Nine years have passed since Tatsumi made a special promise to a special girl, a girl whom embodied everything he fought for and whom he promised could marry him when she was old enough to, now that little girl has grown up and the two are to be wed; even as the Galaxy caters on the brink of war, peace and love still have a chance and Tatsumi always keeps his word. A Promise made a promise kept: An Empire's End one-shot and short story

Author's Note: This story is a bit of idea I've had for a while and ties up a loose end in Empire's End namely Tatsumi's promise to Logue the daughter of Bols. This story is also meant to give Logue a happy ending for her character something badly deserved even though she did get one in Empire's End its only fair that the story for her go to the logical conclusion. With this in mind this will be a one-shot that is also canon with regards to Empire's End and Galaxy at war the sequel I've planned for Empire's End which will be a Star Wars/AGK crossover; so in this there will be some cameos from characters as this takes place a year after the start of Galaxy at War and one year before the Battle of Geonosis, as such I will be both referring to the year the story takes place by BBG in addition to the Imperial Calendar for Eden, the BBG and ABG are going to be time markers for Galaxy at War as the Empire will never rise because lets be honest if a person like me is going to write a Star Wars fanfic set in the Clone Wars the first thing I'm going to do is find a way to kill Palpatine off so no Empire, no Alderaan being blown up, no Battle of Yavin, also no Sequel Trilogy but let's be honest that dumpster fire can die in the garbage bin of history and thankfully no Ben Solo or Rey Palpatine which is even better, Jacen, Jaina and Anakin Solo will still be born in this timeline but no Caedus Arc NO. The Main pairing of this story is Tatsumi x Logue however there is still Tatsumi's harem in the background as it's still set after the events of Empire's End, song of the Eastern Isles and Killing Kuroinu so those have happened his harem is simply expanded from the events of those stories. Logue is the newest addition to his harem at this point, there is an age gap of nine years between Logue and Tatsumi as far as Imperial law is concerned so the reason that this didn't occur in Empire's End was simple Logue was not of age to marry.

Eden, 1 BBG, Ninth year of the Rule of Golden Dragon Emperor Tatsumi Gildenstrom VII of the Golden Dragon Empire, 1590 IC.

In the Imperial City of Melitine… Logue smiled as her alarm clock went off, on most days she'd turn it off and go back to sleep but on this day she jumped out of bed and shouted at the top of her lungs "It's the day! This is going to be the best day of my life, the best birthday ever, best sweet sixteen ever and just an amazing day!" Logue shouted and spun around in her night gown. Logue then immediately set to picking out her clothes for the day then went to the bathroom to shower and get ready for the day. After about a half-hour doing so Logue looked at herself in the mirror; Logue had grown up from a sweet and adorable young girl to a beautiful young woman and was now an adult by Imperial law, in Eden years she was 16 but by the reckoning of galactic years she was 20, either way the fact that she was old enough and the day had come for something she'd been planning for the past month and a half and dreaming off for the past 9 years was- well humbling.

Logue's humility however did not extend to her appearance as she spent a good amount of time on her cosmetics and making sure her hair was clean and brushed to perfection. Logue had grown up since the had first met the man she loved the most and had to wonder how much he'd love her for her beauty; her blonde hair was kept about neck length and styled in a bob-cut, Logue had sported this hairstyle since she was a kid and having tried numerous ones as she grew up she felt that the style she had when her life had changed forever was the best. Her lovely blue eyes sparkled like diamonds and she took in her looks, she was no longer a little girl she had grown up into a beauty that would turn heads wherever she went, and she looked a great deal like her mother but a good deal like her father having inherited his hair and eyes. "Well look at yourself Logue, you are certainly not a kid anymore; I look amazing now I wonder what Tatsumi will think, Logue crossed one arm under her breasts, ample e-cups like her mother's, and used the other to lean her head on before picking up her toothbrush and brushing away. After finishing her daily hygiene Logue dressed in attire similar to that her mother wore but different in color a pink short sleeved blouse and a black skirt along with black pants and fine shoes were her choice of dress after dressing she went downstairs where she found a full breakfast lovingly prepared by her mother set out on the table and her father Bols setting at the table. Logue smiled at her father who smiled back at her. "Good morning Daddy!" Logue greeted.

"Good morning my birthday girl, happy birthday Logue" Bols greeted, he was nearing his forties and while his blonde hair had yet to go grey he has a feeling in a couple more years it would, most people would have before the incident regarded him as handsome, his face however had been scarred during his time in the Capital Incineration Squad and now a grizzly scar covered his face though he retained both eyes and nose the burn scar had impacted him in the sight of other people to a point that it used to be when he went out in public he wore a mask to avoid frightening children. Nowadays however his family had convinced him to stop wearing the mask and with the War that Mattered been over for a decade and the fact that there were plenty of scarred veterans Bols didn't draw any fear from children but respect as he was one of the heroes of Eden. Logue sat down and heard the sound of loud running, that she recognized as her six younger siblings, her three brothers and three sisters, as the eldest child Logue took being an older sister very seriously and was happy when only a few months after the war her mother gave birth to her first sister Iliana and as such Logue took good care of her and then her other siblings acting like a second mother in a way and as such all her siblings loved her dearly and really couldn't contemplate doing anything mean to her and were always nice to her, it was after the seventh child a year earlier that her father had decided they had enough kids and Kije her mother had agreed to that as her last pregnancy had nearly done her in.

Speaking of Logue saw her come into the room first followed by her siblings. "Good morning Mommy!" Logue greeted.

"Good morning Logue; you're looking great this morning did you do all that yourself?" Kije asked, Kije was a woman with sandy blonde hair and was beautiful to look at even as she was 39, her attire was that of the average mother and she wore attire similar to Logue herself, but the blouse was white instead of pink.

"Yep, come and have breakfast, daddy made enough for everyone" Logue replied then everyone else sat down at the table. After about 20 minutes Logue had finished eating and about an hour later doorbell was rung, Logue answered it herself and found at the doorway an Imperial royal limo and to her utter joy Tatsumi himself or rather Golden Dragon Emperor Tatsumi Gildenstrom VII, the love of her life was standing on the front walkway.

"Tatsumi" Logue thought and smiled at him. When she was a child Tatsumi had done so much to protect her and help her family, back before he became Emperor he had worked alongside her father in the Imperial Jaeger Corp, during his time in that corp Tatsumi had foiled and stopped two dangerous predators from being able to go after her. She had been at least one case unknowingly stalked by a dangerous serial child rapist and child killer Nigel Champlain Farrier better known as Champ or the Butcher of Joyuu whom had gone on a rampage in Melitine, accord to Tatsumi after the matter the monster had been according to his diary waiting for an opportunity to make Logue and her mother his next victims, fortunately Tatsumi and his first wife Aria had set a cunning trap that lured the Butcher to his well-deserved doom where he was killed by Lubbock a former teacher from Joyuu turned soldier whom had lost his students to Champ who executed Champ by drawing and quartering him with Crosstail, an Imperial Arm that when used was composed of metal strings that had various applications. The second monster that Tatsumi had stopped was one she actually managed to get a look at and whom had nearly succeeded in abducting her and that was Enshin a notorious Pirate whom also was a sexual predator and a man who viewed woman as only good for sexual pleasure and nothing else, in that case he had nearly abducted her but her mother saved her life as the man hadn't expected her mother to be a former sharpshooter and special forces soldier in the Old Imperial Army who also was the top of her class when it came to marksmanship and thus he hadn't expected her to pull a loaded gun on him and as a result the coward ran off though not before her mother got a glancing shot on him that for the time being limited his capabilities. Tatsumi had shown up the following day asking questions and what little information she could give him had been enough for him to identify the culprit and soon after luring him into a trap where Enshin met a well-deserved end in a fiery blaze of flamethrower fire, Logue was proud that her daddy had been the one to end the monster's life.

