1422,Domrémy,France.

The sound of the bells from the church echoed in the entire village while the sunset would be displayed in the horizon. In the periphery area of the village lived the Arc family. A family of good well known citizens. The population of Domrémy would always refer to them as a kind family, specially their daughter Jeanne D'arc who was famous for being a very gentle, pure, charming and religeous child. They talked like if she was a saint. Such a benignus kid and human. An angel of some sorts. The country girl always cheerful with an happy life by going to the church, playing with the other kids and helping her parents. It was almost every boys dream to marry her.

The own Jeanne was going home after another well day spent in her life of playing with the other kids and attending church. Now with the light of day coming to an end,it was time to help her mother do the dinner. Reaching to her house, she opened the door to see the image of her mother making the dinner with the smell of the food coming staight out of the pressure cooker.

"Welcome back dear. How was it your day?"

Greeted her mother. "Good. Thanks for asking mom. Do you want me to put the table?" Asked Jeanne smilling. "Sigh. Unfortunately not today sweetie. I want you to do another thing." Jeanne's mother said, showing concern in her face. "Oh...it's her again isn't it?" Jeanne's face was now in a state of dissapointment. "Yes. I am afraid that she's been into trouble again. Please go find her and take her back home." The mom pleaded to Jeanne. "Yes. Do not worry mother. I'll make sure she comes back safe." Jeanne said with confidence in her voice already leaving the house to search for her sister.

Despite of the Arc family being an family of very nice individuals of good reputation, there was a black sheep among them. A member of the family whose attitudes were a contrast of the respectable behaviors the Arc normally had. It was a girl with a reputation of being a big trouble maker, causing disturbence and chaos in the village, with the goal of getting entertained and having fun. She also had a rebellious nature. The people wondered, how such little devil could've been born in a family of good people? The most shocking fact was that she was the twin sister of Jeanne! It seemed like an ironic way of destiny, to make an angel and devil girl be twins. Some sort of Ying and Yang. Jeanne and her sister where two opposites of the same coin.

After some time of seeking,Jeanne found her sister in the ranch of some farmer. And it looks like she was in trouble, again. The men was holding her with his hand closing thightly in her clothes, not letting her go away from his grasp has she struggled. The farmer's face was one of absolute rage. Jeanne's sister could do nothing but smile at it despite the situation she was in.

"Now listen here you annoying brat! Tell me were did you hide my pigs and then maybe I'll reconsider of not teaching you a lesson right here and now!" The man screamed at the girls face. "Hahahahahaha. What's the problem? It's YOUR pigs,so you should be the one searching for them since you know them better." A smirk appeard in her face as she said that. "ALRIGHT!!! Since you probably weren't educated than I myself will do the job!" The farmer raised his hand to slap the girl in fury.

But Jeanne had arrived in the right time. "STOP!!!! Please Sir,stop! My family and I guarantee she will take the punishment she deserves for the trouble of today." Jeanne said, trying to calm down the men. "Hmph! Your family always says that when this little devil causes something. And yet here we are, with this brat being the same as usual." The grasp of his hand was begining to get loosened and the girl freed herself from him walking to Jeanne, now with an expression of boredom. "She's just a kid. Some can be troublesome like that. I assure you Sir, that when she grows up, her brat personality will be forever gone." A silence stood in the air as Jeanne finished the sentence. Then the men sighed, completely erasing out any trace of angriness. "Fine. But I want you two to help me find the pigs and still stay with me after we found them so that I can give a lecture to this kid here." The men appointed to Jeanne sister. "Ok Sir. We will gladely help you with that." Jeanne spoked with a understandable smile. "Phmph. You will help gladely. I'll just head back home. Have fun hunting pigs." Her sister whisperd to her. Jeanne imediately grabbed her hand and made pressure on it. "Heyheyhey, that hurts. I'll help too,ok?" Jeanne let go the pressure and her sister's hand smiling back at her. "Thank you for the cooperation Jalter." "Jeez. It could've been less painful you know?" Jalter criticized while massaging her hand.

Jalter pointed to the forest, showing were the pigs were hiding to Jeanne and the farmer. Reaching there they saw the pigs all fine and close to one another. The men was relieved and started heading to his pigs. "Ah. Thank goodness you're all okay." As the men was checking the pigs, Jalter quickly grabbed Jeanne's pulse "And this is the part were we run." She said very fast and low so the farmer couldn't hear. "Wait,wha-" Jeanne couldn't finish the line has she was pushed forward, running by Jalter's grasp on her pulse. After some four minutes of running, they slowed down near their home in order to catch air.

