It was an ordinary night. Lucid danced smiling as always in the arms of a stranger. The music played while her and other girls danced with their companions. She looked into the eyes of her companion who guided the movements.

Lucid had been working there for a long time. Her family didn't know that, after all, if they did, they certainly wouldn't accept it. Everyone thought these women were lost, women of the night. They abhorred that. But in fact a good part of them were really of that type. But not Lucid.

She was straight, pure. Just danced and nothing else. Soon the song ends and Lucid comes across her partner. She bows briefly and the man kisses her hand. Lucid, politely, smiles kindly. She sits and waits for her next partner.

While she waited, Lucid looked around admiring the beautiful and bright place. Her vision then focuses on something somewhat unusual. A fox, clearly a woman. She was dressed in clothes more common to men. She watched the girls dance.

Lucid wonders what she would be doing there. After all, in that outfit, she wouldn't attract any man to dance with her. The fox notices Lucid's stares, who just looks away quickly.

When she looks again, the fox was no longer there. Lucid then shakes her head and turns her attention back to the dance floor. Another man had chosen her to dance. She gets up and goes with him to the track.

[Time skip brought by Lucid waltzing with herself]

It was late. Lucid was about to leave. She had just finished her last dance and had changed to leave. She says goodbye to her friends and goes on her way. As he walks, Lucid feels that she is being followed. She looks back and is surprised by a man who pulls her into an alley.

Lucid tries to scream but the man pressed his hand to Lucid's mouth. He smelled like alcohol. Lucid is afraid of what could happen. She starts to cry as the man smiles at her.

—Why are you *Hic* crying girl? Aren't you a stray? —He says. Drunkenness clear in his voice. —I'll *Hic* Be really nice... I promise...

The man approaches Lucid by removing his hand from her mouth. She continues to cry.

—P-please... N-no... —She said, terrified. The man rubs her face.

—Calm down little *Hic* bear... I'm not going to do anything wrong... —He comes a little closer.

—Haven't you heard her say that she doesn't want it? —Said a feminine but imposing voice from the entrance to the alley. The man looks over there. The darkness did not allow the two to see who it was.

—Who are you? —Asks the man.

—Someone who is going to make you regret if you do something with her... —Said the figure who appeared to be with its arms crossed. The man snarls.

—Is that a *Hic* challenge?! Because, if it is, you can try! —He says releasing Lucid and getting ready to attack anyone.

—Okay... You asked... —Says the person who starts to approach.

Getting close, it is possible to see that it was the fox that Lucid watched before. Lucid is impressed. What was that fox doing there? The man just laughed under his breath.

—Are you *Hic* going to stop me? Hah! What a joke... —He says laughing.

—Are you really going to laugh at me? Know that this is a big mistake... —Said the fox looking from top to bottom of the man. He continues to laugh, not believing the word of the fox in front of him.

—You can *Hic* try, sweetie... —He says. The fox seems to be enraged.

—Do you want to call me a sweetie? So you're going to call me that in hell! —She says and punches the man hard in the nose.

He falls back unconscious. The fox watches. Lucid just watched. The fox looks at her. Lucid is a little afraid when she starts to approach. The fox extends her hand to Lucid.

—You should be aware of walking around at night... Do you want me to take you home? To prevent further attacks... —The fox proposed.

Lucid nods and takes the fox's hand. The two left the alley. The fox takes the bear through the empty streets of the city. Lucid just watched the fox trying to understand who she was.