After those incidents Logue had made a promise with Tatsumi that when she was old enough that she would marry him, this promise was made before he became Emperor and before he even knew he was the rightful Emperor, but the standing was not an issue with this arrangement both had agreed, and both wore promise rings to mark their engagement. Since then Tatsumi had matured more than Logue had, she smirked when she noted his handsome looks, Tatsumi was now 28 and while he hadn't changed much physically he had decided to grow a beard about a couple years ago this was due to recommendations from some members of his harem but truly was to honor his father whom had sported a rather similar beard, this beard was well groomed and not too long or too short with a thick mustache beneath his nose, Logue didn't have any complaints about it, if anything it was in her eyes a progression of how he had matured from being an overconfident country boy to becoming a powerful and noble Emperor who also was the most powerful person the planet and the savior of Eden twice over and bane of the Dreaded Arch-Demon Volgoth Ugor who was twice slain by Tatsumi. Since Tatsumi was an Emperor his attire reflected that, he wore a golden ceremonial breastplate over a golden long-sleeved puffy silk shirt, his pants were golden silk, and he wore plate boots that had gold decorating them he wore also a cloak made of Dragon Scales from the great three-headed Dragon Glauradrost whom Tatsumi had slain in his rise to power. However, the most distinct things Tatsumi wore were the bracelet he wore on his right arm that was made of gold and decorated with Emeralds and Peridots and the crown he wore on his head, this was the Bracelet of Kings a relic passed down the line of Emperors of the Old Empire down to Tatsumi who was both the last Emperor of the Old Empire and the First of the New Golden Dragon Empire which he had founded. In honor of that new Empire and the restoration of the Pact of Gold the Dwarves had from the remains and soul of Glauradrost and using the finest of all metals and gems forged Tatsumi a new Teigu Crown; Glaurang: the Dragon Crown. This crown shaped like the skull of a dragon and made of the strongest alloys and decorated with the finest Gold and gems was the mark of Tatsumi's power and his greatest Teigu, it allowed him to dawn the Armor of gold, kept him alive thru even the worst of injuries in addition to healing them, it also gave him power over Light and Fire and in its ultimate form with the Trump Card could both slow time around him and increased the power of the armor and his own strength tenfold, with it and his Teigu sword of light Michael and his stalwart Teigu shield Enoch that had been forged by the Dwarves and reinforced by Erasiel Darkar's own smith craft Tatsumi had battled the mightiest of demons and toppled tyrants slaying both along with warlords, monsters, danger beasts and all manner of enemies and most importantly saved the world of Eden twice, first directly and on Eden itself and the second from a resurgent demon threat on Eden's moon Eostia yet above all else he hated killing and even when it was necessary he hated doing it, killing was never something Tatsumi enjoyed and it showed that he very rarely delt it out as a punishment he had also had to his joy stopped the killing after the war was over and while he had killed since not a drop of that blood was Imperial in origin.

This was the man Logue had pledged herself to, he was charming, smart, handsome, brave, loyal and formidable, the only cavoite was that she would be sharing him as part of his harem which she didn't mind for a minute, such things were normal in the Empire and all she wanted was to be with him and didn't care about sharing him after all he had earned the love and affection of everyone in his harem and given his title she was lucky to even have been allowed to marry him at all, usually if you weren't of high enough status a woman of her rank could become at most his concubine, however there were a number of exceptions to this rule and it wasn't an official Imperial Law either, most of the exceptions came in the form of merit, those whom married Tatsumi before he became Emperor and thus had avoided the scorn of the nobility, not that their opinion mattered with Tatsumi's life and most of the nobility that had a low view of him had been wiped out in the War that Mattered though in most cases not by Tatsumi himself and those that did die by his hand were criminals while those that weren't killed in the war had acquired respect for him after the war by the fact he had managed to save their hides along with the planet twice and the fact he was the rightful Emperor and his word was revered as law. Logue herself was glad that soon she would be his empress.

"Tatsumi-kun!" Logue shouted and ran up to Tatsumi she noted his bodyguards and none of those woman who acted as his elite protectors in addition to being his wives that traveled with him at all times tried to stop her from giving him a hug and an affectionate kiss on the lips, at this point they were used to it and Tatsumi had visited often in the years since the war, in fact Tatsumi had often visited the people he know from back during that time during his time off and with his children. Since the war Logue and her family had moved into a large estate which was in the upper ring of Melitine, their old house was still owned by them and when they needed a place to stay when they felt like visiting friends in that part of the city; the reason for the move was twofold, first being that Logue wanted to live closer to Tatsumi and the second was that their old house wasn't large enough to support the family of nine and rather six at the time when Bols had decided on the move; the place was a reward for her father's service in a war courtesy of Tatsumi and they lived there without having to pay any rent or any payments at all, her father had also received a sizeable amount of money tax-free as reward for his service too, this money had come from Tatsumi's personal accounts and not from the Imperial budget though a veterans reward fund had been created post war for those whom had fought in said conflict and had taken wounds in action it also paid compensation to those families whom had lost loved ones in the war.

"Logue!" Tatsumi replied and hugged her back, the hug lasted for about a minute.

"I'm so happy to see you and glad today is our big day, is everything ready for it?" Logue asked.

"Yes indeed, I've made sure everything is in place for both your birthday party and our wedding, I've even gone as to have the royal chefs make 100 cakes for each that way we have enough for the guests, I've also taken the luxury of arranging a massive feast, having every guest on the list bring presents for both your birthday and our wedding and on top of it I invited people from not just all over Eden but all over the Galaxy, everyone whom I wanted to invite has been invited along with everyone that my harem wanted invited, trust me I had all the stops pulled out, and I've paid for everything out of my own pocket so the nation will not be impacted at all" Tatsumi explained.

"That's wonderful to hear, how much is this going to cost?" Logue replied.

"Not going to even put a dent in the Royal Fortune or Aria's or Spear's or anything, especially given the money that's been flowing into the treasury since Eden joined the Republic; that reminds me where do you want to go on our honeymoon, we can go pretty much anywhere on Eden or anywhere in the Galaxy baring avoiding any diplomatic crisis zones there are a few places I'd like not visit to avoid us getting into another war" Tatsumi replied.

"Oh that's a tough one I think we should go on a grand galactic tour, I'd like to see the Core worlds and a few other spots I heard about the resorts on Scarrif and on Naboo and I'd love to see the Fire Rings of Fornax and the Moons of Iego, and the verdant plains of the Byss colony and the cities on Corellia and Denon, there so many options not to mention the things here on Eden, let's go on a tour I'm sure you can put Mine or Spear in charge for a month and two" Logue replied; Tatsumi smiled.

"For you Logue I'll gladly do that, the two of us and my Imperial entourage checking out the galaxy I'll even have the Pride of Eden and a fleet of our best ships ready for it so we can travel the galaxy without trouble" Tatsumi replied, the Pride of Eden was a Praetor Battlecruiser that the Golden Dragon Empire had purchased from Kuat Drive Yards, the ship along with practically every other ship the Golden Dragon Empire had purchased for their navy had been extremely modified as per the terms of the Eden's entry into the Republic, as part of those terms Eden was allowed thanks to a good deal of diplomacy and monetary incentives to ignore the Ruusan Reforms and were allowed to build up their military and modify ships they purchased, the only limit Tatsumi hadn't been able to get past was the limit on size of defense fleets however he was able to circumvent this by three clever tricks two legal and one- less so but necessary in his view for the safety of Eden and the colonies that had been established by his people after becoming a galactic power.

The First trick was that each star system the Golden Dragon Empire controlled was allowed a defense fleet in addition to that the Empire also could have three reactionary fleets as the Deep Core where Eden was in the galaxy was a dangerous region as it was mostly uncharted due to the number of stars in the region throwing off galactic navigation this made the region a haven for anyone that either wanted to avoid attention and a region of unknown civilizations any of which could either suspicious of outsiders or downright hostile, to say nothing of pirates and smugglers, in addition to that there was the protection of Eden's shipping fleets at large while Eden was part of the Trade Federation as part of contracts they had not allowed the TF to be the sole protector of their trading ships and as such had mobile fleets to escort the merchant convoys that brought Eden even more wealth then it already had, the escort fleets were expensive but the Golden Dragon Empire's coffers were far from being exhausted anytime soon and the trading expeditions and the taxes from more than made up the cost, this allowed Eden to have more ships then the reforms would have normally allowed a sore issue for some in the galactic senate but that was very vocal minority as the Republic which had been at peace for a 1000 years was now becoming more militaristic as a result of various flashpoint conflicts popping up in the past decades and even more rather recently with the Separatist Crisis that was now ongoing and had started with the Raxus Address by former Jedi Master Count Dooku whom had been invited to the wedding along with other Separatist leaders much to some complaints in the Senate but war had yet to break out and as far as Tatsumi was concerned in peace time anyone could come and it was a diplomatic courtesy and he had been surprised when the Count of Serenno had accepted the invitation Tatsumi generally wanted to avert the war but if that was not possible he would make sure the galaxy at large was ready for it and that he could prevent as many deaths as possible.

The Second trick was that Tatsumi's cousin Makoto had managed to form a pro-militarization faction in the Senate after a number of events had started to cause secessionist movements to form in the wider galaxy this also caused factions to develop among the parties in the Republic Senate such Senator, Prince and Tatsumi's cousin Makoto's Dragon Party of 700 along with other likeminded senators in the Militarist faction managed to use their clot to pass new laws that weakened the reforms also going so far as to convince star systems that had neglected their defense forces to rearm the first of these worlds to do so had done so a month after Eden had joined the Republic and was the planet on Naboo which lead to a skirmish between Naboo's security forces and the Trade Federation this combined with events of the Naboo crisis some years prior had proven one thing that the planetary security forces were both lacking and needed new hardware, despite her nominal anti-war stance Senate Amidala of had had agreed with Makoto's views on the matter of militarization and defense after the brief skirmish with Trade Federation on Naboo courtesy of Captain Gavin Sykes of the Naboo royal navy and had lobbied successfully to expand Naboo's military a move supported by Naboo native and Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine much to Tatsumi's satisfaction as that move was needed by Tatsumi to give the Second trick more weight as is meant that Eden's military buildup could be justified on the grounds that star systems as a whole were rearming Naboo wasn't the only one to do so as Corellia and Onderon were also rearming along with a large number of worlds in the mid rim like Yag'Dhul, and the outer rim including Rodia and Pantora, he also made sure to give out loans at generous rates to these remilitarized systems loans that were easy to pay back thru trade with Eden.

