Hi! This is my first fanfiction that I've officially posted, YAY. I wrote this for my friend, ReallyYesShips.
I hope you enjoy! Also, I do not own Fairy Tail, Hiro Mashima does... sadly.
Right now, no one was as beautiful as her. Especially now, when he looked down to her gripping his arm as he led her down the aisle. He knew this day would come and thank Mavis he wasn't giving her off to that damn ice prick he thought.
Once upon a time he thought he'd be the one waiting at the altar. Of course, that was back when their only friends were each other. Now he has Levy, and she has Laxus.
They always did have chemistry especially on Fairy Tail team B missions. Those started happening when those idiots went on the 100 year quest; those damn idiots are missing this moment too.
Gajeel looked back down at the beautiful water mage as they drew closer to the altar. Mavis, he loved her so much. Without her he'd be dead by now, probably starved to death. He tried to keep her out but at the age of 13 and very hurt how could he.
He thought back at the memory in July. Metalicana had just abandoned him and it started raining randomly. The smell of the rain was comforting almost like home. That's when he met her. She spoke lowly chanting "shin shin to" but she offered the lonely boy, himself, protection from the rain and some bread. Who would have thought she would've blossomed into this blushing bride holding his arm.
This was it; this was the moment where he had to give her away.
"Thank you Gajeel-kun" she said sweetly.
He responded with a nod and went to his seat next to Levy.
Even though she had lived a sunless life it was always very bright with her around Gajeel thought. He had wished to be the one to show her the sun someday, who knew he'd have to beat her in a fight to do that. He could never do that to her though, sure they fought but that was mainly training. He looked at his forearm. Scars that he received from her.
He could remember it like it was yesterday. It was when they realized Juvia's water slicers could go through steel.
"I do"
At those words he couldn't hold it back anymore as the dam had broken and the tears shot out of his eyes. Levy held his hand firmly. He felt like he was losing her now. Of course, that was an idiotic thought, but he couldn't help it. His number one best friend was now officially married. Sure, she and Laxus had moved in together almost a year prior so he couldn't go to her house and steal her iron, but this was new. Now he knew what she felt when he was up there getting married.
Mavis, he was happy today.
He had been there through the rain, through the boyfriends, her Gray obsession, her promiscuous phase, and now this. He'd be damned if he wasn't there for everything else. He couldn't wait to see what else fate had in store for the both of them.
What are your thoughts?
Sorry if you spot any grammatical errors. I suck with commas by the way.
I hope you enjoyed! Thanks for reading :)
