I want to say thank you to everyone who has followed me this far, to my third year in writing, gosh already seventeen, and through fifty published stories. This fiftieth one is going to be different though.

In here I am going to put a collection of my works that have never been published.

There's going to be a lot of Steven universe so bear with me, and most of it won't make sense, but I'm begging you to tell me what you think and in that case, tell me if I ought to continue or finish writing any of these things.

For the record, some of these do hold a lot of cursing, Self harm, suicide, Original Characters, limes, brief mentions and slightly explicate mentions of nudity, impregnation, a lot of Steven universe and probably themes that are far too mature for a younger than seventeen year old but I am one now to be writing. I have warned you, but I don't think they were that bad.

Thank you all so much.

Fanfic girl of all worlds.

White roses (Steven universe)

a long time ago, when Whiteny Diamondes was a young woman, she was betrothed to a man who she had grown up with and saw as a brother; Blake Diamondes.

Blake Diamondes was a cruel, selfish young man who took pride in what he owned, which led him to lay claim that Whiteny was his property and not his girlfriend or intended.

When Red adopted the two of them it was in hopes of continuing his family's lineage into the future, as wise as he was he never foresaw Blake's dark nature and always looked upon him with fondness but his inheritance and all he owned was to go to Whiteny the moment she married, and everything would be split between her and her husband. He set this up in such a way that he could raise them proper and when Whiteny married Blake the estate would be shared by marital vow and forever bound to them both. Red had not accounted for the situation where Whiteny would love another and where her heart would grow cold and hard towards Blake. But that is what happened when she turned seventeen and Red made his plans known to them.

Blake had the gall to propose in that moment of initial shock to which she responded. "Not now." It was a desperate and vain attempt but for the time it gave her a chance to think of a way out of her situation.

Whiteny had always been a clever child, a reason why she was set to inherit everything and not Blake, and now that wit and cunning would free her from vows unwanted.

It's never difficult when you are privileged to purchase something without alerting others and when you are the favored child it is never difficult to swing things your way. Whiteny had her birthday canceled, due to the fact that she claimed to be ill but this was just a farce. In the night when all was quite and not a creature stirred, Whiteny stole into Red's room with two glasses of champagne. It was to celebrate her birthday with her closest friend, her father, but her next actions were something a daughter should never do to her father.

Just like Lots daughters, she got him drunk and slipped something into his drink. She wanted free and freedom she would get. While Red was passed out, Whiteny set to work arousing him and taking his seed within her.

She knew Blake would refuse her now, she was no longer virgin and had broken her vows of fidelity. Something unpure and repulsive in Blake's own stately words.

Whiteny waited in the long hall outside Red's office, her fingers drumming nervously against her lap. Red knew now and she was busy wondering just what punishment, and or reward she might get. The wait he put her through was unbearable but she knew that it was merely the beginning of something more to come.

Red poked his head out and waved Whiteny into the room. Quickly she followed and sat hurriedly across from him as he maneuvered around the desk to sit and stare down the petite woman. He cleared his throat and stared at her with intense hazel eyes. "Do you understand why I brought you here and why you're sitting before me?"

"Yes sir." Whiteny stated curtly, briefly nodding her head.

"And you understand that what you did was wrong?" Red went on only to receive the same polite response. He sighed and rubbed between his brows. "Whiteny I love you, truly but you are betrothed to Blake and I-"

"Are an unmarried man. Red I never swore myself to him not once. I couldn't swear myself to my brother." Whiteny cut him off and stated silver blue eyes pleading with him to hear her out now. "I know that what I did was wrong but I cannot be expected to marry a man who I don't love. You fathered this child within me and it is you to whom my heart belongs."

Red stood quietly and moved to the window, where her rested his head on his forearm upon the cool glass and viewed the garden and watched the stables disappear behind trees, recalling vividly when Whiteny was young and would run out the back door and into the sprawling garden, dog in tow, her proud horse calling excitedly over the fence as she sang her entrance into the fresh air free from studies. If one squinted they might see the white, and now grey dappled, stallion eating away at the vivid green grass. Red muttered something and Whiteny was curious and inquired to which the calm man with rubicund skin responded, detachedly. "I can't have two illegitimate children."

Whiteny trembled a moment and blinked large tears from her eyes. "Two?" She echoed in horror and shrunk into the cushion of her chair.

"Do you recall your parents, Whiteny?" Red abruptly questioned, turning to face the shocked young woman.

Whiteny bit her bottom lip and a long fingernail became caught between her teeth as well as she thought in a horrified state. Red wasn't her father, was he? Was she pregnant at that moment with her child and sibling and his child and grandchild? Her eyes were wide and she swallowed slowly forming a tiny answer. "I do. Vaguely. I remember my mother's name was Lillian and my Father's name was Darius... Paragont I think. And that you were to raise me as part of a business deal." She said and quickly asked before her mind could decide against reason not to state this. "I'm not your daughter, am I?"

"No. No," Red said, shaking his head and turning back towards her. "I'm not. But the deal I made with your parents was far more complicated than that. You see it was an attempt to keep our blood pure seeing as our families occasionally intermarry every few generations. Your mother and father were already married by the time I was even ready to look for a wife so we planned an impromptu deal. Their first child would be raised as a Diamondes and I will raise them to my best ability and then once they marry and have a child that child will marry a son of mine." Whiteny blinked in confusion, of course she understood what he meant she wasn't sure that she got it at all. Red sighed and shook his head, why would he explain something so old of she didn't understand it? "I have a found a woman, a surrogate, someone whose parents I knew, and with a bit of AI it's been ensured that she is pregnant with a son."

Whiteny held her beaded skit in her hands and picked at the silver and clear beads embroidered upon the white silk. "Oh..." She said somberly, placing her hands upon the armrests of the chair and preparing to stand. She stopped when Red took hold of her hands and held the petite things within his large mits, he knelt before her and stared with his burning hazel eyes into her misty pools of platinum blue.

"Whiteny, it is not to say that I don't love you and your beauty is irrefutable, but I don't know if-" Red swallowed and looked down, he'd always been a man of great composure but he was still a man who had emotions as any other. "If it is right, I know legally I am your guardian so I wouldn't have to ask your father for his permission to marry you but I would have to ask my best friends forgiveness for tainting their beautiful white rose," Gently he cupped her tear stained cheek and moved the steams away with a tender thumb. "It would be best to lay with Blake and make him think that it is his... But I know that is something that I couldn't ask of you without getting into an argument. I will not be able to handle your tears but I can wrangle Blake and his action in. This shall be... I shall perhaps come to regret the actions of my past in the future," Red stood, Whitey's fingers that she had tangled within lingering in his grasp, he walked to the other side of his desk and rummaged momentarily around in a drawer before returning to kneeling beside the distraught young woman. He picked up her left hand in his own and cracked open the small velvet box. "He was actually asking me to keep this for you until you... you know," Whiteny clasped her right hand above her face and swallowed, trembling. "Whiteny Corinthia Diamondes, will you marry me so that I do not have to put the child you bear within you the same childhood I put you through by taking and raising you without so much as a parent, do me this honor, and be my wife?"

The young woman who was barely a month above eighteen years, threw her arms around the man her mind used to associate with the word father, who was now asking to be her husband, who she clutched with him close and wept into his neck. Red slowly wrapped her up in his arms and kissed the side of her head, what a fool he was, he should have known how she felt for him and how clever she was, it should not have shocked him that she would have what her heart desired more than any other.

Blake opened the door holding some business forms, plans for Diamondes industries when he took them helm alongside Whiteny once they married, he blinked and opened his mouth to ask what the problem was now but Red mouthed something to him and the young man rolled his eyes and retreated back into the hallway. Whiteny sobbed once more and released Red from her iron clad grasp and held his shoulders to look him in the eye. "Oh, Red! Yes, please, I know what I did was wrong but I promise I will do everything I can to make up for it, so you trust me again, I'll-I'll never trick you like that again I swear, if only you at least try to love me, I promise, I swear that I-"

Red placed his first two fingers on her lips, when she was in such a state her rambling was obnoxious she would constantly prattle. "Whiteny, I don't ask anything of you. For I have already asked too much." Whiteny smiled and pecked his whiskered cheek with a kiss, thanking him for everything before standing and straightening out her dress.

She departed with a brief and quiet I love you before disappearing down the hall while Blake watched bewildered, for just a moment ago she was weeping and now she was joyous. What was wrong with that woman he would never understand.

Blake entered and stared quizzically at Red who was sitting in the chair Whiteny had just departed holding his head in his hands. "What's with you two?" Blake asked, setting the reports on the desk and sitting next to Red in the other Victorian style chair.

Red shook his head and glanced up at the young man. "Blake, I know you are due many a thing but I'm sorry but I can no longer promise your marriage to Whiteny any more."

Blake stared at him in confusion and his brows knit his mouth opening and closing with a thousand questions without answers. Finally he laughed uneasily. "Oh! I get it, it's a joke, isn't it? Very funny Red, hats off to you, but these are serious as is the state of my betrothal. You're so funny Red I forgot to laugh."

Red shook his head and sighed, standing to stare down at the young man. "Blake she doesn't love you."

The young man took it as well as could have been expected, cursing Red and Whiteny at the top of his lungs and threatening them but his rage turned to hurt when a terrified Whiteny shielded her face from his furious hands and announced she was pregnant. Everything Blake had dissipated and he left the dining hall to go upstairs to his room and locked himself within.

Gothel's girl's and whatever else I decided to do with that (Tangled)

Ella bella and may go to some party for royals that Rubin invited them to, there are princesses there who are really bitchy and the sisters who have just found out about their powers are going to kick some bitches asses and shove their oversized hair up it.

Everything that had happened in the past few years since what could have been called Gothel's reformation was full of plenty of drama but for Gothel it reached a precipice when a memory of her childhood flooded back to her. This joyous and clouded memory was so old and nearly forgotten the names of her childhood companions, her sisters, were obscured as they hadn't spoken in years and they were both probably dead now, just as she was getting close to, but she recalled a few things, such as the fact that they were triplets and that her heritage was never to be spoken about towards the three innocence's sleeping in a cradle within her home, remodeled to hold her and Cassandra's brood.

Three girls born not a month before, each with a crop of jet-black hair, either a trait from their maternal or paternal side which both sported the shimmering look, with a skin tone that could be described as in between cream and mocha, like a perfect cup of cocoa on a cold winter's night, and a set of shining emerald gazes, like their mother, Gothel, and her own mother.

Something about their young beauty and majesty was indescribable and Gothel found herself enamored with her youngest granddaughters. Eldest of all was Ella, although weightier than her sisters she matched them in every other way and was already sporting a feisty personality that often resulted in her having to be pulled from her second youngest sister, Bella. Now Bella was just like the others, save for the fact that she was thin and already showed a great height over her sisters and by far the most hair sported by any of them. Finally came young May, who was dwarfed by her sisters in height and size, not only being the youngest and the runt of their sibling, but she also had the smallest and softest tuft of ebony, and although her eyes were that same stunning green they were glossed over and after time this would prove to be result of partial blindness.

How Gothel wished she could have seen them grow and turn into ravishing young women, she was unable to, as when they were no older than three years old and life was finally smoothing into a peaceful lull, Gothel died in her sleep, to be discovered by the young Michael, who became a distraught mess after seeing his beloved grandmother lying in her bed without drawing breath, stiff as a board and ice to the touch.

Now this tale takes place years into the future when the girls were all decent age, old enough to speak and be distinguished from one another but still look alike. This is where problems began. Ella and Bella were engaged in a battle of wordy warfare and May was watching the familiar blurred shapes saunter round one another and cast the occasional hand gesture and hair flick towards the other.

"I'm just saying that if the prince truly was enamored with you, of all people he would be a bit more flagrant about it. Face it, he isn't interested in you in the least, Ella." Bella cast with a glower at the lower who stared up over her turned shoulder.

"Ha," Ella scoffed and stated matter-a-factly. "If that young guard was so spiteful of you, he would try to hide his fancy of you a little better. It's no secret you're seeing the protégé of Granddad."

Bella's cheeks burned hotly in rage and she folded her arms, her lip stuck out in an almost comical pout that was trademark to the middle child. On and on the two went, until May grew restless of their bitter words being thrown over her small height.

"Sisters mine, hold thy tongue, sisters mine, silence is yours, no more painful words, Sweet silence is yours!" May snapped, the rhythmic words natural to her (They all had spoken like that at least once in the presence of the other) yet so foreign upon her raspberry lips.

Ella and Bella froze, their mouths open but soundless, and the close watch older brother who acted as referee to the triplets and secret guardian to them, saw this happen and ran up the path to join the three girls upon the forested path.

"What happened here?" Michael questioned, eyeing the strange sight before him. When he waved his hand before their eyes they moved, and when they tried to speak, not a sound came out, not even a hoarse whisper.

"I don't know," May shrugged, and her older brother shook his head. "At least they shut up."

Michael laughed and nodded, picking up the two frozen teenagers and hoisting them over his shoulders, they moved manually but upon their own accord they could not which added to the puzzle before him and as much as he took pleasure in a puzzling pastime, he was not fond of them since freeing Joshua in his young teenagerhood. "Let's go see if Uncle Vari can fix them." He proposed, and upon hearing no protests, which could not have been voiced had there even been any, led the way through the forest to Varian's shop, which had been moved to a remote enough part that no one would be hurt in case there were any explosions.

May stared at her hands, which although her undefined blurs to her eyes, seemed to be flashing with a dull light, something she couldn't explain, nor could she question because she had no clue to know if it was just her eyes or if it was visible, and the question just seemed too silly to ask of her wise older brother.

The trek to Varian's was quiet, which was expected, considering which triplet that was left with vocal capability, and upon entering the laboratory, nothing else was spoken other than the quiet conversation of unknowns between the two young men. May didn't dare say anything, as she worried if she did something else might happen, her hands might glow brighter, and it was this fear that kept her lips sealed by magical vow, a silence which wasn't helping the situation.

Varian scratched his head and flipped through the old tomes he had inherited upon Gothel's departure of this world, and while he didn't own all of them, he still owned the largest majority. He thumbed over most of them and pulled out a worn one, it was one of the oldest and most fastening by far he found, as it wasn't anything that had to deal with the Sundrop or moonstone which had been destroyed years prior, aside from the residual in the two daughters of Gothel, the magic seeming to stop there, and pulled carefully at the leather binding to open the journal, slowly flipping through the pages and reading the words carefully. It talked about witches and spells and other worlds and lands of the dead, to which Varian chalked up to being a fictional account or recording of a dream of sorts, perhaps a time Gothel had lived through.

It recounted three sisters in a circle with another woman in the center, their faces obscured but the hair was distinct along with how they were dressed, it all looked so familiar to him, at least the one, but it wasn't clear, and he couldn't tell where he recognized it from. But in the sparse passage on the next page, it said.

They were her blood and of it they received, from this their power grew, and in time the mother left, leaving herself to have extreme powers, but split between her brood which she had been born into. With this split in power the balance was broken but forever they would always be witches three.

Varian scratched his goatee and hummed, looking at the picture and then the froze due of triplets. Setting the book down illustration up, he moved the three girls and poised them in a similar position as the ones in the book. Bella in the center, her hair being taken out of its bun, Ella to the right of her, and May to the left. Varian stepped back and looked at this work as critically as Rapunzel would have, holding the book up and down as to make sure he had life imitating art.

Varian's eyes grew wide and he almost had a girlish squeal when his mind made a connection. "OMIGOSH! Michael! Look!" Michael was herded under Varian's arm and Michael's face squished in a sooty leather glove as he was forced to look at the picture in the book and then the sight of his younger sisters. "What do you see? What's the common denominators in these two pictures?"

"Uh, three girls in a circle around a dead lady? And... uh, I don't know?" Michael guessed, unsure of what to think entirely.

"Yes! But no, if you really look at the lady in a red dress, who does she remind you of?" Varian asked excitedly, pointing at the picture's center where a woman with wavy hair and an hourglass dress stood posed in the same position as the Bella, with her long wavy hair tumbling down her back, free from its confines of hair ties to flow down to her mid back.

Michael looked at it again and held it up to look at his sisters they matched almost exactly, mostly, the lack of color didn't help, but when he really looked at the center most woman and how she was proportioned, how her hair hung, his eyes grew wide and he stared at Varian with huge eyes. "It... It looks like...Gigi... It can't be, though, can it?" He asked warily, swallowing and staring at his sisters.

"This is her journal! It could very possibly be her. Just think about it, we all know Gothel was older than she appeared and most of the things from her past we didn't know, and she didn't write down, so maybe she knew some people, and this is well, some friends of hers. You do remember Zhan Tiri?" Michael nodded and shuddered as Varian Continued to illustrate things before the mind of the young man. "Well, this could be another one of her secret pasts! It is very possible that it is!" Varian shook Michael's arm and the young man could only stare in amazement.

Bonejangles gives Aden a potion that will return him to the land of the living, as a human being, alive and well, on the very same night he was supposed to meet Emily.

Emily thinks she's getting stood up and is furious at her own stupidity. Always being made a fool of by men she cared about.

She finds him and yeah, about to get married and asks what he really wants. He dies for her though.

Aden and Emily get married though

They say I love you as the carriage trots off to begin their honeymoon.

Aden Roderick Darling Jr., the son of Aden Roderick Darling Senior, was a fine young man of wealth, a scholar of wide topics and a man due to be married.

His features were kind upon the eyes, with his sparkling strawberry blonde hair that was far more wavy than he preferred it to be, his sharp eyes of rich brown, and a pearly white smile beneath a little mustache, of which he was quite proud. He truly was a sight, with his wealth and good looks, as well as the mind of someone far wiser beyond his years.

He had met the father of his bride-to-be at his graduation ceremony, and he was also the father of two of his peers, a group of fellows who were not keen to young master Darling. A proposal was arranged, Roderick, as he was so unfortunately dubbed, would meet with the young Sophia Greene and perhaps strike up an accord with the fair young lady and the two would marry, making children of great prestige.

Sophia's brothers were not keen upon Aden Darling, nor were they keen to the betrothal, but, ah, how fond Aden was of Sophia and she him.

Their wedding spared no expense and was to be the grandest seen since the Merrimack weddings years earlier.

So, Sophia stood at the altar, playing with the engagement ring she had been given by Roderick a month prior, and waited. Hours it seemed, but in truth, minutes. Her brothers burst in the room with a look of absolute fury, pity and overall a sense of a powerful emotion, weather it be positive or negative I leave you to decide, and embraced the confused young bride.

"He's run off."

"He took a horse from the livery and just rode off."

Sophia looked at them in horror and devastation before collapsing into their arms, her parents quickly rushing up to the altar to comfort their youngest child at the sudden loss of her fiance.

In truth, Aden Roderick Darling jr. hadn't run off, but instead been ran off. Chased by bull whips and two powerful horses, Sophia's brothers had rode after him, chasing him down the road until he was cornered in an alley. When his back was turned in a desperate chance of escape, one of the brothers reared his horse and struck Aden Darling upside the head, where he promptly collapsed to the ground with his brain on display, face buried in trash and suit, his wedding suit, so fine it had been, was soiled as the brothers quickly piled more trash onto the now dead body.

In the land of the undead, three children played through the streets, a game of the three musketeers being reenacted while they were chasing a small dog with a red collar. Two were completely skeletal while one, the only other little girl, was still coated in a thin layer of flesh, but they were dead as the day was long and completely unaffected by that fact.

Tripping upon something in the streets, the skeletal girl halted and called over her brother and friend to examine the carcass she'd found lying in the road.

"He looks awful fancy." She said, poking him with her wooden sword.

"Yeah and really trashed too." Responded her brother.

The other girl took her sword and stuck it in his head, where the hoof had left a hole for his brains to spill out of. It squelched and the girl giggled. "He's pretty fresh."