The third trick was one of questionable legality, Tatsumi basically used a hidden fleet and military installation in the Tsoss Nebula known as Tsoss Beacon, this secret facility was known only to the Golden Dragon Empire's top leadership and was nominally a black site, as such it was a secret Tatsumi kept extremely well-guarded, Republic inspectors however would try to find ways in which Tatsumi was ignoring the treaties that he had agreed to, but said inspectors were either dissuaded with a financial incentive (A bribe) or vanished never to be seen again courtesy of Night Raid, the Empire's secret special operations branch of their government answerable only to Tatsumi himself.

With all these measures Tatsumi was assured that he could make sure that he and Logue could have an amazing honeymoon tour of the Galaxy, Logue was giddy at that arrangement. "Oh, thank you, thank you Tatsumi-kun, you'll be the best husband ever!" Logue exclaimed, the two smiled at each other than kissed on the lips, Tatsumi noted how much she had grown up from when he first met her, in fact it was a marvel in his opinion that she managed to reach adulthood given the state of Eden before the rise of the Golden Dragon Empire. With all that said Logue had blossomed into a beautiful young woman and he was happy to see her in this state after all it was because of his actions she'd been able to grow up in a peaceful world. Logue went back inside to tell her family about him being there and soon they came outside ready to go, Tatsumi then directed them to a private limo-speeder that he'd prepared for them and they left to go to the Palace which was enjoying a flow in and arrival of guests.

For Logue seeing the great numbers of people that had come from all over the galaxy for attending a wedding was an amazing thing for her it was all amazing to see the variety of people that had been invited, all manner of different people from all manner of races some looking close to being human and some not even close came thru a central door; Logue however would be entering via special entrance reserved for Tatsumi himself and after arriving they were escorted by attendants to their accommodations in the palace where Logue had the various things needed for her wedding laid out in addition to bridesmaids whom would soon be her sisters-in-law there to make sure she looked her best however for the moment she would be dressing in attire made for her Birthday party and like the wedding attire would be tailored to her.

Tatsumi left Logue to get ready and went the grand hall where the wedding would be held he noted Erasiel Darkar his chief advisor and Prime Minister in the wake of the retirement of Spear's father Ikamaru Chouri six years ago during the conquest of Wakoku, dressed in attire that was to be expected of a Phoenix and also king of a few kingdoms on Eden's moon Eostia the Phoenix hadn't aged a day since Tatsumi had met him, at Erasiel's side were two of his wives Queen Angelica of Roadshield and Queen Shamshiel, the former was an Elf and the latter a Succubus whom had been a Phoenix in centuries passed but had been turned into what she was as a consequence of her siding against Asha in the Third Phoenix war she also happened to have been and still was Erasiel's broodmate so their relationship went back longer then Tatsumi had been alive, about 2 billion years a number Tatsumi didn't even consider trying to comprehend and a number he refused to have anything to do with. "So, are you looking forward to your wedding?" Erasiel asked, the Phoenix was a natural blonde but tended to keep his hair using his shapeshifting abilities brown with a black streak running thru the middle though from time to time he would sport the blonde locks, Erasiel would be Tatsumi's best man for the ceremony.

"I've been looking forward to it for nine years Erasiel, I'm just glad that I'll be able to keep that promise I made years ago" Tatsumi replied, Erasiel grinned.

"That I'm glad you are well you are certainly dressed for the occasion, so have you decided on where you are going on your honeymoon?" Erasiel replied, Tatsumi grinned.

"Oh, we have, we're going on a Galactic tour, you think you can handle things while I'm gone for a couple of months?" Tatsumi replied.

"Please Tatsumi, governing nation states is something I'm capable of doing and am overly qualified, I'm the Eternity King and thus have ruling duties for an ancient nation that has been around for longer than I've been alive to say nothing of the other kingdoms and empires that I created, trust me I can handle running the Empire in your absence especially with the help of your amazing cabinet" Erasiel replied.

"I'm looking forward to him being in charge for a bit, though expect us to be running things from Eostia its home to all five of his kingdoms that he's in charge of you know" Shamshiel commented then leaned on Erasiel making cooing sounds.

"Well, that's good, I'm going to speak with the guests while I await the ceremony's start, I made sure that the seating was pretty good with some special arrangements" Tatsumi explained, then smirked Erasiel laughed.

"Are you referring to the fact you decided to seat the attending Sith Lord next to Ieyasu?" Erasiel asked, both grinned.

"Oh, I'm afraid that he will be in for an interesting experience I do believe I'd be worried for his sanity" Tatsumi replied with a grin.

"Whose Ieyasu's or the Sith Lord's?" Erasiel replied both of them then laughed knowing the answer.

"The Sith Lord's sanity of course; you know I wish that getting rid of him was as easy as a Night Raid hit" Tatsumi replied.

"If only, but its best to play the long game with people with as much power as he has; if he only knew that his aura can't be hidden by the force" Erasiel replied, both laughed their butts off again. Soon the guests began arriving and Tatsumi stepped up to begin greeting them, this process took about an hour and half as there were a lot of people, the first person thru the door was his best friend Ieyasu whom he greeted with a hug and a fist bump along with some small talk about how things had been since they last saw each other which had been yesterday as Ieyasu served the position as Chief Protector which was basically the position meant that Ieyasu was in charge of Tatsumi's security detail along with those of the rest of the royal family, an important job but for his best friend and a man whom always had his back Tatsumi was confident in for the role, also Ieyasu was actually rather good at the job as it entailed selecting the people in charge of the various security details choosing people that were both experienced in the role but also willing to take a bullet for the people they were protecting, the Cornelius Duty as it was called amongst the guard after the man who sacrificed his life to save the future Empress and Tatsumi's first wife Aria Grundel the responsibility to sacrifice your life to save the life of the person your duty it was to protect, Ieyasu would do the same for Tatsumi if that need ever came.

After greeting Ieyasu Tatsumi greeted other former members of Night Raid along with his wives whom came in after, each kissing him after arriving, following them came the VIPs from all over the Empire itself followed by the ones from the galaxy Tatsumi made sure everyone sat in their assigned seats and grinned at the arrangements; he was also playing matchmaker as he decided to seat Padawan Anakin Skywalker in between Senator Amidala of Naboo and Senator Riyo Chuchi of Pantora in addition to others including his two cousins Lin and Koko whom had eyes for the young jedi, the whole row he sat in was full of woman. Behind him Tatsumi also made sure to place Lubbock and Yami along with a number of other former Night Raid members. In the front row Tatsumi had assigned seats to the most important of the VIPs, the leaders of Eden's many important nations along with those of its moons, in addition to the leaders of Eden's two sister worlds of Casseomia and Pheronos and their moons which also were in the system and were on good terms with and were part of the Empire along with Eden's largest colonies of Byss, Drakkus, Had Abaddon, and Camelina, along with the other colony leaders, also in this row sat the galaxies most important leaders including the Supreme Chancellor whom if he was annoyed at having to sit next to Ieyasu didn't show it.

Having Ieyasu sit next to him was a genius ploy on Tatsumi's part because it meant that the person he trusted most was next to the person he didn't trust remotely and it also meant his chief of security was next to the biggest security risk in the room. Tatsumi also went out of his way to have the entirety of the Jedi Council in said row with Grandmaster Yoda sitting two seats down from Palpatine, and near Ieyasu on the opposite side sat Air, Fal and Luna near their adoptive mother and Ieyasu's wife Angela along with Tatsumi's cousin and their husband Makoto, in short the most dangerous person in the room was in striking distance of people that would be capable of killing him at a moment's notice should he get any ideas involving homicide including say killing Tatsumi himself granted Tatsumi knew that he'd be able to kick his ass in a fight as compared to Volgoth any human no matter how powerful would be not even close to comparing to him in skill. When all the guests were seated Tatsumi stepped up and began speaking.