"Hehehehehe. That was fun. Don't you think Jean-" A sudden slap stoped Jalter's tongue of saying the rest. "Tomorrow we will come back to that men's ranch so that you can apologize to him." Jeanne said angery. "Hmphm. Make me." Jalter replied. "Then have fun starving tomorrow." "Oh wow! Jeanne D'Arc! The little angelic princess of Domrémy threatening her sister of starvation! What a shocking surprise!" Jeanne could only look at her with pity in her eyes. "Please stop it Jalter. You're only embarissing yourself." She said with a calm tone in her voice. "Like if there's anyone out here besides the two of us." Jalter said ,annoyed, as a clear reference that it was already the beggining of the night. "Rrgh. Why do you always have to be like that?! Why you can't at least pass a week without causing trouble or going to church with me and the family?!" Jeanne raised the voice a little bit, frustrated at her sister's lack of feeling sorry for what happened today. "Going to church? Hahahaha. That's a good one sis. Look, I could give less than a crap to go there spending hours standing up on my feet as the priest talks some nonsensical idiocy from a book for hours." Jalter said without remorse of what she just ended up saying to Jeanne. "Don't disrespect God and religion like that DO YOU HEAR ME?!" Jeanne cried with enough sound to wake up someone that was already sleeping at this hour. Jalter was stardled by the yell. She wasn't expecting Jeanne to yell at her. Hell, she didn't expect Jeanne to have the courage to do that at all! Jeanne then calmed down and looked to the ground, recollecting her thoughts.

Finally she raised her head and started walking to the house. "Let's go." Jeanne said firmly. But Jalter stood there just looking down. "Why are you always like this too?" "What?" Jeanne was confused. Jalter looked at her. Her face showing a confuse and angery expression at the same time. "Why are you always like this too? Why do you always have to behave like a saint who is always smilling happily and helping everyone who you encounter? Why people don't find it annoying like sometimes I do? Why it's okay to you have that personality but mine just upsests everyone in this village?! Why they just can't let me be the way I am but it's fine for you to be the way you are?!" Jalter had finally said it. She just nedeed to unburden all the weight she had through all this years since they were born. Jeanne could only feel sad for her sister now. "I think you know the reason for that." She said with sorrow. Tears started to drop form Jalter's eyes. "It's just...isn't fair." Jalter was trying her hardest to hide the tears from it. Jeanne slowly smiled and hugged her sister who clearly needed comfort.

"There, there. I'm sorry for yelling at you. What do you think about making peace here and now?" Jalter cleaned the tears from her cheeks, drawing a slight compassionate smile. "Yeah" She hugged Jeanne in return. "I'm also an idiot for putting you and the family in these kinds of situations. Sorry for that." Jalter admitted finally her wrong actions. "It's ok. We kinda of got used to it." Jeanne laughed a little bit."You're really funny, aren't you?" Jalter said a little bit annoyed but smiled afterwads, putting an arm over the shoulder of her sister. The two girls started heading to the house "So. What's for dinner?" "You know you're not going to eat tonight, right?" "Damn it! Well, can't say I didn't desearved it." "Hehehe. Don't worry. I'll make sure to give you some scraps of food." "Heh. Only someone as pure and idiot as you to do that. Thank you,Jeanne."

The years have passed and the two sisters have grown. Both Jeanne and Jalter were becoming prettier by each year. Jeanne still continued to be the lovable person she always been, even though rumours that she was earing voices became to appear. The majority of people that heard those rumours claimed that could only be God and his angels talking to her as a sign of her devotion for God and pure behaviour. Jalter on the other hand remained almost the same, only that her mischiefs were starting to be less frequent to the point no one expected more trobles from her. Jalter now spended the days helping her family, going to do something else or cause a little bit of trouble now and then, but nothing that compared to the ones she had done it years ago. Her rebellious personality remained however. Now the two had to choose in a near future who they wanted to marry for ever after and live a happy life. Unfortunately for the young men of the location, destiny had another plan for the Arc sisters.

1429

It was the middle of the night and the village of Domrémy was sleeping. Not even a single house had it's windows showing light from inside. The only light was the full moon, turning the place less darker. Every person and animal was sleeping and having their dreams that they always enjoyed. With the exception of a young lady at the Arc house. She wasn't dreaming but instead, ready to leave the village,in the name of the visions, dreams and voices she had during this last years. Jeanne D'Arc was ready to leave her house, family and friends for a greater good that God had in store for her. Her father's horse was waiting for her so that the journey could begin. It had been a hard choice at the start but her mind was made up. Jeanne would enter the French Army to help the country in the war. Just like what the voices were saying to her all that time ago. It was for this moment. Her whole life was made up for this. And yet,she would have trouble before the beggining of her journey.

"Were are you going? It's late already." A voice came behind her. Jeanne turned around to see Jalter with her bedtime clothes on. "Why are you fully dress up? Are you going to invade the curch or something?" Jalter added in a mocking way.

