I am not caught up in the Manga but I'm on season 5 of the anime. Eventually I'll probably pick up the Manga.

Enjoy. Or don't. Whatever.

This story begins right as the Sports Festival starts.

I thought I had overcome my anger...

Thought I had come to terms with my hate.

Thought that I had come to an understanding with my darker side. Had even thought I had accepted it. But for all of the positives in my life, the negatives only seemed to continue piling on.

Like an ever flowing river, the anger, the hate, and the unfairness of life seemed to wash over me. Smothering me and drowning me until I could no longer breath.

It wasn't until I accepted the feelings and prejudices I harbored against Konoha and its people that I truly became strong. I overcame every obstacle that was thrown my way.

Triumphing against renowned Shinobi that could topple Major Villages by themselves. Beating and even saving the strongest Jinchuuriki and their Bijuu as they rampaged through the Shinobi Alliance.

Silenced the man who was responsible for the passing of my mother and father. Annihilated the mad man that had orchestrated this catastrophe known as the 4th Shinobi War. And even managed to cripple and seal away the Goddess that had planned this lunacy alongside my team and supposed friend.

'What else could possibly go wrong?' I questioned myself.

'I saved the world!' I said, fists raised to the sky with a winning smile.

Until I was betrayed by the man I called my brother. The very same man that I had spent countless years idolizing and mimicking, hopelessly following and learning from.

The same brother that had saved me multiple times when we were fledgling Genin. The same man that then proceeded to cripple me and betray our home. The very same man that I promised to Sakura that I'd bring back...

Sasuke Uchiha.

He spat on our victory. Spearing me from behind while Kurama rested from the 3 days of constant fighting. My body and mind had been heavily fatigued from the war. Revelations I hadn't known of plagued my mind and the memories of killing men and women I had changed for the better scarred me.

Zabuza and Haku...

Itachi Uchiha...

Nagato Uzumaki...

Konan...

Shinobi I had fought against and admired. Shinobi that I respected despite the negative altercations I had with them.

And Sasuke spit on their sacrifice. Spit on the graves of men and woman who were his betters.

All for his own selfish desires and goals.

I had thought that I overcame my hate.

Thought that I had accepted it...

But...

I guess, at the end of the day, I was nothing but a liar...

I hate Sasuke.

And when the day comes that I shall pass from this mortal realm... I will travel directly to hell to kill him.

And that is a promise.

And I never go back on a promise.

"Reports of the Vigilante-turned-Villain, Menma, have resurfaced after nearly 6 months of silence following the tragedy known as 'The Tokyo Incident'. Police have indeed confirmed that the massacre that happened late last night in Hosu City was indeed caused by the notorious criminal."

"The aftermath of destruction and chaos left behind by this notorious man will be a day remembered by all citizens and pro heros alike who lost their lives to this vicious act of brutality. If you come across this individual, please contact your local authorities and Pro Hero Agencies."

"Avoid any and all contact with the man known as Menma. Pro Heros who are aiming to take down this notorious Villain should proceed with caution and-"

The News Report focusing on the Villain was silenced as several men in matching business suits were seen seated in a large conference room, silently watching the News Report on the latest tragedy that surfaced revolving around the Villain known as Menma.

The silence was eventually broken as a brown haired man with glasses spoke up. "This is now becoming a Nationwide problem... Six months ago, a Vigilante known simply as 'Menma' surfaced in Tokyo. Crime lowered and Villain activity seemed to be at an all time low. With All Might decreasing his actions on the field, many saw this man as the second coming of the Symbol of Peace regardless if he was a Vigilante or not."

The spectacled man released a heavy sigh before pushing his glasses up and rubbing his eyes. "Citizens and conservative Political Figures saw this man and his actions as a blessing. 'Menma' had no issues dealing with Villains... But we're all aware of why the Hero Agency exists in the first place. Deserved or not, we as a society and as the common people do not dictate and determine how the legal system handles its Villains and criminals."

"Menma was operating illegally and as such, had to be treated as a liability and as a criminal. All Hero Work done without a Hero License is strictly forbidden... We all know this and Heros and Villains alike are aware of this."

The man proceeded to reach towards the table, grasping a T.V remote before pointing it at the large flat screen television in the room. The lights in the room dimmed dramatically revealing the man known as 'Menma'.

The man was quite tall and possessed a rather slim figure. His shoulders were fairly broad and ebony, spikey hair framed the top of his head. A unique black Haori sat atop his body and designed along the fabric were several red clouds outlined in white.

