Stoppable Family: Krista Ruthie Stoppable

Chapter 1: Birth of A Dancer

A/N: I have decided to create a series of stories that takes place in the, This Is Our Year Universe and they will focus on Kim and Ron's biological children they have after their graduation from college. Since I have yet to come up with a story for Kim and Ron's first two children, the first story will be about Kim and Ron's third child, Krista Ruthie from her birth up to her first mission.

Disclaimer: All the KP characters belong to Disney. The OCs: Krista Ruthie Stoppable and Chelsea Williams belong to LuvPurple99, Ronald "RJ" Stoppable Jr. and Dawn Kimberly Stoppable belong to Waveform, Justin Stoppable belongs to Hotrod2001, Alexa Stoppable belongs to KPRS4ever. Other OCs, including Anna Stoppable, are of my own creation.

It was December 10th, 2012 at 11:59 pm, at a hospital in New York City as James Possible was standing outside the door to the delivery room Kim was escorted to earlier.

James then looked at his watch and noticed that it just turned midnight December 11th.

Just then, the door opened, revealing James' wife, Ann Possible with a smile on her face.

"James?" Anna spoke, getting her husband's attention.

"Yes, Ann?" James answered his wife.

"You wanna meet your new granddaughter?" Ann asked.

James brightened up before he followed Ann into the delivery room and saw his daughter, Kim, holding her newborn baby in her arms and standing near the bed with her was her husband, Ron Stoppable; their adopted-daughter, Anna Christiansen-Stoppable; and Anna's best friend/boyfriend, Albert Cole, with smiles on their faces.

James smiled and started tearing up as he walked up to Kim holding the baby.

He then got a good look at the newborn and noticed that she had green eyes and blonde hair.

"She's beautiful, Kimmie-cub," James commented.

"She looks just like me with Ron's hair," Kim pointed out.

"She does," James agreed. He then asked. "So, what are you and Ronald going to name her?"

Kim turned to Anna and Albert, "I believe we should let the godparents name her this time."

James looked up at Anna and Albert and asked, "What are you two going to name her?"

Anna and Albert turned to each other and then looked back at James.

"I wanted to name her Krista, after my biological grandmother from my Mom's side," Anna replied.

"And I wanted to name her, Ruthie, after my late mother," Albert added. "So, I think we should combine the two names and name the baby, Ruthie Krista."

"How about Krista Ruthie?" Anna suggested. "It sounds weird the other way around."

Albert nodded, "Agreed."

"I believe Krista Ruthie will be a great name," Kim commented, happily.

Everyone looked down at the newborn.

"Welcome to the family Krista Ruthie," Kim cooed.

"I'll go get the other family members," Anna announced.

"And I'll go make some calls," Albert added.

With that, Anna and Albert walked out of the delivery room.

Eight months later; in Yonkers, New York; Kim and Ron (the former holding a video camera) were in the living room of their house they bought after graduating from Hudson River University, and watching, Krista, playing on the carpet.

"Look at her summersault," Ron commented. "I think she takes after you when it comes to gymnastics."

"Looks like it," Kim agreed. "I was the same way when I was her age."

Just then, the doorbell rang.

"I'll get it," Ron said as he got up.

He then walked up to the door and opened it to see his adopted daughter, Anna, smiling and holding a bag with the Lapezio logo on it.

Ron smiled, "AC!"

"Hey, Dad," Anna waved.

Ron then stepped aside before Anna entered the house.

"Hey, Anna," Kim waved. "How are you?"

Anna looked at her adoptive mother, "I'm doing great. I have an hour before I help teach another tap dance class at the Annual New York City Tap Festival and I decided to use the time to get a present for Krista."

"I guess that explains the bag?" Kim asked, noticing the bag Anna was carrying.

"You know it," Anna replied. She then walked over to the carpet, got down on her knees, and cooed. "Hey, Krista."

Krista turned to Anna.

Anna then reached into the bag, and pulled out a shoebox with a picture of a dancer on it, opened the box, and pulled out a small pair of black patent Mary Jane lace-up tap shoes.

"Look what I got you," Anna cooed. She then tapped the shoes on the hardwood floor. "Tap shoes."

Krista brightened up and quickly crawled up to Anna and sat herself up.

"Let me put them on for you," Anna said, softly.

She then gently placed the tap shoes on Krista's feet before tying them on.