"Welcome my guests to my wedding; it is a great honor to have you all here and a great honor for you all to be here on a momentous and important day in my life, today I'll be keeping a promise I made nine years ago to a little girl who has grown into a beautiful woman and today will be a happy and great day both for me and for her; you all need not worry about anything; security here is at the best possible this is easily the safest place in the Galaxy, also I've taken the liberty of doing everything to make this celebration as wonderful as possible, today is also my bride's birthday and thus we will be celebrating that first; all gifts everyone brought have been inspected and sepperated into two separate groups one for the birthday and one for the wedding; it is rather important that everyone here treat the bride with utmost respect and each other with the same respect this is why I've arranged the seating in the way it has been established. Also I want everyone to make sure that you meet her and also I want everyone to be friendly and courteous towards the each other here everyone is to be a friend to even their worst enemy, all divisions are to be put aside, failure to do so will result in detention and being thrown in jail for a week I'm not going to tolerate any ill will today so if any of you have longstanding problems with each other those can wait outside until tomorrow, I don't want any hostility towards anyone and especially not towards me or any of my subjects: this is a special day and a day of peace and we can all agree we all need at least one day of doing so. With all that out of the way I hope you all enjoy the occasion and remember be kind to everyone even your worst enemy here failure to do so will result in my displeasure and a week in jail for disorderly conduct and disruption of the peace I'll be having my Four Rakshasas enforce this policy and trust me Kurome will be more then eager to throw someone out of the building and into a cell for the rest of a week and no rank will prevent that doesn't matter if you are minor noble or the Supreme Chancellor, also there is a five drink minimum for any alcohol and smoking is not allowed I'm looking at you Ziro the Hutt, other than that there will be no fighting allowed apart from the gladiatorial fights we'll all be attending post the birthday ceremony and also fair warning don't offend any Dwarves they hold grudges deeply also Halflings first at the serving tables; there will be more than enough food for everyone, the maids of honor for this celebration with by my wives Empress Celestine Lucullus, Empress and Queen of Eden's Dark Elves Origa Discordia, Empress Rinzu of Soukai, Empress Esdeath Patras, Empress Spear Chouri and Empress Aria Grundel and Empress Leone Castnir with Prime Minister Erasiel Darkar as master of ceremonies, they'll be in charge of things along with me so if they give an order you follow it now let the celebration begin after a word from my wife Celestine whom has created a special program for this occasion which also will be part of the rules" Tatsumi spoke, then turned things over to Celestine.

The High Elven Empress and current incarnation of the Goddess Kavidii stepped up, dressed in a radiant white gown and crown of gold the platinum blonde blue-eyed elven beauty with her golden blonde locks tied in ponytail took a deep breath before speaking. "I'm glad welcome you all here, for the purposes of getting to know each other everyone has been assigned a party buddy that they are to stick with for the events we gave each of you papers for whom that was, this is to encourage cooperation and to follow the rules of the party, my husband and I spent several hours going thru and making sure all of you have someone that you will get to know during the duration of the event, my husband and I are strong advocates for peace and thus friendship is crucial to maintaining peace so the more you know about the person you've assigned to the more likely we are to keep peace; we are aware of current events in the Galaxy have led to tensions and conflicts and thus we arranged this rule to try an alleviate tensions, if just one life can be saved by preventing conflicts that would cost the lives of many by doing this then the galaxy will be a better place: also to those in attendance mind your manners and be courteous to others, also to those who represent corporations refrain from trying to negotiate contracts here except during intermission social periods, this is a birthday party and wedding we didn't invite you to sell people something, of course you can feel free to do such things after the party is over but until then keep your subject matters to normal things and not business follow that rule and I won't have to have the Four Rakshasas escort you out of the palace and into a prison cell" Celestine explained, this did result in some groans form the corporate types but these were ignored. "Also, I hope you all enjoy the amenities we have provided for the occasion and to those who think I may not be abiding by my own rules I have my envelope here and- "Celestine continued then paused to open it. "Well, it looks I've been assigned Origa Discordia as my party buddy; what are the odds" Celestine replied then laughed the kind of laugh that only an elf could granted there were plenty of raised eyebrows as many suspected and were quite correct that Celestine had rigged the drawing in a way they weren't expecting, it became more apparent when people actually did receive their cards on whom their party buddies would be that Tatsumi and Celestine had taken the liberty of making sure that some of the guests had to deal with people that were their polar opposites but in a few cases people they were playing matchmaker with.

After this the guests were allowed to move about, Logue arrived in her birthday party dress as her bridal gown would be worn during the wedding ceremony and she made a beeline for the Birthday presents. Opening presents took about an hour and a half as there were a lot of presents and photographs were taken with each one opened; Logue hadn't gotten this many presents ever and was overjoyed to open them all especially and surprised by what she got as all manner of gifts were in the boxes. As Logue finished opening one present after a photo shoot with it the gift would be taken to the large palace quarters that Tatsumi had constructed for her to live in, Logue was impressed by the variety of gifts as they weren't just from all over Eden but all over the known galaxy; Logue grinned when she noted two woman one human the other a Nemoidian smiling as she opened their gifts, one of which was a personal battle droid of the newer B2-Model from the Techno Union Vice Forewoman, a lavender haired woman named Mitsuko Isurugi from the world of Kuat, the other present from the Nemoidian Murre Zurvon was fine Nemoidian statuette of Tatsumi which was to be expected from a high ranking member of the Trade Federation's board of directors, these were just two examples of the many things given to her though the greatest gift came from her father his own Teigu Rubinceite and after going thru the pile she was hungry and looked at the other pile of gifts.

Tatsumi offered her his hand and led her to the party table were a large cake sat in the middle of other cakes the large cake was chocolate in taste and covered with light-blue, pink, and white frosting, on top amid sixteen candles was an image of a Golden Dragon and the symbol of the Jaeger Corp the latter paying tribute to her father who stood ready with a lighter. "Cake time! Everyone take a seat and gather round!" Logue shouted and the guests reacted accordingly getting to the tables, Logue happened to be sitting in between her fiancé and her father, across from them a man with white beard and white hair in his late 60s sat in brown clothing with a brown cape, then Celestine stood up.

"Alright everyone the candles will be lit, I've made sure to have next to your plates a paper with the lyrics for the song you are all going to sing as soon as I give the signal; will the Birthday Girl stand up so that everyone can see her" Celestine explained, Logue stood up, Bols began lighting the candles, Logue then waved to all in attendance.

"I'm so happy this is the best day of my life and I'm glad to have everyone here to witness it!" Logue exclaimed, then the candles were lit, and Celestine gave the signal, the hum of the song.

"Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear Logue, Happy Birthday to you!" Everyone sung.

"Make a wish!" Tatsumi shouted, and Logue grinned and blew out the candles with a single sweep, applause went up.

"Let me cut the first slice" Logue requested, then picked up the serving knife and cut from the cake a slice before darting over to the Ice-Cream table and plating up some rocky road then returning to Tatsumi's side, everyone followed suit and soon had their choice of desert; Logue used one hand for eating and had the other held Tatsumi's own.

"My congratulations on your reaching of adulthood madam Logue" the man across from her said.

"Thanks, this is a great day, the best day of my life, my sweet sixteenth and my wedding day all wrapped in one and everyone to see it; but we haven't been introduced you are?" Logue replied.

"Count Dooku of Serenno, and I trust you are enjoying the festivities?" The Count replied.

"Yes I am, it's a wonderful day and the best of it is yet to come everyone knows their sixteenth birthday is always the best" Logue replied.

"I trust you are aware of the responsibilities that come with your new station in society?" Dooku asked kindly, Logue frowned not sure what he meant.

"I'm not exactly sure what you mean, yes I'll be marrying the Emperor, my promised one Tatsumi, but not every Empress has a role to play in running the Empire, some just get to sit around not that I intend to sit around I want to go on adventures and be hero like daddy and Tatsumi so I'm going to play that part" Logue replied, Bols smiled at his daughter.

"You're already a hero in my eyes, your sharp eyes brought down a monster Logue, besides you're an amazing big sister and the best daughter a father could ask for and I'm proud to see you become who you are today" Bols remarked.

"What exactly you mean by bringing down a monster I'm unfamiliar with your history Madam Logue" the Count asked legitimately interested in the specifics.

"It's an interesting story and well I really didn't have much to do with it, really during the whole thing at the time I felt helpless, then again I was only seven at the time; basically the gist of the story is that I was out with mommy and we were late bringing home groceries when this nasty man named Enshin tried to kidnap me, I didn't know this at the time until I was older that he was a pirate well land pirate as he'd been shore bounded for the rest of his life, he was a nasty man who looked nastier, Esdeath-san has his skull mounted on the wall in the Trophy room about a few rooms from here, anyway Enshin had been behind a series of kidnappings taking women and girls against their will for the purpose of turning them into his – sex slaves, very sick demented and monstrous, anyway I basically managed to get a look at a him earlier in the day and again when he tried to kidnap me; that along with some other things allowed Tatsumi to track him down and lure him into a trap; Daddy killed him with a flamethrower, in fact the same one he gave me as a present as a matter of fact" Logue replied the Count for once in his life has an expression of pure shock.

"I think that a flamethrower is a rather- questionable choice in a present unto itself I'm not aware of many people that would give one was a gift" Dooku replied.

"Please I'm more then old enough to use one and trained to use one, when I had to take my mandatory year of service I choose to serve in the incineration squad like daddy, it was fun burning the dens of nasty danger beasts; very fun" Logue replied then ate more cake.

"I find it rather interesting that such an event occurred in the first place; is there- veracity to this tale?" the Count asked, Tatsumi looked at him with a degree of annoyance.

"Very much: I lived thru it" Tatsumi replied.

"Same here; trust me there was never a moment that my daughter was in greater danger then when that monster grabbed her, that monster didn't expect though that I was a former sharpshooter in the Imperial Ranger Corps and a crack shot with a pistol, my only regret was that my shots didn't kill him I should have aimed for his head" Kije remarked.

"I wish my rounds had actually hit him, you and Doya actually hit that monster" Bols replied.