Menma's face was obstructed by a unique looking mask that resembled a fox. Several designs were etched into the porcelain material but other than the crimson paint of the designs, it was rather bland, like a mask that you'd buy at a festival.

The only other distinctive traits about the man were his painted fingernails and the odd outfit he wore underneath the black Haori.

The men seated at the table heard a quiet clicking noise. Their attention turnes towards the man wearing glasses. He placed the object on the table as the picture changed, revealing another picture of the man without the black Haori.

Menma was seen seated atop a rather large building with his hands on his knees, staring down at the city with a tilted head. His outfit was almost military-like in appearance. He wore a black Flak Jacket that lacked sleeves over a form fitting black, long sleeved shirt. On his feet were a unique pair of black sandals that revealed his heels and toes.

"These two pictures are the only known images of Menma. He has managed to evade any and all forms of capture on top of crippling and injuring any and all individuals sent to apprehend him... It wasn't until the 'Tokyo Incident' that blood began to shed... Menma had been relatively tame when dealing with Heros and Police who were sent to arrest him before that."

"At most, the man would incapacitate the Heros with minor broken bones and the odd concussion thrown in every once in a while. For several months this game of cat and mouse would go on. Menma would appear, Villains would die, Heros would arrive, get crippled and knocked unconscious, and then he'd disappear."

The bespectacled man went quiet for a few moments as he placed his elbows on the table, intertwining his fingers and resting them against his nose.

"The 'Tokyo Incident' changed that..." His tone trailed off as an uncomfortable silence reigned in the room. "To this day, details about the incident were kept under wraps and information revolving around it were hidden from the public. Nearly 10 Pro Heros and 15 known Villains were slaughtered in broad daylight on top of the three dozen innocent bystanders that fell victim to the Vigilante and his rampage..."

"That is not even including the amount of collateral damage that affected the city and the hundreds of civilians and other heros who were heavily injured and crippled. The Tokyo Incident has now been named the single greatest tragedy to affect the world since the appearance of quirks, orchestrated by an individual who has a quirk."

Another man sighed heavily, this one possessing black hair with a small mole beneath his left eye. "And the deaths seem to only keep piling up. Heros, Villains, innocents... It doesn't seem to matter to this man. Nearly a dozen Police Agencies worked side by side with multiple Pro Heros and their agencies and we still have yet to locate this man... Something must be done."

Another man spoke up, this one being a rather young man with a short hair cut. "Why has All Might not been used to help solve this issue?" He questioned with furrowed brows.

There was a heavy silence following the man's question and it only made the entire situation more uncomfortable.

"You are relatively young and fresh..." The bespectacled man who had spoken first finally deigned to respond. "This information is highly classified and the only reason it is being spoken at this very moment is because the situation is dire..." The brown haired man inhaled deeply before staring at the younger man and speaking in a hardened tone.

"All Might is no longer the true Symbol of Peace. He has been weakening for several years now and his state is only deteriorating with each and every day that passes... The HPSC decided years ago that this information be held from the public eye and that All Might was to slowly step down from the public eye and only show himself should the need arise. As of right now, the HPSC does not wish to further weaken the Symbol of Peace... But it appears that we no longer have a choice in the matter."

"After this most recent incident regarding Menma and his actions... We can only hope that All Might has the ability to put an end to this... Once and for all."

"Oi... Shigaraki."

The blue haired man known as Shigaraki turned slightly to his left, beady red eyes focusing on the man who called his name. Even though his vision was obscured by the single hand attached to his face he had no issue looking at the masked man.

"What?" He replied in a low, monotonous voice, four fingers resting in the mahogany bar table that belonged to his Second in Command, Kurogiri.

"When are we going after the Hero Killer?" The masked man asked in a low baritone, seemingly in a bored manner.

Before the messy haired man could reply to the question, a young woman spoke up in an excited manner beside the masked man.

"Neh Neh, Menma-kun~!" The blonde haired teen addressed her masked companion, turning towards him with a toothy grin. "Can I cut him?! I want to taste Mr. Stainy's blood!" To emphasize her point, the shorter blonde proceeded to wave around a surgeon's blade, cutting the air and mimicking stabs.

The now-named Menma glanced towards his shorter companion before gently grasping her by her head and putting her into a gentle headlock.

