"It's finally over! It is FINALLY over!". They never thought that the time would come, where they can all be together again. It has been almost eight years since they saw each other in person. Almost eight years ago they had to separate their family to keep the most important member of the Mikaelson clan save. Hope Mikaelson changed them all for the better. Because of her they found a way to each other again almost 15 years ago. She has first made Elijah stay in New Orleans, then Rebekah. When Kol and Freya came, they stayed too. Everyone felt the need to protect the 'miracle baby'. And therefore, they had to take separate ways. The Hollow has kept Klaus from his daughter. He couldn't watch her growing up. He missed so many important parts of her life, so that now he was almost anxious. After so many years, they finally found a way to destroy the Hollow. And now everyone of the lost members were on their way to return home.

Klaus Mikaelson isn't afraid of many things. But the one thing he is frightened of is the thought of a possible rejection by his daughter. He wasn't the best father in the last few years. He has gone crazy. Not only that, but he killed so many people and no one was there to stop him. Most of the time his older brother would keep him in line but this time he wasn't there. He decided to let go of his obsession with the hybrid's redemption. He has finally had enough. Klaus knew that Elijah erased his memories for a reason. He had to somehow stay away from the family. But at the same time, he was so angry and frustrated. It wasn't a characteristic thing for the original vampire to do. Elijah loved his family and Klaus knew that there must have been so much more to it. But he won't have a chance to find out. The first two years, Klaus sometimes checked up on his brother. He would watch him play the piano in a small French pub, and he would look so content and at ease while doing it. As much as he wanted to talk to his brother, he never had the courage to do so. And one day, when he decided to follow his desire, he wasn't there anymore. And he wasn't there on the day after. Or a week after. Klaus was searching for him desperately through the whole world, but after a year he accepted, that his brother didn't want to be found. And that's when the younger Mikaelson turned mad. And that's when Hope saw him. She saw his true self. The one where he is lost without his brother. Klaus Mikaelson was broken beyond repair. And in order to keep his daughter from seeing anything like the scenario on that particular night, he stopped calling. He stayed out of her life. Klaus decided to focus his energy on finding a way to reconnect their family – with or without Elijah. And he finally did it. But now he didn't even know what to say to his daughter. How would she react. Would she even talk to him? Does she hate him?

"Nik", a soft voice interrupted his thought, "We're finally together." It was Rebekah. His sister was as beautiful as ever, glowing happily. Tears of joy were running down her cheeks as she hugged her brother. They were standing at the airport, waiting for Freya to pick them up. "I'm happy to see you too sister", Klaus smiled lightly as he tried to distract himself from the way his thought were going. He wanted to concentrate on the fact that his family will be together again. "Where is Kol?", Klaus asked as he remembered his younger brother. "He and Davina will arrive tomorrow, he said something about important matters", explained the blonde. Klaus nodded as he saw Freya running up to them with Hayley in tow. Everything happened so fast, but they were all embraced in a hug by Freya. Almost everyone was there. When they were finally sitting in Klaus' old car, they were on their way home. "Home", Klaus muttered silently, feeling a wave of relief rush through him. His sister took his hand and smiled at him.

Just as they were entering their house, Hayley's phone rang. She left for a few minutes just to return to them with a worried expression on her face. "Caroline just called. Hope is in the hospital."

So this first part was very short, but I promise the next chapter will be much longer! I hope you enjoyed it so far!
