Third Person POV
Zach was just a normal Thunder Macaw living in Florida doing his normal routine of flying.
Zach's POV
I overheard some poachers talking about taking birds to Rio de Janeiro to be sold. So, I did what no other bird would do. I stowed away on their plane to try and free the birds. I nearly succeeded when a very deformed white cockatoo stopped me. "What are you doing?!" I shouted trying to understand why a bird was trying to stop what I was doing. "What you think you can steal my score and get away with it?" The Cockatoo said.
"Well, when you put it that way," I said pushing him off me and opened the door. "Now I definitely want to," I said opening the rest of the cages and flying out. "I won't forget this," the cockatoo said. I rolled my eyes flying away. I landed at some giant statue. "Wow didn't know places could get better than Florida," I said taking in the view. "If you want a view this is the one place to go, amigo," said someone behind me obviously male.
I turned around and saw 2 toucans a male and a female. "I am Raphael, and this is my wife Eva," Raphael said. "I am Zach nice to meet you both," I said introducing myself. "So, you're from Florida, right?" asked Raphael. "Yeah, why?" I asked. "It's just always wanted to visit it is it nice?" Eva asked. "Yeah, it's almost as nice and this," I said. "Why have you come here?" asked Raphael.
-After explaining the situation-
"Man, you've been through a lot in such a short time," said Eva. "Yeah amigo, I know a place you can relax," said Raphael. "Yeah, thanks that would mean a lot of thanks," I said. "Follow me," said Raphael. I followed him to an alleyway where there was a place in which there were tons of birds dancing and singing to music. "Welcome to the Samba Club," Said a yellow canary wearing a bottle cap. "Hey Raphy who is this?" asked a red and grey cardinal. "Hey, guys this is Zach he's from Florida. Zach this is Nico and Pedro," said Raphael.
From then on, I have been hanging out with Nico and Pedro I sometimes even watch over the club while they go out. Of course, singing is not exactly something we just do in Florida, so I found a thing out back to record songs and play them in the club. I still do not know what everyone keeps talking about when they say carnival, so I just play along.
