Rex expected many things to happen when the yellow light of Breach's portal faded. (The first thing was death; the second thing was getting stuck in the four-armed girl's creepy pocket dimension.) Falling through the air in some glass dome with many different biomes, was one of the least likely scenarios. (For the record, least likely was ending up in a universe with aliens, magic, cryptids, and mutants.)
Thankfully, Six's training and his fights with EVOs had taught how to react quickly. He grabbed the unconscious Breach and formed his Boogie Pack to slow their momentum. The two EVOs had a somewhat rough landing on a boat in the middle of the water zone; Rex taking note of the three things that fell into the water around the boat.
"Ok Breach," Rex said, taking a breath, "Where are we?" He didn't get an answer. Upon looking over, he noticed she was still passed out and her enhancing armor was now damaged. He placed his hand on one of her many wrists checking for a pulse. Confirming she was alive, he then activated his com. "Rex to Providence. Come in Providence." Nothing but static, weird. Too focused on his two immediate problems, Rex didn't notice the second series of splashes behind him.
"One of them's on the boat!" That he did hear, though it was in japanese. Rex turned around while groaning at the thought of being halfway around the world. He saw three kids, two of them obviously being EVOs (he couldn't tell immediately with the second male as the green hair could be dyed). All three of the kids were wearing jumpsuits and looking fearfully at him.
"Look," Rex said, now speaking japanese, "I'm sorry for interrupting your vacation or whatever", This place had to be a theme park of some kind, "but if you could point me to the exit and give me the location of the nearest Providence base then we'll be out of your hair."
The green teens now looked more confused than scared, the small purple one was still panicking. After a second, the girl broke the silence. "Ribbit. You're not with the villains?", she asked cautiously.
"Villains?" Rex was now the one confused. Then a giant tentral of water chopped the boat in half. The ship was now sinking. Rex grabbed on to Breach to keep her from sliding into the water; the kids finally noticed Rex's companion. "You guys", he addressed the costumed trio, "I'm going to form the Sky Slyder. Help me get Breach", he pointed at her, "on it, then get on. Ok?"
The green boy nodded and grabbed the female EVO, allowing Rex to form his blue hoverboard. The kids stared at the newly formed machine. "Well", Rex put on his goggles, "give her to me then hop on!" Rex was getting tired of the frustrating day he was having.
The green kids started to cooperate before the purple one interrupted. "Wait! A-are you really h-helping him!? H-he could be with the villains!" Seriously! Rex didn't think he looked like a bad guy.
The green male finally spoke up. "M-Mineta", Oh good, a name, "I-I don't think he would be helping us escape if he was helping them."
"Ribbit. Midoriya's right." Another name! "Besides, I don't think we have much of a choice." The conversation appeared to be over as the kids handed him Breach, before getting on themselves. After everyone was secure, Rex held onto Breach then flew up away from the boat. He looked down and, oh boy that was a lot of EVOs. He was going to be extra exhausted after all this. Rex shook his head; civilians first, bash heads later.
"So, where's the exit?" he asked.
"Over there. Ribbit." the girl pointed to the door where other people were gathered. Right, Rex still didn't know all their names. He should change that.
"By the way, I'm Rex. The girl I'm carrying is Breach. What about you guys?" He started to fly in the pointed direction.
"Call me Tsu. Ribbit. The small one is Mineta-san." She introduced the one that was too scared to talk.
"I'm Midoriya!" Then he excitedly said, "Your Quirk is so cool!"
Rex was confused again. "Um, thanks. But what do you mean by-" Then a misty purple portal opened in front of them.
Crap! Rex lost his concentration, causing his build to fall apart. The portal's exit was close to the ground so when Rex turned to break Breach's fall her armor was more uncomfortable than the skid marks.
"Well Kurogiri, at least you didn't fail your objective twice", a raspy voice breathed out. As Breach slid off him, Rex stood up and looked toward the voice. He saw a young adult who had what appeared to be severed hands on his arms and head, a EVO made of purple mist with skinny yellow eyes and wearing a metal collar, another EVO colored all black with a beak and exposed brain, and one last person wearing all black who was being smashed into the concrete by the beaked EVO.