"Calm down Toga..." He responded softly, ignoring the blade that was digging harmlessly, or rather uselessly, into his ribs. "There's no need to rush."

The psychotic blonde teen struggled for several more seconds before responding. "I wanna be like him! Just let me at him! I'll cut him up real good!"

"You'll get your chance eventually." Menma responded lazily, lightly jostling the girl as she continued to thrash at his side.

Shigaraki stared at the two companions for a few more moments before turning back towards the T.V that was broadcasting Menma's latest attack.

"Soon..." Was all he said.

Toga, finally freeing herself from the clutches of her favorite 'love', bounced on the balls of her heels. "Yaaaaaaay~! And then I get to cut him, right? Right?!"

"No." Shigaraki answered without looking at the girl.

Toga was about to reply before being cut off by the man's Second in Command. "We need Stain. His expertise and experience will better shape our group."

Menma, who had returned to his seat after letting go of his stab-happy companion, responded to Kurogiri with his arms crossed. "Do we really though?" He gestured with his head towards the T.V screen that was covering his most recent attack. "Am I not enough publicity?"

This statement seemed to annoy Shigaraki, evident by the way his left hand rose for his neck, fingers slowly itching at the exposed skin.

"You kill heros and villains indiscriminately..." He responded in an irritated manner.

The black haired man glanced towards the leader of the League of Villains before staring at the man with a tilted head.

Both men continued to stare at one another for several long seconds, producing a thick and heavy tension. Their stare-off continued for another minute before Menma abruptly rose to his feet, nearly startling Kurogiri and Toga.

"True..." Menma responded quietly, head tilting in the opposite direction. He went quiet for a moment before shrugging his shoulders lazily. "I'll be heading out. You know where to find me..." He turned towards the exit of the bar before gesturing towards his blonde companion. "Come on, Toga."

The psychotic teen grinned widely, exposing her enlarged canines. "Haaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiii~!" She skipped after her black haired friend before turning towards Shigaraki and Kurogiri and waving. "Shiggy! Kuro! Bye, bye~!"

Kurogiri offered the girl a simple wave while Shigaraki just stared at her retreating form. The two individuals proceeded through the door, disappearing down the hall and exiting the bar.

"I dislike them..." Shigaraki immediately spoke aloud, fingers finally leaving his neck.

The mist/fog Nomu glanced towards his charge before speaking. "You do not have to like them Tomura but it is in our best interest to keep them. More specifically, Menma. He is a valuable asset." The bartender glanced towards the T.V, idly drying one of the many glasses in his establishment. "His goals may be questionable but I do believe that he genuinely wishes to bring down Hero Society..."

The Decay Quirk user was silent for a moment before turning his attention to the T.V that Kurogiri was focusing on. "He kills more than just heros Kurogiri... You're being foolish."

"Who's to say that the villains he's killed would have shared our philosophy and goals. Not every Villain sees the world as we do nor does every Hero, Tomura."

Shigaraki grunted quietly before standing to his feet and slowly making his way out of the bar. Kurogiri watched his young charge exit the bar without saying a word.

"Will Menma's reign of terror continue or will someone finally put an end to this menace?"

Kurogiri's attention strayed back towards the TV before he set the dried glass on the bar.

"Who indeed?"

"Ahh... I hope Iida's brother is okay in Hosu City..." A young man with messy, green hair clad in an academy uniform stated quietly to himself as he stared at his phone, thumb slowly scrolling upwards as he read the latest News Report about the infamous Villain named Menma. "This guy... He's dangerous..."

The teen's attention was focused purely on his phone and due to this, he was unable to avoid the direct collision he made with a wall. He was quite literally stopped dead in his tracks before being forced to catch himself so that he wouldn't injure the back of his head.

"Agh!" He grunted quietly from his position on the ground. The green haired teen rubbed his forehead for a moment before tilting his head upwards, looking at the wall he had collided with.

Only to find out that said wall wasn't actually a wall.

It was a man.

A very tall man... Well, not as tall as All Might but taller than him atleast. He himself was pretty average for his age but this guy didn't look that much older than him.

And were those... Whiskers on his face? Did he have some kind of quirk related to a cat? Did he have a tail too? Enhanced smell?

The possibilities!

"Oi... You should be more careful, kid." The taller man spoke, head tilted downwards to stare at the kid that bumped into him. "You could hurt yourself."

Izuku blinked at the hand that was lazily stretched out towards his face before slowly reaching for it and grasping the stranger's hand. Upon grabbing the man's hand he was surprised to feel how rough and calloused the man's palms were.