Aden Darling sat up and looked at them, with confusion and then horror as his unclear and frankly unintact brain peirced together these images before him. "You're ghosts aren't you..." he brought a hand down his face and sat up. "Oh, just my luck. My wedding gets thrown off and I wake up surrounded by ghost children. Well? What is it that you want? I don't have anything on me and... God Sophia must be out of her mind with worry."

The young girl tilted her head and stared with her big blue eyes and laughed, a soft airy sound that drifted upon the slight breeze. "You're dead," she said and held out a hand, so boney and thin but still intact. "That means you're a new arrival! Everyone will be thrilled to meet you. And we're not ghosts. We're corpses." She stated matter of factly and gripped Aden's large hand in her small one, recalling what it felt like to be in that partially alive but still be dead in all entirety.

Aden was sent reeling by her statement, but followed nonetheless.

"What do you think about cards early tonight, girls?" The skeleton boy asked, running ahead of them and then back again.

"That sounds like a good plan, Sam." The Skeleton girl smiled, bringing the group to halt at the town's new arrival bell.

She and Sam looked at the rope, grinning madly. They ran for it and pulled down hard, the golden clang echoing out into the afternoon as the dead began turning their attention to the group, murmuring. "New arrival! New arrival!" And making their way out of their homes and afternoon activities to flock in a single direction, the same direction the zombie girl was leading him.

"Where exactly are we going?" Aden cautiously asked, eyeing his surroundings and the little little in the sky which he guessed served as the sun. He had to admit, everything here was a lot more ramshackle than what he was used to and the normal greys and other muted tones he was used to were gone, opted out instead for the duller light source and colors that were far more vibrant, begging to steal your eye.

"You'll see." The two girls chorused and Aden Darling sighed, wherever he was being taken their couldn't be anything worse than death, right?

Well, perhaps he was wrong, it was a large social gathering within a pub, aptly named the ball and socket. The children left him and a flood of people began greeting him and offering him things and talking to him and the young Aden Roderick Darling jr. was more overwhelmed than what he had been at his engagement party.

A quiet murmur fell through the room, no matter how many times they saw her, she still managed to quiet the room and gain everyone's attention, even with her further decayed face, arm and leg. Her steps were deliberate, deft, and ladylike to the highest degree, and despite her state, that white dress still was pristine and hugged what was left of her curvaceous form. She walked up to Aden, the crowd having stepped back to allow her passage and all Aden could wonder was if this young girl, woman, female? Was a person of power or something.

Quickly deciding so, he bowed lowly, to where his knees were all he saw, along with the children behind him giggling.

"Hello," she stated politely, a fine brow quirked in response to the young man's strange actions. "I'm Emily, what's your name?"

Aden stood, looked around, would've blushed had he the blood and cleared his throat embarrassedly. "Darling. Aden Roderick Darling jr."

Emily quirked her head, her eyes lighting up in a delighted sparkle. "Aden Roderick Darling?" She echoed. "Oh, you must remember me, Emily Felicity Merrimack, from Mr. Kilocalorie's music class!" A beaming smile lit her face and his brows only knit in confusion. Emily herself frowned at this and took to thinking. The zombie girl held up a ribbon from her vest pocket, to which Emily laced through her hair until it was in a loose bun, then walked over to the piano and began to play the showman, with more flare than anyone had ever see her play with before.

A look, what a powerful look, spread across Aden Darling's face. "Emily Merrimack!" He laughed and lifted her up and twirled her around before bringing her into a hug. "I haven't seen you since your fourth grade piano recital!"

"I know!" She herself was laughing and the pair was quite jovial in conversation, two seats being procured from the bar as they began discussing the past twenty years they'd been out of touch.

The child, the one who bore a cobalt completion, stared on, a frown gracing her usually jovial features.

Aden Darling stood between the altar and the church doors, at one end, the love of his life, Sophia, made up in that wedding dress he had left her in when he was killed, and in the doorway, the love of his death, slowly stepping further into the church, was the undead Emily, furious and hurt, also dressed in her wedding dress, just as he had left her upon the little cliff, waiting for him upon the night of his resurrection. Behind Emily a little ways, he could clearly see Vivian sneaking behind her adoptive mother and the evident remorse in her sparkling blue eyes.

"Well, Mr. Darling?" Emily asked shortly, stopping halfway within the church in all her dead glory for people to gawk and stare at her tattered and yet intact state.

Aden knew in that moment he had a choice, choose Sophia, sweet, loveable Sophia, and live alongside his murderers, or choose Emily, wonderful, witty, kind, intelligent Emily and die to be with her and that adorable little vixen of a child. How was he ever to choose?

In a moment, that he saw his would be brother in laws charging for Emily and Sophia, he knew he could only stop one knife and that was fine with him.

He leapt over Emily and took the knife in the back that was intended for her chest, horrified screams leaving the guests who were still in attendance.

Emily stared at Aden in shock and grasped him under the arms to keep him upright while his attacker stepped back in a subdued victory. "Why would you do that?" Emily asked lightly, confusion and joy brimming in her eyes at the sight before her, the man in her arms bleeding all over her mother's wedding dress.

"Because... Because I love you, Emily Felicity Merrimack." Aden gasped upon his dying breath as all life left his eyes and left him slumped upon her chest a moment before he wrapped his arms around her waist and spun her round and round. "You hear me? I love you!" He proclaimed joyously as he returned fully to his dead state.

Sophia stared at the dead couple, her would've been husband and that other woman and frowned, the ring on her finger, the ring Aden had given her, felt like lead over her knuckle. She rung it off and descended to the couple, even noticing the little girl with Alice blue hair and bluer eyes than anything she had ever seen, watching the couple just as intently but there was a shyness that prevented her from coming any closer. Sophia softly cleared her throat, a little grateful to the woman from the dead who had inadvertently prevented her from marrying a corpse, and it was Emily, whose eyes first fell upon the pearly intruder on Aden and her embrace.

"Emily Felicity Merrimack, is it?" Sophia asked, her brown gaze lost within dark blue. "On Behalf of our Aden Roderick Darling jr. I would like to propose, and ask that you be his... his wife."

Emily and Aden stared at the young woman and gaped, at her, at the ring, at the thought of someone proposing to Emily for Aden. It was quite a lot.

Vivian looked at Emily and then at Aden, before running and crashing into her legs.

Belle Allen and June Diamonte (Steven universe)

with the approaching wedding date, June insisted that Belle meet her family in a less formal situation. Belle agreed, but failed to see how a Saturday afternoon, considering the prestige and pedigree of the Diamonte's, would be an informal affair. But it was only tea, June assured, and tea was a quiet affair for her family, always.

"This is a miserable idea June. She only knows me as the company lawyer and-"

"Will absolutely adore you. Trust me. The last time I brought someone home was my husband and she was about ready to castrate him and spade me only because I had smudged my makeup. But he was a man. Besides, she loves your work." June soothed her bride-to-be.

"Not helping, dear." Belle hissed as her bride-to-be opened the door to her childhood home.

Alexandria was at the top of the stairs, shimmering in all her radiance, looking out the window, but the moment she heard the door click shut she whipped around and stared. "Mummy! Oh, they're here! And she's beautiful!" Alexandria squealed, running to the stairs and sliding down the rails as Blanche entered from another room, dripping in jewelry, sequins and beads, although her oversized sun hat and glasses were abandoned in the confines of her home.

"Manners Darling, we've future in laws here," Blanche chided, stepping before her eldest and holding her hands and kissing her cheeks. "Oh, mon beau petit bijou! You've finally brought us your mystery boue! And she's gorgeous!" Blanche copied her actions with Belle, who blushed furiously, especially when Blanche began began feeling her face arms and chest, almost patting her down but squeezing all the areas her hands touched. "And so perfectly proportioned too! It's wonderful to personally meet you Belle."

"Ah, you too, Mrs. Diamonte." Belle dipped her head and gasped when Alexandria wrapped her arms tightly around her.

If I die young (a corpse bride)

Aden Roderick Darling jr., Vivian Bijou Cecilian, and Emily Felicity Merrimack were a perfect little family. Father, daughter, mother. A beautiful thing they were indeed, and ever since the wedding between Mr. Darling and Ms. Merrimack they were alive thanks to Elder Gutknecht and his amazing powers of the unknown.

Alive and expecting.

Now Emily's life was no secret, at least not to those closest, but to her family that had remained living, they had assumed and been told that she just had disappeared and refused to return home for so long due to the shame. But she knew it wasn't true and so did the rest of the Darling's.

How excited they all were that day. A grandchild, a niece or nephew, maybe both more, no one knew, but that excitement kept all on edge the day Emily went into labor, all except her no nonsense brother, the eldest son to the house of Merrimack and the least optimistic. Gregory had tried for Emily, to be happy and hopeful, thinking that she would be fine and that the baby would be fine, but he thought realistically. Their family had a record of miscarriages and stillbirths and of the mother dying. He knew that as happy as this day was tragedy was predestined to strike and he prepared himself for it and the repercussions of his family being unprepared for an inevitable death.

Emily herself was delighted, but at the same time held the worries bore by her brother, she was a resurrected woman after all. Everything should have been restored, her skin had, and the muscle soon followed but what was bond to happen internally she had no way of knowing and that was a reservation she was more terrified to voice.

Then what? Would the child even be alive? Half dead half alive? Emily dreaded these things and she just hated the thought that she would have to say goodbye before she even really got to know her child or children.

Gingerly, as she walked around the room, her hand traced over her silk nightgown and the taut flesh beneath, caressing the child within.

Match box (Steven universe)

June Diamonte and Alejandro Ramone had been on again off again lovers for years and drinking buddies too. But sometimes, things got out of hand between the two of them and other times they couldn't stand one another.

That was the steadiest romantic relationship June had ever had, and she didn't intend to fully break it off.

June thought she was being righteous in comparison to her mother. One consistent boyfriend versus multiple husbands, it seemed so justifiable until that flame they had burned out for the time being, just as it always would.

June would work on in envy of her business lawyer, who had recently fallen pregnant and was married to a good man, and to see Belle glow like that, it was amazing. Not that June envied Belle for barfing all over her blazer just because her cologne upset her stomach. Not enviable at all.

As June sat in her office and watched the skyline darken, she could only think about how nice that might've been. To go home to someone, or even something, but, ah, an inbox full of emails and a desk full of paperwork. Home could wait, these needed to be taken care of before the night was over.

Blanche had a habit of walking through the empty cubicles after everyone had left and seeing just what her busy little workers were up to. As usual, the lights of June's screen monitor were on and the classical music she listened to was drifting on the late fall air. Blanche thought about popping in and telling her eldest child good night but, as fate would have it, June was asleep at her desk drooling over her papers.

Blanche chuckled and shook her head, walking over and sitting on June's desk before shaking her shoulder lightly. June shot up and looked left to right before blinking and looking at her mother.

"What? Blanche, why are you here it's late and you ought to be home." June groaned, rubbing her face to try and restore some alertness to her senses.

"It's barely after closing, dear. Besides, shouldn't you be home too?" Blanche asked, gently petting June's hair, which had recently been cut. It felt like velvet over her fingers.

"No," June yawned loudly, shaking her head and looking over the papers still strewn about her desk. "I need to work twice as hard on this deal now that Mrs. Allen-Carmichael is going to have to take medical and maternity leave."

"But not ragged. That's what interns are for." Blanche laughed.

June grunted and looked again at her desk. She really just wanted to sleep, and working on paper work wasn't something that her pounding headache was agreeing with.

June sighed, resting into her mother's middle, her head dropped. A sign of pure submission. "Alright, let's go home." Still in her twenty somethings and June hadn't technically moved out. She lived at either the office or her small appartment, which truly was just a place where she and Alejandro would crash sometimes.

June followed her mother to the garage and practically fell into her car, but as soon as she was in the back of Blanche's limo, she curled up and fell asleep.

Hollowed (Steven universe)

Empty and cold, I feel so alone
I never meant to hurt you...
Inside I'm dying, running off crying,
Can't get over you.
Why am so hollow?
These thoughts aren't easy to swallow...
Inside I'm hollow...
Try and laugh and smile again but I just end up crying.
I think of you it's overwhelming and the emptiness swallows me whole.
I'm drowning in sorrow,
You haunt me all around
And though I hear your soft sweet voice I'm hollow
It doesn't matter I laugh, I cry, I want to die, I put on that mask for all
I owe it to them to enjoy their happiness after all the pain I've caused
And yet I still hurt someone else.
Inside I don't feel anything,
Anymore
Inside I'm all cleared out,
I'm
Hollow.
Spinel read that page over and over again and couldn't pull her eyes away. She was here looking for something which she completely forgot about as Alexandria's fancy silver writing was just left lying open on the desk and she'd gotten curious and read it which she wasn't sure if she regretted or not.
Spinel swallowed hard and blinked back large tears which welled in her eyes but never fell

Spinel walked down the halls of the grand Diamond palace as she normally did after a day of entertaining her young cousins who still called her anything and everything but her name. Granted this was nothing that upset her, it was just they ought to know better after almost three years of living that her name was Spinel.

To put frosting on this cherry cake of emotion, Aquamarine had decided that it was safer to be a friend rather than girlfriend. That was okay too. It was her choice and to top it all off it was the month before Spinel had planned about asking her about being seriously serious together.

To add the sprinkles writing and cherry on top was Alexandria's journal. Spinel shouldn't have read it but she was so curious and it was out in the open so how could she resist. Upon opening the book and skipping past the boring day to day stuff, she found something she wished she could un-find. In this specific part of the journal it went on about nothing other than a baby.

Not just any baby, this baby had been Alexandria's but it didn't carry to term and in the journal it detailed how the ghost of the child haunted her always. How Alexandria longed to be a mother of her own child, someone she raised from childhood. From birth even.

That was something Spinel would never be able to give her...

But then an idea erupted in Spinel's mind; she could do that! It wouldn't even take that long to plan either, just implement.

If Alexandria wanted a baby then,Spinel would give her one. If Spinel wasn't good enough how she was she was going to give Alexandria what she wanted and if that was a baby so be it. Spinel didn't care, she just wanted to be loved and wasn't afraid to change how she was if it kept Alexandria happy because when she was happy everything was good.

"H-hey...Mom...?" Spinel asked softly, stepping into the threshold of Alexandria's grand bedroom.

"Yes sweetheart? What is it?" Alexandria's voice was soft as she shifted herself in the obese pillows surrounding her to regard her daughter with those soft silver eyes.

"Can I-... can I sleep with you...?" Spinel asked nervously, her fingers knotting together behind her back. Raspberry eyes focused on the black tiled floor reflecting her image.

Before more could even be said, Alex had already dove over the side of the bed her massive palms scooping Spinel up and bringing her close.

"Of course dear, always. What ever is the matter?" Silver eyes begged for an answer as did the forced smile, the slight twitching of her eyes and the quiver of her voice.

Spinel traced the heart lines along Alex's palm, those silver eyes burning through her.

"Spinel...?" Alexandria asked softly, her ebony lip catching in her teeth as the unfinished question lingered between them.

With a heavy sigh, Spinel curled up in her palms. "I'm just really tired..." Spinel didn't want to look at the hurt expression, she didn't want to hear the lies that she was perfect because she wasn't.

Alexandria sighed as well, settling her daughter on a pillow and allowing her shoulders to sink into her own. She went to sleep with a frown and knitted brows wondering just what she did wrong that made Spinel so- she didn't know and that was what bothered her.

During the middle of the night, Spinel awoke, careful not to wake up a restless Alexandria. She sighed and summoned her gem rejuvenator and placed the modified blade next to her neck. She knew she would come back before Alexandria woke up and she also knew that once she did this there would be no going back.

Alex sat up with a groan, popping her muscles and letting out a ferocious yawn. She blinked and looked where she had placed Spinel last night and squinted.

Why was Spinel like that? Was this a prank or something? It wasn't April fools...What was going on.

Alexandria twisted her GLF back into resting position and stared at Spinel, who had changed. A lot.

Spinel looked up at her with sparkling and curious pink eyes, tiny fingers reaching up for her connected to adorable chubby stretchy arms. A large toothless smile met Alexandria's confused grimace and a a squeal broke the silence.

"Spinel...wh-what... why are you... what happened...?" Alexandria choked, unsure if she ought to touch Spinel or not.

Spinel gurgled and kicked her feet, gently thumping Alexandria's arm.

For the longest time, neither Diamond nor baby moved. A strangled sigh escaped Alex every few breaths as tears burned her eyes but refused to fall.

Finally Alexandria moved, her hand gently tracing over Spinel's cheeks with deliberate slowness. This couldn't be her Spinel not in a million years. But this was her daughter, so small, innocent and tender. In her eyes she could see the confusion and hurt she saw the longing to please.

Maybe that's what did it. Alexandria picked Spinel up by the armpits and held her in front of her face the small baby hands batting her cheeks.

Sweet little Sophie isn't so sweet. (Steven universe)

From the moment of her birth Sophie Elizabeth had always been different from Alexandria Victoria and Mia Diana. Blue Diamond raised her differently for starters.

Rather than keep her youth shielded from the shattering of gems Blue would immerse Sophie in it and didn't bother filtering what she would see or say.

Despite looking the gayest of the three Sophie in fact was the most tenacious which the other Diamonds tried to ignore but it wasn't easy.

Being children they were bound to disagree sooner or later about some trivial thing or another and despite Alexandria being the one to always run to her mother Sophie did this her fair share of times.

Alexandria ran into the private meeting room where the three Diamonds discussed the latest colonization of a distant planetoid and she crashed into the legs of her mother sobbing into the sequins and lace of White's cape. Mia peered around the doorway and kept a firm lip as she stood rigidly in the sight of Yellow keeping what dignity could be spared.

Sophie strut into the room and stared up at the matching eyes of her mother.

"Mommy I want something." She stated, lips pursed and brows furrowed arms crossed tightly.

"Now's not the best time love..." Blue muttered lowly, offering her daughter a hand which wasn't accepted.

White gently kissed Alexandria's crown before sending her to her room in a bubble to sort out what ever this debacle was after the meeting had concluded.

Yellow's harsh glare sent Mia scampering off to find something to do rather than waste her mother's precious time.

"But I want Jasper x5g facet 4rl shattered." Sophie demanded a growl and whine contained within her speech.

"But that Jasper is Yellow's. You know perfectly well that I can't have her shattered without just cause." Blue stated, softly tussling Sophie's hair of ivory blue.

"Yellow I want her shattered do that for me now!" Sophie stomped.

The disapproving glares from Yellow and White compelled Blue to perhaps do something she'd later regret. "Dear, I need you to go to your room. You've interrupted a very important meeting."

"But-"

"No! Go now or it will be you facing my wrath and not that Jasper."

Sophie growled and scowled at all the Diamonds specifically her mother.

"What on Homeworld was that?!" Yellow demanded.

Blue flushed and cleared her throat gesturing to the screen before them.

Emily, my Emily (a corpse bride)

Emily Felicity Merrimack.

A beautiful baby girl born on a dreadfully rainy day in which the town's doctor was unable to make the house call that would've saved her mother, Marie Pearl Burnam, from an untimely death at the birth of her only living child as what would've been baby A, B, C, and D all died prematurely or were a traumatic stillbirth, but her father, who thought he could bear no more loss, found that he would be punishing the pure and innocent child before she even knew why she was being punished.

As beautiful as Emily was, she was a very sick child, and her father, the young, aspiring musician Edmund Thomas Merrimack, would've been at a loss had it not been for the kind hearted soul of Felicity Rose Davidson, the best friend of the late Marie and Emily's godmother and middle namesake, who helped him take care of this last relic of his wife.

Perhaps it was because of her likeness to Marie, or perhaps the fact that Felicity had Emily wrapped round her finger, but before Emily was even a year old, her father remarried to the young woman who had sworn upon her friend's grave to be there for her child, just not in the way she expected.

So, Emily grew not knowing the difference. Of course, her father never told her that she had a different mother than the one she knew, it would've given her a complex and confused her young and growing mind. Emily knew no different and that's how her life would remain. Emily's sickness and ailments raided her small body throughout toddlerhood and into early childhood but a wonderful recovery from the purging diseases she was brighter than ever and already the talk, due to her charm and beauty as well as talent, of the town and beyond.