"Look Jalter. I think I don't have time to explain you." Jeanne said reluctantly turning her head from her sister. Jalter went to her quickly and grabbed her shoulder. "Hey what's all this change of mood suddenly huh? You can explain to me. It's something to do with the voices?" Jeanne then looked at Jalter with sadned eyes. "Sigh. Yes. It is about the voices and-" "Then let's go see a medic tomorrow ok? Hehehehe. You are kinda of an idiot sometimes. The medic store has an schedule dear sister." Jalter interrupted, smiling at what she tought was Jeanne's reason for being outside in the middle of the night. It was at this moment that Jeanne had to told her. She couldn't keep it secret any longer. She bit her lips and muster the courage to confess the truth to Jalter. "Jalter. The real motive...of why I'm here at night with clothes and the horse...is that I'm joining the French army." Jeanne said the last part with an extreme felling of pain burning inside her. Jalter only stared at her, trying to process what her sister just had said. "Pffffffffffff Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. That is a good one sis! Hahahahaha. I couldn't believe you could lie in such a fashion way! Let's be real. Is it a boyfriend or something?" Jeanne face didn't changed a bit from the moment she spoked the truth that Jalter viewd as an obvious lie. Her eyes were full of silent pain. Jalter noticed it. And her relaxed posture took a more serious one. "H-hey. Tell me it was really a joke, wasn't it?" Jalter said still with a smile but a nervous one this time. It was starting to fade away. "It's a joke,RIGHT?!" Jalter yelled the last part, now with serious concern and the smile gone. Worriedness could be seen in Jalter. Jeanne only close her eyes and nod in disagreement. What she said was true.

Jalter kneeled down in a state of denial taking her hands to her head. "Nononononononononono." Jeanne, worried for her sister, reached slowly to her. "Hey Jalter. I know it mus-" The sudden jump from Jalter grabbing and pushing Jeanne to the ground was followed by a enraged scream. "ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND!?!?!? Only a fucking fool would throw away their life like that!! Are you really a moron who wants to do that?! Besides, you're a woman! Someone like you and me entering the army is only a thought of some insane person!" Jalter was in rage for the allegations of Jeanne. It couldn't be possible. It was not possible. "Well. Then maybe...I am an insane person." Jeanne reunite all her strenght to free herself from Jalter's grasp. Having done it,she stood up looking at her sister with confidence in her eyes. " And as one, I shall do the task God and the voices gave me,to help France and the people who live in it." Jalter was having an abysmal feeling. "You...you really lost it. I think we really need to see the medic. This is not you Jeanne." Jeanne dissaproved right after. "No. This is me sister. This is what I was meant to be. Right here in my heart, I've always had the sensation that God was preparing me for this ever since the voices appeard."

"Do you really believe in what he says? I know you have a good habit of helping persons and being seen as a saint because of how good you are. But this, this went beyond the limits Jeanne. You really feel the need to help that much? Is some way of getting yourself feel better?" Jalter said with a huge sadness forming in her face. "I'm not doing this for my personal satisfaction. I'm doing it because I feel the need to help the people who's lives have been tarnished by the war. The voices said, that these people and kingdom, really need me. And I can't just stand here watching the people suffer knowing I can do better to help them." Jeanne explained calmly and with posture. "Even so, I want to see you entering the army. Like if they ever gonna let you in" Jalter smiled a little knowing that perhaps the fact of her sister being a woman wouldn't let her enter into the French army. Jeanne had no chance, she was sure about it. "I've already done it" Jeanne speaked in a stoic tone. "W-what!?" Jalter was in disbilief.

"A year ago I went to the neighboring village of Vaucouleurs to meet the captain of garrison Robert de Baudricourt to let me enter the army and having an escort to follow me all the way to Chinon were the dauphin Charles resides. It was hard at the beggining but in the end I convince him to let me in. This is the night were I'm supposed to meet up with him and start the journey." Jeanne said with all the stability in her voice, not cracking once, wich re established her will to go to the army. In contrast, Jalter was shivering in despair. This just wasn't true! Jalter didn't want to lose her sister. She loved her more than anything in this world. She was the only one who Jalter loved to spend time with. Losing her would be a low blow. And all becuase the supposed God told Jeanne to go to war.

Jeanne turned around, leaving a defeated Jalter behind in the ground. "Why are you always like that?!" This question made Jeanne stop in her way to the horse. "Always wanting to help people just because. Never thinking about your well being if that implies helping another. Behaving like a saint every damn time." Jalter let out a spit of anger with her last phrase. Jeanne took a deep breath and faced her sister. "It's just the way I am you know? I've finally found my reason for existing. It's to help and protect the people. This is me Jalter. And you can't change that. I'm destined to do it." Suddenly Jeanne walked to Jalter and kneeld down to her level. "But you know? Maybe you can also find your purpose in life. See what great things you can do to others." Jeanne reached her hand to Jalter,a warm smile appearing in her face. "Join with me Jalter. Maybe I alone don't have many chances. But with the two of us,we can definetly do it. Let's save this kingdom together, sister." But Jeanne's words didn't matter at that moment. To Jalter, she was just abandoning her and the family. "I may be bored of this boring life here in the village, but I'm not stupid enough to trow it away like that."