"You're staring."

Izuku jumped nervously before frantically waving his hands in front of him. "I'm sorry!"

The blond man stared at Izuku for several seconds before offering a lazy smirk. "Naruto."

"Huh?" Izuku blinked in minor confusion.

"Naruto Uzumaki." The man responded patiently. "My name. And you are?"

The green haired teen chuckled nervously before bowing his head with an apology. "Sorry... Uhh. My name is Izuku... It's nice to meet you."

The blonde man placed his hands into his pockets before responding. "The feeling is mutual Izuku." Naruto's ocean blue orbs glanced towards Izuku's chest before raising an eyebrow. "U.A Highschool, huh? That's pretty impressive."

Izuku's hands nervously grappled with the straps of his bookbag before he responded. "Haha... Uhh. Yeah... Thanks. It was tough getting in... I almost didn't make it."

Naruto stared at the green haired teen for several seconds, expression becoming blank and despondent. The silence continued to tick on for several seconds as Naruto's expression remained robotic.

Izuku stared up at the teen for several seconds, anxiety creeping into his veins. Nervously wringing his fingers against the straps of his bookbag, he was about to speak before Naruto's face finally shifted.

A lazy smile adorned the blond's face as he shifted his weight on one leg. "You lack self-confidence, Izuku-san... You made it into U.A. Be proud kid."

The green haired teen seemed almost embarrassed at the statement. "Ahh... Um. W-well..."

"You're at U.A because you want to be a Hero right?" Naruto questioned with a small smile. His left hand left his pocket as he pointed directly at the boy's face. "Right?"

Izuku's embarrassed expression tapered off as his green eyes slowly fell to the ground. He was quiet for a few moments before lifting his head and staring into the older teen's eyes. "Yes. I want to be a Hero... Like All Might. Someone that people can look up to and feel safe... Someone who saves the day with a smile."

Naruto's cerulean orbs seemed to darken for a moment, something that Izuku didn't really catch. After a moment of silence, Naruto offered a small smile to the boy.

It didn't quite reach his eyes and seemed plastic.

As if it was just a facade.

"Well... Seems like you have a long way to go, huh? Better work hard then, Izuku." Naruto patted the boy on his shoulder before placing his hand back into his pocket. "I'll be watching... Izuku Midoriya..."

All Might's protege watched the blond male as he rounded a corner, disappearing from sight. A confused frown formed on his face at the man's statement.

"I... How did he know my last name?"

Naruto continued on his way, well aware of the fact that Izuku was currently staring at his retreating form. Rounding the corner of the street his form seemed to blur out of thin air, disappearing entirely.

The blonde Jinchuuriki reappeared atop one of the buildings, eyes locked onto Izuku's form. Naruto leaned against the edge of the building, clasping his hands together and watching the boy as he mumbled to himself.

"Remind you of someone?"

The deep baritone voice of Kurama questioned.

Naruto's fingers wringed together as he watched the boy make his way to U.A. "Not even a little." He responded aloud.

"Didn't think so." The Titanic Fox huffed quietly before continuing. "How long are we going to continue playing this silly little game?"

Naruto's index fingers idly tapped against one another as his cerulean orbs slowly traveled upwards. He proceeded to stare into the sky, watching the puffy white clouds form shapes.

"Just a little longer... Bear with me Kurama."

The Chakra construct sighed loudly before mumbling a few unintelligible words. "Nearly a year in this abysmal hell and all you wish to do is cause unnecessary chaos... Do something or don't do it all."

A small smile formed on Naruto's face as his right hand moved towards his torso. His fingers glided over his clothed chest, tracing the scar that Sasuke had left upon his body when he was betrayed.

"I don't think we'll have to wait long... The air is getting heavier, Kurama. Besides, the U.A Sports Festival is happening today... Perhaps we'll see something that surprises us." Naruto's eyes lowered back down, easily spotting Izuku's form despite the hefty distance between them. "Soon..."

Kurama did not respond.

And that was alright.

His old friend didn't much agree with his actions in this new world. But that was okay. Having a different opinion was never a negative.

Kurama cared.

And that's all Naruto needed.

"Hoh... The Hero Killer himself." Menma stated condescendingly, watching as Kurogiri led the infamous Villain into the bar. "What an honor it is to meet you."