"I apologise, Tomura Shigaraki. My portals will not fail you a second time.", the misty EVO addressed the young adult.
"Portals?", Rex realized something, "Oh, Breach's portal must have connected to yours and that's how I found myself in the middle of this attack. Which I'm guessing you guys are the ring leaders of." Please monologue. Please monologue. The kids behind him needed to get away from the soon to be battlefield, hopefully with Breach.
"We are the League of Villains", yes, good, monologue, "we came here to kill All Might as well as anyone who gets in our way", said Tomura. The black EVO then slammed the black-clad person's head into the floor again.
Rex opened his mouth to keep them talking when Midoriya yelled, "Let go of sensei!" The kid ran forward punching, "Detroit Smash!" A large amount of force came from Midoriya, but the black EVO was not affected. "W-why didn't?" The beaked EVO screeched, let go of the kid's sensei, and raised a hand to grab Midoriya.
"Kid!" Rex formed the Smack Hands to grab the now-confirmed green haired EVO and his teacher. He pulled them out of the way just before the big guy punched, destroying the ground.
"Such hypocrites. You heroes are always so quick to resort to violence." Tomura had resumed his monologue. "And that attack, you're an All Might fan-boy aren't you? Nomu here is the Anti-Symbol of Peace. His Quirk is Shock Absorption. Neither you nor All Might can hurt him!"
Oh good, Rex knew his name and powers now. But first, "Midoriya! Grab your teacher and Breach and get out of here!"
"But Rex-san", Rex could hear the concern in the kid's voices.
"I deal with bigger and uglier creeps than this on a daily basis. I'll be fine just go!"
Something changed in the kid's eyes at those words, "Okay, Rex-sama." Midoriya and Tsu, who had come closer during the disagreement, grabbed the two unconscious people and started to drag them away.
With one problem taken care of, Rex turned back toward the main issue at hand. Tomura was looking toward him and, like Midoriya, something had changed in his gaze. "So," the villain hissed, "you're a Hero, correct?"
Rex's eyebrow raised as he put away his Smack Hands. "Well, I don't mean to brag, but considering I save people on a daily basis. Yes, I am." Rex then formed his first Omega-1 build, the Blast Caster.
"Good." Tomura started to scratch his neck. "Because I hate heroes. Nomu! Kill Him!"
Nomu charged at Rex, who barely dodged. OK! He's fast! Most of Rex's builds wouldn't work here because physical attacks couldn't hurt the beast. But, Rex charged up his whip, energy attacks can! The whip lashed out, hitting Nomu and stunning him for a bit. Rex smirked at seeing his idea work. Nomu started to recover, but Rex didn't let him. The Blast Caster whipped around Nomu and tightened, trapping the large EVO's limbs, then delivered a more potent and longer shock. The black beast screeched in pain as the electricity flowed through his body. Rex then pulled himself toward Nomu while extending his free hand, hoping to cure the EVO. "Say good-bye to your attack dog!" Rex placed his left hand on Nomu's chest and!
Nothing. Not nothing as in uncurable, nothing as in there was nothing to cure in the first place. This thing was like the chupacabra in that it was not an EVO! Even more shocking was the fact that Rex couldn't feel a single nanite in Nomu! That should be impossible! Every living thing has nanites except for White Knight! In shock, Rex had accidentally loosened the bonds on Nomu allowing the creature to break out, destroying the Blast Caster and throwing Rex back in the process.
The sixteen-year old hispanic looked up at Nomu with a bit of fear. Freed, the not-EVO restarted it's relentless attack. Rex resumed his dodging and tried to form one of builds, but he couldn't. He was too unfocused, too shocked, too scared. Tomura laughed. "You see Hero!", the villain spit out, "Nomu was made to defeat the number one Hero. There's no way he would fall to a no-name like you!" Though confused by many of the words, Rex was starting to doubt whether he could actually beat whatever Nomu was. All of a sudden, a voice rang out across the building.