Unlike Marie, Felicity's fertility was far stronger than that of her friend, and while it took seven years at that, before Felicity and Edmund welcomed a child, or should I more aptly put it, children, who shared their genetics, unbeknownst to Emily.

The twins, a girl who took her mother's striking, beautiful brunette hair and her father's green eyes, and a boy who took on his father's shock of blonde and his mother's green eyes. Fern and Gregory Merrimack were a welcome addition and the beginning to many, because not many years down the road, Mrs. Merrimack gave birth to triplets, all boys, all a strange combination of mother and father, Hector, Issac and Jacob. Then, another set of twins, more sisters for Emily and Fern at last, both blonde with green eyes and the only difference being the beauty spot below Kathrine's eye and the one above Lorraine's right corner of her mouth. More triplets, bringing the count, higher still, with Madison, Nicholas and Octavius. A frightening birth, to say the least but not the end of the children Edmund and Felicity would produce in their lifetime. Finally, the most traumatic of all, the birth of Paulette and Quinn, the last children Felicity would ever bear her loving husband in their large family of fifteen.

Sadly, due to the time period and the toll five heavy pregnancies put upon Felicity, she too, died at a young age, leaving her family behind to grieve.

Now it was Emily who was the head matriarch of the Merrimack family and although a heavy burden, she bore it as gracefully as she did anything else. With breeding impeccable, she was a fine child who grew into a fine young woman, always seeming to be at the high social light or followed by a trail of younger siblings.

"Come now girls, I know that the dolls are pretty but we must be going, we promised father we would be home early today and we're already running late as is." Emily sighed, tugging upon the chain of girls and leading them down the street, away from the window of toys, a temptation even for her.

Gregory pulled his coat tighter and gestured for the rest of the boys to follow him, which in turn meant following Emily down the cold winter roads. The children couldn't entirely help being so distracted by the wonders town provided, it being close to the holiday season and all, which meant presents, dinners and balls, which they all were eager to attend.

Something, dark and quick, darted under Emily's feet and sent her to the ground, a heap of snow she would've fell in, had it not been for strong arms wrapping around her waist and holding her up.

This man stood her up upon her own two feet but kept tight a hold upon the young woman that her head was dizzy and her feet floating above ground at the thought of such a scenario that she was wrapped within. He brought his face close to hers and spoke. "I am lord Barkis Bittern, but what may I call you? For neither the angles of heaven nor devils of hell have called such a thing as yourself anything other than beautiful."

Emily chuckled softly and her cheeks reddened from the cold only burned brighter, her dark brown eyes finding something else to look at aside from Barkis. "Emily Merrimack. A pleasure."

He stepped away and kissed her knuckles, a movement made to kiss her lips, but he withheld, seeing the group of children behind her. Barkis cleared his throat and nodded, tipping his hat and bowing to the young lady. "The pleasure was mine." He left without another word.

Emily was on clouds for the rest of the day and into the evening, so much so that she missed dinner for waltzing around her room with the cat and singing absentmindedly.

"What's gotten into your sister?" Edmund asked after dinner, the other children looking around and kind of shrugging, Emily was the oldest, how were they to know.

"A man with a butt chin got all weird on her." Fern mumbled around her food, earning a glare from her twin.

The Crowley boy (Tangled)

Old lady Crowley wasn't one for stories but she was getting too old to tell it and he was finally old enough to hear it. What really happened to his parents.

Nobody knew anything about them. They were a young couple from a far away land who didn't even speak a language that anyone knew. When they moved, just a father, a mother and a son with very little to their names.

But the people of Corona knew about the strangers and were as curious as they were disinterested and wary.

What if they were spies, planning to launch an attack from within Corona? Why didn't they try to learn the language of their new area? Why did they never leave their deep forest home?

No one knew and while very few questioned it, there were still those who much rather see the strangers eliminated.

Sadly this is what they did.

No one knew how the two year old made it from his home to Old lady Crowley's flower garden, nearly a mile away, or even out of his burning house.

Call it fate if you will or destiny but something brought him there, somehow he survived the devastating fire.

Old lady Crowley rode to return the messy toddler to his home but there was no home, no barn, no garden or fields. Everything was reduced to ashes. Ashes and a small boy who toddled around and placed his hands on what were the remains of a door, saying. "Uhn nam."

Deciding against her better judgment, old lady Crowley kept the boy and as far as everyone else knew he was a supposed nephew that a long lost family member had left with her as apart of their will.

The toddler didn't understand anything she said, but he tried to help her in the garden, that was something he knew from his mother. His curly black hair shone in the Coronan afternoon sunshine and his pale skin burned red, bright hazel eyes shining with the joy his toothy grin couldn't contain.

It took months but the boy eventually began learning words in the proper language, water, food, nap, hot, cold, yes'um, flower, hurt.

But it was only when a nosy young maid asked what his name was did Old lady Crowley think to pause. She'd always just called him boy and he knew what she meant. After a moment's thought and a glance at the boy Crowley decided on the name of a butler she used to know who was quite like the boy. "For your information his name is Matthew Cayden Crowley. But it's none of your business. Boy, c'mon, these halls aren't going to sweep themselves."

Matthew, as he'd been dubbed, pushed himself up on chubby legs and ran after Old lady Crowley, who smiled and patted his head of dark curls once out of eyesight.

Even with a name he still remained the Crowley boy and no one bothered to change the title because it had already stuck.

When Gainey was promoted to Captain of the Guard, Matthew did all he could to follow him around. Not having, or remembering, his father Matthew yearned for someone to look up to as a role model. The captain was always so Busy that he didn't always have time for Matthew but that never ever stopped him from trying to learn all he could.

Then Matthew met her.

She was stunning! Frightening, strong, well versed, an amazing warrior and to top it off, she was the Captain's daughter. Not that Matthew liked her because of her status. That would be wrong. But he had to admit, something about her many facets allured him. Then, as ever busy as he was showing her around, she punched him and quickly his opinion changed. No matter how stunning, she was still a stupid girl, not a beuatiful lady like the queen. And thus a rivaly began in the form of reddened cheeks and flustered fists until

My favorite heart song (My little pony: Equestria girls)

Her name: Diamond Heart-song.

Her occupation: college student at Crystal city university for the talented. She went there majoring in Music and minoring in germane and art.

Her family: well renowned musicians on her mother's side, respected lawyers upon her father's, and wildlife biologist upon her stepmother's. Three half brothers, one almost her age, another half her age and the other falling somewhere in between that.

Her friends: there weren't many after she graduated crystal prep top of her class that year.

And then there was one person who meant more to her than anything else in life: another young woman, with hair like a boiling citrus foam and roasted oat skin and bright raspberry eyes and a voice to make yourself quiver and sing, your hair stand on end and give you goosebumps but so sweet she could have you sleeping in a few notes.

Of course she still had to introduce herself to this beauty, but oh, what she wouldn't give.

One day, during class, Diamond Heart-song sat in her usual spot near the middle of class, trying to see around the floofy mane of pumpkin spice and pay more attention to the lesson on music theory (she thought anyways) instead of this girl.

Finally when her concentration waned thin and thoughts ran rampant, Diamond Heart-song gently tapped the other young woman upon her shoulder, shuddering with electric shocks and the coolness of her leather jacket.

The woman turned and regarded her with a cold stare, her lips curling up into a devil's smile. "What?" She hissed lowly.

"Would you like to join me for a coffee after school?" How she stated that legibility Diamond Heart-song would never know but she had and now she awaited the response to come from those lips rolling around critically.

"Do you even know who I am?" She growled playfully, eyeing Diamond with those beautiful pink eyes and that seductive smile.

Diamond shuddered and opened her mouth to say something but the professor interrupted her.

"I hope you two are talking about the lesson?"

"Of course Professor Metronome. Diamond just needed to borrow some note cards as she ran out." The girl lied with a sweet smile, digging around in a backpack before handing Diamond Heart-song an unnecessary notecard.

Diamond took it and smiled awkwardly, leaning back into her seat, but upon flipping it over she saw a phone number and little hearts, a trademark she knew to be the young woman's.

"Very good Adagio. Now then classical music has two different types of theories..."

Diamond Heart-song held her breath and completely melted, having forgotten all about the class and notes and anything else, eventually droning to her next class later that day.

Biting her lip, Diamond pondered calling Adagio, oh, her name was so wonderful and so very alluring, and she had known her name. What a woman.

Finally she did dial the number as her brother's wrestled in the background over something she would never know.

"Hello? Whose this?" Adagio sung, flexing her toes as she held a bottle of nail polish in one hand and the brush in the other, scrutinizing her pedicure and deciding what to do next.

"Uh, hi...! This is Diamond Heart-song and I um do you still want to get that coffee or maybe because it's so late we can, I don't know, maybe get dinner together?" Diamond asked nervously, her arms shaking violently.

Adagio laughed and pursed her lips. "It's a little soon for having dinners sweetheart. I could go for a coffee but what's in it for me? What do I get by spending an hour of my time with you rather than doing something else?"

Diamond swallowed hard, Adagio had called her sweetheart, her face burned. "I don't know what you'd get out of it but it might be enjoyable. Please?"

Sing me a new song (my little pony equestria girls)

"I said I don't want to see you again!"

"Please if you would only just listen-"

"I don't want to hear bullshit! Especially from you!"

"But-"

"I SAID FUCK OFF ADAGIO!" Aria screamed, slamming her fist into the doorframe dangerously close to her sister's head. "I don't want to talk to you ever again. I don't want to hear from you anymore. I don't even want to see your smug bullshit face. I don't care what you have to say because everything that has ever come out of your mouth... it's cost..."

Aria's fingers danced where her gem used to lie, feeling the scars caused by the shards. "And not just me. It's cost Sonata, it's cost mom. If it weren't for you we wouldn't even be trapped in this world to begin with! But you just had to go see what mom was doing, didn't you? Just had to take Sonata and me, just had to sing. I blame everything on you Adagio, you can scream at me, do what you want, but I'm not afraid of you anymore."

Adagio stared at her sister, blinking back tears. It had been five years since they lost their magic and six months since they got their voices back. And forgiveness was not an option for Aria to give Adagio. She swallowed and stepped back from the doorway she'd been standing in and her pumpkin hair flew back with the force of the slamming door.

Adagio stared, turned on heel and left, eyes moist and lip trembling. When she got to her van, she broke into a fit of uncontrollable sobs, mascara dribbling onto the steering wheel and her jeans. Hiccuping, Adagio scrubbed her eyes with the heel of her palm and taking deep breaths. Neither Sonata or Aria were willing to hear what she had to say and that hurt greatly, and the only other person she had left hadn't spoken to her since their inheritance had been divided four years ago.

Shakily, Adagio started her vehicle and pulled out of the compound parking lot, tremors raking her arms causing her to sway within the lanes of traffic.

The memories this van held cut like a knife, she still remembered in clarity when they'd stolen it and spent an entire month painting and customizing it, how excited they were when she'd proposed the idea of taking over that school and the pride of their mother at the prospect of Equestrian magic, she remembered the pain of their stones shattering and the feeling of them digging under her skin. Not talking for a month was rather painful and not singing for six was pure torture.

When in Rome (my little pony equestria girls)

That song echoed off the wall and pillars as a woman and three girls walked through the streets of Rome, Confident and stunning as they charmed the people who passed by until the woman stopped in front of a councilman, her melody halting.

"What might your name be, Woman?" He questioned, arching a brow and looking up her shapely figure.

"I'm a descendant of Siren, Sirena, my lord." The woman answered coyly, making her cleavage clearly visible as her daughters stared up at her.

"And these young ones?"

"My daughters. And we're in desperate need of a place to stay...?" Sirena pouted and brought herself dangerously close to the Councilman.

He smiled smugly and puffed out his chest. "Arcimicherous Dmitri, and I think I can figure something out for a lady such as yourself."

Sirena grinned and her necklace sparkled, while her daughters had spread out and began to croon once again.

This is never what I wanted for you (Steven universe)

"Tell me again; why am I coming here?"

"Because I need you to see if it worked."

"Fine, but do you know the scandal this is going to create? I never come here. Unless it's to stop Blue from wallowing in her grief again."

The Amazonian woman turned the corner and entered a small room where her pearl set to work with a machine.

Alternative take on three bots and a baby (transformers rescue bots)

There had always been four of them and they'd always been together, magically controlling things in their world until they couldn't.

Transported to an new world with barely any powers to their names, they tried to fit in, but the only place they seemed to fit in, and not be judged for their abilitys was the fire house of Chief Charlie Burns and his family.

But with time, and the few things, secrets of sorts, came to light for them.

Their names were corresponding to the minerals that created them. The eldest was Lycia, the tallest out of the four with rich brown stands of wire that looked and billions of springy curls, plates of copper skin, eyes crafted of chocolate crystals, and what clothing crafted of other dark tone metals, like brass.

Second eldest was Niteice, and by far the shortest of the group. Her hair was stained orange, not that she cared, as the metal and crystals jutted from her head in a lopsided crown. Her eyes were so similar to Lycia's, but were crafted of flames and said to hold the breath of dragons, white her skin was a contrasting platinum that glimmered in any type of light, and like her hair, her clothes were made of metal stained the hue as a pumpkin.

Closely following her was Cylana, a woman said to have been foraged from the very fires of the earth. Her head held a sinister helmet, meeting to form two peaks at the top of her head. Her eyes were sharp as daggers and formed of pure gold, while her metallic skin was crafted of iron. Almost every inch of her was covered in armor, leaving only her face to contrast the gold that crafted her.

The youngest was Brin, the silver wiring that made up her hair cascading down her back in waves. Her skin was soft platinum, creating the gentle curves that crafted her. Along her form crystals were stitched together in the form of a gown that hugged every inch of her body.

And they all were displaced in a place they weren't sure of, at least Cylana wasn't sure of it, everyone else had adjusted quite nicely to life on this new planet.

Jar of hearts (Steven universe)

Mia Diane Yellow Diamond.

That was her name across many multi-verses.

But, she had a bit of a roaming eye, as proved with her romances with Sophie and Sour cream, not to mention for the few flings she held with Alexandria and Lars.

Her lust, her love, her hate, and attractions.

Yes, she had a string of hearts to tail behind her, some following like love-sick puppies, others drug along because of duty and familiarity.

And then all her stringed up hearts tied together and tangled up into a nasty mess.

So, this is where our story starts, Mia and all the hearts she's toyed with.

On the beach I worked, up and down, push-ups, sit-ups, a normal work-out in general, and in the dawn light I could feel her eyes on my lean form.

Damn brick didn't know when to quit, and I couldn't tell if she loved me or lusted for me, I mean neither were a bad option, other than I wasn't entirely interested in her. She was taller than me, and when she wanted to be lovey she would drape herself on me like a boa constrictor, and I couldn't tell if she was going to kill me or bang me in one moment.

I could tell she wanted to come towards me, but I knew she wouldn't, she wouldn't because she knew if she did it would cause a confrontation.

I could see Lars, from the corner of my view, opening the big doughnut, his cotton candy form turned almost pumpkin in the warm orange light.

He was someone I had spent a few lonely nights with, but it wasn't anything more than that, we'd fall on each other when we were alone and drunk.

I took my towel and whipped sweat from my brow, and took a drink from my water bottle -empty- so, I tossed it back onto my gym bag and walked down the beach, going inside would only result in me getting pounced by the little vixen I loved; Sophie.

At least if I went into the big doughnut, I would not only get something to drink, I could get a breakfast too.

The door bell gave a tiny jingle as I stepped inside, still in nothing but a sports bra and my tight leggings, well and my boots. The pink man looked up and leaned against the counter, eyes following my every move.

"Morning Lars, The-"

"Usual." He finished my sentence, already grabbing a lemon tea and warm lemon long-john.

"Thanks." I said, taking the offered goods, and humming in content as the warm sweet pastry melted in my mouth, damn he was good at what he did.

As I sat enjoying me breakfast, the door opened, and a quick chaste kiss was placed upon my left cheek before I saw the blue and orange blur, leaning against the counter and ordering his breakfast as well.

"Morning sunshine." He crooned, taking his doughnut and sitting across from me.

"Good morning good looking, what's got you so zippy today?"

He already polished off his doughnut and was downing a coffee, in between slurps he said. "Got a gig this morning, gotta be there to set up by seven thirty. Think I could see you there?"

"Dunno, I might have places to be, things to do." I teased, pointedly ignoring him.

"Could I convince you to stay for the after party?" Sour cream's tone was low, a low tone he only used when he wanted my company.

I shuddered, damn I hated when he used that tone on me in public! "It's going to be eight a.m. by the time you finish, if not ten, and that's way to early, SC, besides, I do actually have things to do today."

"You mean, getting it on with Soph?" His tone shifted to a bit courser, he knew I hoped from bed to bed, and he was mostly ok with that, he'd never told me otherwise.

"No!" I snapped bristly, glaring at him my golden eyes I might've liked her quiet a bit, but I wasn't some slut who hoped from bed to bed all day long! "I have actual work! Like dissolving the empire! You know not every gem likes these changes!"

He rolled his eyes. "Yeah ok, fine... I'll see you around then." He gruffed, getting up from the table and leaving, leaving only myself and Lars.

I groaned with an exaggerated sigh, men, they were so complicated and only thought with their groins eighty percent of the time.

I sighed again and left as well, no sense lingering, and Lars was busy baking more of his pastries for the shop.

There was a common gem bar where even humans preferred to go and in a back corner sat a small group, two expresses, a DJ and a pink space captain. Sounds like a punchline to a bad joke, I know, but it's about to get worse.

The tallest and palest empress tugged on the collar of her shirt until it dipped into her cleavage to reveal a dark bruise, of who caused it they all knew but one was unwilling to believe it even after she was shown everything that had been done.

"Face it Sophie she's not loyal to just you." Lars grunted, pulling his shirt back over his head after having revealed the long claw marks down his back.

Together (Steven universe)

Alex stared up at the stars.

She always loved the stars.

They looked so different from earth.

It was good, and strange here on earth.

Things were... things were good on earth...

But this was their last night on earth, in the morning they'd be returning to Homeworld with their mothers to dismantle the empire.

She wanted to go back, after all that was her home, but...

On earth things were so different, she was allotted different privileges here, things, things she was never allowed to do on Homeworld, and what she wanted, and it wasn't just her that wanted it but, what she really wanted, more than anything was to look at one just ever so slightly younger than her and tell her in front of everyone that she loved her. To hold her hand. To kiss her in front of everyone. To just do couple stuff.

She looked down, down to the beach where everyone else was, laughing, talking, just living life to be living life.

"Hey."

She spun around, looking at the teenager behind her, who slowly came up and took a seat beside her.

"M-mia!" She squeaked, cheeks flushing a pinkish silver hue.

The younger chuckled and let her hand 'accidentally' sit on top of the silver princess's.

"I know why you came up here." She said, looking to the stars, which reflected in her golden eyes and illuminated the fire within them.

Alex became lost, her mouth hanging open as she stared into those beautiful pyrite eyes.

"It's the same reason I came up here... to be with you."

They both became quiet, and Alex let her gaze drift up to the stars, just like Mia's.

Finally they both went to speak, but they overlapped each other and burst into giggles.

This was so nice, so comfortable.

"You go first. I've already said a bunch." Mia giggled, running her fingers to comb through her golden peaks.

"Ok... Well, it's just... here on earth we can... we can hold hands and no one judges us... I mean just this afternoon when we were healing the corrupted gems... I gave you a kiss and no one looked at us like we were... like we were weird... Or wrong. I liked it. But if we go back..." The platinum blonde trailed off and sighed, looking out to the glistening sea.

"Yeah... I get what you're saying... And even if Steven comes with us, the only time we'll get to be together is probably going to be Music lessons like it used to... and even then... both our mothers... they hate each other, and hate the fact that we love each other... I don't want to go back to that." The Blonde said, laying back on the soft grass and staring up at the shining stars.