The murderers beady eyes zeroed in on Menma, instantly recognizing the Vigilante-turned-Villain. There was no fear in the man's eyes as the two men stared at one another.

"Reckless killer." Stain spat roughly. "You're like all the other scum in this world... Doing what you please. Where's your convictions and ideals?"

Menma did not respond to the Hero Killer, choosing to instead ignore the man in favor of watching the TV in the corner of the room.

"Where is Toga?" Kurogiri asked curiously, slowly making his way behind the bar as Stain stood motionlessly in the middle of the room.

Menma gestured lazily with his hand as he responded. "I told her to stay home. Her obsession would only cause problems..."

The masked Villain ignored the conversation between Stain and Shigaraki as the former began to oppose his ideals and beliefs on the latter.

It wasn't until Stain physically attacked Shigaraki did Menma finally move from his seat.

Faster than Stain, Kurogiri and Shigaraki could follow, Menma's sandaled clad foot connected with the Hero Killer's stomach. A shockwave of air rocked the small bar, shaking the building as Stain's body impacted against one of the brick walls.

The murderer proceeded to vomit a healthy amount of blood before slowly falling to the ground, barely able to catch himself from falling flat in his face. Using one of his many swords, Stain rammed the blade into the ground, using his strength to keep himself up right.

"Now now Hero Killer... There is no reason to get angry. We all share the same common goal here. Just because Shigaraki does not view our Society like you do does not mean his beliefs are wrong... You only wish to purge society of 'fake' heros." Menma shook his head like a disappointed parent. "You are not strong enough to impose these ideals on others... I am however. Now, let us get along, yes?"

The ebony haired Villain slowly turned around, offering a nod to the injured Shigaraki. He proceeded to then sit back down at his table, seemingly ignoring the group once more.

There was silence for several minutes following Menma's action as Stain and Shigaraki composed themselves. The two traded barbs and words with another for a couple of minutes before finally coming to some sort of agreement.

Stain left not a moment later after telling Shigaraki that he'd join the League of Villains to aid in Shigaraki's growth.

"I hate him..." Shigaraki growled out angrily, both hands furiously scratching at his neck.

"He is a man who's steadfast in his beliefs... Though he is rather immature about them." Menma stated lackadaisically, glancing towards Shigaraki and Kurogiri. "Attacking those who don't share the same beliefs and philosophies is the epitome of a 'tantrum-throwing child'. The clashing of ideals is normal but to become violent towards those who don't share your point of view is despicable. Ignore his words Shigaraki... They come from a place of ignorance and delusions of grandeur."

Menma's words seemed to actually calm the young man down. Shigaraki's fingers stopped viciously scratching his neck as he mumbled quietly to himself.

The shaggy haired young man continued to mumble to himself before nodding his head and making his way for the exit.

"Where are you going, Tomura?" The mist/fog Nomu questioned.

"Somewhere..." The leader answered back half-heartedly. The door shut not a moment later, bathing the room in relative silence.

Several moments passed in silence before Kurogiri directed his attention upon his masked companion. "I wish to thank you for aiding in Tomura's development. I know he is young but he possesses the potential for greatness. He just needs experience and room to grow on his own."

Menma waved the man off before slowly rising to his feet, turning off the TV as he did so. "You don't need to thank me, Kurogiri. Shigaraki and I may not see eye to eye but I truly believe that this society is rotten... A change is needed. It's just a matter of time..."

Kurogiri nodded his head before pulling out a bottle liquor and two glasses. "Want a drink?" He questioned while shaking the bottle lightly.

Menma was quiet for a moment before shrugging his shoulders and moving towards the well-dressed bartender.

"Why not?"

"Neh Menma-kun~! Where were you at?"

The masked Villain sighed quietly as he closed the door to his apartment. He shrugged off his Haori as he responded to his roommate.

"Business with Shigaraki..." He proceeded to take off his mask, attaching it to his hip as he slowly traversed through his shared apartment. "Get your things ready... We're going to Hosu City tonight. Shigaraki wants to cause problems for Stain."

A heavy blush began to slowly creep across Toga's face as she followed after her partner. "I get to meet Mr. Stainy?! Neh, Menma-kun! Have you met him? Have you?!"

The ebony haired man opened the door to the bathroom, uncaring of the fact that Toga was trailing directly behind him.

"Ahh. Yes... I have." He replied back quietly, standing at his sink before grabbing his toothbrush. He turned the nozzle of the faucet, allowing the water to drain down the sink. Grabbing his toothpaste, he lathered the substance on his brush before continuing. "He's a bit of an ass... I don't think you'd like him all that much."

