Leaf's Sick Day
Summary
When Leaf comes down with a fever one morning, Red, along with two strangers work together to help Leaf recover. And while taking care of his sick friend, Red only has one question on his mind. Can he survive a whole day with three sassy and snarky girls?

This is just a small one-shot that I decided to write a few years ago, and I finally decided to publish it for you all to enjoy. Now, without further ado, let's take flight.
Helping A Friend
I curled further into my sleeping bag as I tried to stop shivering, my throat felt dry and I felt hot but I was also freezing cold. I instantly felt pain flair up in my body. I winced and closed my eyes to try and calm my now pounding head. It felt like something in me was shifting.
'What is wrong with me? What's my name? Where am I?' These questions were racing through my mind. I then lifted my head and opened my eye so that I could get a better look at my surroundings.
I groaned and put my hands on my head, witch was now pounding like someone had just hit me repeatedly with a hammer. I let out a painful whimper, I felt like I could start crying. I was finally able to fall asleep just before the sun rose into the sky.
"Hay, Leaf? Leaf... come on wake up." I let out a small groan as I opened my eyes, I had to blink a few times because my vision was blurry.
"R-Red? W-what is it?" I tried to curl up into a ball but Red lifted my head upwards, I blush a deep red as I tried to speak but I ended up coughing instead. I wimped as tears burned in my eyes.
"Your friend is sick! Can't you tell?" A sudden voice spoke causing Red to turn as I lifted my head from the ground.
"Who are you?" Red asked as the person pulled her cloak down to reveal a girl with sapphire blue eyes and dark blond hair, she was garbed in a forest green tunic and she had forest green boots, and in her hair was a forest green headband.
"Princess? What are we doing?" Another voice spoke up, as a small imp appeared out of the girls shadow.
"Well... Midna, we're going to help this sick girl. Ohh and by the way my name is Lynkura. And this is Midna." I blinked up at the girl with fever glazed eyes. Red still looked suspicious... well at least I think he did. I closed my eyes once more as sleep took me into it's warm embrace. Lynkura walked over to me as she felt my forehead.
"Hay Midna? Can you grab one of the red potion and a green potion for the girl, um... excuse me? What's the girls nam?" I opened my eyes a small hint as I spoke hoarsely.
"M-my n-name I-is L-Leaf and that dense idiot over t-there is R-Red." I studded out, as I broke into a coughing fit. The girl felt my forehead, and she turned to the Imp and asked another question.
"Hay, Midna, while I give her the potions can you go get this cloth wet with water?" The imp nodded as she hurried off.
I awoke a few hours later, I felt something cold on my head as I slowly opened my eyes.
"Well you seem to be feeling a little better... how are you feeling Leaf?" Lynkura asked, as I looked up at her with wide green eyes. I sat up and tucked my feet underneath of me, the cold rag fell into my lap causing me to yelp as Lynkura smiled.
"Leaf! You're finally awake, how do you feel?" I turned to see Red walking over. I grinned impishly as I responded.
"Fine, no need to worry!" I remarked with a shrug as I pulled out a hairbrush from my bag.
"Who knew girls could be so sassy after being sick!" I playfully stuck my tunge out at Red while Lynkura and Midna turned away in mock anger. I giggled softly as Red just glared at me.
"Was that meant to be an insalubrious? Or are you just saying it." Lynkura remarked with a raised eyebrow and an impish grin.
