First drabble of LN, bear with me, plz.

I'm Rossana's Mind. Nice to meet you.

For now, I'll stick with Drabbles and One-shots. I'm not ready to write a fanfic about this fandom yet.

DISCLAIMER: Little Nightmares does NOT belong to me nor this image I used for the portrait. Idk who the artist is, if you know, please tell me to give them the proper credit.

Decision

How many times he'd saved her and ended up in him being trapped forever? How many times he had to go through this betrayal all over again? Even if over the endless cycles he had lived he came to terms to his feelings and reflections to finally understand why she had hated him that time.

But that didn't change the fact that it didn't hurt less.

That didn't mean that her actions were justified.

He hated putting her above everything; the Thin Man wanted to save him; he wanted to save himself from the hell that would fall upon him. He cared too much.

She was his precious friend; the one that accepted him, didn't hate him…

But she hated him in the end, right?

He walked up the stairs.

He was so tired.

He heard that melody in his head; that melody that condemned them both, and he tended to hum in his past cycles.

He didn't want to be alone anymore.

He approached that door.

And he wanted to believe she was tired of this endless loop too.

And he opened it.

Nothing changed.

There was a weird light above, but didn't show much. There were some toys, some frames; things that didn't matter to him. The only object that mattered in this room was that music box big enough that reached his size (or so it seemed). He walked towards it, but then, he saw her emerging from the dark (as expected), corrupted, transformed into a monster, grabbing her precious music box and holding her into her disfigured hands.

Was this worth it?

"Hey…"

The monster, her, recognized his voice. She approached him with little steps, but they were big enough to reach him. This time, he didn't flinch. He glanced at the axe, but then he tried to look at her face. The low light didn't let him see much, but his friend's soft face was gone, replaced by one that represented her true nature.

He was no fool (not anymore, at least).

He knew she wasn't exactly a good child; yet, in this world, nothing was black and white. She didn't have reasons to be good, nor did he. Still, they kept doing this.

She was a monster; a beast that he did care about.

She presented him her music box, as her most important thing; her treasure.

And he was done.

He just sat, leaning his back against the music box, feeling the melody vibrating against it. She moved and tried to see his face, and he stared right back at her.

"I'm staying."

He learnt how to read her body language (countless cycles of studying her silent nature were worth it after all), and he knew she was surprised by his decision.

"We can stay as long as you want, forever if you want."

Or until she was ready and then they'd leave, he thought.

He didn't say anything anymore, he closed his eyes, finally realizing how tired he was. He felt her monstrous eyes on him, but he didn't care, and started to hum her favorite melody.

Until a few minutes (or not? He knew the tower's time was… different), he felt her relax and let out a weird sound between a growl and a groan, did she want to hum with him?

He miserable smile formed in his lips.

At least, he wasn't alone anymore.

So yeah, technically, I made Mono stay with Six in her monster or corrupted form. It's a curious concept, she being able to share her torment with someone, even if it wasn't in the best way, and he could be there for her, waiting until… they'd leave together… someday.

Anyway, I hope you guys liked it.