"It's alright! Because I AM HERE!" Rex dodged another attack from Nomu, as gushes of wind blew behind them . Rex avoided two more punches, before he felt someone pick him up and the wind rush around him. The teenager was set on the floor and heard a voice. "So", Rex looked up and saw a muscular, blond man with a piercing, blue gaze, "my students told me you helped protect them. Is this true?"
Rex lifted his goggles up. "Y-yeah."
"Then I thank you, young Rex, for being there for my students when I could not. Now rest, for I shall deal with these villains."
"All Might, you can't." Midoriya said. Which confirmed the man's identity and made Rex realize he was near the steps. "That brain villain took One for-uh. I smashed him and didn't break my arm this time. He wasn't phased at all! He's too strong!"
"Young Midoriya!" All Might looked back at them and flashed a peace sign. "I got this!" He then ran at incredible speeds toward the villains.
Rex was still stunned at everything that happened in the last minute. "Rex-sama," Midoriya said, snapping Rex out of it, "All Might's got this." The green kid gave Rex a smile. "Can you help us carry them?" He pointed at Breach and his teacher.
"S-Sure '' said Rex, still very much out of it. Running on autopilot, he picked up Breach's left side, Tsu grabbed her right side, while Midoriya and Mineta carried their teacher. The group of teens started to walk toward the stairs. The other three EVOs started to discuss their teacher All Might. No, Rex thought, if that thing wasn't an EVO then these kids next to him might not be EVOs either. Hell, Rex thought in a bit of a panic, Breach and I might be the only EVOs here! Just as Rex unknowingly came to the correct conclusion, he heard a small groan.
"R-Rex?" Breach breathed out. The three others stopped talking. Their attention was now drawn to the first word they had heard from the four-armed girl. "A-am I safe?"
Rex's existential crisis was put on the back burner. Switching to English, he comforted his fellow EVO, "We're safe Breach. Don't worry, I'm gonna get you help."
Rex felt her two left arms grip him a little. "V-Van Kleiss?", she said with a shaky voice.
"He's gone Breach." Another thing Rex had to come to terms with; his arch-enemy was gone. "And he'll never hurt you again"
"Rex", she sounded relieved, "t-thank you." The female EVO's voice got quieter, "Thank you, for being my friend." Then she passed out again.
Rex sighed, "Your welcome Breach." For a moment there was peace, then a loud boom erupted from the center of the building.
All eyes turned to the battle which was now obscured by dust. However as it cleared, the sight within shocked everyone. It appeared All Might had tried to suplex Nomu into the ground, however Kurogiri had made a portal at the location Nomu was going to hit, then opened one behind All Might's back which Nomu now had a death grip on. All Might let go of the monster's torso then tried to free himself from Nomu's grip. All Might then started to slowly descend toward the portal below him. If Rex knew anything from Breach using her own portals as makeshift shurikens, it is that fact that a tear in space is sharp. Unless All Might had some form of regeneration, he wasn't going to survive.
"Asui", Midoriya said, "can you hold Aizawa-sensei for a moment?"
"Ribbit. Um, sure", the frog girl replied, "But wh-" Midoriya took off before she could finish her sentence.
"Kid!" Rex yelled. He dropped Breach fully onto Tsu, who collapsed under the weight of two people, while Rex ran after Midoriya.
Focus, Focus. Rex tried to form his builds but still failed. The Boogie Pack, the Rex Ride, the Sky Slyder, the Punk Busters, anything! They either fell apart or didn't fully form. Rex saw Midoriya jump toward All Might. No! He saw Kurogiri form in-between the student and teacher. NO! He saw a flash of light and heard an explosion. Huh?!
"Get the hell out of my way Dekuuu!" A blonde kid was now holding the mist man on the ground by his metal color. Rex looked up at All might just in time to see jump free from Nomu, who appeared to now have his body half frozen over by another kid. Then some shirtless, red haired kid jumped at Tomura, unfortunately the villain jumped back dodging the attack. Rex stared as a group of kids were able to keep their cool better than he, a seasoned and trained agent of Providence had.