Jalter rejected Jeanne's hand and stood up herself. "Have fun being ridiculed and dying alone." Jalter crossed her arms and looked away. Jeanne watched in dissapointment but understanding the motive for why she was receiving the cold shoulder. A pain was starting to grow in Jeanne's eyes and throat. "Okay. Goodbye Jalter. Hope you have a good life ahead of you." Jeanne's voice was clearly unstable with signs she wanted to cry. Jalter still looked away, not wanting to see her sister's face. Deep down, she was suffering and droping tears everywhere. This moment was just painful.Jeanne went straight to the horse. As she climbed it and was getting away from home Jalter turned her head to see Jeanne going away and decided to shout something while tears were running in her face. "I'll never forgive you if you end up being a sex slave of some shitty noble DO YOU HEAR ME?!" Jeanne slowed down the horse. Tears were falling from her eyes. She was sacrificing everything she knew and loved to go protect the kingdom. She was trowing away her normal and happy life. It was just so painful.

"Y-YES!" She yelled back. "THEN GO YOU STUPID SAINT!! GO SAVE THIS COUNTRY!!" Jeanne didn't knew if Jalter was saying it to give her motivation or was just saying in a furious mocking way. Anyways,Jeanne speed up the horse and started to exit the village. Everything was now left behind. If she could, someday if successful, she would return here,as a hero and spend the rest of her time with Jalter and the family. Jalter was having a hard time sleeping that night. It was too much for her. The eyes still dry form all the crying. Eventually, she fell into sleep. A nice dream of her and Jeanne having fun as kids was the most comforting dream she ever had. Jalter would be waiting for her sister's return.

And the rest was history.

What could be the end of Jeanne D'arc was actually the rising of her tale as a legendary saint and warrior of France.

Some months have passed and news about the young brave women started to spread across the country. They related the story of her journey, the meeting with the soon to be king Charles VII and the most important one,the battle to recover Orleans, where she gained the nickname "Maid of Orleans". It is said that her presence was enough to encourage the french troops to win the battle. Even without any combat skills no one dared to question her lead and Jeanne remained very calm and disciplined while giving her orders. Her religious and patriotic devotion was enough to boost the soldiers moral.

The population celebrated in euphoria and excitement with a new flame in their hearts with the hopes to win the war against England. But it was in her hometown, Domrémy,were the happiness was incredibly huge. The village cheered and cried for the deeds of their beloved saint prodegy. They knew she was an angel, but this? This was a gift sent from God! Everytime the news came about Jeanne, the village would stop to hear it and smile. The Arc family were more proud of their daughter then they've could ever asked for. When she dissapeaerd in the night to start her journey, the family cried and the population was confused and sad on how such girl as Jeanne could do that? But now it made sense.

The day Jeanne returns, the village would throw a festival in her honour.

Jalter was also happy for her sister's success. A slight smile would appear as tears dropped from her face. She had done it. What seemed an impossible and even insane talk from a person was now reality. Jeanne was a hero. Jalter foundly kept the page's of the news in her room. She was extremely happy.

Well,in the beggining that is.

As time went by and more news about Jeanne came in,the citizens of Domrémy would start to see Jalter as a failed version of her twin. Almost everyday, someone would critizise Jalter for not doing a thing other than helping her family sometimes and hang around, compared to Jeanne who was saving France in the war. They would always say to her why she couldn't be more like her sister, why she would waste her time by giving the village's folk a headache everytime she caused trouble when younger. Even the young mens didn't want to have a love interest with Jalter, saying that she wasn't much of a deal compared to Jeanne. Inicially,Jalter didn't gave a single crap to it.

But slowly a wound was being made inside her. Thoughts of envy and jealousy emerged from Jalter's mind. She resisted, saying to herself that it wasn't true. She would never despise Jeanne. But the numbers of praise to her sister and criticism to her was becoming more and more common. Jalter was painfully losing her mind with all of this. It was always Jeanne. Jeanne. Jeanne. Jeanne. Jeanne. Jeanne.Oh! Dear Jeanne! And for Jalter only dissapointed and shameful looks. Why looking at her as if she was guilty of something? She wasn't! Why blame her for who she was?! She just wanted to be left alone and live quietly goddamnit!

Then a thunder hit Jalter's heart during a family dinner when, for Jalter's own mental stability, the family expressed "I can't wait for Jeanne's return. I know you're trying to do your best Jalter. But deep down, we whished you could be a little like her." Jalter abandoned the living room and without a word, went to her room locking herself inside. In the room, there it was. Right in front of Jalter's eyes, lying in the table, the paper news of Jeanne great deeds in Orleans. It was enough. The last drop of water. Jalter went into a mental breakdown. Screaming in rage, breaking and messing her room and ripping apart the pages she once kept it with good will.