The slightly psychotic teen bounced on the balls of her heels while clapping happily. "We'll never know until I meet him! Ooooh~! Do I get to cut some people tonight?" She asked in a dreamy tone, her blush seemingly getting darker.

Menma continued to clean his teeth, remaining quiet for the entire duration. After making sure that his teeth were clean, he turned towards his blonde roommate before nodding.

"You do indeed get to play with your 'loves.' But you're not allowed to go near the Eastern District... Understood, Toga-chan?"

The blonde girl squealed happily before twirling around in the bathroom and brandishing a knife that she pulled out from her sweater. "Ooooh~! Tonight's going to be so much fun~!"

A small smirk adorned Menma's face as he patted the girl's head, ignoring her deepening blush and cute noises. "Go get ready. We'll be busy tonight."

"Haaaaaaaiiiiii!" She responded cutely before skipping off to her own room, giggling quietly to herself as she fantasized about all the blood she would spill.

Menma watched her skip merrily before shaking his head with quiet sigh. He proceeded to leave the bathroom, not once looking at his reflection in the mirror.

Naruto stood atop one of the various buildings in Hosu City, gazing down at the raging fires and destruction. With Kurama's emphatic abilities, he could sense each and every negative emotion in the entire city.

Fear. Anger. Regret. Sorrow.

The emotions had no affect on the blonde as he stood on the edge of building, both hands in the pocket of his orange hoodie.

"Do you feel it Kurama?" He questioned quietly with a small smile. A chilling breeze swept through the city, jostling his sun-kissed tresses of hair.

His Bijuu did not respond.

And that was okay.

"Tonight... Things will change tonight. The air is thick..."

Naruto's cerulean orbs traveled along the city, spotting the unique creatures as they fought against pro heros and attacked random civilians. An explosion of fire rang out in the Northern District, drawing Naruto's attention for a moment.

Another chilling breeze swept through the area, drawing Naruto's attention to the streets below. His eyes caught sight of a tower made of ice.

Naruto disappeared before reappearing directly atop the building nearest to the tower of ice. He heard a familiar voice, one that belonged Izuku Midoriya, and three other male voices.

Glancing over the edge of the building the blond Jinchuuriki watched as the son of Endeavor, brother of Ingenium, and Izuku Midoriya clashed and fought against the hero killer known as Stain.

A small smirk formed on Naruto's face as Izuku and the youngest son of the Iida family landed a devasting combination attack on the older Villain.

Within moments, Stain was rendered unconscious by the three U.A students, his body dropping to the ground harshly. Those kicks from the Iida boy definetly broke a few ribs and Naruto was sure that Izuku's punch cracked a few molars.

Naruto leaned over the edge with a small smile, watching the three teen's form a unique bond over their fight. Apologies were thrown and accepted and it seemed as if everything would be okay between the three students.

As Naruto made to leave the area, Izuku's gaze rose to the moonlit sky. Upon doing so, he immediately spotted the blond man who had talked to him just three days ago. The blond man that somehow knew his last name.

The Jinchuuriki locked eyes with Izuku before offering the younger teen a wink. Not a second later did the teen seem to disappear, as if vanishing into thin air.

The green haired teen continued to stare up at the roof in silence.

"Midoriya? Are you okay? What are you looking at?"

Izuku's attention was drawn away from the rooftop at Todoroki's questions. He turned his attention back to the rooftop before shaking his head. "I... I thought I saw someone... Guess it was just my imagination."

Todoroki's gaze left his classmate, focusing on the area that Izuku had been staring at. Seeing nothing, the fire/ice user returned his gaze back to his classmate.

"Let's tie up Stain, Iida. Midoriya, you should go help the Pro Hero. Can you walk?"

The green haired teen smiled painfully before responding with a thumbs up. "Absolutely!"

Todoroki didn't believe him for a single second but still allowed the boy to do as he pleased.

Izuku nodded his head before limping towards the Pro Hero who was finally beginning to stand on own feet. Before Izuku could reach the Hero, he collapsed on the ground releasing a cry of pain from the injury that Stain had inflicted.

"Don't you love when a plan comes together, Kurama?" Naruto questioned with a small smile, hands in the pocket of his hoodie.

The blond Jinchuuriki stood atop one of the various buildings in the Eastern District of Hosu City, watching over the three U.A students and one Pro Hero.