Meanwhile over at the stairs, Tsu and Mineta had gotten close enough that their classmates could see them. They called for help lugging the two heavy bodies up the stairs to safety.
Back at the fight, Rex could hear the others talking but he wasn't paying attention. Get your head in the game Rex. So what if they aren't EVOs. So what if you have no idea what's going on here. So what if that guy is hard to beat. I've faced greater odds before and won! Just treat this situation as incurable EVOs and worry about the life-changing and existential ramifications later! Rex took a deep breath and then breathed out. Then Rex heard screeching and cracking.
Looking at the Nomu, Rex saw it pull itself out of the portal then break off it's iced limbs. "How is that thing still moving?", Midoriya questioned, "He's all messed up."
"Stay back everybody!", All Might yelled, out holding his hand out to block the students. Nomu's destroyed parts then started to regenerate at speeds rivaling Van Kleiss. "What is this?" All Might asked, "I thought you said his power was Shock Absorption."
"I didn't say that was his only Quirk, he also has Super Regeneration", Tomura said smugly. "Nomu has been modified to take you on even at 100% of your power. He's basically a highly efficient punching bag that hits back." Rex knew the villain was smiling under that hand he was wearing. "First we need to free our method of escape." Rex eyed the kid holding down Kurogiri. "Get him Nomu." Rex and Nomu moved.
Just another EVO. Just another EVO! JUST ANOTHER EVO! Two gauntlets formed on his hands that projected blue energy fields. Rex made the Block Party's force fields as tough as he could when. Smash! Shatter! Rex and the blonde kid were blown back a good 10 feet but no worse for wear. Rex heard a voice while reorienting himself, "I didn't need your help you stupid extra!"
Rex ignored the blonde, stood up, and looked forward. All Might's fist appeared to have collided with Nomu's causing some of the blast to be redirected to the side. If only a fraction of that punch had destroyed Block Party's shields then, if he took it full force. Nope, nope, don't think about it. Rex refocused his gaze on All Might as the teacher repositioned himself in between his students and the villains. Glaring at Tomura, All Might said, "These are kids and you didn't hold back?"
"I didn't have much choice", the villain replied, "He was threatening my companion. Besides these kids are no angels. The plain looking one." None of these kids looked plain to Rex, "He tried to kill Nomu with a maxed out punch." Wait, he was talking about Midoriya? The kid has green hair! How was that plain looking?! "What kind of "hero" does something like that?" 'One that recognized a lethal threat and responded accordingly' Rex's inner Six said 'especially if that threat is mindless.' Rex's own consensus added. "You think you can get away with being as violent as you want if you say it's for the sake of others." OK, he might have a small point there with how extreme Providence was willing to be at times, but they weren't even close to being like Hunter Kane, anymore, because they had Rex.
All Might growled as Tomura kept ranting. "Well, you know what, All Might? That pisses me off. Why do people get to decide that some violent acts are heroic and others are villainous?" Because it mostly mattered on why you did the violent act? "Casting judgment as to what's 'good' and what's 'evil.' You think you're the Symbol of Peace?" He's what now? "Ha. You're just another government‐sponsored instrument of violence." He's a living weapon like Rex? Sweet! "And violence always breeds more violence. I'll make sure the world understands that once you're dead." Ok, crazy talk should be done. Now it's Rex's turn.
"Look, Tomura-"
"My name is SHIGARAKI!" he interrupted.
"I'm calling you Tomura. As much as I SOMEWHAT agree with a FEW of your points. I doubt the guy trying to attack and kill KIDS is on the moral high ground here."
"Young Rex is right" All Might agreed. "You're nothing but a lunatic. Criminals like you; you always try and make your actions sound noble. But admit it; you're only doing this because you like it. Isn't that right?"
"Well, I guess you two heroes have got me all figured out." Tomura admitted.
"We've got them outnumbered." Ice boy said.
"And Kacchan found the mist guy's weakness." Oh good, Rex now had a name for the blonde kid.