Turning around, the eldest looked at her with a confused look. "What do you mean?"

"I mean that I don't want to go back to Homeworld. I can't stand my mother going from not touching me kindly to practically smothering me in love. I think I'm going to stay here."

"But what about me?" Alex stuck out one of her mahogany lips in a pout and looked at the other with sparkling silver eyes.

"You could stay here, then we wouldn't have to be with our mothers. Always looking for their approval. We could just have a life, our own life. Together!" The idea was a brilliant one, but they both knew it would be a difficult decision.

Put the middle finger up (Steven universe)

Mia looked at Esmerelda and beamed.

"Ok, Es, now what was the thing Mamma taught you?" Mia asked, holding the shoulders on her human daughter.

Esmerelda did as her mother had shown her, even if she originally had to use her other hand to get the right fingers to stay down.

"Very good." She kissed her forehead. "Let's go show Mommy, hmm?"

Oh, she couldn't wait to see the look on Sophie's face when Esmerelda showed off her new trick.

Arriving at Sophie's throne room, where she and Green both sat, reading a colorful book, Mia crouched down behind Esmerelda and said. "Hey Soph look over here. Es, why don't you show Mommy your trick like we practiced?" Oh to say she was proud, was a vast understatement, she was thrumming with delight at what she'd taught her daughter.

Esmerelda nodded and picked up her right hand and folded the fingers with her left and then showed it to her mother, Mia following her actions with the largest, shit eating-est grin possible.

Rather than gasp with shock, or scream horrified at the naughty trick Mia had taught her baby. Sophie just looked at Green and nodded, each of them pulling the same gesture with a lot less effort over stuck out tongues.

Face igniting crimson, Mia picked up Esmerelda and bolted down the halls, she was screwed, and not the kind she liked. "ABORT! ABORT! ABORT! ABORT! ABOOOOOORT!"

Sophie just chuckled and looked down at Green. "Should we let them get a head start or go after them now?"

"Now." Green answered, smiling as her mother held her close in her arms and rose from her throne chasing her fleeing prey.

Alexandria laughed from her viewing point and ruffled Spinel's hair. "I am so glad you are an only child and that I don't have a spouse."

"Agreed. Although, how would you feel about grand-geodes?" Spinel asked innocently, her mind conjuring up the most diabolical thought imaginable at that very moment as her mother fainted.

B-A-S-S the guitar, not the fish (Steven universe)

Opal giggled danced around with as much grace and strut as both her mothers, singing a song she'd heard and humming in the places she didn't know where to fill in the words.

Her gem began to glow and she gasped, calling for her mothers. "Mom! Mama! My gem!" She was unsure if this was a good thing or bad thing, but it was happening and that was scary and cool.

"Your gems glowing!" Pearl gasped, her hands covering her agape mouth.

"Try summoning your weapon kid! C'mon!" Amethyst cheered, smiling wide at her little gemling.

Opal swallowed as her trembling hands reached for her gem summoning a glowing rod at first, then a flat blade, and when the light faded she was holding a bass. That's B-A-S-S as in the instrument, not the fish which is also spelt B-A-S-S.

"Your weapon is a guitar?!" Amethyst asked, running her fingers through her hair and rocking on her heals.

"Actually it's a Bass. Like What I play. I don't quite see this as a weapon but... There is nothing that says you can't use it as one. Or as a tool even." Pearl commented, relieved her daughter's weapon was not something lethal or sharp or dangerous, after all Opal was still so young.

"I wonder if I could shoot arrows from the strings...? That'd be so cool! Or if I can create soundwaves that obliterate mountains! Or maybe it shoots lasers when I play! Or- Aww... Why'd it disappear?" Opal had begun ranting about all the things she could have done with it but pouted when it dispersed back into the light of her gem.

"That sometimes happens the first time you summon you weapon. But sweetie, we're so proud of you!" Pearl beamed, bending down and brushing some of the thick hair back from Opal's face before kissing her forehead.

The gemling gave a small smile but still pouted, she had just figured out how to summon her weapon, and she didn't know when she'd be able to do it again, and it just poofed.

The minds crooked path (Steven universe)

Alexandria strolled along a starlight road, drifting leisurely through the old dusted memories.

These weren't hers, and she couldn't help but smile as she watched her daughter smiling and laughing with Pink Diamond in the garden.

She couldn't help laughing herself, watching the silly little things Spinel did to entertain Pink. Despite the mirth she felt, she couldn't smile for long. Even if she never knew Pink Diamond, or about how she had left Spinel for so long.

What gem in their right mind could possibly someone alone for six thousand years on an asteroid. She was in no place to speak, having been insane for so many years.

"And you blame Pink? You're no better than Steven. She was clingy, of course she left her on that miserable little pebble." White hissed in her ear, adding to the growing bit of guilt she dug within Alexandria.

Alex shook her head to clear the voice, at least for now. White was getting worse, her insults still pinged Alex but not like she battered Spinel. She made sure to keep Alex in that growing pit buried in worry and doubt.

Soon the memories started taking a different turn.

Pink's visits to the garden thinned out, after Blue and Yellow gave her that message. Still ever loyal, Spinel would wait, always beaming when her Diamond returned.

Then it happened. Pink was leaving and simply lying to Spinel that it all was a game. A bitter grimace curled her lips up at the name now, Pink, she had hurt so many gems and to her it was all a game even if she said she'd changed. She always ran away from her duties when things got hard. Giving her gem up to Steven was the worst shirking of all, but he pulled such a legacy from the mud of his mother's past actions.

The memories seemed to be all the same now, Spinel standing and waiting for Pink to come back watching as the garden was throne into disarray over thousands of years.

A dagger pierced her heart as she watched the communicator light up and show her message to the galaxy. That had been her idea, for Steven to announce to the universe that he was going to take up his mother's throne and that had been the root of every problem to begin with.

All those years she just screwed everything up, Mia and Sophie's childhoods, the lives of countless gems. Her purest intentions always turning bitter and rancid in the end no matter how hard she tried to ensure the best outcome, someone always suffered from her actions.

Alexandria lost every emotion as she watched Spinel come to earth in her furious stage, poofing the Crystal gems and attempting to poof Steven multiple times and then being poofed herself.

Alex's throat felt tight, Steven had never told her how Spinel suffered and in his haste to save the earth he had left Spinel alone again.

She watched as the pieces fell together and then apart and she could feel every emotions Spinel felt as they met for the first time. It was bitter-sweet. Spinel was so terrified so confused so nervous as she stared Alex up for the first time. And even more confused when Alex had scooped her up into her arms and babbled on about wanting to be her mother.

In hind sight that was one of her best and worst moments. Alexandria the grand ruler of Homeworld, the only reason she adopted Spinel was because she was adorable, and she felt their was so much she could teach her and just something that they shared along the line. Maybe they had both felt that way, abandoned by the ones she loved. For Alex it was slowly instantaneous, and she knew what was happening. Yellow and Blue were leaving her alone. For Spinel, she had the false hope that Pink would return for her and she waited for eons before finding out Pink was no more, in an instant her whole world came crashing. The very person she was made for had served was gone and had never came back and never would.

Alexandria saw the joy and fear as she taught Spinel. Spinel wanted so desperately to please her and now she knew why, not because she was genuinely happy, but because she was worried she would mess up and Alex would toss her aside. Every time Spinel was alone she would scream at herself to not mess up, to keep up this face because it was what Alex wanted, not to let herself get too comfortable in case she got bored with her and decided she didn't want some broken gem.

It tore Alex up inside as she saw and felt everything, every awkward smile was laced with unseen pain. Her greatest concerns were confirmed as she saw that Spinel wasn't genuinely happy with her.

For once, she saw the nightmare Spinel refused to talk about, it was like what she was seeing in her mind, a medley of memories mixed and mashed together to create the scene she saw, the fear, the self doubt. She could honestly say it was a cruel mirror to what she had grown up with as a girl until she submitted that first time Mia really set her off, that hadn't been her it had been a child influenced by White.

The images became a collage, with all the bad memories she had with others somehow crossed with Alexandria. She was abandoning her, she was beating her, she was leaving her, lying to her.

Tears streamed down her face as she watched further, it almost became too much to bear as she watched every painful thing be hidden behind a smile, and sometimes buried by genuine joy if for a moment in time.

Alex watched delight on Christmas morning, just days ago as they all celebrated together, opening gifts and laughing and being happy for that little snap before the doubt returned to gobble Spinel whole.

She snapped awake, tousled blonde hair flying into her face and blocking her wavering view.

She was the cause of Spinel's pain, and she was too scared of her to tell her how she felt.

Like a dagger it cut and twisted, carving at her heart, and White fueled the fire with burning little lies slipped in her ear at the right moment.

Alexandria clutched her sheets, nails ripping through the fabric as she buried her face in her knees and sobbed.

If anyone deserved to feel awful it was her.

if it's not love, what is it? (Steven universe)

Mia glanced at Alexandria from the corner of her golden eyes before refocusing forwards. Today was the day their mothers would give them an annual accuracy test.

Alexandria had nothing to worry about, her mother always saw her as nothing but perfect, until lately.

Maybe it was the little glances and touches the two daughters shared in private. Maybe it was the way they spoke to each other or how they said the others name. They both didn't know, but the only thing they did know was that somehow their mothers knew and that meant they were in trouble should they address it.

Alex bit the inside of her lower lip and stayed unmoving, her eyes catching the slightest flash of silver from her Mother's wandering gaze.

She swallowed and took in a large breath, trying to regain any control she had of the situation and regality.

"Mia your singing should be improving after two years and it seems it's worsened." Yellow Diamond stated, her gold eyes catching the unmoving silver blue of Alexandria and then glaring at White. "Maybe your protégé isn't as good as you proclaim White."

"She's even better than I proclaim Yellow. Your daughter is just stubborn and impossible to teach." White rebutted smugly, a small smirk teasing her ebony lips.

"She's not stubborn. Your daughter is just incapable of teaching such superiority as Mia." Yellow seethed.

"That is the biggest lie I've ever heard you say, Yellow. Alexandria is a wonderful tutor, Mia is a horrible Student."

And like that both of them were at each other's throats again.

Blue looked to the three girls. She had seen the tender touches and flushed glances; She'd heard the soft whispers of nothing and giggles of puppy love. Blue didn't know what would come of it, but she knew that if they continued to hid it any longer it would tear the two of them apart.

"Girls. Come with me." By now Yellow and White had been reduced to petty insults and ridiculous accusations, and as much as Sophie wanted to stay and see who would be the first on to rip out the throat of the other she obediently followed her mother and the other two daughters to a secret place only themselves, their handlers, and mothers knew of.

Covered by a large glass dome of the colors of Homeworld's sky on a bright clear day the garden was always in full bloom, the perfume of a thousand flowers hitting the quartet as the doors hissed open and clapped shut behind them.

Bird flew overhead and called out to each other in sweet calls while a warm summer wind blew across their faces.

"Shouldn't we have waited for them Blue?" Mia asked, her commanding demeanor all but disappearing as she was out from under the strict gaze of her mother.

"No. They'll stop fighting eventually and they will know where to look." Blue stated, sitting on her throne decorated with roses and lilies.

The three girls all sat in the soft grass, feeling it sift through their fingers and tickle their palms.

"I brought you all hear because I know something White and Yellow are either too blind or too stubborn to see or acknowledge. And I know you two know what I'm speaking about." Blue said, gesturing to Mia and Alexandria.

They both turned away from the other, cheeks warming up and turning the color of buttercups and peonies.

"I don't know what you're-"

"That's absolutely baseless-

"We're not-"

"We don't-"

"That's so silly-"

"I don't love-"

"I mean if I did-"

"It wouldn't be so bad but-"

"What would my mother say-"

"We would never-"

"We don't-"

"We're not in love!" The both finally burst, after blubbering sentences and finishing the other had started.

"I see..." Blue hummed and rested her hand under her chin. "You could have fooled me. It's almost like how Yellow and I act when White questions us."

"And you can't say you love me like your mom loves mine Mia. I know you don't look at me like that. Or think of me like that. I'm just the little sister who is into creepy stuff and freaks you all out." Sophie said, resting her head in the heal of her palm with a teasing smirk cast towards Mia.

"Why are you two so against us?! Can't you just not tease us or ask about -that- if Yellow finds out it's Mia who gets punished. If my mother finds out; I'm punished, so is Yellow and Mia! Please can you just not talk about that! WE'RE NOT IN LOVE!" Alexandria screamed, her cheeks turning dark red as tears boiled in the corners of her eyes.

Mia wasn't sure if Alex had meant it at first, her eye were saying one thing while the words permeating from her lips told her another.

She shook her head to remove any tears that could've fallen. "If that's how you feel..." Mia muttered before standing and bowing to Blue and in turn the other daughters. "I will take my leave Blue. There's training I must attend to if I'm to escape the wrath of my mother. Good Day."

A sob choked Mia before she made it to the doors and exited the garden.

Alexandria stared her heart clenching painfully within the confines of her ribs. She didn't understand. Mia had told her that they were to deny their love if ever questioned about it and she had; but something perhaps in the way she worded it stabbed Mia through the heart and made her flee from her presence.

"That was smooth." Blue muttered behind her hand as they all waited in the noise of birds calling and the water fall rushing and stream whispering in the background.

I work at Walmart (Steven universe)

Ok so I think you get it, I work at Walmart. Fun job, great friends, nice pay and you get some pretty great perks every once in a while but that's not what this is about.

I tend to work from opening to closing which is great but not great in its own right.

My coworkers came and said their goodbyes as I finished wrapping things up for the night.

Thunder rumbled and Lorie looked at me with concern in her eyes. "Ya know that I heard this morning about this storm, its supposed to be a real bad one you know."

Sugar and spice and all things nice, that's what little gems are made of (Steven universe)

Sugar and spice and all things nice, that's what little gems are made of.

Nah, I'm kidding.

Gem are made when a mommy gem and a daddy gem love each other very much they go into bed together and the daddy gem takes a magic little daddy wand and-

Are you kidding? Daddy gems? There's no such thing! You're so gullible!

No this is how it happens actually. Pearl! Amethyst! Care to demonstrate?

When the light fades (Steven universe)

"We've lived long enough... Don't you ever want to... die?" That was the inquiry which faced each of them. They had stopped counting the exact age what was it? Sixty? Seventy years ago? Honestly once you passed one hundred and fifty counting seemed rather mute. They each had their own opinion of it, but a choice would be made, and they would go through together.

Alexandra laughed at something, most likely a joke cracked by Mia, and wiped a happy tear from her eye, her melodic bell, so changed from the cackle it had once been in their long past teenage days, fading and her silver almost blue gaze becoming lost within her rippled reflection within her porcelain teacup.

Once upon a time there had been a difference between her and White diamond, but now all that remained of a vivid young woman was a gracefully aged one, full up with three lifetimes of memories. Her once long, platinum hair was now short and neatly curled round her head in a sparkling halo of silver coarse strands. Flawless ivory skin hung in a few corners, round her eyes, forehead, and mouth with obvious and blatant flaws which she took immense pride in. Her happy silver eyes were hiding something yet an open doorway to her soul, so broken and hurt.

Alexandria sighed, rippling the earl grey in her cup. Was any of it worth it now, White?

Sophie reached out her own aging hand, still so soft, just as it had always been, and rubbed Alexandria's knuckles. "Is everything alright Alex?" Her ocean blue eyes held a deep melancholy stare to which Blue diamond couldn't have matched if she had tried. Her peach skin was the youngest of all yet held the deepest canyons of her true age, her once ice blue hair was dark blue-black with a few lighter strands poking through near her head.

Alex sighed deeply once more and patted Sophie's hand under her own, a halfhearted smile reaching her lips, but not her eyes. "Oh, Sophie... Sweet, sweet Sophie, I should never burden you with my sorrows you know that."

Mia frowned, the wrinkles on her dark skin multiplying with the furrowing of her thinned brows. Thin lips pursed thoughtfully, and golden eyes regarded the oldest among them harshly. "We all promised to be honest with each other. Are you breaking that promise?"

Alex gave a light chuckle and shook her head, taking up Mia's weathered hand in her own and brushing the knuckles in tender caress before lifting the hand to her ebony stained lips and kissing the knuckles. "Of course, not Mia," There was a pause for deep, dramatic breath that was let out in a lofty sigh. "We've lived long enough... Don't you ever want to... die?"

The question was so unexpected that each Diamond daughter had to take a moment to herself and ask once more to hear what Alexandria said. Alex pulled her hands away and clasped them on her lap and nodded, repeating what she had said with a concerned but light and airy tone that she always had.

"I want to die, all of us together." Alex said more confidently.

Mia's jaw hung open and Sophie just stared in misty-eyed wonder.

"You want to die?" Mia asked incredulously. "Alexandria, I knew you have always been crazy, but this? Have you gone mad?"

Alexandria took a sip of tea and set her cup down. "No, I'm not. I'm just done... Aren't you two tired of forgetting how many years has passed? How many love's you've lost- oh? That's right... you two still have... one another." Alexandria's voice died. Of course, they didn't get it. Esmerelda had died in a car accident when she was forty-three but that was different from watching your lover draw his last breaths, nor was it the same as birthing a dead child, how she had never gotten the chance to meet her father, truly, Mia and Sophie had not suffered, nor was it fair to try and make them understand. They didn't deserve her pain after all.

"Alex-" Sophie brushed the tears from her eyes and stirred her honey lemon tea, gently clinking the spoon on the side of the china and setting it upon her plate with cookies. "I know that loosing Roman was hard on you, and I know that if anything happened to my Warrior that I would be more heartbroken than words could mend but... To kill yourself. Alex, I hate to say this but perhaps you've lost your mind... You've not even joked about death since we were young women, like when you went through that phase of doom and gloom."

Alexandria laughed, it wasn't airy as it normally was, it was dry and bitter. She stood and excused herself from the table, leaving the two other diamond daughters upon her balcony to finish their tea with their own company since hers seemed to be too depressive upon the group.

"Is she alright?" Sophie inquired of her paramour, nibbling on a cookie while she watched Alexandra leave.

Mia gave a bitter smile. She knew better, she knew she wasn't fine by any means but there was nothing she could do about it, Alexandria wasn't one to listen to her, and in a mood as she was, so destructive yet aloof, it was one of her most dangerous. "No Sophie. I don't think she ever has been."

Alexandria nearly walked into her room but became distracted down the long petering hallways and wound up in front of her mother's favorite fountain. Some granite had been imported from what was left of her first colony and formed into the grand goddess's image. It wasn't even that elaborate, just White diamond rising out of pointed blossoms as they spilled crystal water down into the small pond, which Alex had filled with koi years ago.

She dipped her feet in the cool liquid and sighed. "Mother?" She asked the statue; no answer was ever expected, and she was fine with that. "Do you think that I am crazy? I have felt so much hurt and lived to the point that I am forgetting time itself... I suppose that wouldn't bother you considering how old you are, and please take no offense."

White Diamond had stopped talking to Alexandria after Spinel and Aquamarine's wedding for Alexandria had completely shut her out, nor did she ask her voice, so White diamond just faded away into nothing. Again, Alexandria expelled a long breathy sigh. "I just don't know what to do anymore, mother... Spinel has moved to earth with her paramour and gemlings, Mia and Sophie are usually traveling the universe as part of their retirement... And yet I can neither let go of the past or push on into the future. I'm stuck and it is awful, and I just wish you would tell me what to do..."

White Diamond smiled on in her splendor and the soft breeze filtering through the palace jingled the chimes of her elaborate cloak of chimes. Alex knew that this was so desperately mute, so she left, there was no more guidance to be sought out here.

Sophie and Mia had left the planetary sphere after Alexandria had finished, going off to their summer home in Bulan 6c. Sophie rested her head against Mia's chest as she flew them off, not bothering with the warp technology due to the effect it had upon their aging bones. She sighed at long last and shifted herself to sit, so childlike, like she always had in Mia's arms, her own draped around Mia's neck. "Do you think that Alexandria will be all right? I'm so worried about her with what she said. And we've left her alone. I am just so terribly worried that she might hurt herself."