She layed in the floor, sobbing because of her pathetic life. Seconds after, the sounds of sobbing were replaced by laughter. Jalter was now laughing at her pathetic life. A life she wouldn't had if Jalter accepted Jeanne offer to go to the French army with her. She was now reggreting it. And even then, the tought of coming with Jeanne,God would probably make Jalter be the one to die in the war while Jeanne would recieve all the glory. She was now believing in God. Even more reason to laugh. Jalter rememberd of Jeanne's talk that night. About purpose and all. It was that moment that Jalter maded up her mind. She was going away of this village. Go away from the people who mocked her. Find something to do in life. Her purpose. Without second thoughts, Jalter went away from home and the village in the middle of the night like Jeanne did. Except probably no one would miss her.

After half an hour of walking Jalter was exhausted. Far away from home, she wondered what to do next. It looked like the answer had come pretty fast. Right in front of her, a group of persons covered in coats appeard. All their faces were covered by the coat too. A mysterious aura was hovering in the air. Jalter maybe wasn't good with combat but was ready to throw punches at them if nedeed. Then the main person of the group went towards to Jalter. In a very morbid voice,he said: "Tell me. What do you think about demonology?" Jalter's face stood unaltered until a grin showed up. This was something that Jalter never thought to exist. But now she was proved wrong. A sudden excitment appeard in her heart. She would not refuse this choice like she did with Jeanne.

"Hehehe. Tell me more."

1432

Three years have passed since Jalter joined the devil's cult.

And it was the best thing she ever did. Jalter always had natural interest in demons since she was a child but of course it was forbidden to read books about demonology. It would be a very sinful act to do so. But that didn't stop Jalter from always having her fantasies, playing with demons and having a good time with it. She never told that to her family, even Jeanne. She knew they would probably try to exorcise her or whatever. Anyway, choosing this life was beautiful. The cult brought her to their hideout that was some miles away from Domrémy. It was underground with all kind of creepy and evil vibes. Jalter loved it. But the icing on the cake was when she discovered that it was possible to summon demons! It was her childhood dream turning into reality.

Another cool detail about the summonings is that it didn't required a sacrifice. Only a corrupted object that the cult would encounter in all of France and with the object, came the demon that would be submited to a contract of at least a whole day. For an entire day, they would become Jalter's pet for her to toy around. And Jalter made sure to utilize their potential to good use. Terrifying every village that was near their hideout. Specially Domrémy. Not only was the most closest village but it was the one that humiliated and rejected Jalter. She would make sure to make them regret for treating her so badly. Her playing with demons was so fun. It was like the mischiefs she did as a kid but funnier. Seeing the people's faces with fear and despair was so gratifying. Toying with them as revenge was a pleasure. A cruel and evil one,but a pleasure non the less. Now,the once happy village of Domrémy was one who lived in constent fear, always on alert for the next apparition of a demon.

And it wasn't the only one. Many others suffered in the hand of Jalter and her demons. Jalter would appear brifely in the villages getting spotted by some citizens before dissapearing in a blink of an eye,not letting them see her face. Later she would gain reputation for herself as the "Demon Witch". Such a brilliant nickname. Not only Jalter but also the cult was getting some recognizing. All the region were the cult's hideout was would get visits from them. Jalter enjoyed the cult too. They liked her for who she was. Everytime she would cause chaos in a village, they would compliment and praise Jalter instead of telling her that was bad and should recieve a punishment. She felt in home and gradually went higher in the ranks of the cult.

And speaking of punishments. Would she believe in God after all this expereince with demons? Hell not! If God really existed then she would have been punished three years ago. But here she was, having the time of her life. Away from those idiots who didn't loved her and would always compare Jalter to her good saint sister Jeanne...

Jeanne. Last time Jalter heard of her,she was leaving the army after she helped them win the war. A celebration and statue in Paris was made in her honour as well as a decoration for her by the king Charles VII. She was a living legend and hero. Now it was everyone's dream to meet her. "Maid of Orleans" was immortalized in everyone's memory and history books that would come in the future. Now Jeanne probably would come back to her hometown,Domrémy. Perhaps seeing her sister...

"Screw that!" Jalter yelled in her mind. It was Jeanne's fault for making her village dispise Jalter and not letting her be herself. It was because of Jeanne that Jalter suffered. Her success was Jalter's failure. Now the relationship with her sister was cold. Jalter didn't trully hate Jeanne but had some grudge against her.

Hurgh. Thinking of Jeanne was making her sick. She didn't felt like this in a long time. Better forget that. Jalter had a new day ahead of her, full of demons and people to scare. It was a special day, different from the others. Jalter would summon a different demon and this time was a powerful one! Her excitment was through the roof!