"These dudes may act really tough", Rex heard the red head's voice for the first time, "but we can take 'em down now with All Might's help." The kid then did something to his hands and forearms. "Let's do this."
"Don't attack." All Might commaded. "Get out of here."
"You would've been in trouble earlier if it weren't for me, remember?" The ice kid was starting to remind Rex of Six, "You need our help."
"I thank you for your assistance, but this is different."
"Yeah, kids", Rex chimed in, "leave this to the pros."
All Might grimaced, "I was referring to you as well young Rex."
Rex felt slightly insulted. "No way, I need to get my rematch against beak-brain. Besides, I doubt your blunt force trauma is going to be that effective against him." Focus. Just. Another. EVO. "You're going to need a bit of an edge" Rex's right hand then transformed into a giant sword.
"What the hell?!" "That's so manly!" "Your quirk is so cool!"
Rex soaked up the praise. "Oh this? I call it the BFS." Rex heard a few snickers and snorts. "I'm sure you all know what it stands for." At least unofficially. Stupid Providence 'professionalism' making him have the "F" officially mean "fat". They didn't even let him use "freaking"!
All Might still looked a little skeptical. "Are you sure you can keep up? That thing is no push over."
"I get thrown into fights almost daily and I was trained by the sixth deadliest man in the world. Trust me, I can handle myself."
"A duel Bossfight?", Tomura observed, "those can be challenging. But it doesn't matter. We still outnumber you. Let's just clear this level and go home. Nomu. Kurogiri. Kill those two. I'll deal with the children." Tomura then ran towards the kids.
"Heads up, we're fightin' after all", red head said.
All Might and Nomu ran at each other and when their fists collided a massive gust of wind burst from the impact. Nearly everyone was thrown a good ways away from the battlefield. Rex only managed to stay nearby by quickly jamming The BFS into the ground in order to anchor himself. While the constant squall wrecked Rex's body, he used his left hand to pull down his goggles and readied himself. Spotting an opening, Rex sliced at the back of the creature, causing the winds to stop for a moment and All Might to get a few easy hits in. The moment passed as the whirlwind resumed and Rex re-anchored himself. A strategy now set, Rex repeated this action many times. He could faintly hear Tomura's voice over the winds, but he was too focused on the fight to give any attention to it or the words All Might was saying back. Rex could tell the fight was nearing the end, so in his final attack he transformed the BFS into the Battle Saw and cut off one of Nomu's arms. Rex then flew through the air, his sword disappearing. He landed next to where the four students were, giving him a front Row seat to All Might now throwing the Nomu around like a ragdoll, before landing one final punch that sent it through the roof of the building.
The kids were saying stuff but Rex was paying more attention to All Might. The Hero then spoke up, "I really have gotten weaker. Back in my heyday, five hits woulda been enough to knock that guy out. But today, it took more than 200 mighty blows and a young Hero giving his assistance." That was 200! "You've been bested, villains. Surrender. We all want to get this over with quickly." Rex agreed with that statement.
Rex walked closer to All Might. As he approached, he could hear Tomura ranting about how All Might cheated and was supposed to be weaker. Rex glanced at the adonis of a man, and noticed he did appear to be quite strained at the moment. Not knowing whether he was bluffing or not, Rex decided to make the threat more real by pulling out the Slam Cannon and loading it with debris from the fight and aiming it at the two villains. "I'd listen to what he says if I were you. I still got a lot of juice left and those four power houses behind us are probably itching for a fight."
"Do you think that I'm just going to walk a-". Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! One bullet went through each of Tomura's limbs. Rex heard something like a loud "Yeah" behind him but kept his sights focused on the two villains. "Aw, man." The villain kept talking despite the pain. "The pros are here. It's game over. For real. Let's go home and try this when we can get a replay." The two villains then disappeared through portals made of purple mist.
"Well", the slam canon disassembled and Rex put up his goggles, "this has been a long day for me." The adrenaline rush was finally starting to wear off, leaving Rex feeling exhausted. He didn't think he could take any more surprises today. Poof! The EVO looked over where All Might had just been standing, only to see a blond that looked more like a skeleton than a bodybuilder.