"Don't complain about your shots you're just as good a shot as I am Bols, besides, you fried that fiend to a crisp we both were there and saw it and that was after Cosmina tortured him with Siren Song" Kije remarked.

"Exactly how were you there when this Enshin died?" the Count asked.

"We were the bait for the trap along with a fair few other women and chest that was claimed to be filled with gold but was actually full of rocks and we weren't in any danger the idiot bought the whole thing hook, line and sinker, also Chelsea is way better with a sword then he was and Tatsumi would have mopped the floor with him" Logue replied.

"That isn't an understatement trust me I've fought demons in one-on-one fights both literal demons and people that behaved like them" Tatsumi commented. "Now Count I'd appreciate it if you have further questions that you direct them to me my bride to be can only tell you so much and when it comes to my history I know everything about it" Tatsumi replied, then the sound was heard of someone stomping, Tatsumi turned to notice Erasiel on a table.

"Oh, you can search far and wide you can drink your whole town dry! But you'll never find a Beer so brown! You'll never find a beer so brown as the one we drink in our hometown. You can keep your fancy ales! You can drink em by the flagon but the only brew for the brave and true- that true brew of the amber hue! Comes from our Green Dragon!" the Phoenix sung while dancing, Tatsumi shook his head.

"I told him not to sing on the tables well I'm not a killjoy" Tatsumi replied.

"Any particular reason your Prime Minister acts in such fashion, is he not of noble birth?" Dooku asked.

"Oh, he is of noble birth, a rather old noble family in fact, but he really couldn't care about how he presents himself he's rather odd in that way, sometimes he presents himself in a manner you'd expect of someone in his station other times he does his own thing, also me controlling him is moot he serves me due to an oath, besides, he always brings joy to any situation and he died for Eden's sake" Tatsumi replied, at this the count was completely baffled. "He's a Phoenix if you have any questions about it ask him, I'd advise you not to once you get him talking about any particular subject he'll not stop talking also he's not crazy, trust me if you had seen some of things the two of us had faced together you'd understand fully why he's still around he also swore to stay by my said till the day I die and given he'll outlive pretty much everyone in this room I don't doubt it" Tatsumi explained. "And before you ask how old he is, don't ask him, if you do odds are he'll say you wouldn't believe him if he told you and then if you push to ask he'll give you the exact age and then liable not to believe him" Tatsumi added as the count began to open about. "No, I'm not force sensitive I'm just good at anticipating people especially when it comes to questions regarding people that work for me" Tatsumi asked.

"I wasn't going ask if you were, I can tell you aren't now I'd like to ask you Logue what you thought of my gift" The Count replied, Logue grinned.

"I like it, Gree tech is so rare and to get anything they made is amazing, trust me I'll find plenty of things for my new servant droid to do, once I figure out how to get it to speak in Imperial style and not in Gree syntax patterns it's a rather huge pain to get them to do that granted I understand Gree syntax and before you ask I took a course in xenobiology and Galactic History courtesy of my tutor Empress Dorothea also the fact that you manage to find one in this day and age is a mystery, the enclave I heard stopped making droids some years ago because they viewed them as unworthy creations" Logue replied.

"Then I trust you'll be impressed by your wedding present" The Count replied.

"Trust me I think I will, then again I may not, depends my mood can be fickle on things except for Tatsumi" Logue replied then looked at what Tatsumi was looking at which in this case was the Supreme Chancellor doing his best to politely evade Ieyasu whom apparently was rambling about something or other, at least until Celestine intervened and stopped said man from further evasion which was followed by an irate rant from Celestine about the importance of the occasion and that sticking with your party buddy was a requirement if one wanted to attend the occasion and that she'd hate to make galactic news by having the Four Rakshasas throw the Supreme Chancellor of the Republic out unceremoniously for violating party rules she did so with an expression that made even the secret sith lord consider his life choices also he was in noticeable pain due to Celestine's aura and radiance of light. The count noted this and looked at Tatsumi.

"I didn't expect your wife to be so serious about the rules" Dooku replied.

"Trust me that's intentional, besides this is a momentous occasion and I can't have people ruining it by being wet blankets or flat-out jerks, also on Eden no one is above the law, besides, I personally don't care about offending the Chancellor I don't trust him" Tatsumi replied.

"And why is it then that you still support the Republic?" Dooku replied.

"Because it's a system that can be fixed, it's not irreparable, besides I've seen his type before, the ambitious politician that acts all smiles in public but behind all the smiles there are skeletons in his closet I just don't know what they are; also the last person I met whom went by the title of Chancellor aspired to not only dismantle the Empire and sow anarchy but murder me and my cousins whom had done nothing wrong save that we were of the royal family and posed a threat to his power, I mean Makoto and I have our baggage but Lin and Koko, the two were nine years old at the time and they wouldn't have hurt a fly yet that traitor wanted to murder them with a vile device one of a kind that I destroyed; I don't trust Palpatine as far as I could throw him and in all honesty I could throw him pretty far; but at the same time I'm suspicious of any politician especially one that I've had no say in selecting, democracies are flawed in that a majority can run everything without the minority having a say beyond token objections, its why I don't have such a system in my Empire, I've opted for a different system that is- more effective. Also, I'll add that if Palpatine breaks the rules I've no problem putting him in the Palace Dungeons for a few days to think about what he did, but that's only if he continues to ignore the rules oh and I'll let Celestine throw him in there personally if you think I don't trust him she views him with utter contempt" Tatsumi explained.

"I see, you are a fascinating individual Emperor Tatsumi Gildenstrom, it's rare to see such people in the galaxy in this day and age; why though is it that Celestine is so distrustful?" Dooku asked.

"My wife is an embodiment of pure good, an avatar of a goddess, evil beings feel pain being around her, also she's far older then you or I, she's over 800 years old, a century is a blink in the eyes of an elf, and she's seen enough human beings to know how we think, also she has been betrayed before by humans who were in the service of demons, the demon leader Volt aspired to make a society were men had free reign to do as they wish and where all women were toys for them to use for their own twisted sexual desires, trust me if you think you know what evil is reevaluate your perspective know that the worst that humanity or any sentient race can do is nothing before the evils demons can and will do, they are the embodiments of evil and chaos, I hope never to fight them again by comparison the worst of humanity are angels. Anyway, have you noticed the way Palpatine acts around her, I have and so has she, he is noticeably pained when she is around, and usually only really evil people feel that pain from her radiance" Tatsumi replied.

"And what do you suspect he's hiding that makes him evil?" Dooku asked sinisterly.

"It could be anything, either way it's in my vested interest to see him out of office or have his agendas checked in any way possible, I know what happens when you give a human being with his morals large amounts of power and I've no desire to see Eden enslaved or made a scorched husk, I'm a believer in the republic but it needs serious reforms and to be rid of corruption I'll use any means to my ability to do so and one cannot effect meaningful and lasting change to any system of government from outside it; I know that for a fact" Tatsumi replied then ate more cake. "My chefs outdid themselves but that's what happens when you have halflings to prepare meals, speaking of if you notice my wife Luu-Luu mind your manners, if offended she is liable to knock you over, don't let her size fool you, she wrestles danger beasts for sport and has killed cyclopes, giants and Minotaurs along with other large beasts with ease, size is deceptive and trust me she's been at it for longer than either of us has been alive. Luu-Luu aside I'm glad that the majority of people I invited to the occasion showed up, in these tense times it is needed to have at least one day in which there is no hostility" Tatsumi commented.

"Do you think your wife's program will allow there to be peace?" Dooku asked.

"Unfortunately, I doubt it will make much of an impact, but Celestine is very much a kind-hearted and optimistic woman even more optimistic than I am even with what she's been thru in her life she's still always seeking the best in everyone, I also love her dearly as much as she does me and for that alone I allow her to do things that may not make a difference but it's always the thought and trying that counts" Tatsumi replied, Celestine smiled at him from across the table and he looked at her and smiled back. "She's very special, and she's my wife, you'd find it hard to believe that without me she'd be enslaved to the whims of evil men and demons forced to serve their twisted desires, instead I saved her world and her from such a fate and we married, we've been married for four years now and next August it will be five, also from a practical point who wouldn't want to have her as a wife, she's beautiful, powerful, kind, long lived, and wise beyond any human years, also she is kickass fighter and she has a white dragon that she rides into battle; anyone would be hard pressed to find a wife like her, she is a goddess both literal and figuratively" Tatsumi replied.

About an hour later the time had come for a social session where the guests would chat with each other, it was also during this time that the final preparations for the wedding were made and Logue dawned her bridal gown, at the same time Tatsumi made sure to interact with each of his guests, but also keeping careful eyes on the more dangerous ones, Origa was his companion in this, the Dark Elven Empress and Queen of New Garan and of the Dark Elves of Eden was keen to keep an eye on things all the while carrying their youngest child their second son whom had been named Fingon and while their other five children followed them around along with Origa's sister Ruka whom was keeping an eye on anyone that may be a threat to her new home and her family she also held an infant her third child with Tatsumi Elros. The two Dark Elven sisters were very beautiful with deep dark brown skin, black hair, and golden eyes, they were dressed in purple gowns and wore crowns on their heads that were purple made of amethyst and adamantine and were intricately carved in the graceful elven style, Origa carried a staff in her right hand made of Ebony with a pink crystal in the center, their dresses were far more modest than traditional dark elf attire but even then their shoulders were bare and noticeable cleavage was present to flaunt their large breasts, Origa had H-Cups comparable to Celestine's while Ruka was more modestly endowed but still came in at the F-cup range, Origa was also taller than Ruka about 6'9 while Ruka was about the same height as Tatsumi, she also wore a black cape, the two basically turned many heads as their attire smacked of darkness but they were not evil.