"This 'plan' is as convoluted as that wretched Uchiha." The Kyuubi responded in annoyance.

Naruto quietly chuckled at the response of his old friend, watching as Iida and Todoroki dragged an 'unconscious' Stain out of the alleyway. Several Pro Heros alongside Endeavor and a short, old man could be seen in the far off distance, steadily closing the distance.

"It's going to work Kurama. Just trust me, eh?" He replied back with an easygoing smile. "When have I ever steered you wrong?"

"Plenty of times. You're a horrid driver." Kurama responded flatly.

With a smile still affixed to his face, Naruto responded playfully. "Why must you hurt my feelings? Life is already full of pain, my friend. There's no need to rub salt in the wound."

The beast did not respond.

And that was okay.

"Ooh... It's happening!" Naruto whispered excitedly, cerulean orbs blazing intensely as a random flying creature swooped in and kidnapped Izuku.

All Might's successor was airborne for all of three seconds before the 'unconscious' Stain broke free of his restraints, licking the blood from the flying creature off the face of one of the random Pro Heros, and paralyzing the beast, sending it and Izuku to the ground. The Hero Killer Proceeded to stab the beast in the brain, effectively killing it with little issue.

"He's looooooooose~..." Naruto playfully sang, watching the events slowly unfold. "What will you do now, Pro Heros? Become frozen in fear by the sheer tenacity and bloodlust of the Hero Killer? Or apprehend him and be the namesake you represent? It's so exciting!"

"This facade you portray is sickening." Kurama muttered quietly, disdain seeping into his voice.

Naruto's smile evaporated almost instantaneously at the words of his old friend. His cerulean pupils grew frigid and cold, lacking the warmth and kindness he used to have in the Elemental Nations.

As if a switch had been flipped, Naruto seemed to change into an entirely different person.

"Naivety and hope kept me going when I believed all else had failed. Tenacity and belief drove my core values. I truly believed that all people, regardless of background and beliefs, were capable of second chances."

Naruto's cold, dead eyes watched as Stain physically froze 10 Pro Heros and three Heros in Training with nothing but his words and presence. The man's bloodlust wafted heavily in the area, nearly spreading throughout the entire subsection of the Eastern District.

"I possessed a bleeding heart and what did I get for it?" He questioned rhetorically. "I was stabbed through that very same heart. Sent to a world with no way of returning. Realizing that everything I had ever worked for was reduced to ashes right in front of my eyes."

Naruto tilted his head as Stain drew two of his blades, his bloodlust only growing stronger as the man spouted about his philosophy and belief regarding the Hero Society.

"This world is so unlike our own world. Nagato once said that, 'In order for man to understand one another, they must share and experience the same pain.' I didn't agree with his statement when we fought... Or perhaps I just couldn't accept it."

Naruto shook his head as he watched Stain begin to slowly march towards the Pro Heros who were still frozen in fear.

"We fought for the same thing. Peace. And yet our methods were so different from one another... Well, that's not entirely true. I didn't have an answer... Not like he did. Nagato was so convinced that he could change the world... After waking up in this world and realizing what had happened to me... I finally began to truly understand what Nagato had been speaking about."

Naruto slowly glanced towards his right hand, staring at his scarred and calloused appendage.

"Man can only understand one another after going through the same/similar experiences as one another. And when you have experienced the same pain and anguish as your fellow man, will you truly understand each other. Man would have the capacity and understanding to avoid useless conflicts with one another."

"You must remember that humans are also capable of free thinking. You cannot and will not convince mortals that your belief and philosophy is morally correct."

Naruto nodded his head, face still set in stone as he watched Stain inch ever so closer to the Heros.

"I am aware Kurama... But we both know that humans are neither morally correct and or just. There are some individuals in the world who'd rather see it burn to the ground... That is human nature. The ability of free will is powerful, Kurama."

Naruto and Kurama's conversation was cut short as a figure garbed in all black with a unique porcelain mask appeared directly in front of Stain, blocking his path to the Heros.

The blond's cold, dead expression finally cracked at the appearance of the infamous Villain that has plagued Japan for the last six months.

A small smirk etched its way into Naruto's face as he watched the chaos unfold.

If Izuku had been frozen in fear before, then right now, he was practically hyperventilating.

"M-Menma?! What's he doing here?!"