Reaching to the saloon the cult was waiting for her to the summon. The room's source of light were numerous candles and there was a huge satanic black circle in the ground. It was used for the rituals of summoning. One of the members approached Jalter and handed her the cursed artifact. "Jalter, after spending nearly three years with us and showing greater skills in demonology than any of us could ever reach,we grant to you a summoning to a high rank demon. We believe in your experience and skills to bring this demon to our realm." Jalter looked at the artifact has he explained. "Heh. Nice. This will truly be a party with this one here." Jalter smiled evilly.

She went to the middle of the circle and put the object there. Stepping out of the circle,Jalter was about to start the ritual. "Alright, let's do it."

"Jalter stop it right here and now!" A voice screamed inside the room. Jalter freezed for a moment, recognizing the voice."No. It can't be true." Slowly looking behind her,to the group of the cult members, everyone was staring to the one who said that. Taking out the cult's coat,it revealed to be the famous figure and recent legend of France, Jeanne D'Arc,with her soldier equipment. "Stop the ritual now before things get a dark turn!" Jeanne demanded with authority in her voice. "Y-you!? How did you knew about this local?!" Jalter asked perplexed. "A little bit of investigation and sensing the demon's aura that was strong in this area along with the rumours. You should have been more cautious about that." She pointed her flag to Jalter. Jalter's hair was now covering her eyes with an expression of defeat. But Jalter soon grinned. "What are you gonna do now? Kill all of us in the name of the Lord for summoning devils?" "Despite of your very sinful acts I will not grant you death. All of you shall be imprisioned for the crimes that were cast upon the innocent lives of many people. Perhaps even some of you can get pardon and get second chances. Is not to late to atone-" "HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA. Did you hear it right guys?" Jalter laughed in the face of Jeanne's words. Jeanne fears of her sister being the "Demon Witch" were confirmed. "Innocent lives? Hahaha. That's funny. Well,I dont know about you sister, but while you were getting salutations, compliments and statues I was walking through hell! Everyday,I had to put up with the same thing. Always being rememberd of how I am a bad copy of you! Being criticized because I existed as your shadow. Never getting the love and praise that you had while fighting. Never being my true self. The people who said it? The so called "innocent lives" by you. ...Even our family." Jeanne was in shock by Jalter's declaration. What happened to her sister? "Jalter,...I-" "What?! Are you surprised for knowing that not everyone is that innocent? Don't worry, you get used to it. Or not giving on how well you're treated." With that,Jalter made a sign with her hand to the other members to capture Jeanne.

They all jumped towards her. Jeanne was about to attack them with the flag but hesitated. That was enough for them to pin her down to the ground, not letting her go while Jeanne struggled. "Please, let me go! This is something that you will regret doing it!" Jeanne tried to warn the members but it was in vain. Jalter could only laugh at the weakness of her sister. "Wow! So much for the heroic Jeanne D'Arc. Can't even defend herself from a couple of persons. Looks like you are all bark and no bite." Jalter smugged. "Jalter you have to hear me! You are toying with fiends of Satan! Give up before it's too late for all of you!" Jeanne was now warning with an alarming tone, verry worried for her sister's safety. "So what? I've been summoning demons for the past three years sister. This one here is nearly nothing new for me." "Please,Jalter. I beg you." Jeanne's voice was clearly sad and in pain. She could not believe that Jalter was really doing this. She felt like crying right now.

Instead,Jeanne let out an angry question. "WHY DO YOU HAVE TO DO THIS?!" The scream echoed trough the room. Jalter stood backwards to Jeanne, silently. "Do you still remember that night? The one were you left? The reasons for being that you've finally had found the purpose in your life? That it was destiny? That God had showed you the way? Well, I sure remember it. As I remember of you saying that someday I will too find my purpose in life." Jeanne iris shrunk. "No...you're meaning that..." "Yes Jeanne." Jalter slowly turned her head to face Jeanne. "I've always been interested in demonology as a child. The thing is,it's forbidden to like it. I thought I couldn't have a chance to read the books about it." As Jalter talked, her face, would turn into something more and more devilish as Jeanne's face would turn more and more scared. "But then they appeard and my life started to make sense. I didn't felt like a shadow of someone anymore."Jeanne was in absolute horror! In her eyes, Jalter was becoming an absolute devil that only enjoyed others suffering. Jalter's face expressed the most devilish smile and face that could ever be muster. "Do you see it sister? This is my purpose. My destiny." Tears were running out of Jeanne's eyes. "Jalter...please..." She begged in such a weak voice. Jalter immediately disregard Jeanne's pleads and went back to the ritual.

