'UGH!'

A boy with bright blonde hair wearing tattered orange clothes suddenly opens his eyes only to find himself lying on the ground inside a small dark room.

"Where am i?"

Sitting up after his eyes finally adjusted to his surroundings, the boy then started looking around to find some answers only to arrive in one conclusion.

"Does this mean i'm dead?"

And as if GOD was listening to his very question, he was answered by a soft voice.

"U-um..Excuse me."

"HUH!"

Taken by suprise of the sudden sound, the boy can only mutter one word before immediately turning his body to the person who said that.

Sitting across from him in the small space was a girl who was smiling.

After mentally kicking himself for being sneak up at, the boy then finally took in the appearance of the girl in front of him.

Long silver-white hair, with violet eyes and a heart-shaped face, the girl's appearance could be only compared to a priest with her particular clothing.

The girl's eyes gained a hint of sadness in them before saying.

"Hello, Uzumaki Naruto. Welcome to the world after life ends. I am the goddess who will guide you on your way, Eris."

Seeing the confusion on Naruto's face, the goddess continued with an almost apologetic look.

"There is no easy way to say this, but due to the massive injuries you sustained at the end of the war you sadly passed away."

As if a switch had been flipped, the memories of the fourth ninja war and his last fight with Sasuke began to rush in to Naruto's head.

"I see, i really did die."

Despite knowing that he was dead, Naruto felt strangely calm. Like he already knew that everything was going to be okay.

"Can I ask you something? How did everything turn out? What happened to Sasuke?"

Eris smiled, and Naruto immediately felt a sense of relief. The goddess radiated serenity, and it made him feel relaxed.

"The Fourth Great Shinobi War has indeed ended. After you and your friend undid the infinite tsukuyomi, Uchiha Sasuke sacrificed himself and revived all of the lives lost in the war."

"That bastard Sasuke actually sacrificed himself to revive everyone huh? i knew you had it in you Sasuke. i'm sure itachi would be proud of the decision you made. but wait, where is he?"

After Naruto asked that, Eris gained a sad expression.

"I'm sorry but sadly i dont know where he currently is, i was only allowed to watch him before he passed away too"

"Oh..., Nah it's ok don't worry about it. it's Sasuke we're talking about i'm sure he's fine wherever he is."

Naruto casually takes in the news about his soul brother. even though they didnt see each other eye to eye. what really matters was that they only wanted the same thing, although their paths was different from each other and it may have been the reason that caused them their very own lives. they both managed to achieved their goals. and that is to bring peace to the shinobi world and finally ending the vicious cycle of hatred that was plaguing between the uchiha and senju clan.

The only regret he had now was that he couldn't become hokage or see his friends again. but knowing them, they wouldn't want him feel down for too long.

'I will miss you guys, I'm sorry i couldn't be there to help you out, but I'm sure you'll all do your best to preserve the peace we finally achieved.'

Naruto thought with a short nod, he had no choice but to believe.

Deciding that he would place his faith in his 'friends,' Naruto leaned forward and smiled at the goddess in front of him.

"Alright so what now?"

Eris then straightened her posture, gaining a more professional look.

"Well then, I have a proposition for you. I hope that you will at least hear me out."

Naruto inched his head sideways and glanced at Eris suspiciously.

"Wait… Don't tell me that you're actually Kurama in disguise and is just trying to make a deal for my soul."

"W-what?!Of course not!"

Eris yelled and stamped a foot, her ears burning red in frustration.

"Hahaha! Sorry, I was just kidding!"

Naruto said and held his now aching stomach. He understood the situation he was in, but there was something about this goddess that made him want to tease her.

"Tease a goddess, and you will receive divine retribution…"

Eris muttered with puffy cheeks.

"Sorry couldn't help myself. It won't happen again."

Naruto says after calling down. wiping his tears for laughing so hard at the goddess expression. only then after suddenly realizing that the fox isn't with him anymore. he then turned to Eris, and ask the urgent quesion that was now bothering him.

"Before we continue though. can i ask what happened to the tailed beasts and Kurama after we undid the infinite tsukuyomi?."

