Albedo's POV

It started out just like any nornal day. Finished my morning routine, I grabbed my tools and headed to Dragonspine. There were so many things yet to be revealed. When Klee found out, she insisted in coming along. Perhaps the thought of being able to "fish" without having to worry about Jean crossed her mind. However, I had no choice but to turn her down. It would be troublesome if all the snow ended up melting. As I awaited the result after pouring a special potion on one of the frozen plants, I noticed a black dot in the far West and it was moving though not much. I thought it was a Geo slime, but after reconsidering the possibility, that was unlikely. The color not to mention the size was way off. So I pushed myself up, dusted the snow off my knees and carefully snuck up behind it. Once I was close enough, I grabbed and pulled it up. At that moment, my eyes widened slightly. With snow sticking to its beautiful black fur, a cat was staring back at me.

"Are you lost, little one?" I started dusting the remain frost on it's body

The next thing I knew, one of my fingers was bit unmerciful. My gloves were made from a special material, nothing should be able to damage it. And yet, it's teeth were piercing into my flesh.

"Hmm, interesting."

While I was lost in thoughts, it escaped my grip and climbed up a nearby tree. After hissing at me, it did something quite odd. It started eating the snow.

"Hey, you're gonna upset your stomach!" I yelled out, but it ignored me and jumped on to another branch with thicker snow. I couldn't leave thing like that, so I approached it using my skill. It was a quick fellow. The moment it saw me, it immediately jumped over another tree. After nearly an hour of "cat and mouse" game, I finally got my hands on it again along with a few fresh scratches. Yet, just when I was about to jump down, I spotted a large group of monsters was heading this way.

"Why? There shouldn't be anything--" Then something flashed through my mind as I quickly gazed back at the plant bathed in my potion from earlier. Surprisingly, it had grown into a giant blossom and was giving off a quite disturbing aura. "Maybe I shouldn't have added the butterfly leaves." I sighed while putting the little one in my shirt and hugged it tight with my right hand. Meanwhile, I drawn my blade with my left hand.

"Try not to bite me."

And...