"All of this talk almost made me forget about the demon. How about I summon him to show you my potential?" Jalter mockingly asked Jeanne that was internally defeated and didn't struggled anymore against the cult members. With that, the ritual began. As Jalter was reciting the ritual the room was turning darker and colder with every candle being extinguished. The aura was turning more and more tense and scarier. Some members were shivering a little. Jeanne could only feel pity for them for what was about to happen, specialy to Jalter. As the ritual was completed,Jalter opened her eyes and there he was. A big dark silhouette of a demon with spiky ears and horns. His red eyes staring into Jalter's soul. Despite of the negative climate,Jalter tried to do the contract. "Greetings, great demon of hell! It would be with great pleasure to offer you a-" Jalter's entire body shivered. Her gut feeling was telling that this was a bad idea. This demon, was clearly diffrent from the others. Looking in his face as the deadly silence stood by,Jalter knew, that she would die today. Suddenly,a smile appeard from the devil's face followed by screams of agony and pain. Taking a quick look at her back, Jalter saw every member of the cult being killed by the devil by some sort of black magic. Jalter was sweating in horror and fear. Jeanne was terrified too by the event. This was a full nightmare! Luckily, Jeanne didn't seemed to be affected by the demon's magic, perhaps for being incredibly devoted to God as a reason and could stand up by no longer having someone pining her down to the ground.

Despite the fear, she knew that she needed to stop this evil creature before it was too late. Jalter on the other hand was totally petrified in fear and despair. She couldn't move a single muscle. "Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck. I'm fucking dead right now! Why?! Why my body won't move damnit?!" Cursing was the only thing she could do. Looking paralyzed at the devil,Jalter saw him raising his giant her to kill her. As the arm went with high speed towards Jalter,Jeanne jumped beetween the two and stoped the blow with her flag that was now glowing brightly. "J-Jeanne?!" Jalter was now off of her paralysis. "Stand back Jalter! I'll handle this!" Jeanne was now confident with courage in both her eyes, not showing a single signal of fear. Jeanne ran to the middle of the circle were the cursed object was and it was clearly the bridge that connected the demon to the human realm. Avoiding the demon's blows,Jeanne reached there and with all her

strenght she stabed the object with her bright flag, proceeding in a violent shock were the devil's dark magic was starting to appear in Jeanne's skin. But the artifact wasn't destroyed yet. Jeanne had to continue to make pressure on it until it brokens. Jalter only watched amazed and shocked at the same time. "Stop you're idiot! You're going to die that way!" Jalter decided to ran towards Jeanns. But as she took the first steps, the object was broken apart witch led to a bright explosion in the room.

As the brightness wore off the devil started to vanish. But not before laughing in a deep and distorted voice. "Hehehehe. This sure was funny, humans." After the demon went away,Jalter stood up from the ground to only find her sister,Jeanne,in a bad state. "Jeanne!" Jalter went to her and crouched dawn to grab her. "Hey,Jeanne, are you ok? Hey! Speak with me!" Jeanne slowly opened her eyes and saw her own body. Black marks all over her body and blood coming out from her mouth and head. She knew it,her time had come.

"I should...have brought some help. Guess this...is what I get...for doing things alone hehehe *cough* *cough*." "Hey,hey, don't waste your breath like that. I'll find a way to resolve this curse and then-" "No Jalter." Jeanne said in her weak voice. "This is...the end for me." Jalter's hopes went down and pain occupied her heart. "N-no y-you can't say a thing like that!" Jalter said with a fragile voice. "I didn't call the army...because I was afraid...of what they could do with you." Jeanne was having difficulty to speak. "Even as a saint...or hero...I always had some fear. Before the battle of Orleans...I was afraid." Jalter was surprised by this declaration. "A part of me...told that this was suicide...that I should run like the coward I was...pretending to be what I wasn't. But...there was another part...that gave me the strenght...and courage to fight. It was the love...for you and the family Jalter." Tears were rolling from Jeanne's cheeks as her voice was turning weaker. But a smile appeard to assure Jalter to not be sad. Jalter was getting a pain from her throat. Tear were increasing from her eyes. "J-Jeanne. You moron..." Jeanne smiled at Jalter's insult. "I was never a saint. I...killed people...in the war. Killed people...with families and homes. For France...I may be a hero...but to others...I am only a glorified killer." Jalter couldn't believe what her sister was saying. "Do you regret the decision of going to the war?" Jeanne gave a deep breath. "Perhaps. I don't...fully know. But...there is only...one regret...that I had in life for sure." Jeanne looked at Jalter with the most happiest face she could make. "It was...not having you...with me during the war." Jalter gasped at Jeanne sentence. Tears dropped from her face."A dream...that I wished..." before finishing the phrase,Jeanne's voice dissapeard slowly as her eyes also closed slowly. A dead silence was the only thing left.

