Once upon a time in the United States of Auradon lived a beloved king. He changed the kingdom forever. What once had been divided between good and bad was now starting to become more United and one day Ben hoped they would all be able to live among each other in peace and harmony. Baby steps, though.
Being king was not an easy job in any way and becoming king at the young age of sixteen made it even more challenging. It had its benefits though like he never had to wait long queues, he had his own personal dorm unlike the rest of his classmate. Although he disliked being treated differently to everyone else purely due to the family he was born into. He was grateful as if he wasn't he never would have been able to make his first official royal proclamation which led him to meeting her.
Her name alone made his heart flutter and brought a smile to his face. He knew she was the one even if they were both young. He knew she would be the only girl he'd ever want to marry. He saw a future with her which he had never seen with anyone else. Being part of the Royal Family was not easy even for someone like Ben who had spent his whole life preparing to be king but Mal was willing to sacrifice anything to be with him. She wanted to be with him because of who he was not what he had. She would prefer if he was just an ordinary guy without the throne but that way they would have never met.
He imagined one day they would rule side by side and make Auradon an even better place to be. They would bring change like no other leader had or will do. She was his family and best friend. The love of his life. He would never be able to tell her how much she really meant to him as there simply weren't enough words in the English language.
One day, himself and Mal would finally get their happily ever after but before that comes trouble. Before their happy ending comes a great evil. One that threatens all that is good and beautiful. One that threatens the existence of all their loved ones.
Enough of that soppiness, this is where the real story begins. Everything seems perfect, there had been no real threats to the safety of Auradon since Ben's coronation. More and More villain kids were being brought over safely away from their villain parents and everyone was just happy. How long can this happiness last although? Auradon is full of adventure and anger and some things never change and this is no exception