Thousands upon thousands of thoughts and scenarios raced through his mind as he stared at one of the most notorious and vicious Villains to ever surface in Japan.

Izuku had studied each and every report on Menma. The man was responsible for the deaths of nearly 20 Pro Heros and 50 Villains! And these were stats of the ones that were actually known.

Who knows the exact tally of deaths that rested under this man's belt?!

They needed to escape!

But ho-?!

Izuku's inner monologue was silenced almost immediately as Menma finally moved.

Izuku's eyes widened to an abnormal degree as Menma seemed to just appear by him. Standing so close that Izuku could reach out with his arm and touch him.

"I... I didn't even see him move!"

Through this entire ordeal, Izuku hadn't even noticed the oddly shaped blade that rested between Menma's hands. Nor did he notice the tiny droplets of crimson liquid that dripped by his feet.

It wasn't until Stain's decapitated head came rolling towards Izuku's feet did he truly begin to understand what had happened when Menma moved.

"T-That... Stain's... Head..."This was without a doubt.

The most.

Terrifying experience.

That Izuku had ever experienced.

And then... He spoke.

"Hero Killer : Stain... Eliminated." Menma spoke in a lazy drawl, slowly shifting his position to stare at all the gathered Pro Heros. The man proceeded to twirl the unique looking knife his hands before speaking.

"I have the power to kill each and every single of you." To emphasize his point, the man proceeded to project his own presence on the 10 Pro Heros and U.A students.

Unlike with Stain, who's bloodlust merely froze the Heros in place, Menma's bloodlust knocked out the entire group of Heros besides Endeavor and the older man at his side. Despite being conscious, the two Heros were forced to their very knees, unable to stand in the presence of this monster.

"You only lived tonight because I allowed it." Menma drawled lazily. "Remember this day Pro Heros. If I truly wanted to... I could bring down the entirety of Japan with just a snap of my fingers."

The masked Villain proceeded to walk towards Endeavor and Gran Torino's position, slowly passing their frozen forms without harming them. Before he disappeared, he spoke one last time.

"The League of Villains is only getting started. Our society has gone unchecked for far too long... We will bring the Hero System to its knees. And no one will get in our way from achieving our goals."

And with those parting words Menma vanished into thin air, leaving several Pro Heros unconscious and weakened.

Naruto watched the entire ordeam with a large smirk before he disappeared from the rooftop, vanishing into thin air. The blond reappeared atop a random building nearly two kilometers away from the Eastern District of Hosu City.

The Jinchuuriki proceeded to sit on one of the edges of the building, feet lazily dangling as he stared into the night sky.

"I'd say I did a pretty good job. What say you, boss?"

An amused smirk alighted upon Naruto's face as the familiar voice of Menma spoke up, seated right beside him on the edge of the building.

The man's mask was currently strapped to his hip, revealing his face for the world to see.

Naruto glanced towards 'Menma' before chuckling in amusement. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say we'd have been better as actors instead of Shinobi."

The man known as Menma glanced at his partner, revealing a face that was nearly identical to the features of the man seated beside him. The only difference between the two men were the differing hair and eye colors with Menma's hair being a jet black and his eyes blazing a deep crimson.

The doppelganger smirked back at its creator before replying. "And the Academy said we'd never amount to anything... Oh, how the tables have turned."

"Indeed." Naruto responded back simply, eyes returning to the darkened sky.

Silence reigned between the two men for several minutes before Menma sighed quietly. He proceeded to slowly stand to his feet while placing his mask back upon his face.

"When are you going to make your move?" Menma questioned its creator with a curious tilt of the head.

Naruto did not answer immediately and seemed to ponder his answer for nearly a minute before replying with a lazy smile.

"I think... I think I'm just going to watch and observe... For now, continue on with the plan. The only way this world can change is by having a common enemy. Experience dictates that a common enemy will force factions to unite against the objectively superior enemy."

Menma said nothing in response to its master's words and only offered a wordless nod, disappearing into thin air to continue its role in the League of Villains.

"Soon."

AN: AN. LULW. Rickedy Rolly.

Yes, I already know that it's cliche and blase to have Naruto masquerade as a man who wears a mask with black hair, who also so happens to be named Menma.

I get it. I also don't care.

Deal with it PepeLaugh.

This story features a Naruto who was betrayed by Sasuke after their fight with Kaguya. Naruto was blindsided and due to Ninja Magic was sent to the MHA universe.

Don't like it? Oh well. Sucks to suck.