Mia kissed Sophie's forehead and wrapped her arms around her Paramour and pulled her closer. "She's Alexandria," Mia said, to affirm herself and Sophie. "She has neither been fine nor not fine. I-… I can't say that she will be fine, and I can't say that I'm not worried Soph... Gems... She tortured me all those years but now she is my closest confidant, aside from yourself, and I am worried that she would hurt herself because that's how she's always been. She won't tell anyone anything... She has no confidant nor close friend. Alexandria is just her own entity and we just need to be here to support her no matter what."

Sophie huffed and kissed Mia's neck, settling into her nest within Mia's embrace.

They both loved Alex but hey were unsure of how to take her now. With a thought like that she truly was back to her old lethality, which was greatly concerning, they could talk to Steven other than he was very busy on earth, with his many generations of family, as well as helping hybrids with their own strange lives and helping gem human relations so that his childhood wasn't repeated.

So, both were at a loss, contemplating weather or not they ought to join her in her suicidal endeavor or sway her from it back into... When they truly thought about, what had they done in the last few hundred years that qualified as living? They hadn't really done anything spontaneous since Spinel and Aquamarine's wedding when they were one hundred and thirtyish.

Mia contemplated it with a deathly thought, like the track of Alexandria. If Alexandria died, that would make her the chief matriarch, unless White Diamond returned, and that would place a burden upon her that she knew she wasn't ready to take. She would have imaginary time with Sophie which would be death within itself and the pressure placed upon her would be enough to break her for she knew how Alexandria was so stressed and close to breaking, which surprised Mia that she hadn't really, not until now more or less, and Mia knew that she wasn't as strong, not like that, to last through hundreds, even tens, of years under the full burden of gem matriarch.

Sophie was just thinking how fragile their lives were. Esmerelda had been fused with Green at the time of the accident. But that had almost cost her two children. Green survived but with the guilt of Esmerelda's death, and Sophie lived with the burden of the gift of that ridiculous motor car, which she knew to be unsafe, but it had been Esmerelda's pride and joy. She deeply regretted that. It would be easy to end it and then the guilt would weight upon her no more. She would see her lost child in the afterlife. Maybe. Sophie furrowed her brows and pursed her lips. Was there an afterlife for creatures such as she? She was neither Human nor Gem and Gems didn't exactly have a heaven or a hell unlike humans. But was she really a decent enough human being to even make it to such gates? Perhaps not. Death could wait, it was not eminent, guilt was something she hated living with, but it was her burden to bear.

Alexandria walked through the town, many hybrids who had moved to home-world, greeted her with the fondness that she was the first of them. She had been the mother of a revolution among gems and she was something so beautiful that she was nearly held to the point of goddess yet brought close enough to be friend. Alexandria smiled fondly at them and even greeted some of them by name. They were her subjects more than the gems had ever been, but they were not close to her. People parted around the large glass dome, shaped with beautiful carvings and designs, in some cases Graphiti, to shield the inner most areas from prying eyes.

It had been a gift from Pink to White originally and had become a place of solitude and memorial to her lost daughter. The second the door slammed shut with a hiss of air behind Alexandria, a phantom crashed into Alexandria's ribs and phased through her before stepping back and beaming up with her inherited smile.

Alexandria brushed her cheek, her boney fingers falling through the nonexistent flesh. "And how have you been my flower?"

"Oh, mother! I'm fine! I've missed you! And playing cards with grandma gets boring after a while." Edelweiss said with a dramatic sigh. Alexandria laughed and kissed her forehead; this was the only time where she felt that death had escaped her, and nothing mattered save for her lost child.

"I see." Alex said sitting upon the lush grass with her daughter and sighing. Those thoughts were crawling up her mind once more. And worse still, Edelweiss knew.

"Mother? Are you all right?" Edelweiss looked at her with a tilt, pursing her thin lips and furrowing her fine brows.

Alexandria did not wish to tell Edelweiss, truly, she was too innocent to know the scars of her mother, though the look upon her face showed the maturity and burden shielded hundreds of years of life.

"I wish to die my dear..." Alexandria sighed; she knew that it would make no sense to hide it because it would be found out after she had committed the deed. "I have lived, and, in that time, I killed you too soon. Your father is dead, and now with everything that has added together in all my years that has caused me suffering. I wish to end it. Soon, hopefully."

Edelweiss frowned for a moment and thought then her face lit up again and she reached up to kiss her mother's cheek. "Oh Mother! That would be wonderful, and you could see father and I and you would no longer have to have me only in the garden! Mother that it wonderful and so Inteligent!"

When in heat (Steven universe)

Mia had grown up with the diamonds for the past few years, and they were trying, really trying, to get Homeworld turned around for the better and make it more of an earthen type of place that was decent for all life forms.

The diamonds wanted to make it up to them, Mia more-so, and Mia more-so Steven. The diamonds wanted to make it up to her for basically kidnapping her at age sixteen and trying to make her into something she was not, which Mia never made easy by pushing back against them. But between them now, the bonds they had were well formed and close, almost too close if asked by any of the young men who sought out Mia's attention, which now only seemed to stray as far as gemstones and anything of similar variety. Mia wanted to make it up to Steven because of her actions, and the actions of her mother by placing the cluster in the earth, even though Steven said that they needed to stop paying for the actions of their mother's that was easier said than done.

Of all things that could have happened, Mia partly blamed Steven for leaving her alone with the other two Diamonds, and partly blamed herself for even accepting the polish when Blue offered a round for them all. The polish had been good, albeit a bit strong, but Mia drank it, which she reasoned with herself was fine, she was eighteen as of a three hours ago.

It helped her not that it was the middle of her minstrel cycle which always left her feeling hornier than normal. There were a few things she cursed her mother for; one of which being a eons long war and the other being her keen, almost animalistic like senses and pheromonic like perfume, undetectable by humans unless they were close but clearly pungent to gems and other alien species alike, even animals in the unfortunate mishap that caused all the human zoo animals to need sedatives or be thrown off their choosing schedule. So, Mia dutifully sat, legs crossed tight and listened as plans from the others continued to be read to them by ever dutiful Pearls, even as the polish made her glow and feel quite light but also very heavy and bothered of all other things.

"Are you alright Mia?" Blue asked softly, clearing her throat and swallowing, both her cheeks and White's flushed at the scent of arousal upon the young hybrid woman who was forcing down her own blush at the growing scent she fumigated into the room.

"Fine, thank you Blue." Mia's voice was a squealy pitch and despite her best efforts at composure, her body betrayed her when she stood for a quick exit, a gush of fluids, minstrel and arousal combined, and she cursed herself for feeling safe enough to wear light colored, tight slacks. A dark flush burned her cheeks and she swallowed a growl, aside from flaring nostrils, the diamonds hadn't noticed her situation at the moment.

It would appear that fate had frowned upon her and both Diamonds were standing, Mia might have grown in the past two years but she was no where near the height of either of them, especially at full size, but that was one thing she was grateful for, her new powers making it a lot easier to stay closer to their heights without straining herself. Mia felt rather trapped, either way she went she would have to walk past the two of them to get out of the room, and shrinking herself down wasn't exactly the smartest option ever.

White inhaled deeply and stood, her hip grating on the table side as she moved towards the young woman, Blue diamond following suit until they stood upon either side of her. Don't look down, whatever you do, don't look down. Mia repeated this mantra in her head because she knew if she did things would get really awkward, not that they weren't already.

It would be safe to look down to her left at Blue, whose thick robes provided some shield of privacy but her eyes were dangerously alluring and so that option of directional stare would be martyring. But so would the stare of White diamond, who had the authority to tell Mia what to do with that mercury stare, not that Mia would obey, but to glance down, Mia would've cursed aloud at White and her skin tight leotard. Their bodies were pressing dangerously close as they eased Mia back into her chair, their large and equally dangerous bosoms at either side of her face while their dangerous hands began trailing her body.

And then it happened.

Her lips weren't virgin, she'd kissed Sour cream and Lars before, on the mouth even, but she had never kissed a woman, let alone two at once.

Everything blurred from then on. More polish, kisses, touches, nips, firm squeezes, and two bodies pressed so close that there was no barrier between them. Absolutely none.

When the light of dawn burned through upon Mia's eyes, she groaned and sat up, shivering at the cold air upon her bare skin. She flopped backwards into the bed, only to sit up with a cringe as she landed in something wet and sticky.

Wherever she was, it wasn't her room, it was instead a large crystalline room, with no apparent doorways or exits and entrances, but she could hear Blue and White murmuring and barely make out their silhouettes through somewhere where steam was wafting out. As Mia moved she partially marveled at how the colors refracted and bounced light around the room. Which was quite barren. Looking around the only piece of furniture that she saw was the rumpled silver cushion and comforter with little pillows in the colors of the diamonds, it really was a strange and comfortable place, even if Mia couldn't remember how or what happened here.

"She's up," Blue's voice called and Mia watched her shape come closer and become clearer as she appeared to phase through the walls. "Good morning Mia, do you want to come join White and I in the bathhouse?" She was butt ass naked.

Usually, which was a peculiar convince for Mia, the diamonds bathed in their full clothes, or saunaed, but whatever it was they never changed, in fact she had asked about it once and White had merely laughed saying that they did it because gems wouldn't be able to handle them naked, not even another diamond. She hadn't lied. Mia shuddered as her cheeks burned but words could not be formulated as she stood their, lithe as a Pearl and naked as a baby before the oceanic Goddess.

This was only to say that Blue diamond was just that lovely, from the pout of her lips and defined chin, slender neck and shoulders, tapering down to a decent G sized breasts which would've looked odd upon anyone else, a slightly pudgy stomach with a few Alice blue hairs and finally her thick hips and shapely thighs supported by well built legs, and Mia shuddered at the thought of what might've happened last night, especially when she saw her stained slacks laying in the corner, ripped up the entire inseam.

Mia swung her legs out of bed and hissed at any movement of her legs, tears forming in her eyes. This wasn't right.

Blue sauntered over and helped Mia stagger to the bathhouse, a smile on her lips even as Mia struggled through every step. "You were wonderful last night love." Blue kissed her cheek and helped her around the corner to sit upon a ledge before she descend into the water where White diamond soaked, nodding in agreement.

White diamond physically was the contrast between the two. Her features were sharp, but only so much, her shoulders weren't as broad as Yellow diamond's had been, and her breasts were perfectly in between the G cup and B cup breasts at a sizable D cup and barely defined muscles all the way down to her slender hips and thighs, only curvy enough by some strange default.

"Last night?" Mia asked, although she really thought she knew by now. "What happened last night?"

"We," White diamond sighed leisurely and scooted closer to both of them. "Had the most mind-blowing sex imaginable."

Mia blinked and looked down, her tremors causing the water to ripple in great waves.

Blue looked at her with concern. "You're alright, aren't you Mia? Did we go to far?"

It made sense why she struggled feeling her legs now, and it unfortunately explained that sticky fluid covering that cushion. Mia shook her head and closed her eyes, god, how was she going to tell Sour cream? "No, no it's not okay I-... I've never had sex before. I've never even seen anyone else's stuff before!" Suddenly her eyes were open and her voice cracked. "I've never even masturbated before!"

The air was heavy with silence and moisture as both White and Blue realized what they had done. After minutes of uneasy silence White chuckled softly, unsurely. "It was at least good though, wasn't it?"

"I don't know!" Mia screeched, hugging herself and sinking further into the water, she was a disgusting slut and there is no way anyone would have her now, not after essentially sleeping with her aunts.

"At least tell me you didn't finish inside me," their faces said it all, that sticky stuff had probably only been a few wasted droplets, the rest was inside her. Mia laughed dryly and wiped at her tears. "It's fine, it's fine. It's just my virginity, it's not that important or that I was waiting for marriage but it's fine. We can just forget this happened because, thank God I'm on my period, and can't get pregnant!"

Mia expected some sort of laughter, it had been funny but they remained dead silent.

"Gems don't work that way when in their cycle, Mia..." Blue murmured, looking at Mia from downcast eyes, the tremors were back. "But the chances of you getting pregnant are low. I mean if a diamond got pregnant every time someone unloaded gallons of fluids in her there would be at least a thousand green, light blue, and golden diamonds running around the galaxy."

"At least!" White echoed, moving right beside Mia and wrapping her arms around her shoulders. "We're sorry darling, but it wasn't exactly us, it was more polish and pure instinct than anything else. Had we known... we're sorry."

Mia didn't say anything, she just broke down and wept, which wasn't entirely like her and yet as half human it was to be expected just the same from her.

Mia had holed up in her chambers with double the guards, which now ranged far further in type than it had before, at her door. She didn't eat despite Pearl and Steven begging her to. She didn't speak although Steven tried to find out what was wrong. And the diamonds didn't even bother her, which she was grateful for.

Mia was still trying to figure out if it had just been drunk sex, instinctual breeding, or rape. All options seemed viable. Unfortunately so did the diamonds essence within her.

Two whole months and not even a single sign her minstrel cycle would start up again. Whatever happened that one night had taken hold and was now growing within her, in fact when she looked in the mirror Mia saw a bit of pudge and knew that she definitely had a problem.

She could enlist in a guard to beat her middle to a pulp essentially and that would solve the problem. But she figured that White and Blue knew, in some sense, because they were always sniffing the air around her and giving her wide eyed looks. Mia also knew that she would have to live with the guilt of killing her first child. But was it even a child? At this point, according to her research it was just a blob inside her so could she really feel guilty about it?

Mia sighed, that was not an ignominy she wanted lingering on her consciousness for the rest of her life so she let it be.

Blue diamond came to her first, as it was only a few days from Steven's sixteenth birthday, and at least wanted to sit with the young woman who was hunched over a canvas creating smooth brush strokes of a flower from a colony that was on the brink of extinction, the proceeds from the painting would be used to help preserve it, but that was beside the point. Blue was here to tell Mia that she knew.

"White and I are still so deeply sorry Mia," Mia had heard that how many times now? She'd forgotten, and sighed irritably. "But we want you to know that whatever you decide to do with our geode-"

That was new. And absolutely infuriating.

Mia barked with a laugh as her brush smeared a bit of pollen into the leaf as result of the interruption. Blue seemed taken aback by the laughter but the cold and empty stare Mia set upon her with those gilded eyes simply burned.

"Our?" she laughed again and set her brushes aside and swiveled around on her stool. "Blue. Just because you and White fucked me. Which resulted in my impregnation. Doesn't mean that either of you can lay any sort of claim to my child."

Blue sighed and placed a hand over her gem. "Oh, what a relief. We were so worried that you would've killed them."

Mia flinched but her gaze was no less intense. She spun away from Blue and swallowed shakily, harshly rinsing out the brush she'd been using. "I'm distraught. Not murderous."

"Well I'm only trying to state that it would be nice if you wouldn't secluded yourself so much. We miss you and-"

"Then you should have thought about that before screwing me!" Mia yelled throwing her paintbrush at Blue, but it missed and impaled itself into the wall.

Blue shuddered and shook her head, standing up and collecting her skirts to leave. She paused at the door and looked back at the shuddering and disheveled woman. "Just let us in... when you're ready. But soon please."

Steven sat with Mia in her sauna, it wasn't often since the dismantling of the gempire that they got to be together like this, and it had been a while since she'd been alone with anyone close to her since she was violated. Steven sighed and sat back, while Mia was hunched over her knees, staring at her midsection. It had begun to noticeably grow, but to anyone else it was just pudginess.

Steven gave a chuckle. "It's good to see you start filling out," he meant it kindly and Mia shot him a glance and a halfhearted smile. "I was worried I'd have to start bringing you back more sweets from Lars's bakery."

Mia chuckled and shook her head, let it be, let it be.

"You know, when was the last time you saw Lars? Or Sour cream? I'm sure they miss you."

A purpose. Of course.

"Things have been pretty busy... I want to see them but... I just have things I need to finish and... yeah. " Mia said, what a lame excuse, but it didn't change anything, he didn't even know, he didn't need to, he was turning sixteen and she needed to let him enjoy it.

"Oh," he said and swung his legs, watching as pink fluid dribbled from his skin and beaded down his body and slid into the drain. "If you ever want to go back, you can always see me, I'll be there."

Mia shot straight up. "You're not staying here? Ascending to Pink Diamond's throne?"

"Nah, it's... just not my thing." Steven shrugged, looking down as the yellow and pink fluids swirled together.

"Yeah..." Mia sighed and watched the same scene as him, her posture returning to its hunch. "Do..." She had to gag. "Do White and Blue know about this?"

He rubbed his arm and shook his wet curls. "Yeah- no."

Mia laughed and shook her head, standing up and fizzling all the moisture off her skin. "Then today is going to be fun."

Steven copied her and stole one last look at the drain, where the trail ends of her essence trickled down the drain, and he took notice to the different hues mixed, tinting the ends of it mint green. Steven shook his head, he'd been in here too long.

White had finished her story, which was entertaining in all truth, allowing Mia to comfortably smile around them even if she wanted to gag at their presence and punch them. But it was a live broadcast so that would be highly inappropriate for her.

But singing with them, separated by their thrones of course, was nice. Mia didn't recall when she had ever heard either White or Blue sing and she really wished that they sang more often, even though she knew it was a special treat to hear any of their voices. White diamond had such a wonderful range and Blue could hit wonderful high notes in that soft Irish broches of hers while you had Mia and her deep gravelly voice struggling for that one high note. It was actually fairly nice.

A strange thought crossed her mind. White's voice, so perfect for storytelling, it would be wonderful to read to their children, and Blue would be the best at lullabies or motherhood in general, but these odd thoughts would have to wait for later as Steven just dropped the biggest bomb shell on live television.

Mia struggled to hold back her laughter as the other diamonds begged him to stay and take up the throne. And then they sang, recall how beautifully they sang before, when it was planned out, but oh, going off scratch was just as amazing, Mia had to stop herself from shuddering at the pleasurable sound that rocked her to her very gem.

In fact, strangely enough, hearing them sing actually eased the throbbing of her gemstone and washed her in a sense of comfort like she'd never known before. So strange and pleasant.

Blue and White pounced upon the warp pad, where Steven was preparing to leave from and enjoined of him again this time with their good deeds.

"I never shatter," Blue stated proudly, as though it would make him stay, there was a desperation in her too, Mia knew it too well from other day. "I never make anyone cry."

"And I've been saying please! And thank you! Even to lower... equal life forms." White gagged, caught herself, making the correction only to gain a glare, she was improving, she was!

"Good save, but I really gotta go." Steven said with an uneasy chuckle at the large closeness the two giant women provided him.

"But we've done everything!" White cried.

"Everything you've asked!" Blue echoed with a pout.

"That's great, keep it up. Bye!" In a flash, Steven universe diamond was gone to earth, leaving Mia alone, alone, so very alone, now with the two gems she really didn't want to be around.

They stood and looked at her. Words bubbled upon thick and pouty lips but Mia didn't let them say it. Who was she kidding? She'd never have a chance with Lars or Sour cream after this so she might as well give into the inevitable. Besides, even if she wasn't her mother and wasn't really obligated to stay for her gems she really should stay for the growing life within her because it wasn't just hers. She merely was the ground in which the seeds had been planted.

Mia closed her eyes and looked down slightly, holding her arms open in a partial hug, to which both Diamonds entered and squeezed, mindful of their strength and her middle.

"Oh, Sunshine, thank you so, so much! We're sorry! Please don't leave us and take our geodes away from us! We're so sorry!" White blubbered, it was true that she was perfect, but when it came to crying, her over dramatic nature made it worse than when Mia cried.

Mia pushed them away and held their shoulders, her eyes stern. "Don't take advantage of this. Either of you," they deflated at that. "I've got rules and you'll need to keep them if you want this to work out," a tearful nod from each. "One, enough of this sorry business! I get it but it's not going to make it better, the thought is nice but the word is empty now. Two, no ogling over me or my belly or stressing about what I'm doing, I'll be fine. Three, don't do anything to hurt us, because I will rip them out of your lives so fast that you'll end up with whiplash, got it?"

