great adventure." Pikachu nods. "What if we catch one of them?" Ash removes a Poke ball and aims at one of the smaller Pokémon.
Professor stops him, "Don't Ash. This is a reserved rainforest area. No catching is allowed here. And it isn't nicer to take them away from their habitat either."
Ash is saddened by the fact that he is unable to catch one. But they return to the bus and finally reach the outskirts of Aspartia City.
Professor Oak points out to a huge building and says, "That is Cedar Labs, the famous lab run by my friend Professor Cedar." The bus stops at the bus terminal and both of them get off the bus.
The begin to stroll around the city as Professor Oak is trying to find directions, Ash is looking around the huge city. Pikachu is too keen to look around as well.
"Ash it would be a great help if you helped me to find directions with me." Professor Oak said shrugging. "I already did." Professor Oak look towards Ash and he can clearly see the new stadium.
"Professor isn't it like the ones they show in movies?" Ash asked. "Infect Ash this was earlier what was called a Colosseum. The citizens of Telles donated their money to renovate it to invite outsiders here."
After walking in the road for some time they reach the stadium. In the entrance the security is checking every visitor and upon seeing Professor Oak one of the securities calls out, "Professor Oak?"
He replies, "Yes". "Please come this side, Master Drake is waiting for you in the Colosseum Halls."
Professor Oak follows the security guard and they reach the hall.
Inside stood a tall muscular man, with Black colored hair and wore a shirt with a brown coat on. He turned around and quickly moved to Professor Oak and greeted him, "Its an honor Professor Oak. That you have come to attend the stadium's inauguration." "The pleasure is all mine." He looks around Ash and asks, "Who might this lad be?"
"I am Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town and this is my partner Pikachu." Pikachu smiles.
"Nice meeting you Ash, I am Drake and I am glad to have you along." He said shaking Ash's hand.
"Professor Oak please in the Colosseum stands until we begin the ceremony. There is a slight delay, and I hope it is mistake." Oak replies, "Not a big deal, we will wait."
The security guard comes in and says, "Drake, Ray has not come yet." Drake looks confused, "That boy has never been the same since that day. Let him be Watson, I will talk to him later."
"But Drake what about the battle?" The guard supposedly Watson asks. "We will find another trainer who wants to fight."
Professor Oak and Ash who overheard it ask, "Any problem Drake?"
he replies, "Yes, the trainer who was supposed to battle me is now missing." Ash is energized and asks, "Can we battle, Master Drake? Won't you like it Pikachu?" Pikachu nods and looks poised.
"Well, if you want to but- "he says reluctantly. Professor Oak chimes in, "Drake, don't forget he is the champion of the Alola League." Drake is flattered, "Then there seems no other confusion. The honor would be mine to battle you."
The stage is set and the inauguration ceremony is ready to start with no problems. But is it without problems? The camera slowly moves into the stands where A Violet haired man, a pink haired woman and a short man with a hat are selling juice and snacks to the visitors.
The Man asks, "Jessie, do you really think we could pull this off?" The woman, Jessie is taken back. "James, how come you have such a doubt? The plan this time is made by me for this day."
The Man, James whispers aside, "That's why I am doubting this mission."
The short man replies, "Don't fight you idiots. We are in disguise and no one must know about. We are in for a treat as no twerps are around."
James acknowledges, "That is right with no twerps around, we will not be flying round."
Jessie seems happy and sits down and begins eating the snacks. "Hey Jessie, you might get us into trouble." James said. "Stop it James, I am very hungry. If I am hungry then this plan might fail."
"Let's finish this mission before any of those twerps surprisingly show up." Meowth declares.
The announcer welcomes everyone, "All people and Pokémon, welcome to the grand opening of the Pokémon Stadium of Aspartia city. This is your host, in the box keeping you updated." The light goes off and comes back with a stage being set up and Drake holding a club with fire in his hand.
"Master Drake, the guardian will inaugurate the ceremony with number of other senior members of the region."
Drake walks forward and ignites the huge bowl of wood. Everyone in the stadium roar.
Everyone settles back and soon another stage is set up during the time of firework displays.
The announcer announces, "Now coming to the exhibition match. Master Drake will battle."
The announcer pauses and continues, "Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town, the Champion of Alola."
The crowd is surprised but begins roaring as Drake walks to his side on the battle field.
Soon Ash enters the battle field on the opposite side, everyone cheers for Ash.
James in the stands, "Meowth can you look there, looks familiar." Meowth climbs on the railings and declares, "It's the Twerp with Pikachu for sure." Jessie who is eating upon hearing these spits on James' head.
"Hey Jessie, why did you do that?" James shouts. "It can't be." Jessie claims.
The camera is shown upon Ash and Pikachu ready to battle.
Drake removes his Poke ball and calls out, "Zoroak, show Ash yourself!" Zoroak is released from the ball and howls. "Drake has chosen Zoroak, what a common choice."
Ash looks at Pikachu and giggles, "I am counting on you buddy." Pikachu nods and races to the field and poses opposite Zoroak.
Both of them look confident. Ash is determined to win, so is Drake.
Will Ash win, or will Drake manage to succumb Ash?