"Uh", All Might (cause who else could it be) started, "I-uh."
Rex held up his hand, "I can keep a secret."
All Might shot him a very grateful look, "Thank you, young Rex."
"All Might, Rex-sama!", Midoriya called as he ran over to the two.
"Um?" "It's OK. Young Midoriya already knows." Rex was too tired to care at this point.
Midoriya stopped in front of the two. "Are you guys all right?"
"I'm fine", Rex breathed out, "just a little tired." He started to tip over.
"Rex-sama!" "Young Rex" The two caught Rex before he fell to the floor.
"On second thought, I think I'm about to pass out." He remembered something important before sleep overtook him. "Hey guys, you know who Breach is, right?"
"She was the young woman you came here with, correct?"
"Yep! Can you make sure she's in the same room as me? Because if she doesn't see me when she wakes up, she might go crazy and not in a good way."
All Might chuckled, "Don't worry young Rex. I'll personally make sure both you and her receive proper care and stay together"
"Thanks, All Might." With those words, Rex finally fell asleep.

Hi, everyone who randomly found this! This is my first fanfiction ever after only being a reader for 5 years. I spent 14 hours non-stop writing and editing this yesterday. This and other one-shots I will make may become full stories later but don't expect that for a while. If you want to use the premise of "Breach's portal sent her and Rex to another world" or this story's full premise of them ending up in MHA, you have my permission just please try to credit me. I appreciate constructive criticism and pointing out grammar mistakes, I am on here partially to become a better author. Thank You.
Story Notes(in order)
Yes, that was a Ben 10 reference, no Rex hasn't met him at this point in canon. Providence is a world-wide origination and Rex canonically speaks multiple languages, Japanese is not a stretch. Yes, the water zone is quick; it is not the main point of the fic and Rex can fly. We are seeing the story from Rex's point of view so I do my best to make descriptions run on Rex's logic and knowledge, which is why most people are incorrectly identified as EVOs. The Sky Slyder is big, glowing, and flying out in the open; of course the villains would notice and not want more escapees. Yes, Rex figures out the portal connection quickly, he is canonically quite smart; it also serves for everyone else to realize Rex came by accident. The -san and -sama are really only here for this scene, I wanted to emphasize Deku and the others believing Rex to be a young Pro. Every human has a fear of the unknown, Rex is no different; Nomu(and the rest of MHA) deify the reality Rex knows. All Might didn't grab Rex at the start as he didn't know the teen was an ally, Deku told All Might about Rex off screen. At this point I was rewatching the episode and reading the transcript to figure what I should keep on-screen, off-screen, or change. Yeah, Rex gets the correct conclusions a little too quickly, *shrug*. This scene was mostly a Deku monologue and I didn't want that so I gave Breach a small scene. Rex's mind and emotions are still chaos, seeing the kids do better(in his eyes) help him snap out of it. The Block Party is not indestructible, I checked. Hope Rex's inner and outer commentary feels in character, I fear I may have put too much of my own views in it. Rex was calling him Tomura because the western world uses first name, now he's doing it to annoy him. The BFS lore is my headcannon, hope you like it. Tried to make Rex do a substantial amount without overshadowing All Might, thus the 200 punches versus the canon 300. Rex doesn't know about Pro Heroes, but All Might's actions make him a Hero. Rex's banter meant things went longer so the teacher came "sooner". Rex just went through 2 season finals without break, he is running on fumes. Yes, they likely assume Breach is Rex's girlfriend, if I do go that direction in the story Breach will need HEAVY therapy first.
Future Plot Points
The normal fitting in and cover story stuff in crossovers. The League cares more about Breach at first because she is a teleporter. Rex and Breach joining UA. Breach getting therapy. Rex learning how to switch builds faster, use more than one at once, and possibly unlocking more. Power Loader fixing Breach's armor so they can go home. Both Rex and Breach(but mostly Breach) feeling like they belong more in this world.