They nodded quickly. "We promise, we swear! Oh, thank you Mia!"

Well, it was decided, against Mia's will as it normally was, but White and Blue got this grand idea. They'd go to earth and help with things from there in order for Mia to have the most comfortable and natural pregnancy possible, and they'd have Steven and her little friends to help, it would be perfect. Oh, and of course they would have to meet her parents since this needed to be proper, and they would be so charming that Sandy and Alexander would feel safe leaving her with them (even though Mia didn't need parental permission considering she'd raised herself from age sixteen).

But here they were with the earth in disarray.

"What're you guys doing here?" Steven asked nervously as White brought them from the ships in a bubble.

"They were talking -we have something we need to tell you by the way- and got this crazy plan and I'm sorry what's that stench?" Mia asked as she held a hand over her mouth and her stomach, the scent of burnt everything and gemicals, plus White using the bubble method to transport them in and out of the ship, which she knew was not a smart thing to do earlier, and spending the entire trip barfing out anything she'd eaten in the last week. It was coming up again.

"I don't smell anything!" Steven chirped optimistically, they didn't need to know.

Mia didn't dare speak, because if she did the vomit at her lips would go flying, so instead she turned on heal and looked for a sizable piece of debris to puke behind.

Blue cringed at the sight but turned back to the topic. "Anyways we were talking and-"

"You're taking too long!" White scolded, elbowing Blue. "We've decided to come live on earth!"

"No we haven't!" Mia quipped before resuming her expulsion.

Then White and Blue began to kiss up, of course it didn't work on Steven, and neither did White's dramatics, which led to her bringing Mia back, who was wiping her mouth on her hand, when Steven mentioned a name.

In the end, and one musical number later their family of gems grew by one more, which would soon welcome another addition still in the later months.

Mia still kept her distance.

There were times she felt so miserable that she wanted the diamonds to burn in gem hell for what they had done to her and yet there were other times that she just needed them to hold her, hold her gently and hold her close. It's all she needed.

Spinel kept them all busy, playing games and asking questions, to which they all would eagerly reply, so long as it wasn't Mia puking her brains out.

But for the moment, the almost childlike Spinel was dangling from one of White's hair points in Blue's bath, while Mia stood at the base of the tub debating her entry and weather her clothes ought to be abandoned or not. Eventually she decided in under garments only and climbed up the steps to slide into the tub between the two and the little gem.

Spinel, as she normally did, had a question. "So Yellow is like Steven, but she's not Steven. And her name is Mia?"

Mia sunk lower into the water, till only her lips were exposed and blew bubbles, she loved Spinel but she hated how people started talking about her as if she wasn't there.

"Yes, she is Spinel," Blue stated proudly, with a smile. "And we love her dearly."

Her cheeks grew hot, but Mia sat and listened as Spinel did a cannonball into the water before asking another question. "So who's the sire?"

Mia dipped her head all the way under the water, and screamed into her cheeks, but White had an answer for the taffy gem. "We're hoping it's both of us."

"Humans don't work that way," Mia breached the water and shook her head, just to annoy the diamonds with the spray. "I've told you that, and even chances of you both getting me pregnant are less and two percent, and that's just a rough estimate."

"But it's still possible." Blue argued, tucking her hands under her arms so not to reach out and place a hand upon Mia's middle. White and Blue resorted to pouting but Spinel still had her many inquiries that she wanted to be answered, in fact she had one that none of them had even thought of asking themselves.

"So how's that gonna work? With you having Yellow's gem 'n all. Will you just pass her gem onto the geode?"

Mia looked at both the elder diamonds who just stared at her with mouths agape, and a shudder ran through them. Mia touched her gem under a shuddering finger and really thought, asking that was something that had never crossed her mind. Would her future childbirth, only six or so months out, end in the same tragedy that her birth had been? Blue and White had one another but that wouldn't be fair to ask one to raise the other's child, even then, how would it be explained to her family? She hadn't even told her brothers or Sandy... Maria and Alexander didn't matter to her, but to loose her life for a child she really didn't want? Was that worth keeping relations and some sense of sanity? Her conscience free of guilt? Mia began to have second thoughts about this. A human child with Sour cream (Possibly Lars's if things didn't work out with him and Sadie and Sour cream and Mia.) would be able to be healed by Steven in the event that there was an ailment, her gem wouldn't be needed because human DNA would be the dominant trait as it would take up close to 3/4 of the genetic spectrum but any child she would have with the diamonds would have 2/3 gem genetic meaning that if they didn't have a gem, because being human, Mia truthfully shouldn't be able to produce a geode and a sound gem for the child to live, meaning that she would have to give up her gem if they wanted the child to live and Mia wasn't done with life yet. She'd never seen either of her love interests naked or said all the things that she wanted to do with them, the things she wanted them to do to her, both of them (Which was a new one, thanks to the diamonds) or even had a chance to marry them. Heck she'd never even had a chance to see dick! And White and Blue didn't count on part of their anatomy being entirely different. There were so many regrets she had, so much life she had left to live. If only she were older, but no! Fate hade decided that she would end up dying months before her nineteenth birthday.

White and Blue both looked down in shame. Through the polish and the pheromones floating around their brains that night, accompanied by the lust they had felt for Yellow's child, didn't allow them to consider the fact that a mostly gem child would need a carrier who could safely recreate a gem. There were experiments that Yellow had done in Pink's absence on gems and Geode carrying, some even dating so far back to pre-Pink Diamond, and the uptick had happened after her faux shattering, they might work, but neither of them knew enough about her experiments to even try it.

Yellow was always doing some sort of Frankenstein experiments in whatever free time she had, but had hardly shared her findings with the other diamonds. The cluster was the only thing either of them knew about off of the top of their heads that she shared with them, and even Yellow Pearl was blank when it came to the things her mistress did. The screams that echoed across space, although only rumors, were said to be the most painfilled and horrifying sound known to gem.

Still, the chance that they might save Mia and their geode was worth some sort of a risk.

There was a tidal wave of water as both Blue and White bailed out of the tub and scrambled to dry themselves before crashing into one another in the doorway as they hurried out in search of the information.

Mia and Spinel each looked at each other blankly and shrugged, carefully emptying the tub and climbing out to follow the wet trail left in the Diamonds wake.

Well the diamonds came to a sector in Yellow diamond's palace that didn't have any electricity and was rumored to be haunted by ghosts of her supposed experiments, and even if it wasn't true it still was plenty horrific to the diamonds, who clung to one another's hand and walked through the hallways with only their gems for light.

"I know that we want to protect her White but can't we, I don't know, do this without coming here personally?" Whimpered Blue, flicking her head back to look behind them as something clattered hollowly.

"Nonsense," White shuddered, tugging the younger forwards. "There's nothing here, it's just an old and uncared for wing of the palace. Nothing frightening."

The came before a door, the only apparent door at the end of the hall, and tried to open it, but it wouldn't budge.

"Don't be a pyrite." A voice sounded behind them and they whipped around in fear with a shriek only to see a smirking Mia and curious Spinel.

The door creaked open and old lights flickered on while Mia strode past the two shell shocked entities, who just stared at her.

Before either could bother questioning her, Mia answered. "Pearl showed me this after Blue broke my wrist," Mia held up the old affliction, which still was slightly crooked. "And told me about what my mother was doing. I don't come here because I have never wanted any part in her experiments but..." Mia pressed a side panel and the small room enlarged and the hallways disappeared to reveal containers, shelves, and cells with creatures, broken misshapen creatures and an assortment of other things.

Now if Blue and White hadn't been gaping before they did now, the roof comprised of bubbles of shards, the far wall holding the cells of what appeared to be animals and gems, or even gem shards, a few dead carcasses in some of the cages. The next wall had containers with ground up gemstones, each labeled by type, fusions, forced fusions, and so on, shards were indistinguishable from one another. The wall opposite the cages was a vast work station with a floating chair and some one way windows and a toggle, allowing the viewer to either look upon homeworld, another planet, or the testing until beyond the glass. The final wall was mostly barren, save for a few shackles and bindings, all fit for a diamond. There were a few tools lining that wall as well, but far out of reach for that most damaged sector, where the diamond sized shackles lay.

"What was she doing here?" White gasped, reaching up for a bubbled gem, one that looked identical to hers only far smaller and black in color.

"I don't know. But whatever it was, it was on shattered gem shards," Mia shrugged, rubbing her arms. "I never liked coming here, like I said, it's messed up."

Blue picked up a diamond pad and opened it, a warning that it was full popping up when she did. Blue dismissed it and scrolled further, skimming over the texts.

Gem shards.

Gem dust.

Diamond Essence; White, Myself, Blue, Pink.

Experiment Xfg-46G, suitable for living, demonstrating similar characteristics to Pink, but only the tantrums. Expired by bludgeoning its cranium.

Test 4x-T. Scales, spines, venom. form unstable.

D-54f. Too small. Characteristics unidentifiable. Feral.

That was merely a handful of the things that she saw and there were so many more, it would take years just to get through one at the rate Yellow had packed these. Whatever it was that Yellow Diamond was doing, it wasn't legal. Blue could only wonder what had possessed her to create gemically grown gems, or even fuse animals with gem shards.

She walked over to the cages and stared at the many animals of alien and even earthen variety. Either binds of light were holding the gems or shards in place, and showed little to no change, some were fused in the skin like Steven and Mia's were -these animals were the healthiest by far- but they still looked to be in pain, then there was the one with the shards, those were the worst by far. They shards under their skin glowed the most sickly light Blue diamond had ever witnessed and the area was infected, terribly so.

Blue reached a hand in, if she recalled correctly these things had been called Maddusks, a creature similar to earthen tigers but made of a slime like substance that allowed them to hover, it looked so miserable laying against the floor. Blue's hand was inches from the gelatinous coat when Mia zapped her in the back and yanked her away by here hair.

"What was that for?!" Blue screeched, holding her scalp and panting.

Mia didn't say anything, just held her hand over her gem, while the other propped up against her knee as she panted for breath. "Feral. They all are. It's a result of the gemically made gems and the infection. Don't touch." Her voice didn't sound like her own, it was deeper and older, but it disappeared the very second Mia's lips closed and she stood back up.

"Yellow diamond is the only one allowed to mess with these things... Can we just go... I... I'm feeling really sick." Mia begged, staggering into White's arms.

Blue just stared as White escorted Mia out of the room, in a dazed sense of shock, what had just happened? Spinel stretched her small hand up and took Blue's, leading the Diamond out of the hall as the lights turned off and the walls began folding back up. She stole one last glance back at the strange light coming from those creatures before the paneling closed it completely from sight.

Between the two of them, they got Mia to the medical wing of the palace. White far more helpful than the distracted Blue diamond.

Don't remember me, because I won't remember you (My little pony Equestria girls)

"Star, kiddo let's ga-O!" Diamond rainbow shouted up the stairs, large saddle bags slung over she shoulder as she waited impatiently for her daughter.

The one who came down the stairs though, was not Star, but a close enough look a like being her daughter.

"Great you're here, let's grab the horses and hit the trails!"

"Grandma, it's me, Nidera. Mom's packing the car." Nidera grunted, twisting out of the elderly woman's grasp.

"Nidera? Whose that? C'mon Star, quit pulling my leg, we were going to go trail riding today, you said." Diamond babbled innocently, giving the grey skinned girl a tilted head and confused look.

"Mom, she's doing that thing again! Can you come here and set her straight? Again? She thought I was you... Again." The teenager groaned, walking out of the ranch mansion and getting into the awaiting van.

Star groaned and gave her daughter a scolding glance before turning her attentions to her mother. "Momma, We aren't going trail riding. I was going to take the kids camping, remember? With my husband?"

"No, When'd you get married? Who'd you marry?! Not that boy you fawned over in grade-school! Oh, heaven help my heart, not him!" Diamond wailed, a hand placed upon her heart.

"Yes him. Let's go unpack your saddle bags and then I'll head off and-"

"Don't you do that to me young lady! I'mma go trail riding with Ace this weekend even if I have to do it alone. Since you've got a family and such and didn't invite me." Diamond huffed, brushing back the greying pieces of her rainbow hair out of her face and proceeding for the door.

"Momma... Ace died almost thirty years ago... When I was twelve. We've been over this. Why don't you go into the parlor and sit with dad, and mom and Danahi?" Star sighed, trying to guide Diamond into the parlor to no avail.

"Ace ain't! He... He's right out in the barn isn't he?" Diamond's tone caught and tears brimmed in her eyes. Every time Star told her again. she would break down. It was part of her condition, which was caught far too late. She was forgetting everything.

At first it was just forgetting her car keys last year and then it spiraled to her forgetting names and faces of her grandkids, and then to complete years. She still remembered Star's childhood, most of it anyways, and she would forget where she was, who she was.

It was painful for her family. Diamond's grandchildren just dealt with it as they barely knew any better. Her friends and remaining family would try and comfort her and tell her stories of something she forgot for a whole day and still she didn't remember.

With a sigh, Star left her in the foyer to cry about her horse long since dead.

In a moment of lucidity, Diamond rainbow told Danahi her plan, and he agreed. Danahi hated seeing her suffer even if she didn't know she was. It killed her to see the pain her forgetfulness was causing her family and so she was going to stop that once and for all.

The waves crashed over the bow of the boat as it sped through the clear blue waters, the moon creating silver crests atop the waves.

"Are you ready, D? We don't have to... It's not too late to go back." Danahi said softly, turning the boat off and standing ready to disable the navigation and tracking.

"If you want to go, go. I have to do this. If I don't I'm going to forget something, something important and I'm going to hurt them, or worse... At least now I know I had control. This is my choice. I want this. The jet ski is right over there, if you want to leave me, then go please. I don't want you to suffer because of me." Diamond stated solemnly, staring at him with clear blue eyes.

He knelt before her and kissed her knuckles. "I would follow you to the ends of the earth. I told you when you first hatched this plan that I would do it with you. I promised to love and cherish you forever. I meant it then when we got married and I mean it now."

"Alright then, get to it. The sooner this is over the sooner I can remember you and your face and your love. I'll see my parents again... I'll see Ace and Champion... I will see them all and my aunts and... It'll be good." Her voice cracked as she settled into the lower bunk.

Brushing away her tears with a large calloused thumb, Danahi stood and finished the task of disabling any saving grace the would have.

She smiled and took two sleeping pills, passing him the bottle and then the water bottle.

Diamond didn't want her family to see her gone, it was better if she just disappeared from their lives and that's exactly what she was going to do.

The two of them went to sleep for the final time, letting the small boat drift on the water all night, getting smashed to smithereens by a passing cargo ship.

Switching roles (Steven Universe)

They absolutely hated Alexandria.

When she finally decided to marry Roman, not without protests from both White and Spinel, Alexandria decided that she would spare no expenses and that it would stretch across the Galaxies. The party wasn't minded, and neither was the White court, but the after party left both Sophie and Mia absolutely exhausted but unable to sleep due to the polish floating in their systems.

Between the two of them, they decided to wear it off by having some fun, unfortunately, whiskey dick is actually a thing that Mia had to cope with before they did anything.

Sophie had other plans.

"Darling?" She questioned, palming Mia's nonexistent chest. "What if I was on top tonight?"

Mia groaned in response as Sophie tugged and pinched what was in her hands. "You know I will never say no watching you bounce."

"You know that's not what I meant," Sophie hissed, grazing her teeth along Mia's neck and collarbone. "I want to be the one who watches you bounce."

Mia blushed and cleared her throat, mewling and twitching as Sophie teased her with a finger. It wasn't that Sophie had never fingered her before, they actually did that a lot and found it heightened their pleasure, but Mia had never been the female role in any of those interactions.

"Talk to me," Sophie kissed Mia's lips and caressed her cheek gently. "Tell me what you want."

"I-..." Mia groaned and held a hand over her face, she would live to regret this, but for now, she felt too horny to care. She reached her hand down past Sophie, she would have to help Soph coax it out, because it had never came out to play before.

Mia pinched a certain spot above where she normally would work Sophie and Mia felt Sophie buck into her hands. "Good girl, just take it easy."

What am I supposed to be? (Steven universe)

Long before any of them met they were just young girls who had undetermined but mapped out destinies, over protective alien guardians, crazy advanced ships that looked like various body parts and two of them had wonderfully doting fathers while the other had way too many siblings so didn't get as much desired attention from her father. Oh, and one other thing; they all had mother's with pasts nobody would talk about and their mothers disappeared when they were born, not dead just not alive or in the physical realm or same star system as them currently.

They all lived scattered across the earth.

The eldest lived in New York city New York in a posh penthouse and had everything she could have ever wanted, a maid, a butler, a cook, a driver, a dutiful servant of her mother's who was as shady as she was kind and open hearted, another associate of her mother's a strange woman with multiple arms and an overprotective attitude, and her ever doting father who would have his own head severed if it would make his princess happy.

The second lived in Las Vegas Nevada, and while she didn't have everything she was alright with what she had. Her dog a large mix that she found after some research into his pedigree was a mix of Russian bear dog, pitbull, doberman pinscher, boxer, and golden labradoodle, over all her dog was big enough and scary enough looking that you would probably mess your pants if you made him mad or hurt his owner but it was only a facade, Pyrite was like his name he looked the part but was not anything like that a real sweet heart in truth. And again the shady but caring former friend of her mother's who swore to protect her, then her stepmother who was more of a parent than her father was, her younger twin brothers and lastly her little sister who she "hated" and no one would get her to say otherwise. Now granted her life wasn't as posh as the first but it was still amazing nonetheless.

Now the third, the youngest, she perhaps had the least out of the three. She moved from town to town with her photographer/ painter father, the friend of her mother's and her pet ferret. She might not have ever had a a permanent home but she actually preferred her traveling style to that of other people because she got to see the world, life was her palette and she treasured every natural beauty.

Now perhaps you are wondering; what does a rich New Yorker princess, a Nevada desert tomboy and a nomadic girl have in common with each other and how am I supposed to write a story with this crazy cast? Well allow me to tell you...

It happened by pure chance the day that they met him and their lives changed forever, the bonds of fate weaving them together.

(Alexia's P.O.V.)

I stared out the window as I waited for daddy to get home, he promised me a surprise and I couldn't help trying to guess, but each time I did, Opal would tell me I was wrong as she always did and return to sharpening her axe.

I never thought about how unnerving the scraping sound was as I'd heard it since before I could remember, and sometimes I would even find it soothing.

"Do you think it's a new bow? Or maybe a dress? Oh! Matching bows for Diamonds and me? Matching dresses? Matching dresses and bows?!" I squealed, as I saw the familiar white limousine parked in front of the apartment complex I called home.

"It's probably a new doll or something like that Whi- Alexia. You know I'm not into frou frou but I stand it for you. And your mother. Whatever it is though, I can promise you you'll love it. -And no; I do not know what it is so don't ask." Opal said, never taking her eyes off the axe as one set of her arms held it in place while the other ran a strange stone over it.

I pouted for but a moment before my mood perked when daddy walked through the door.

I ran to him, clinging to his legs and smiling brightly.

"Oh! Daddy! Daddy! Daddy what'd you bring me? Where is it? Can I see it? Oh please daddy what is it? Where is it? " I rambled on excitedly.

"Well hello to you too Alexia. I did have a wonderful day at work and yes I do have a surprise for you but what might your mother say about your manners? Hmmm?"

"Daddy..." I drug the word out and pleaded with my puppy dog eyes as he fished in his coat and pulled out what had to be my gift.

"Alright, alright. Here you are princess. " Daddy chuckled, handing me the silver envelope which my long nails tore into.

I gasped as I pulled out plane tickets, one for me, daddy, Opal and lastly for Pearl. I couldn't help squealing and clutching his leg, thanking him profusely as they were for my favorite place in the whole world.