"Jeanne? Jeanne? Jeanne! Jeanne! JEANNE!" Jalter shaked her sister to see if she would answer. But nothing. Jeanne D'Arc,the Maid of Orleans, hero and saint of France, has died,at the age of 20,in her sister's arms. Jalter started to sobb uncontrolably before looking at the roof and letting out a frustrated scream.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! GOD PLEASE SAVE HER!!! SHE DIDN'T DESERVE THIS!!! SHE WHORSHIPED YOU AND FOLLOWED YOU ORDERS!!!! TAKE ME INSTEAD!!! SHE'S AN ANGEL WHO WAS BELOVED BY EVERYONE!!!! I AM ONLY A PIECE OF SHIT WHO DESERVES TO DIE!!!!" But it was of no use. Jalter in her mind realized how hypocrite she sounded. "You fucking fool! Spended a whole life not believing in his existence, three years summoning demons and terrorizing villages and now you're begging help to God?! Don't go shouting out whatever is covenient to you. Moron." This was enough to make Jalter believe that God was perhaps real. And this was her punishment for all the summonings she did. But why take Jeanne's life? Someone who was a loyal follower of him? Was this...a sick way of God getting laughs? By laughing at the tragedy of humans? Jalter was feeling like the greatest fool of all time. She felt like God was watching her now laughing and smilling at her suffering for thinking he wasn't real. With this,Jalter didn't care anymore. Her life just...didn't had more meaning.

Jalter didn't care about the insults, stones and rage that was being trown at her by the citizens of Domrémy when she appeard with the body of Jeanne right in the day were she was suposed to return. Every type of insult was being made. The Arc family, just didn't want to see Jalter's face anymore. In their eyes, she had killed their beloved daughter and France's hero. How could she be that cold hearted? Jalter was broken enough to simply not care for all of this. Her life was already shattered and smashed. They could call her everything. It didn't matter.

"Guys stop it! We can't kill her here!" An old man spoke to the angry mob. "The king should know about this tragedy and then, punish this monster for erasing our Jeanne and causing disturbence with creatures from hell. Are you with me?" The fist of the man was way lifted up in the air. Soon, everyone was doing the same. "YEAH!!" They screamed in union. And with that, Jalter was traveling to Paris to meet the king who was a big friend of her sister.

Reaching there and telling the death of Jeanne, put the king Charles VII, in anger and sadness for the lost of Jeanne being work of her 'dispicable' sister that was right in front of him. He slapped her, showing his fury but once again, Jalter didn't care anymore. Her sentence, was to be confined in prison and tortured for the atrocities she had commited in this past three years. The torture could be phisically or mentaly, Jalter was just gone from this reality. She very rarely speaked now, only wanting to be left alone to mourn her sister's death.

Some months later, her sentence was changed to public execution. The reaction from Jalter was a little smile. A little smile of relief for finally leaving this hell hole called Earth. The blames, insults and everything that was chasing her would stop. It was a bless in disguise from God...or Devil. Jalter knew there was no chance of her getting in heaven were her sister,Jeanne, was probably residing now. But dying to Jalter right now,was one of the best thing that could happen.

As she traveled trough her path to the large fireplace, the people, this time in Paris, would trow every insult that was known at that time to her. The ones, were they said Jalter shoud be ashamed for being an inferior version of Jeanne and that she killed her to gain popularity were the most common ones. Jalter at this point was acostumated to pain. Now it was time to end everything. Being chained to the large pillar of wood, while the soldiers ignited the fire was a pleasure to the public eyes.

She found it amusing on how her death made them happy. Guess she wasn't only a headache to the people after all. A hidden rage was hidden in Jalter's heart, wanting to be released at this instant to let all the fury at the people. But she wouldn't do it. Jalter knew the people had reasons to be mad at her. She was in no position to be angry at them. Would she pray to God instead in her final moments? No. Jalter only started to believe in him when Jeanne died, wich was some months ago, compared to her whole life of not believing in him. And praying to him now would only make her an hypocrite once again.

So,as her last act, Jalter looked upwards to the beautiful blue sky. The sun bathing her in its hot light. Jalter closed her eyes as the flames grew stronger and stronger. Then,in her mind, she said her last words. "Jeanne...If possible,I wish for us too meet again,in the afterlife." With that said, the flames consumed her. And everything went black.

Somewhere else in the future

"Man that was tough! Didn't even knew if we could get out of there alive."

"C'mon you. It was just some fodder enemies. If you can't even compete with that, better stay out of the battlefied."

"Jalter, Master is trying the best to fight here. Remember that Master is only a human."

"No problem Jeanne. Jalter is kinda right. I need to be stronger. I just can't be a statue made of glass for you to protect at all costs everytime. I need to look out for myself too."

"Hehehe. Glad to see your smile and confidence,Master. I know you can grow stronger."

"Of course I will Jeanne! Just you wait until I start to use some UFC moves. Well, time to go ahead now!"

"Damn, seeing Master's always happy attitude makes me weird."

"You get used to it Jalter."

"I sure hope so."

"Hey! You two! What are you waiting for? Let's move now!"

"Coming already Master!"

"Hey Jeanne."

"Huh?"

"I missed you so much. It's good too see you again."

"Hehe. Me too Jalter."
