The Life of Harrison Addams
Authors Note: Alright my Darlings I have finally managed to make it happen! The FIRST chapter! The rest of the story is loosely plotted as well so, hopefully, it will be easier to continue than it was to start. I really don't want to mess this one up, I love the Addams family so much! That being said, I cannot guarantee how quickly this will be updated. Those of you who are on my Facebook page know how long it took just to get going! I hope that you all enjoy this, and if you have any ideas or requests for the story let me know, they may just make it in!
Reminder: I have decided to switch my Facebook page into a Facebook profile for ease of use so that I will actually be able to use it and interact! Come friend me on Facebook at Ashton Mason (My pseudonym), or at Facebook dot com /Ashton. mason .5686

Chapter 1: An Unorthodox Adoption
The night was a particularly lovely and dismal thing. The temperature cold and biting as a gentle mist swirled in joyful eddies around their feet as they made their way down the midnight pavement.
"Oh, Gomez," Morticia purred as she nuzzled her head against his shoulder.
"Are you happy my darling?" He asked as he wound his arm around her waist tighter.
"Perfectly miserable," She sighed happily as they continued to make their way through the streets of Private Drive. How odd to have every house and yard be exactly the same as the others. How... Dull.
Yet here they were, so very happy despite being surrounded by the utter normalcy of their surroundings.
"What was that?" Gomez muttered to himself as he drew them to a halt, his head tilted as he listened. Morticia waited patiently as she too cast her attention out to the area around them, it had been years since the last time a mob had chased them from a town yet it never hurt to be prepared just in case.
The wind blew bitterly once more, strong enough that it nearly cleared the soft veil of fog completely, forcing it to retreat and cling to the edges of buildings and shrubs until it could take over the street once more.
"There it is again!" Gomez said excitedly as he hurried down the street, eager to solve this new riddle that had presented itself. As they drew closer Morticia began to hear it as well.
A gentle coo accompanied a soft shuffling noise, a pitiful mewl, and a sniffle.
With a gasp of horror and shared glances of shock, the two hurried quicker down the street and across one of the many identical yards, this one different only due to the presence of a small basket.
"You poor thing," Morticia cooed as she scooped the small child into her arms, large emerald eyes staring at her curiously from below thick soot-colored eyelashes, a mess of raven locks obscuring much of the remainder of his face. "Oh Gomez, we should take him home, this is no way to treat a child!" She said as the child burrowed down against her.
"I agree that this is not how to care for a child my Darling but look," Gomez said as he bent down and picked up a folded sheet of paper that had fallen into the basket, shaking the paper open Gomez began to read it out loud, "Petunia, your sister, and her husband were murdered earlier this night, only their son Harry survived. It is not safe for him here, you must take him in and keep him safe until he is of age to attend the school. Should you take him in special protections will be granted to you. Albus Dumbledore. That poor child," he sighed as he refolded the letter once more.
"Albus Dumbledore? Isn't that the man in charge of the magic school here? The one your mother wanted to put a curse on?" Morticia wondered as she absentmindedly rocked the small babe.
"I do believe so, perhaps she should have if this is what he views as acceptable. Where is the honor?" Her beloved's face contorted briefly in rage before he sighed once more, shoulders slumping in desolation. "Regardless, we should wake them, if they are his family they should at least have the opportunity to claim the child."
"And if they do not want him?" Morticia asked in feigned nonchalance.
"Then our family will grow!" Gomez grinned as he pushed the button for the doorbell.
The thundering sound of footsteps and angry muttering were the first things that Gomez heard once the shrill ring of the 'melodic' doorbell had finally faded into the night. Honestly, why did people prefer that irksome chime over the heavy countenance of a metal door knocker? It truly was beyond him.
As the steps drew closer Gomez had the idle thought of a small herd of buffalo charging down a hallway, just what was it that was coming to the door? Lurch himself stood around seven feet tall, eight when the old boy was angry! Yet Lurch still managed to move near silently.
As the steps finally hit the landing before the door Gomez drew himself up and put on the suavest and most dashing smile that he could. Just because he enjoyed the night did not mean that others did after all.
The door swung open harshly, the glass pane at the top wiggling fearfully as a rather large man with a rather red face sneered at him from inside the doorway.
"What the blue blazes do you think you're doing you freak!? My family and I are trying to sleep like good normal people do! Now you have ten seconds to tell me what you want and leave or I'll get my rifle and blast you back to whatever crypt you crawled from!"
"Now see here old boy," Gomez said as he angled himself between the brute and his beloved, hiding the child from his gaze. He would not leave the boy here, not now. Gomez may take pleasure in torture but by Jove, it was always consensual! The boy would not be safe with this man, Gomez could see it in his eyes.
"Don't you 'old boy' me you crackpot! Get off my property! Leave! Now!"
And leave they did, going back to one of the any Addams ancestral homes that they were vacationing at, with their new some safely at hand.
Wednesday stared curiously down at the small bundle that her mother held. According to mother and father, they had not been with child but had instead found the babe abandoned on the doorstep of a truly wretched household and, if the letter that had been left with him were true, the child's own parents had just been murdered as well.
What a horrific beginning to one's life.
Wednesday was jealous.
She had not been abandoned, nor her parents murdered, possibly even before her. No, she had been born to loving and nurturing parents who doted upon she and her younger brother. This child was so lucky.
Wednesday could feel the beginning vestiges of anger brewing within her as she continued to gaze at the slumbering child, the start of a beautiful and vicious rivalry the likes of which she had never felt before. Yes, Pugsley could be considered her rival as well but he was... Different. Pugsley took after uncle Fester to such an extent that at times father wondered if Pugsley were his brother's reincarnated soul come to seek vengeance. No, this child was a blank slate from all things Addams and Wednesday would-
He had really green eyes! Like large emeralds that looked at you and peered into your soul ensnaring you to his whim!
Oh, Wednesday was sure of it now. Her one true rival had finally come.
May Lucifer himself help whomsoever should hurt the boy but her!
Authors Note: And there you have it my lovelies! If my planning stays the same then the next chapter will encompass Harry's childhood and then we get to Hogwarts!
Sidenote- Wednesday is 6, Pugsley 4, and Harry 1 here.
~!*Happy Reading*!~