(Mariana's P.o.v)

I ran the long metal comb through the last of my hair and then Pyrite's as I waited for Sandra to get off work. She'd promised me we would go on a road trip to my favorite town for spring break just her, I and Pyrite, well ok, Pearl came too. It was something we'd done since I was younger as a bonding ritual for us.

The door to the back porch slammed shut and I snapped up to look at my brothers as they ran in, Aden chasing Zane with a piece of rope.

"Stop that, you guys before someone gets hurt!" I snapped, glaring cold daggers at them. They flinched and dropped the rope section and dropped to their knees, scooting closer to Pyrite and me.

"Is Sandra back? We have to get ready to go." I said, but the whine was clear in my tone.

"Nope." Little Z said, shaking his head of black hair.

"She said she'd be back tonight and that'd you'd leave tomorrow morning for-"

"BEACH CITY!" I laughed at their antics, no matter how bad my day was they always made it so much brighter.

(Sophia's POV)

The world around me whipped by in blurring colors as we chased the sunset.

I was never tired of following the fading crimson because dad always said that, that is how he met my mother, taking photos at sunset and stumbling onto her, literally.

That was one of my favorite stories that wasn't a horror story. Pearl didn't understand my liking for them but I would always shrug and continue to the unfazing fright that often made dad clam up.

I didn't know where we were going but it was towards the west, that I knew.

Sometimes I was jealous of the girls I would meet, most of them never moved from that spot but I had traveled around the world and back again since before I was born. Dad says I can out when he was on the road and probably didn't mind horrors because my mother would often retell her stories of fright to an unborn me.

I pursed my lips, my mother, it was such a bitter topic. I didn't know her name, her face, her voice, anything. I just knew I looked like her and sounded like her but I wasn't her, I was told that everyday by Pearl; I wasn't my mother and I never would be.

The mystery of my mother, like any good mystery is always best from the beginning, but as everyone tells me that's me and I can't unravel this oddity.

"We're almost there, Sophia." Pearl droned, her voice sounded sweet but I could hear the bitterness. In living with my dad and traveling with him, I learned from a young age how to read people. Even the most unreadable like Pearl.

I glanced out the windshield and saw the water of the ocean reflecting the sun which we could no longer chase. The ocean was always a bitter reminder too. I always thought of my mother when I saw it or even heard about it! Its beauty, its power, its color, everything about it enraged me.

What kind of mother has their child and then leaves one week later. She's not dead, everyone says that. She just disappeared one day, she was there that night cradling me and then gone when morning came. What part of that was right in any universe?!

I sat back and refocused on my book cursing her mentally, but the madder I was the worse I felt, as if I was cursing myself and not that witch.

Insanity (Steven universe)

White Diamond began to pace around her throne room.
Blue and Yellow; they'd be here soon to check on her, she hadn't been out of this place for a month and the sounds of constant pacing would echo off the walls until they drown out her illegible mutterings.
The door the door the- no she couldn't let them in to see her she was loosing it and the trails of black leaking from her eyes showed just how broken she was.
The ticking of the clock grew faster louder, time was becoming lost in the barren room and slowly with a snap mutterings became more constant more desperate until words bled away to become high pitched whines.
"No!" White exclaimed a bright burst of light pulsing and blinding for a moment her eyes landing on the collage that she was becoming- when had she shattered the mirror?
White chastised herself, she couldn't not now she had managed to go so long so-so long without a breakdown not since before Yellow formed. Homeworld- that crevice that blite she worked so hard to fix this had created it. But she wouldn't do that not again she had Yellow and Blue and Spinel she was fine She had Steven everything was fine she wouldn't shouldn't be doing this not to them now or ever they didn't deserve her wrath they didn't need to see that thing.
How long did she have? Not long she paced more aiding the already rapid growth.
No, stop it stop it stop it stop it stop it!
Get yourself together White this isn't happening again!
Yes it is.
No!
You know it's true.
Lies, dirty lies.
Staggering to grab something to slow her fall which was the bland surface of the dimming wall. She collided with the cold floor and tremors began to envelope her.

Notice me! (Fox and the Hound 2)

It hadn't been terribly long since Cash and Dixie's night together that things between them grew apart.

Dixie desperately wanted to talk about it, among other things.
It had started a few weeks after their night did Dixie begin having nauseating feelings and cravings, and she could almost certainly tell what was going on when she was late and then had no period whatsoever. The fact that Cash would only talk to her in the few scant rehearsals they had during the winter.
She couldn't help but think that they were falling apart and now was not the time for such things to happen.
Finally working up enough courage Dixie took and walked into his room while he sat upon his futon plucking out the chords for a new song on his guitar and mumbling lyrics his chocolate brown eyes glancing towards her in acknowledgement. She trembled as she began weaving words together in attempt to tell him what was weighing on her mind.
"C-Cash...?" It came out as a feeble squeak rather than the assertion she'd wanted. "I need to tell you s...something."
"Sure, sure Dix-Darlin, what is it?" Cash mumbled around his pencil his fingers sliding down the neck of his guitar in a smooth motion a beautiful note vibrating the wires.
"...Do you w...w-want kids...?"
His fingers slipped and a wrong note rang out in the room. "What's all this talk Dixie? We go on the road in a couple months and we can't have our secondary lead lookin like some ol heffer. Sides how're we gonna raise a kid on the road in that rinky dink bus, huh?"
"We all grew up on that bus. Why couldn't we?" Her hazel eyes lowered to the pine floorboards and followed them along the edge of the room until they were cut off by the futon and Cash's boots.
"We weren't babies though Dixie. Look it don't matter none. I don't wanna talk bout this no more I gotta song to write." Cash shook his brown hair and turned his gaze away from her back to the guitar on his lap.
Dixie swallowed and shakily nodded before walking out of his room quickly, the door slamming and a picture of the two of them rattled then fell off its peg the glass splitting between them on the photo.
"Woah Dix, where ya going?" Zelda asked, coughing a smoker's cough and getting up from the couch to stop her in pursuit of the door.
"I can't be here anymore Zelda. He just... he doesn't get it all he can think about is his music and a talent scout. I don't even come second best to him. I couldn't even get him to listen for long enough for me to tell him. I'm going to go live with my cousin, I just can't no more Zelda." Dixie choked on her words before grabbing the keys to her 60's Ford and walking for the door.
"Wai-wai-wait, your cousin, you mean the chick who isn't a hair older than you lives in Manhattan that also lives with her boyfriend who lives on the streets cousin?" Zelda asked tugging on her coat on and following her friend.
"Well from what I hear Dodger at least pays attention to her. And yes of course her, I don't have any other cousins." Dixie snapped slamming the door to her truck which creaked back open before she slammed it again.

Let your Chaotic shine (my little pony)

The air teemed with a cruel resonating laughter that echoed off the mountains of Yak-yakistan and crashed against mount Aris and the volcanoes of the dragon lands. It tore through the wisps of clouds that made up Cloudsdale and caused the the massive waves upon the surface of Aquestria and caused the dust devils to rage across the Appleoosan plains.
Lightning spilt the sky into multiple dimensions, black clouds bubbled and spread.
The main six teleported to Canterlot castle followed not long by Princess Cadence, Shining Armor and a near teenage Flurry Heart.
A zombie like Princess Luna trudged into the throne room with bloodshot eyes and a tired young Alicorn colt in her magical grasp followed by her just as tired husband who held the twin of the Alicorn colt. Star Shine had her head hung low and ears back as the laughter echoed again.
"Where's Celestia?" Twilight asked looking around the darkened night court.
Snapping resonated around the room as Discord popped in and out and in those brief flashes if you could follow him and his lightning quick movements you would see the diaper over his face the candy stuck in his fur chocolate milk splotched over his sides and hear his mumbling as he quite literally tore up the throne room. "Where...must find... wiki...sleep... exhausted... bird... baby...magic...Found!... dust bunnies... CELESTIA IT'S NOT IN THE THRONE ROOM WHERE DID SHE LAST HAVE THAT BIRD?!"
"I DON'T KNOW YOU WERE THE LAST ONE WATCHING HER!" Celestia screamed back from wherever she'd hidden in the castle.
Shining Armor and Cadence shared a knowing glance with each other before returning to the Crystal Empire, and Luna grumbled before walking back down the hall she and her family had come from.
"What was that about?" Rainbow Dash demanded flying into the face of the princess.
The teenager arched a brow and blew air out her lips using her magic to move Rainbow Dash from her path. "No talking. Nopony has gotten sleep in a solid week. Loud noises very painful..." Her teal eyes blinked owlishly. "I'm going to assume you've noticed the strange occurrences and that's all because of an evily adorable Draconequus Alicorn foal, er cub? Kit? Honestly I don't know what she is but she's not bad. She just doesn't let anypony sleep."
The main six blinked and Rarity stepped forwards before the young princess disappeared down the darkened hallway.
"Darling, forgive me for sounding rude but, what do you mean Draconequus Alicorn foal?"
Star Shine flopped on the floor and placed her hooves in her ears blocking the booming laughter that rocked the castle. "I mean that Aunt Celestia and mr. Discord had a baby but she's an adorable little demon. Now this princess of the night needs sleep. Night time or not that foal isn't letting anyone sleep..."
The main six glanced at each other for a moment before sighing and returning to Ponyville.

Near Celestia's chambers

Tantabus walked through the palace and her ethereal steps made not a sound as she opened the door to the room adjacent to Celestia's. "Well I see that parenting has been treating you well little sister. Would you like a hoof with my niece?"
"I'd appreciate it Tantabus, but Discord and I have things handled. Right dear?" Celestia sounded far more confident than she looked, her mane was matted with chocolate milk and like Discord she was highly disheveled.
Toys scattered around the room with various other things lying on the floor.
Discord looked at her backwards and upside down as the magic from their foal kept him suspended midair half asleep.
"...perfect...control..." He murmured blinking leaded eyes.
"Of course. Well I'll just pop in to say good ni- morning to my niece." Tantabus said weaving carefully around the various items.
She peaked over the twisted white railing and stared at her niece.
The foal had a mane like Celestia's with a similar coat to her mother's and the mismatched body of her father. Two red goat horns stubbed from beside her ears her pink dragon's tail ended in a charcoal tuft her eyes were yellowed like her father's with her mother's irises her right hind leg was key lime green and her two front legs were white tiger forearms on her back were dove wings.
"...My she's gotten... big since I last saw her when she was born... I don't recall that Draconeqi grew so quickly. If memory served Draconeqi aged quite slowly... As do Alicorns...Are you sure she's alright?" Tantabus asked leaning close to the filly feeling her claws rake against her snout and tangle in her mane.
"Tantabus my daughter is..." Celestia began falling asleep sitting up before Tantabus nudged her shoulder with a wing.
Jolting upright and snapping bleary eyes opening quickly. "DON'T CRY!... She's just Fine Tantabus."
"But you're not Celestia. You and Discord can't even stay awake. Celestia she's draining you. Look at yourself for the sake of our parents look at yourself you're wearing a diaper! And your hair is matted with chocolate milk and I don't even want to know what is in your wings. Celestia admit it you need a break." Tantabus said turning her concerned garnet gaze to her younger sister.
"Tantabus I can take care of my daughter as well as myself! Just because I have a husband and child doesn't mean that I am incapable of my duties because while you lived the life of luxury in wherever you were living while I took care of Equestria! While I picked up the peices of our Country and family! I lived with the guilt of banishing my little sister to the moon of entrapping my lover in stone!" Celestia snapped her eyes blazing with fire as she stared up the starlit Alicorn.
Tantabus stared at her before stepping around her and out of the room with the brief instruction. "Get some rest sister."

Celestia ~
Again and again the voice crooned in the ear of the princess a forked tongue hissing against the shell.
Fully agitated Celestia brought her hoof up and flicked her ear glaring across the room at her fian- husband who was flipping through a comic book upside down and inside out. "Discord will you stop hissing in my ear? I'm trying to get at least some work done."
"But Tia," Discord pouted. "How can I stop if I haven't even started?"
She groaned and let her head fall only then realizing how exhausted she felt and noticing that her mane had stopped shimmering and flowing.
Celestia passed this off as lack of sleep and paid no more mind to the voices or her sleeplessness.
But not barely a week later she'd closed her eyes for a second to rest but opened them when she felt a sticky liquid sensation trickling down her horn and across her muzzle. A few drops invaded her lips and she had to admit it was the sweetest chocolate milk she'd ever tasted but her court was not the place for such a display.
"Ahem, Discord?" Her lavender eyes gestured to the brown substance washing through her pale coat.
"I don't know what to tell you Tia but I'm not do-" What Discord was going to say became lost in a girly shriek as he teleported down and began smushing her cheeks unfolding her wings entering one ear and coming out the other swimming through her hair all the while continuing to screech.
Leaning away from him, Celestia stared bewildered.
Lastly he licked up the length of her horn causing her to shudder and her face ignite red. Discord smacked his lips and let the taste melt into his tongue before resuming his squealing and dancing a jig around the court room.
When Celestia regained a fraction of her composure she questioned his actions. "...Discord what in Equestria are you doing?"
"Oh Celestia didn't you know? This is amazing and... Ahaha!" Discord was to the point where he couldn't even talk he was so giddy while his wife sat upon her throne and attempted to get through the rest of the day without incident.

My Ex's brother (legend of korra)

It had been exactly seventeen years since the legend Toph Beifong had died.
It had been fifteen years, two months and seven days since Hiokima had been born.
It was only a year and a half after Su had split her cheeks in two parallel horizontal scars.
Wasn't it six or so months since Tezin had broken up with her because her scars might scare whatever children they may or may not have had and her temper, that, that was completely uncalled for, wasn't it?
It had been twelve hours, twenty six minutes and thirteen, fourteen, fifteen seconds since She and Bumi had a night she wasn't even sure he'd remember.
As for now it was business as usual for the twenty three year old detective Beifong as she stood in a desolate office of the former chief of police. The council had it preserved in Toph's honor per Councilman Sokka's request.
She shifted and inhaled stale scent of dust and earth, nothing had changed since that day. Su's sippy cup with apple juice was still sitting by the right leg of the desk turned at a thirty five degree angle due east. Toph's coffee still sat on the center of the desk within the cup both her daughters had engraved with their ages and handprints, the coffee was black and three inches and a quarter from the bottom. The file cabinet in the back right corner was still dented from a three year old Lin's tantrum two feet and seven inches from the bottom jamming the third drawer shut.
This was the only place where nothing had changed. Everything was as it should be and it should be as it was, the only place Detective Lin Beifong had that was in some way or another ruined. Everything was coated in a healthy dose of dust except for the exact spot Lin had stood for the past seventeen years on the day everything became too much.
"Lin, it's been an hour." Her voice was so soft as if addressing Lin any harsher would break her. The young woman gave a stiff nod and stepped backwards out of that one room pulling the double doors shut behind her.
The woman who had addressed Lin in the first place gave a tender smile and handed the Beifong her badge and belt, which Lin adjusted as they should be.
"Thank you, Becka." Lin said in a crisp tone, the fading sun in the west windows a site her jade eyes drank in like sweet wine. Becka smoothed a piece of raven hair back into the precise curls behind Lin's head while her other hand turned the defined face towards her own.
"She would be proud." Becka had told Lin the exact same thing every year since it had happened and every year it never got any easier on either of them.

It landed squarely upon Lin's desk with an audible Ka-Thunk, the first things her eyes saw as they tracked the figure upwards was first the too tight pants fastened with a green belt and shining silver buckle the beige tee shirt pulled tight over a flat stomach that dipped low around the neck exposing half his pectorals and the bit of chest hair he was so proud to boast leading up the broad neck and squared jaw with the start of facial hair to please its owner the crooked smile the long nose misshapen from fights ice Blue eyes aglow with mischief and hope.
"You know I could have you arrested for public indecency, right?"
His smile exploded and his eyes danced. "Does that mean you'd be using your cuffs on me like the other night, detective?"
Lin paused and mulled her next words carefully, mindful of the other officers in the room as well as the blush creeping up her neck. "Alright Bumi, I'll bite, what's in the box?" She'd attempted to sound board and keep the frown on her face but around him she couldn't help smiling.
"Open it up and see." Bumi said, rocking on his heels his eyes sparkling and eagerly watching her every movement.
Lin sighed and shook her head the curls surrounding her face bouncing as the cardboard slowly unfolded to reveal a green silk scarf with gold trim a dress it seemed to match and a little note card which read as following.
Roses are red
Violet's, Blue
I'd like to try a date #2?
~Xoxo Bumi
A chuckle rumbled within her throat and she nodded towards him before opening a drawer on her desk and placing the box in.
"Is that a yes?" His polar bear dog eyes didn't look like they could get any bigger or Shine anymore and his tail would've thumped happily against the floor. Lin nodded if only to keep the crack out of her voice. Bumi let loose his trademark wa-hoo! Leaned across the desk and kissed her square upon the lips before hollering once more as he ran out the front doors.
Many of her coworkers stared at the happy expression bore on her face and watched with bewilderment as she slowly traced her tongue around her peach lips before returning to her work as if what had just transpired hadn't happened at all.
Yes, she had her own appartment but she always spent her Wednesday nights gaming at her childhood home even if she was only related to the people there by heart. The door on the flat burst open as a young boy of fifteen limped out tackling the detective in a hug. His spindly coco arms fit around her waist and his eyes popped from his thin face as he smiled a gap toothed grin at her before relinquishing his hold. He was not gangly by choice nor was he malnourished but a rare condition caused him to be this way.
"Wooooooow Lin! You're extra dressed up for game night! Is there a surprise I don't know about?!" Hiokima asked golden eyes examining the pine dress Lin had adorned herself with.
"No, I'm afraid not. Listen Kima... I have something planned tonight and I can't do it another night, can we have a late game night this week?" Lin set a hand upon his shoulder and felt the bones attempting to reach her skin as those oversized eyes met hers with a confused gleam.
"I... ok I understand you have stuff you have to do..." Hiokima let his shoulders drop as his lithe form retreated into the apartment. With a rush of brightness he added. "Tomorrow night. Same time. Same place. Same thing."
Beifong nodded and stepped in to the kitchen for a moment, gold trim scarf wrung nervously between her fingers.
"Ah, it appears at least one of Aang's boys is at least making an attempt the gifting department. Lin you look lovely, this dress suits your physique beautifully!" Bekka smiled grabbing hold of Lin's arms and admiring the bead work of the dress.
Lin's cheeks become flushed with a rose hue as words locked up in her throat until she finally held the scarf in front of her burning face.