"You got her tap shoes?" Kim asked.

Anna stood up and turned to Kim, "I did."

Just then, two steps were heard.

Kim, Ron, and Anna looked down to see Krista standing on her feet!

"I don't believe this!" Kim gasped as she pointed her camera at Krista.

Krista then started walking in a circle on the hardwood floor.

"Her first steps!" Ron gasped.

Krista then stopped and shuffled her left foot.

Anna gasped, "Her first tap dance move!"

"Tap dance!" Krista spoke.

Kim, Ron, and Anna gasped in unison, "Her first words!"

"Wow," Anna commented. "All it took was a pair of tap shoes for Krista to take her first steps, perform her first tap since move, and speak her first words! I have to admit, she's so my sister."

"Tap dance!" Krista said.

Anna then picked Krista up and held her like a baby, "And one who will no doubt be tapping her way through life."

"Tap dance!" Krista said.

"Wanna watch me tap dance in my studio?" Anna asked. "Afterward, I'll help you perform your first tap dance."

"Tap dance!" Krista cheered.

"May we join in watching you two?" Kim asked. "I wanna record your tap dance and Krista's first tap dance."

Anna nodded, "Of course you can."

With that said, Anna (with Krista in her arms), Kim, and Ron walked off to Anna's dance studio, which was at the back of the house.

After entering Anna's dance studio, Kim and Ron sat down in a couple of chairs that happened to have been in there.

Anna then handed Krista to Ron before Ron took the baby into his arms and sat her on his lap.

Anna then sat down on the floor, pulled a pair of black lace-up tap shoes from her purse, and tied them on.

After the shoes were on, Anna looked at Krista, "Ready to watch me tap?"

"Tap dance!" Krista shouted as she clapped her hands.

Anna stood up, walked a short distance away, turned to her parents and new sister and started tap dancing.

A minute later, Anna concluded her tap dance.

"Ta Dah!" She said in excitement.

"That was great, AC!" Ron said, happily.

"Great job, Anna!" Kim added, happily.

"Grea tap dance!" Krista cooed.

Anna then walked back over to her parents and new sister.

She then took Krista off of Ron's lap and into her arms.

"Ready to perform your first tap dance?" Anna cooed.

Krista nodded, "Tap dance!"

Anna then walked back over to where she did her tap dance, gently sat Krista down on the floor, took her hands into her own, and helped her onto her feet.

Still holding hands with Anna, Krista started tapping her toes.

"Tap dance!" Krista cooed as she continued tap dancing.

"You're doing great!" Anna commented. She then asked. "Do you wanna be a tap dancer when you grow up?"

"Yes!" Krista replied, happily, as she continued tap dancing. "Tap dance!"

From a distance, Kim (who was filming Krista's first tap dance) and Ron were happily watching what was happening before them.

"Looks like we have another dancer in the family," Ron added.

Just then, two young boys who look like Ron Stoppable as a child, only with their mother's green eyes and their Nana Ann's hair walked into the studio. It was Ronald "RJ" Stoppable Junior and his twin-brother, Justin.

They soon noticed what was going on.

"Shh..." Ron said to his and Kim's first born sons.

RJ and Justin turned to their father before turning back to Anna and Krista as the latter continued tap dancing with the former holding her hands.

Soon, Krista stopped tap dancing and said, "Ta dah!"

"Great job, Krista!" Kim said in excitement.

"You are a bon-diggity dancer!" Ron added.

"That was fantastic, Krista!" Anna commented. "You are on the road to becoming a great tap dancer."

"Great," RJ groaned.

"Another tapper in the family," Justin added.

Anna soon noticed her brothers and said, "Well you're gonna have to get used to it."

Krista looked at her brothers, "Love tap dance!"

RJ and Justin sighed as they turned around and walked out of the studio.

"I know I've asked this too many times before but what's their deal?" Ron asked Kim.

Kim sighed, "Well, Ron, once again, all I can say is that I guess tap is not their favorite form of dance."

Anna shook her head, "They'll never understand how great tap dancing is."

"Tap dance great!" Krista added.

A/N: I might put a hold on this story for a while so I can finish my other stories.

I hope you enjoyed this first chapter and I like to give a huge thank you to LuvPurple99, Waveform, Hotrod2001, and KPRS4ever for allowing me to use their OCs in my story.