During this he noted Ieyasu who got his attention, Tatsumi walked over to him and noticed that the Chancellor was next to him and trying his best to keep a straight face with the goofball who was Tatsumi's best friend and brother-in-law and stepfather-in-law. "Hey Tatsumi, come here I was just telling Palps about the time I fought three Skaven warlords at the same time; I'd like to show him my first warlord trophy after the festivities, I'd like your opinion on some things starting with a joke: what do you call a criminal that doesn't cheat, lie or steal?" Ieyasu greeted.

"I'm not sure you tell me" Tatsumi replied.

"Dead" Ieyasu commented and both broke out in laughter which was joined in by Origa and Ruka. "Hello Origa, Hello Ruka and hello kids how are you all doing?" Ieyasu greeted.

"Quite well now that you ask Ieyasu, though a good amount of my time has been spent with my sister and my children, speaking of sisters I must see to talking with Teressa and ask how things are going in Garan ever since my exile from Eostia" Origa replied.

"Exile?" the Chancellor asked.

"Yes that, well I'm exiled from Eostia and not allowed to visit anywhere outside the Capital of Ken under pain of death, its punishment for my greatest offense that being I started a 500 year war, now given that a demon masterminded the whole conflict just to weaken me and my then enemies to take over to form a Sex Empire I feel even more stupid about the whole war and the let me off light by comparison, considering however that I could have been executed for the conflict I'm glad to have the mercy, besides I've made a new kingdom and new life for myself on Eden and this way I get to be closer to my beloved Tatsumi. Other than managing my new kingdom I've been spending time as a mother children are such a handful, especially half-elves and even more so when I also care for the children of my sisters-in-law and my actual sisters too" Origa explained she then took notice of the little one in her arm she then let of her staff which floated and held the six-month old boy with both hands. "Who's a sweet little baby, you are, you are my sweet Fingon, who's going to grow up to be a prince you are; I love you" Origa baby talked, then gave the baby a flubber bursky to giggles. "Aren't children amazing? Origa asked smiling.

"I'm not sure I'm qualified to answer that question as I've never had any to my knowledge" Palpatine replied.

"So has Ieyasu gotten under your skin?" Ruka asked.

"Hey" Ieyasu commented, Ruka smirked.

"I'm afraid yes, at the risk of offending my host" Palpatine replied.

"That's the intention also it's a show my feelings toward you, Ieyasu is my best friend and putting up with him is a tricky thing to those unfamiliar with him. He's the one I trust most, and his job is to keep an eye on the people I don't trust" Tatsumi replied.

"No need to explain, but I'd ask if you could do something regarding your cousin and his faction in the senate" Palpatine replied.

"My cousin is his own man but what do you want?" Tatsumi asked.

"I'm fully aware that his faction is currently obstructing the Rikknat protection act; I would like you explain why this is the case and you are currently blocking a wildlife conservation act" Palpatine asked, Tatsumi smirked.

"I've my reasons but let me breakdown the list: first and foremost the planet that they are native to New Plympto has no Senator or a representative so that would be passing a law without their consent for starters as to how a system can be a member of the republic and have no representative is an insult to the very institution that is supposed to provide representation to the governed, secondly Rikknat eggs are the only major export the Nosaurians have that has any value, take that away from them and their economy will collapse, third point Rikknat Eggs are a valued delicacy here on Eden and in the colonies so I've no reason to approve a law that would be a smack in the face to my people and would be also detrimental to an entire planet's economy, fourth point I want Nosaurian representation in the Senate you cannot have a planet be a member of the Republic and not have a voice in it that defeat the purpose a government where everyone has a say. Fifth reason Dorothea has already devised a solution to the Rikknat problem and has developed a stable cloning tech to repopulate the lost Rikknats a product we will be giving to New Plympto's government free of charge we will also be introducing a domesticated sub-species to a number of worlds that are suitable for export and under taking numerous projects to improve the state of New Plympto's economy, sixth reason Makoto and I are against government regulations the old Empire was a mess with a disorganized and corrupt bureaucracy that had way too many regulations, taxes and had a large amount of nepotism, cronyism and corruption spread thru ought it, the system would have killed itself if Volgoth hadn't killed the old Empire first so as a whole I'm against unnecessary regulations, taxes, and any sort of corruption in fact on Eden the punishment for corruption is death by crucifixion a slow death as you may have heard" Tatsumi responded.

"A shame that you cannot be persuaded on this matter; I've noted the broader obstruction and have heard rumors that your cousin intends to challenge me for the seat of Chancellor in the next elections three years from now" Palpatine replied.

"He's within his rights to do so according to Republic law should he choose to do so and will back his campaign whole heartedly and you'll find the Banking Clan, Techno Union and Trade Federation will be willing to do the same due to our contracts: anyway I need to take this time to discuss other matters as Celestine said this is one of the only appointed times to discuss business and I've got plans to speak to the IG Banking Clan's chairmen to help negotiate a contract with Ho'ar'chal Engineering I've got plans for further expansion of my military" Tatsumi replied and then left followed by Logue leaving the Chancellor to endure further stories from Ieyasu whom Tatsumi was of the opinion that Palpatine was contemplating force-choaking. After some careful searching Tatsumi found the Banking Clan delegation, several Munns looked at him with interest as he approached, these towering humanoids were much taller than most with long broad heads that had no hair, but Eden's people were rather large in stature and so Tatsumi stood at eye level with these bankers; the Chairmen of the group San Hill looked at him with a business man's grin sensing to a degree that a bargain was to be had.

"Emperor Tatsumi what an honor to see you" Chairmen Hill greeted.

"Likewise Chairman Hill, I've heard the IG Banking clan is doing well of late: I'm looking to make a deal and would like some help in negotiating a contract" Tatsumi replied, the Munns grinned at the prospect of a deal the Banking Clan held the Empire in high esteem as the Empire was always up for negotiating all manners of deals that were lucrative for both parties, while the Empire didn't deal with the banking side of their business as it had its own banking system they did purchase all manner of Trade goods that were even more profitable as Eden bought in bulk.

"Ah a contract what can the Intergalactic Banking Clan do for you Emperor Tatsumi?" Chairmen Hill.

"I need some help negotiating a deal with Ho'ar'chal Engineering; I'm expanding my armies further and would like to place an order for 10,000 Hailfire Droids and about 6000 more of their Advanced Vulture Droid fighters" Tatsumi replied, the Munns all raised their eyebrows in surprise.

"10,000 Hailfire Droids? 6000 Advanced Vulture droids? That is a- sizeable amount; but I can see your reasoning for wanting to purchase them the Collections branch of the Banking Clan has reported their effectiveness and given your sizeable army such droids would be useful for your military" San Hill replied.

"Indeed, while our military has advanced significantly we are- lacking in fast moving tanks I've opted for projects to expand the number we have so but those are still in development and testing also there is the fact that it takes time to train crews for such vehicles and balance armor and shielding with speed so a way to alleviate these short-comings and the shortage of fast moving tanks is to find a stop-gap for the time being Hailfires are fast, pretty well armored so good against infantry and have a large number of anti-tank weapons and to top it off they are droids so that means we don't have to spend time training tank crews for them or deal with the tough business of informing families of dead personal this will be the first order we may purchase more; but given your organizations good relationship with Ho'ar'chal and our lack of dealings with them I'd appreciate the Banking Clans help in negotiations if you help I can promise that the Imperial Navy will want to make contracts for more Munificent Frigates to go along with the new fighters" Tatsumi explained, the Banking Clan leaders took some time to discuss matters and then smiled when they came to terms with the deal.

"We'll gladly help with negotiations though we'd like to know how many Munificents you would intend to purchase?" San Hill responded.

"I'd like to keep that number private I've got some ideas but I'd like to speak with the admiralty for how many they'd like then we'll come to numbers I'll also need to speak with the Techno Union to purchase more pilot droids: suffice to say expect that number to be- rather decently sized I'd like to discuss more but certain parties may be listening and- let's just say I'd like to keep certain military facts to myself but trust me the IG Banking Clan will be pretty well paid for your support and products also I'd like to let you know that I'm aware of some disputes over loans and repayment and Eden paying out loans; let's just say I have business interests but don't worry I'd like to keep relations between us friendly after all friendly relationships are best for business and the best for banking, no sense in giving out loans to those not able to pay them back it can hurt interest rates" Tatsumi replied.

