Soil Binds Breath and Bone
By SMYGO4EVA

Under the light of the full moon, blood spreads like an oak upon the forest grounds. An interloper cut down, and another Master and Servant defeated.

Mana wiped the crimson gore off her hands, and Lancer swung his spear to the side. Remnants of their kill spilled from the sharpened blade like rubies before being spirited away. Their opponents were not innocent; they wished for the Holy Grail to shed more blood and all hope to be lost.

They had to be cut down, and the world was a much better place for it.

Having taken a life was both terrifying, a weight on their souls never to be tethered, yet it was exhilarating. Mana couldn't help her heart pounding in her chest. Lancer felt a familiar twist of heat growing in the pit of his stomach.

It was just the two of them under the dark of night, with the moon a torch in the sky. Mana took a few steps closer to Lancer, and she pressed her hand on his chest. She was calm, though her form shook. He looked upon her softly, cupping her face. His fingers stroked over her jaw, and his other hand took her hand from his chest.

Mana led her Servant to the towering tree, the huge branches of leaves shielding them from the moonlight. She leaned in and kissed him full on the lips, with Lancer returning such a bold gesture in kind. He pressed her against the front of the tree gently, and she held onto his biceps with all her might, as they began the ritual to restore Lancer's strength, and to solidify their growing affection for one another.

The wind rustling through the trees and the babbling brooks were the only noises beside the Master and her Servant becoming one.

Mana almost wished that she could stay in this very moment for all time. Cloaked by the dark forest with Lancer, his lips on hers, she wouldn't trade the ragged breathing, her legs tightening round her partner, with his cock emptying inside her, and her high-pitched moan for anything. They were far from the streets of Fuyuki, from the gilded lights and unaware civilians living their lives within.

After taking several minutes to recollect, Mana and Lancer separated and they walked side by side out of the pitch-black forest, leaving no trace of what occurred on such a night.

They had this moment, and it was theirs to keep.