"Why of course, after the tailed beasts was freed from their prison. they then went to find you. only to see your dead body that was surronded by the shinobi alliance visibly saddened by it. but suprisingly the Nine Tails made a promise to all the shinobi that have gathered there. that all of the tailed beasts would ensure the peace that you achieved after sacrificing your own life would last forever. after saying that they then all went separate ways enjoying their freedom while roaming the elemental nations."

'Thank you Kurama'

Satisfied with her answer he then finally asks.

"I'm sorry for interrupting Eris. so what's the proposition?"

Suspicion still evident in her eyes, Eris summoned a piece of paper out of thin air.

"In another dimension than your own, exists a world that is threatened by a demon king. Because of the demon king's attacks, fewer and fewer people want to be reincarnated into this world. To solve this problem, a plan was issued to ask people from other worlds who still yearn to live to reincarnate into this world in response to the declining population."

"I don't really get the dimensional talk, but you basically want me to go there and kick this demon king's ass?"

Naruto asked, and Eris nodded.

"Yes. Should you accept, you would not only keep your memories and physical abilities, but you won't have any chakra as it is an energy source only found in your dimension. so to compensate for this. you would be granted a divine relic of your choosing. An ability, or a weapon with god-like power."

"That's okay! All I need are my two fists! but having a weapon does sound cool though. i mean Sasuke had a sword so why can't i have one."

Naruto claimed with confidence at first only to then start to drabble about not having his own weapon at the end of his sentence.

"Are you sure there isn't anything you wish to bring?"

Eris asked with a smile.

Naruto tilted his head in confusion. thinking of what to bring, seeing as he really doesn't want anything. he was kind of content.

As was Naruto thinking his thoughts slowly drifted to his old partner Kurama. making him think that he could summon the fox with him to his new adventure thinking he would be a really great company all together but ultimately decided agaisnt it. seeing as the fox was already free from his prison, Naruto didn't want him to be locked up inside him again.

"Umm to be honest i can't think of anything i want. so i guess I would just bring a weapon to this new world."

Naruto says after considerful thinking.

Eris just deadpans at his answer.

"Are you really sure?"

"Yup"

Not really convinced by the answer Eris just gave up and decided to just grant his wish.

And then suddenly a blue light shine very brightly in front of them. the light to dim only to then compress its size. forming into a shape he could recognize anywhere.

'a katana?'

As did blue light in front of him dissappear. there in it's place floating is indeed a katana.

The sword's design could only be describe as a masterpiece. starting from the white blade that seems to pulsate with power. the handle has a traditional gold wrapping, with black ornaments, along with the guard that has octagonal dragon pattern inside.

"Whoa..."

Taking hold of the floating sword, Eris started to explain about its origins.

"This sword is named Yamato. wielded by a very powerful invidual. it has been a heirloom to a family of devils that had protected humanity for generations. Sadly we cannot bring the real thing as we can only copy it. but don't worry though even if its only a copy its capabilities are the same as the real thing. not only that it also has the past user's memory and experience stored into itself making it easy to use."

As she finished explaining. she then walked towards him.

"This is my gift to you."

After accepting the weapon that the goddess gave him. did he only felt the power it held within. it was like a raging storm that cannot be quelled or a whirlwind that could destroy anything in its path.

"Thank you"

Eris nods her head and after stepping back a little she suddenly snapped her fingers.

Then, to Naruto's surprise, a brilliant light shined down on him, and he felt a sense of weightlessness as he began to ascend into the heavens(literally).

As Naruto was filled with excitement, he heard Eris' voice from below.

"Of course, there is a small chance that your existence could be altered a little while transporting to the new world. But as the goddess of luck, I can safely say that the odds are in your favor.

"Good luck!"

"WHAT!? you gotta be kidding me"

Eris merely stuck her tongue out playfully, and Naruto realized that she must have been getting back at him for teasing her earlier.

A small smile on his face, Naruto just shakes his head to the goddess until his vision eventually faded to black.

Uzumaki Naruto's next adventure had begun!

This is my first story so i hope i didn't disappoint too much.

My grammar isn't perfect so i hope to improve while writing this story.

I started adding hints of what will happen to Naruto now that he doesn't have any chakra.

he will still be overpowered although with different abilities.
