A voice cast consisting of actors and actresses I chose for the characters of my story, Digimon Adventure Tamers. Split into several parts due to the large cast.

For those who have been following my Digimon Adventure Tamers, it's definitely been a long time since my last chapter, more than a year. I apologize for this, but I have been on a hiatus. I have been watching the new Digimon Adventure anime that is currently ongoing, and it's been taking a while since the whole COVID pandemic caused the show to go on a three-month hiatus itself after it's first three episodes last year. When I do return to my story, I plan on including a couple of Digimon in the story that were in the new anime series.

In the meantime, I've been making a voice cast for my story. Due to the large cast of characters I have, this cast list will be split into several parts. Some characters will have the same actors that they did from the anime, while others will be different due to personal reasons of mine, and real-life events such as some of the actors dying.

So with that, here's the first part, which covers the 01 and 02 Digidestined.

Taichi "Tai" Kamiya: Joshua Seth

Can't really imagine anyone else voicing Tai than Joshua Seth.

Botamon: Brianne Siddall

Koromon: Brianne Siddall

Agumon: Tom Fahn

Greymon: Lex Lang

MetalGreymon: Lex Lang

WarGreymon: Lex Lang

Agumon's voice roles remain the same from the original. I know Kyle Hebert did Greymon, MetalGreymon, and WarGreymon for Last Evolution, but I chose Lex Lang for nostalgic reasons.

Yamato "Matt" Ishida: Michael Reisz

Like Tai, a classic that's hard to replace. I couldn't exactly do Vic Mignogna, due to...controversy, and I had no idea who did Matt for Last Evolution, but I know it wasn't Michael Reisz.

Punimon: Kirk Thornton

Like with Agumon, keep it the same with Gabumon. Fun fact: Kirk Thornton did Gabumon for Frontier as well as Adventure.

Like before, can't imagine anyone else as Sora than Colleen.

Nyokimon: Cherami Leigh

I didn't exactly know if Tifanie Christun still did voice acting work, since her Wikipedia page shows anime and cartoons from the early 2000s and late 90s. So, Biyomon, along with Nyokimon and Yokomon, are voiced by Cherami Leigh, who you may know as: Lucy Heartfilia from Fairy Tale, Patty Thompson from Soul Eater, Sailor Venus from Viz Media's Sailor Moon, and Sarada Uchiha from Boruto. Melodee Spevack remains to voice the Digivolved forms.

I chose Robbie Daymond to be Joe since he already did him for tri. and Last Evolution. And sadly, Joe's original voice actor, Michael Lindsay, passed away in 2019.

I was going to have Doug Erholtz like from the original 02 do TK, but after watching Johnny Yong Bosch do TK in tri, as well as another famous role of Bosch's from anime, Lelouch vi Britannia, I decided to have him be TK's voice actor for this.

Miyako "Yolei" Inoue: Jeannie Tirado

Since Tifanie Christun did Yolei as well as Biyomon, and I'm not sure what she does these days, I decided to have Jeannie Tirado, who did Yolei for Last Evolution, do Yolei here. Plus, I've seen other work done with Tirado, and she has impressive voice work. She actually does Leila Malcal from Code Geass: Akito the Exiled, and she does a good foreign accent. Seriously, watch her do Leila, and then do Yolei in Last Evolution. You almost won't believe they share the same actress.

Pururumon: Steve Blum

Like with most of the other Digidestined, keep Cody's voice actress the same as before.

Armadillomon was little tougher since Robert Axelrod, who did all of Armadillomon's evolved forms (except the Armor forms which Tom Fahn did), passed away the same year as Michael Lindsay. Eventually, I decided on Laura Bailey for Tsubumon and Upamon, Bryce Papenbrook for Armadillomon and Ankylomon, and Roger Craig Smith for Shakkoumon and SlashAngemon. Laura Bailey is one of the best female voice actors for anime, I figured having Bryce Papenbrook would be a good trivute to his father Bob Papenbrook, who did several roles for Digimon before his passing in 2006, including Daemon from 02 and Jeri's father from Tamers. For roles that you may know these actors from:

Laura Bailey: Lust from Fullmetal Alchemist, Beastmon from Digimon Fusion, Chiba and Rakshata from Code Geass, Maka Albarn from Soul Eater, Mary Jane Watson from the 2018 Spider-Man video game, and Black Widow from various Marvel cartoons and video games.

Bryce Papenbrook: Masaomi Kida from Durarara, Eren Jaeger from Attack on Titan, Yo Shindo from My Hero Academia, Bearmon and Coronamon from Digimon Fusion, and Kirito Kirigaya from Sword Art Online.

Roger Craig Smith: Captain America in various Marvel projects, Guilford from Code Geass, Batman in Batman: Arkham Origins and Superman: Red Son, Deidara from Naruto Shippuden, Shinji Hirako from Bleach, and Sonic the Hedgehog from 2010 to 2020.

And those are the voice actors I chose for the Digidestined and their partners. Some of it's the same, and others have changed actors. Tell me whay you think, and I'll have the cast for the Tamers and their partners up in a few days. And like I said before, I will return to Adventure Tamers eventually. I at least want to finish up Digimon Adventure 2020, mostly because I want to see who else will be brought in, and if I'll put them in the story later on or not.

It's become one of my favorite fanfictions ever, and it got me into the masterpiece that is Code Geass. If you're looking for a great fanfiction, then I recommend Code Prime.