"I see; well, we'll get in touch with Ho'ar'chal and inform them of your purchasing plans; there are some other matters I'd like to discuss but those can be done in more secure meetings if there are details you'd like to keep hidden best to keep them in private: the Banking Clan appreciates the Patronage of the Golden Dragon Empire and hopes for future beneficial deals" San Hill responded.

"By the way I'd like to note that I'd be interesting in opening an account with the IG Banking Clan for other purchases and- would like to look into more interesting matters namely bank stability as there are some in the Empire whom would love to set up auxiliary bank accounts; also, I'll be visiting Munnilinst as part of my Honeymoon tour so I'll check up on our deals during my trip: also if you want to discuss further get in touch with my Minister of Finance and my Wife Empress Leone she'll be handling the money in this exchange also with the Munificent deal I'd like to keep that under wraps considering the amount I am interested in" Tatsumi added, the Munns nodded and Tatsumi let them leave he then noticed a rather irritated group of Gossems coming his way, at the head of the group a woman that Tatsumi recognized as being the President of the Commerce Guild Shu Mai was in the midst of them; the Gossem leader chattered in her language to her translator whom was a fellow Gossem rather than a droid.

"Your Imperial Majesty; President Shu Mai of the Commerce Guild would like to discuss matters with you involving mining operations on your colony world Kysoth" the translator explained.

"Oh that; if it's about the conflict between Commerce Guild Enforcers and the local PDF along with the local Governor that's out of my control and no I will not reprimand or punish the forces involved, I'm aware full well of the Commerce Guild's desire to move in on our Mining Sectors and I've told the Mining guild the same thing I'm going to tell her that Eden's mining sector is off-limits to foreign companies, Imperial companies are first come first served also I don't appreciated Dwarf Spider Droids being used on my miners especially given that they weren't part of the guild and before you ask I'm not releasing the Commerce Guild officials we imprisoned for that incident: they broke Imperial law and they will now face the consequences in the Imperial Justice system" Tatsumi explained firmly. The Gossem replied to Shu Mai who chattered back angry in her language a series of demands and threats.

"While I'm not familiar with your language I know an attempt at blackmail and intimidation when I see one; refrain from doing so or I will request the Banking Clan look into your finances Madame President and believe me if you think your groups of union thugs are scary you've got nothing on the IG Banking Clan there is a reason I do my best to be on good terms with them also get this thru your thick skull I'm more scary then they are; as I'm well aware that you've hired Iaco Stark a wanted criminal who has the Death Sentence on numerous worlds for Piracy and murder and I'd have no problems exposing that fact to the public and trust me if he visits Eden he'll be arrested and deported to Eraidu I'm certain the Tarkin Family will be quite interested in getting their hands on him and trying him on Eraidu; you've heard about the Eraidu passion for hunting and know how they execute the death penalty, on Eraidu the punishment of death is a grand hunt for that person in question; its nature at work an interesting practice" Tatsumi explained, the Gossems ran off afraid, both Tatsumi and Logue laughed.

"That went over well" Logue commented and then both laughed again.

"Yep, I'll let you know some companies you can do business with Logue but others you should keep at arm's length and never associate with I can tell which ones to trust and which ones not to" Tatsumi replied, he then noticed Techno Union representatives and negotiated a deal for more pilot droids and more battle droids. The rest of the intermission was spent with Tatsumi speaking with a variety of people and some companies, even Kuat Drive Yards representatives to negotiate the purchase of five more Praetors and another Mandator Dreadnaught for the Byss Defense Fleet, as it stood Tatsumi also negotiated a number of other things managed to arm wrestle enough Senators to kill the bill Palpatine wanted to pass and speak with a number of leaders of various star systems that shared his concerns for a potential war of a like that hadn't been seen in the Galaxy since the New Sith Wars and the defeat of Lord Kaan's Brotherhood of Darkness in the Battle of Ruusan.

Soon after preparations were made for the wedding Logue was led off to dress in her wedding gown and Tatsumi made sure to get everything in place: Angulas one of Tatsumi's wives and his court Priestess would be officiating the Ceremony along with Syura Tatsumi's brother in law; Angulas would serve as a Priestess of Avawahy and Syura as a priest of the High Goddess Asha whom had since the War that Mattered become Eden's patron Goddess and deity overall even toppling Ulmo as the chief of Eden's pantheon; both were very eager for the ceremony. Tatsumi during this time mentally processed his guests and noted his disdain for the former Supreme Chancellor Finus Valorum whom while he had been a good Chancellor for most of his term had been ousted by a vote of No confidence also there was the fact he was part of the Valorum dynasty which had been the architects of the Ruusan Reforms Tatsumi's most hated Galactic Law. "Soon Makoto will get enough votes to strike those down; a standing army is needed for Galactic Security" Tatsumi thought he noted Celestine smiling at him he also noted his adopted sons and daughters from her, Celestine had adopted over her time as Queen of Ken and leader of the alliance many war orphans in order to give them a better life; these children had grown up into her loyal retainers, handmaids, and knights that loyalty carried over to Tatsumi. Tatsumi also noted his adopted daughters Kyoko and Mishi sitting in the front; Kyoko with her five children, one spawned by Teketh's vile actions and four loving children born from her marriage to Erasiel Darkar, Kyoko's decision to marry the Phoenix had come as a surprise to many even Tatsumi himself but he was not going to stop Kyoko going thru with it she'd been thru enough trauma in her life and he wanted to make sure that she had what she wanted, Mishi had been jealous and Tatsumi noted that in a year when she came of age she'd insist on tying the knot too.

Soon the organ began the wedding march as the grand doors opened to Logue in a radient gold and pink wedding gown decorated with golden and platinum thread and gems of the greatest Eden's mines could bare, her hair was styled in a lush ponytail and several buns with flowers and gems in her hair and vail, to her side the bridesmaids came walking her down the aisle up to the alter. Both his chaplins officiated and gave their words for the lasting union and when the time came to kiss Tatsumi and Logue did eagerly and everyone in the room no matter good or ill in their heart couldn't help but smile and have tears of joy in their eyes.

After this ceremony came the gifts and yet more food before everyone went off to the Grand Colosseum; there the greatest of gladiatorial tournaments and games in Eden's long Imperial history of the sport were undertaken, a number of Eden's worst criminals a rare and far between bunch in this day and age were executed fighting exotic beasts imported from across the galaxy, slain by gladiators or were stoned to death by the audience. After these came fights between Eden's finest fighters, these battles were normally not to the death not even in the Old Empire they were meant to entertain not to slaughter and while real weapons were used a variety of methods were in place to prevent deaths, it was even more interesting when combat droids had been imported a few months earlier and foreign gladiators from Rattatak and Geonosis came to test their mettle in Eden's arenas not to long after. Some thought the sport barbaric but would not voice those objections out of respect for their hosts and the fact they were a proud Imperial tradition tracing back even to before the Empire. Tatsumi's favorite Ludii which was the Gladiator term for schools also known as teams was Imperator Draconus school they were the oldest team and had the most respect also they fought for the glory and to entertain along with a quest to let the sport of the arena replace the sport of war which was Eden's favorite past time for centuries before the Unification wars saw an end to it and Tatsumi enjoyed giving his people an option to let their violent streaks out in the lawful manner without killing anyone that didn't deserve it, that wasn't to say death matches were illegal far from it, however it really depended on the arena in Melitine's Grand Coliseum they were fair game and there were a few planned for this day.

As it stood Tatsumi's team was winning due to a mixture of skill and their desire to impress their Emperor whom was also their biggest fan; Tatsumi soon entered the ring himself and while the combatants he faced wanted to go easy on him he wouldn't let them and didn't go easy on them it the fights resulted in a fair amount of beaten up gladiators and two local favorites bending their knees to the Emperor after he fought them fair and square and none of the opponents he beat died in battle for it was customary that death matches not be allowed when facing the Emperor as Tatsumi hated killing and nobody wanted to kill the Emperor in the arena. Tatsumi stepped out when time came for the events known as the Judgement of the Condemned in these events the worst of Eden's prisoners were brought out to face execution by ordeal in the arena, these prisoners were given minimal protection and when it came to weapons wooden clubs made of flimsy wood and left to fight Danger Beasts, Gladiators and whatever else the hosts may decide to throw into the arena and that was if they were lucky, from the groups sent in the worst criminal was chained to a cross to die an agonizing public death by a mixture of crucifixion and other factors sometimes gladiators would drive spears into their sides causing them to bleed out slowly other times they'd be chained and left to any number of exotic beasts either way this was true blood sport and anyone who had come from out of the system either winced or was shocked when actual death went on it was after this that criminals that had evoked the right of trial by combat would do battle with randomly chosen champions if they survived they would have to serve five more years as a Gladiator to repay their debt to society but they would be paid and allowed freedom and after that came the death matches which were planned out and ready however if a combatant wanted to show mercy they could do so. Due to Tatsumi's dictation of terms to entering the Republic, the Galactic Republic's legal system and representatives could NOT intervene in these as it was both sport and the Eden legal systems way of disposing of some of its criminals.

After the Gladiatorial games ended it was off to the Chariot races where the Purples and Whites were competing, as those were Melitine's main teams called so because of their charioteers tunics and the colors of their chariots, in the Circus Maximus for the gold; Tatsumi supported the Purples while Esdeath supported the whites and it was a sore spot between them though only when it came to the games and it was more of a team rivalry then a marital issue. By comparison to the gladiatorial events the races were tame though there was roughhousing by both teams, the practice of chariot races were again an ancient tradition carried on despite a Chariots archaic nature as it was a team sport as a team of three would ride the chariot trying to run laps and at the same time eliminate the other team from the competition, the driver would drive the chariot while the runners would move alongside trying to pull men from the chariot itself while lancers would use sticks to knock the other team out all the while doing laps around the track to see whom could finish the race first, it was a dangerous sport but an enjoyable one.

For Logue it was amazing to watch as the Purples were winning and Logue like Tatsumi was an avid Purples fan and supporter the efforts of the two teams to both navigate the course and to try and knock the opposing team out of the race; from either side of the arena jeers between teams of opposing sides went back and forth and the security forces were on standby in case of a riot as Melitine had a history of Chariot Riots where supporters of the losing team would try to beat supporters of the opposing team up either with blunt instruments or by physical violence which resulted in more fighting and a fair few people spending time in prison for disorderly conduct and rioting since Tatsumi had come to power riots never occurred when the Emperor was in attendance because everyone treated him with reverence even still however the security forces were ready for such a scenario even if it would be in bad taste. Tatsumi noted Celestine grin and Origa smirk as the runner for the Purples had overpowered the runner for the whites and jolted when Logue jumped for joy as said runner dragged both driver and lancer out of the chariot and into the mud as said chariot and horses crashed into a barricade, allowing the purple team to go to victory. "I always love a good ending" Origa remarked.

"That was masterfully executed, he just grabbed them by their tunics and heaved!" Logue exclaimed.

"Well, that's one way to put on a show" Tatsumi remarked then stood up and held up a gold staff that was reserved to signal a victory. Tatsumi then presented the medals for the race to the winning team before shaking hands with each of them for anyone in the arena it was amazing to be able to be within arm's reach of the Golden Dragon Emperor and another to shake hands. It wasn't something that was without extensive security, Tatsumi along with Logue and his other wives were protected by a gauntlet of bodyguards with 21 at his side at all times, those being his four Rakshasa Champions, his Three Sacred Blades and his Elite Fourteen all of whom were married to him and all of whom were Teigu users and armed to the teeth in the best Teigu armor the Dwarves could make and these were his uber-elites, in addition to these were his Imperial Knights a new branch of the Imperial Royal Guard that were trained in the force and used lightsabers, these troops were backed up the Dragon Guard the most elite of the Royal Guards regiments drawn from the most elite and veteran of the Empire's armies and all of whom had fought alongside their Emperor in the War that Mattered and every conflict that had followed, on average about 2000 elite professional bodyguards were with Tatsumi whenever he chose to leave the Royal palace complex and even then these were ones a person could see as Night Raid operatives along with clean clothes guards blended into the crowds monitoring the Emperor at all times and going thru the crowds with a fine toothed comb to make sure no one capable of endangering their Emperor's life could get within a 100 feet of him. All this security meant that ANYONE that wanted Tatsumi dead would have be exceptionally skilled, crazy, and dangerous to even get close to him and if an assassin were to get in reach of him Tatsumi would be more likely to kill the assassin then the assassin him as he was wearing the most protective suit of Armor on the face of Eden and always kept the strongest blade in the planet's history at his side.

Tatsumi smiled happily with Logue holding onto his arm; he then passed a written letter he had written earlier in the day down a chain of people until it arrived in the hands of the Supreme Chancellor and it read like this. "Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine, would you kindly find whichever politicians that are trying to have me killed and put a stop to it, and a warning to you if you are said politician, that being stop sending assassins, my Imperial Royal Guards have foiled about 27 plots in the past three days alone: kindly tell the one responsible to fuck off and stop or I will send one assassin after said person and they won't fail in that job, signed Emperor Tatsumi VII Gildenstrom of the Golden Dragon Empire. P.S I mean it" was what the letter said.

By this point in the day only the bedding and honeymoon as such two motorcades were deployed a fake one heading for the Imperial Palace while the real one headed to Tatsumi's Imperial Mansion which while part of the Palace complex was a sepperated building. The large and lavish mansion had been built after the end of the War that Mattered over the mansion of the deceased former Prime Minister Honest as the original building had been destroyed during the final battle as a culmination of a few things happening to it first by being stomped on by the Primus Imperator then debris from the destroyed Primus Imperator and then by Tatsumi himself being flung thru the structure by an Ascended Volgoth; in addition to it a number of city blocks had also been leveled in that battle and during Volgoth's short-lived New Empire of Yeenkar before that as such Tatsumi's wives had claimed that prime real estate and during reconstruction that had followed the war the most ostentatious but humble mansion was constructed, humble when compared to everything else in the area around it; this structure still had been built out of the best the Empire had access to and by the best craftsmen in the Empire along with those of the Dwarves; the entire thing had been constructed, furnished and made ready for residence before Tatsumi came out of his coma.

Tatsumi had initially been annoyed that they had gone over the top for it and had only made one change in place of a statue they had erected of him out of solid gold he had another statue this one made out platinum of him and all the heroes of Night Raid and Jaegers and near it memorials to the fallen; Tatsumi had also made a cemetery for the interment of all those who had died for his sake during that war: the centerpieces being a grand tomb to General Budo and two more for Sten and Ibara the two Rakshasa Demons whom had sacrificed their lives in an act of fool-hardy bravery with nearby graves for those of the Royal guard whom had laid down their lives holding off Volgoth for Tatsumi to escape; of the 70 guards on station in the palace throne room that day only seven had made it out alive two of them being Mez and Suzuka the last Rakshasa demons, the seven survivors would survive the war and maintain their duty to Tatsumi as their emperor. The cemetery was a reminder to Tatsumi and anyone that visited of the price of war and Tatsumi would spend his Saturday afternoons along with days of importance for him to pay his respect along with whenever he was hosting foreign emissaries, he even had plans after his honeymoon to have the leaders of both factions to look over the dead and show them the price of war.

For all the history though his new mansion was distinctly his own and he chose it as his residence because the palace held too many memories best left out of his nightly thoughts and because it would allow him to spend more time with his family and keep track of said family easier. That being said the mansion was at minimum the size of a palace of a king of a well off kingdom which was saying something. Tatsumi was escorted his auxiliary entrance to avoid the press that had gathered out front aware that they'd been tricked into following a fake motorcade, Tatsumi hated journalists not because he dislike a free press but because journalists in his experience wouldn't shut up and liked to interrupt his free time. After getting into his mansion he dismissed the bulk of his guards to assume stations within the manors grounds he then took his 21 woman harem guard with him to his private quarters were they were to stand watch in front of a door to a room that had been sound-proofed and enchanted to keep out prying ears and eyes; Tatsumi would be alone with Logue for the next two hours with a curt nod he looked at Mez. "Make sure that we aren't disturbed" Tatsumi ordered.

"Yes my beloved: I'll make sure of that: alright assume honor guard positions and don't let anyone disturb our beloved Emperor" Mez replied and the other twenty woman stood at attention; Tatsumi turned to Aria and Esdeath.

"Do me a favor and give those reporters the boot off our property they aren't going to get a single look at what goes on behind these doors" Tatsumi explained.

"Trust me I'll be more then willing to deal with them" Esdeath replied then grinned wickedly.

"I mean do so humanely" Tatsumi replied.

"You're no fun" Esdeath teased Aria grinned.

"Trust me we'll deal with it; for now you and Logue enjoy yourselves, I'll make sure that nobody bugs you until time is up" Aria remarked Tatsumi and Logue turned and entered the room Tatsumi locked the door and carried her bridal style placing her down on the bed and kissing her passionately.

"Tatsumi-kun; I'm ready for you; please be gentle with me" Logue replied.

"Don't worry I'll do that" Tatsumi replied then kissed her again he then took his time removing her dress making sure to fold up nicely for the sake of memories she in turn helped him with his garb and they were soon both as naked as they day they were born; Tatsumi took a good look at Logue's body and gasped at her beauty, she gasped looking at him but for a different reason; that being his scars; especially one near his shoulder blades.

"You took all those scars for me?" Logue asked.

"For you and everyone else on Eden; a few more for people on Eostia you can blame me barreling into take a blow meant for Celestine for the one on my right thigh" Tatsumi replied, she kissed him a gentle kiss. "Let me tend to you; relax Logue this is all for you" Tatsumi romantically said to her she kissed him.

"For us" she replied, Tatsumi kissed down her body before spreading her legs to reveal a special spot kept safe from being sullied by his actions her vagina was clean of any hairs and Logue blushed; Tatsumi placed his head and cooed before sticking out his tongue and licking, the experienced tongue probed her folds and found her spots rather quickly along with her barrier; Tatsumi's hands held hers and Logue began to moan; a cute sweet moan that was unlike any Tatsumi had heard outside that made by Rinzu or by Aria.