Born on the Moore (Steven universe)

In the late 1700's there were born of a rich and prominent family in Europe three girls who would later hold more influence than the king himself. The first was a beautiful woman with icy blonde hair silver blue eyes pale skin and she became the most prominent woman in all of Europe and the British colonies. The second was a woman who grew against the grain and became a general in the royal army respected by thousands despite being the only woman in such a position with shimmering golden hair and defined features carved into peach colored skin and blazing hazel eyes. The third was a distant cousin to the sisters and spent most of her time in Ireland as part of the nobility by right of birth, she had soft tresses of shimmering ebony hair cream skin and deep ocean eyes.
Years passed and the two proper women found decent husbands and decent houses rising in popularity while the second was well respected by her country and those beyond. Now at the moment they were all gathered at Whitney's Chateau in Paris awaiting the birth of her first child, the first child born to the Diamond lineage in almost thirty five years.
Blue cracked a smile and lowered her raised cup from her lips. "I personally love the thought, Johnathan and I have actually been trying since we recieved your first letter announcing your pregnancy Whitney."
"Blue!" Whitney set her cup down quickly and glared across the parlor at the Irish woman. "That is hardly a topic to discuss over tea it's not as if we're common peasants with nothing better to talk about."
Blue dipped her head sheepishly and looked into her cup of tea. The topic shifted and not long after Yelena departed them leaving a heavy Whitney and young Blue quietly sipping tea together.
"I did mean that honestly though, not inappropriately but just honestly." Blue sighed features blazing in the golden light melting through the large bay windows.
Whitney hummed and turned to her young cousin who had a mystic look within her lost cyan eyes.
Blue continued weather she was talking with herself or Whitney was a mystery but she continued to softly prattle on.
"I just... I would give to have what Yelena has but she wants to waste her chance. I was always told that we women even of our rank would be no more than a decoration to a man and a baby maker. I don't want to be decoration to anyone but to have even one child- I would give up my fortune and name for that."
"Blue what on earth are you rattling on about?" Whitney demanded irritably setting her cup down upon the coffee table.
"Nothing I- nothing Whitney." Blue stammered staring into the cool abyss of her tea cup.
In truth her nothing was something.
That something was either herself or her husband regarding their fertility. Medicine of course said they were just unlucky or it was not in God's plan that they have a child or that they had some unknown sin that prevented them from obtaining what they desired. Being so proud Blue would never adopt a child despite the times her husband would bring children from the orphanage would be her greatest pleasure of the time when they left it was the same as when she'd realized Rosaline had really been killed on her way to America by the colonists.
Perhaps that is why it came to such a surprise when they realized indeed they would become parents if just this once.
"Oh, my Johnny! My love! Can't you believe it? A baby! Our baby! We're going to have a baby!" Blue was beyond ecstatic but managed to rein herself in and act proper when she realized all her giddy flouncing wouldn't do her child or herself any good.
"Wha? Lovely that's wonderful!" Johnathan was caught off guard by her outburst but embraced her with soft kisses.
His career went from paintings of the woman of the Irish sea to painting her and their unborn in a perfect little visage to give them a fantasy image of the one to come.
News of second Diamond heir spread like rampant wild fire the moment it was announced to the public covering all of Eurasia within a week.
"That blasted woman! Does she really think that I'll let her stay with that miserable excuse of a painter? And to have his child! God she's bloody mad!" A man of high ranking and wealthy stature ranted pacing the halls of his mansion. His powdered wig covered rich ebony hair and he had cold green eyes and fair skin.
"Get me a carriage immediately!" He shouted towards a set of guards one of which scrambled off to fulfill his masters orders.
The ride to Whitney's own mansion wasn't that far a one considering they were nearly neighbors and this is something he constantly brought to her attention.
"She's the one supporting that man and her. Whitney my good woman if you truly want that poor girl to be happy give her hand to me and I'll ensure she's kept happy. Need I seek out that old slave who watched our parents agree to me having the hand of a Diamond of my choice?" He asked impatiently as they stood within her lush garden the shrieks of her infant daughter and laughs of husband echoing from within the hedge maze.
A gentle wind unspiraled a tightly wound curl and brought it forwards to tease her cheek. "Now, now you know I tried everything I possibly could to sway my cousin in your favor but the girl has a mind of her own. Besides that child might be the only one she has and it isn't even yours. I don't know what you see in her as a eligible bride." Whitney stated crisply pulling her shawl closer to her form.
"Then so be it but I want her hand in marriage. You see to it that I have her hand in my own before she's come to term and then perhaps the dirty little things we've dealt in won't come out for that precious little daughter of yours to hear or before I take matters into my own hands. Good day Lady Diamond." He bowed with the smile of a snake before taking his leave of her.
Another crisp autumn wind whipped past Whitney's cheek and finally she called out across the acreage. "William! Bring Alexandria in before you both catch your death of cold!"
Without a choice Blue was sent to visit the man who treated her akin to a queen. Constantly peppering her with compliments and praise only once going so far as to dapple Blue in kisses all of his actions stoking the odd feeling she got within his strange presence.
Only when she asked to leave and return home did his true colors blaze.
"Now, now my pet. This is where you belong, you and our child." His arms snaked around her and he attempted to capture her lips in his.
Struggling within his grasp she slapped his chest. "Let go of me, you snake! You've lost your marbles!" Blue hissed in his ear, hitting his chest with more force.
His grip nearly dropped her when the arms gave way.
Blue was escorted to a room near his fully decorated with dark oak furniture and covered in imported Indian silk of various oceanic shades. It was not to say she didn't value the room or gesture but the circumstances were far past savory. The large silk bed felt large and empty when it was just her alone knowing that Johnathan might not slink in with her in the dark of night and hold her close. More than ever with the soft beating heart inside her did she long for the arms stained with paint and wrapping her in the comforting scent of his oil paints. Soft tears soaked her pillow through and matted her hair with salt water.
When dawn broke the surface with beautiful rosy petals blooming with the oncoming cobalt day.
Blue laid in her bed and stared up and the dark high voleted ceiling mist clouding her vision as the doors parted and a petite maid scurried in, her blonde hair pulled back flat with a few disobedient waves falling in front of her face. She pulled open the curtain and fluffed the pillows, gently making the bed around Blue to her best ability.
"Why...?" Blue croaked, sniffling and blinking tears down her cheeks.
The question was vague but this shy young girl was fully aware of what was meant as she'd heard her master barking the orders to the servants for the past week.
"He wants you as a wife. He says that you're to be married soon enough and that we ought to be prepared for a youngun not long after." The girl stated curtly keeping her sky blue eyes averted from the slight swell in Blue's stomach and breasts.
"Marry him?! I'm already married! I can't have two husbands is he crackers? Why would I... no...no he can't mean that..." Blue launched herself from the carefully made bed and began rummaging throughout her few personal things, muttering about a treaty or bargain of Diamond Rubell and even swearing under her breath.
"I don't have it... you girl, what's your name? I need to ask a most pertinent favour of you." Blue said quickly standing nervously before the girl dressed in a maid uniform.
"Isabel ma'am. What can I do for you?" Isabel said in a soft and obedient tone never looking into Blue's eyes once as a plan was softly imparted on her. Isabel agreed with a quick nod and promise on her life but with a few requests of her own regarding her freedom.
The snake of a man of course wouldn't let Blue remain in seclusion the entire day and had come to seek her before noon.
"You know Blue this would be easier on you if you'd just marry me. That way we could get that out of the way before our child is born. You know we all have appearances to keep and so on." He said as they walked through the halls of his mansion.
Blue had never been conventional nor had she been a woman of prim but walking with him she had a hair peice of midnight lace covering her face installed in her hair with pins and jewels. The long sleeves kept her arms slender and the dark colors paled her features to a ghastly shade. She sniffed at him and kept her nose in the air.
"Now, now Blue love, don't be like that. For you I'd give up my residence in England and build you the most wonderful house on the Moore, like what you've always dreamed. Remember when you were a girl and I would come over to tutor Whitney and you would have these fascinating stories and wonderful pictures of what it would look like. And even if not I made sure in all my houses to have a room with a large window facing south for a nursery. Blue would you like to see it? The one here is especially lovely."
She was slightly caught off guard that he remembered the rants she herself only recalled in foggy bits. Blue bit her lip, her eyes darting around for something to change the topic of how they'd grown up together and how she'd seen him as a big brother to be trusted.
"...No. Not today. I don't think I'm up for it right now..."
"But my sweet Bluebell it will only take a moment sweet and I'm sure our little one will love-"
"Don't you dare call me by that name again, you vermin!" Blue snapped running down the halls away from him towards her chambers where a sickened sob choked her with a hand upon her mouth and the other clinging to her child as the day wore on.
Johnathan checked within every room permitted to him within Whitney's house but in each room he couldn't find his wife who'd came here almost a month prior.
"Whitney, where's Blue? She's not returned from here and I can't find her she's- where is she?" Johnathan asked nervously bending down to ruffle the soft blonde curls of Alexandria as she crawled around his feet.
Whitney looked out the distant window and contemplated his question and the proper answer. Of course she had no idea where her young pregnant vulnerable innocent cousin was but she wasn't her concern it was business dealt with before her time. So what if her parents and aunt and uncle had essentially sold off a daughter they didn't know would be born the year after the binding agreement had already been sealed in the blood of her uncle I mean these kinds of deals weren't uncommon around that time it was just...just... it was how things were done. She nodded with a stiffened lip and confidence, that's just how things were done and how they always would be.
That's just the way things are...
"What does that mean, Whitney? God must you be so cryptic woman! Where's my Blue?" Johnathan asked impatiently, walking closer to the dazed woman.
Whitney blinked silver eyes owlishly and turned her tilted head toward him. "I mean what I say. The way things are is how things must be and always have been."
Johnathan growled and looked away from her and her oddity taking in a frustrated breath he tried again. "Whitney, stop speaking in riddles or I'll go fetch Yelena wherever in the world she be."
"Now, now little boy, there's no need to drag her into all of this. Why she was barely a toddler at the time. No she doesn't know what I and your Blue know. It's just how it is my dear Johnathan, you needn't grey your head over such things. Blue's fine." Whitney smiled darkly and picked up her crawling daughter, kissing her button nose and leaving a smear of wine red.
Johnathan wasn't pleased with the response but he'd been around his cousin in law long enough that he knew he wouldn't get a straighter answer from her and Yelena was no where around to keep her straight and to get a proper response. Shaking his head Johnathan departed from her presence and left as he knew not even William would know the answer his secretive wife was keeping.
Blue sat placidly upon an overly plush sofa with a trial of diamonds beading down her peach cheeks burned rosy, roses surrounding her with floral perfume as golden light streamed in behind her through the thick velvet curtains. An artist stood before his canvas and attempted to capture her essence in acrylic while her captor stood in the background with a wide gleaming smile. Soon enough he would make Blue his bride and her child would serve as perfect leverage in the situation.
When her room had been emptied of men Blue picked apart the roses surrounding her with tamed passion of fury. She stood from her seat and sashayed out into the hallway tracing every pattern engraved on the walls and banisters. Blue's opposite hand mimicked the patterns on the helm of her extended womb as the halls grew longer and familiar.
"Ooo-oh-oh I guess I'll have to face that in this awful place, I shouldn't show a trace of doubt. But pulled against the grain, I feel a bit of pain that I would rather do without. I rather be free, free. I'd rather be free, free, free from here. I'd rather be free, free. I'd rather be free, free, free from here. "
For the remainder of her months Blue became accustomed to dining with him being the model for countless painter who failed to capture the midnight ocean in the long terraces the sea on a perfect summer's day with gales hidden within the iris the soft and fluid lines of her cream flesh. After every painting she would retire to her chambers and think about how easily Johnathan could capture her in paint and would've already had an entire museum devoted to her with the number of paintings he'd accumulate.
The walks became less frequent as time went by and the winter months were upon them with a child soon due.
"So, tonight, you and me will leave when he is holding this party of his. And you've already arranged for the wagon?" Blue asked lowly holding back a wince as her child bent visibly within.
"Yesum. It's all ready but don't you think you're a little too close to your due date to-" Isabel was silenced by the doors opening and a small group of men coming into the room much to their shock.
"Yes, isn't actually past your due date by almost two weeks."
Blue didn't tremble as he spoke but instead glanced around for an out, something that would allow her and her child the far too prolonged escape.
"It is sir. That's not healthy for mother or child." A young midwife stated from his left.
As the doctor and second midwife began setting up their needed equipment Blue snagged her lip within her upper Palate, the sea crashed madly over every corner of the room until it found it.
Simplistic in design with polished silver metal. In a sudden burst of adrenaline Blue had snagged the small item of destruction.
"Take one wrong step and I'll slit my throat right across!" She trembled as the cold metal held against her flesh threatened to split it open and spill the life giving blood she and her child needed.
"Blue, love, it's for the best. Now please put down the scalpel." The snake of a man soothed, stepping towards her.
"No! No it won't ever! Not in a thousand years will I let you love me or my child! I much rather die and-and kill my own unborn than see us stay another day with you, Reginald!" Blue pressed the blade deeper and moved it across showing she wouldn't turn to cowardice even if the thought of terminating her and her child was so finite it gave little room for error.
A wispy breath left her as sharp metal pierced the flesh near her shoulder and neck things began numbing and her oceanic vision blurred before her legs gave out beneath her. The arms of Reginald wrapping around her limp form and maneuvering her towards the bed where the doctors and midwives began their work with delivering the child and preserving the mother.
Hours of blood, stitching, afterbirth, screaming, and Reginald's utter delight that his plan had worked and with the child he had perfect leverage with Blue.
Blue awoke once the drug wore off leaving her sore and scarred. Everything below her loins burned and above them she traced the long vertical line running red across her abdomen where her child had once rested for months.
Launching herself from the bed she struggled to gain footing as she fled to the room she knew he'd prepared for her child.
But when she reached the large ebony doors there was Isabel holding a baby who wailed fitfully and hot tears reddened her face. The door frame could barely support Blue as she stared at her perfection. The small baby had her thick black hair waved like the midnight sea, skin akin to the albino skin of that of her father and what little of the child's eyes that could be seen through the tears were similar to the deep ocean trapped in the moist pool of their mother's.
Hearing the wails of her child Blue collapsed to the floor herself a pained weeping mess.
"Mistress, please you must rest." Isabel softly chided rushing in to place the child in the bassinet and aid her mistress back into her bed.
"Despite the masters orders I bring your daughter here for hours at a time when she is either fussy or hungry. Your presence has calmed her and I've been hoping you'd wake up." Isabel said lifting up Blue with all her might and staggering the both of them to her bed.
"How much interaction has that snake had with her? Oh my sweet love I'm so sorry I haven't been here for you... How long have I been unconscious? Isabel I can't thank you enough for caring for her." Blue rambled cupping her arms and accepting the squirming bundle of her child.
Isabel giggled softly and answered. "He's been busy with wedding preparations and doctors. You've been sleeping for the whole of a week. And it was nothing mistress you have promised me freedom and I have promised that I would help save you and your child from this horrible man. Once he knows you're awake he'll set a date for the wedding."
Blue shuddered at the thought of marrying him and then dipped her head to kiss the crown of her daughter and shift her top to allow the baby to feed, gasping as she latched on.
It was a month before Blue was able to reformulate her plan an escape that included her fragile infant.

The mystery of the gold band (Steven universe)

In the late 1700's there were born of a rich and prominent family in Europe three girls who would later hold more influence than the king himself. The first was a beautiful woman with icy blonde hair silver blue eyes pale skin and she became the most prominent woman in all of Europe and the British colonies. Now at the moment they were all gathered at Whitney's Chateau in Paris awaiting the birth of her first child, the first child born to the Diamond lineage in almost thirty five years.

"I know you're satisfied with your position in the military and I commend your bravery Yelena but honestly you're not getting any younger and you know the doctors have said that this will likely be the only child I ever have due to my age. You shouldn't squander your biological time dear, after all we're the only three Diamonds left and I would hate for everything we've worked for to go to someone else that isn't blood." Whitney went on staring at her sister over the rim of her China tea cup.

Yelena scoffed and lowered hers to the table brushing a nonexistent piece of dust from her riding pants. Blue cracked a smile and lowered her raised cup from her lips. "She's right you know Yelena, if you don't have a child sooner or later the chances of you having one gets slimmer each time you return to the battlefield. I personally love the thought, Johnathan and I have actually been trying since we recieved your first letter announcing your pregnancy Whitney."

"Blue!" Whitney set her cup down quickly and glared across the parlor at the Irish woman. "That is hardly a topic to discuss over tea it's not as if we're common peasants with nothing better to talk about."

Blue dipped her head sheepishly and tucked a stray wave behind her ear.

"I don't want nor need a child. Besides what kind of a world do I want them to grow up in? One where the colonies are falling apart? Bah! My dears I am afraid you shan't get a child from me aside from your dreams. Besides what what good will I be cooped up for months? I can barely stand holidays, if I'm apart from the battlefield or my strategy room I'm of no use to King George, bless him, I am loyal to my dying breath to king and county." Yelena stated matter of factly taking a long drag from her porcelain cup the rich ginger root tea flooding her senses before she removed sensation and stood.
"Now if you don't mind I have an appointment with commander Tusinion."

Blue purred. "Tusinion? You mean little Jaques Tusinion who you had a crush on in finishing school?" Whitney tittered as Yelena gave pause then a stiff nod before striding out of the room.

The visit lasted until the christening of Whitney's child, a little girl who could have passed for her mother at that age, Alexandria Victoria Leviticus-Diamond.

Now for years Yelena disappeared which wasn't at all atypical for the general but the catch was that after the birth of Blue's child she disappeared completely, be she across the sea fighting with the Americans or perhaps down in her Casa in northern Spain it was a mystery to the other Diamonds but they didn't worry for her as they had the young Rosaline who had vanished years prior.

Now a near eighteen years later Alexandria walked through the market gazing at the flower shops and pausing at every single dress shop to admire the wears and perhaps buy a handful of gowns for herself.

Not far from her location a young woman perhaps in the Prime of her teenage hood weaved through the crowds and gazed around in wonderment at the large port city, buildings rising high above her line of view and the clamor of people bustling from booth to shop and traders shouting out their wears. Shaking her head she refocused on the task at hand -too late. She and Alexandria collided sending the girl stumbling and Alexandria into the mud along with her newly bought dresses and shoes.

"Brute! Don't you watch wear you're going? All my dresses- soiled! And me!" Alexandria fumed trying to claw herself upwards.

The girl offered her calloused mocha hand and lifted Alexandria up with surprising strength.

"I've never been anywhere so big, senorita, you must forgive me I was overwhelmed. I'm sure the dresses can be salvaged." The girl said brushing sticky mud from the laces of one of the gowns trimmed with chiffon and silk ribbons. Deducing no harm done she began to make her departure but the fine hand of Alexandria snagged her wrist drug her along.

"No! You have to pay for them! Do it or I have you arrested! Haven't you a clue as to who I am?!"

Spectators began to gather as a Diamond stared on in fury at the foreign girl.

"I spent all my money coming here. I can't pay you back, now let go, there's nothing wrong with a woman striking a woman." The girl tugged on her wrist but never pulling hard enough to free the captured limb.

Gasping in horror Alexandria called out two names and then two men emerged from crowds and listened intently as their mistress explained what had happened and who had done it. The first man with ebony hair took hold of the girl from his mistress while the other fetched the garments and packaging from the ground.

The pair parted the crowds and led the two girls to an ornate carriage.

"I won't jail you until my mother is informed of your blite. She'll see that you never see the light of day until you're older an wrinkled like an old spinner!" Alexandria spat as they rattled up the cobblestone roads towards a house that was no more a home than a palace.

"Santa Maria... tell me aren't some princess or lady like that?" The girl asked nervously as the carriage began to slow before the large building.

"When I'm done with you, you'll wish I was."

Lead inside by the second man who had a hint of a Auburn mustache and that being the only indication of hair upon his body within view.

The girl stared around the large foyer with wide hazel eyes and slackened jaw ivory, quartz and marble made up most everything and there was blinding lace hanging over every large window and covering the dark cherry stained cabinetry which was topped with China and glass vases overflowing with white roses and lilies leaking their heavenly sweet perfume into the air lazily.

When she was jerked back into line before the long spiral staircase if she stared up and squinted she could make out the silhouette of a woman with her ice blonde hair pinned back perfectly framing her powdered face attention drawn to her made up eyes coated in silver dust and lips painted the same shade as a rich wine. The collar of her dress was a high shimmering silver lace that covered part of her chest as well the bodice of her dress crafted of the finest and purest ivory silk her dress cascading down her hips in glittering ripples that teased the floor shoes crafted of silver showcasing two of her ebony painted toes from her decent. Her steps were purposeful and deliberate as the ornate Woman moved methodically to stand before her daughter and servants as well as the stunned girl.

Silver blue eyes looked silently to each of them and then coldly rested upon the girl as Alexandria desperately described what had transpired. A strange look crossed her placid face before relaxing as her gaze discounted the glittering golden hair and sharp hazel eyes as unfamiliar.

A sharp snap sliced through the air and not a moment later a French dressed maid stood before the party. Her left eye was jagged and scarred over the eye resting within a polished orb of white glass. "Yes madame?"

"Take this girl and get her fitted with a servants dress and see to it that she fulfills the tasks given to her. And have a bath drawn up for Alexandria along with clean clothing. That will be all." One last cold glance around the room and Whitney turned on point and ascended the stairs to disappear from whence she'd came.

"Leon take this girl to the servants quarters and bring her to me once she's fitted. Mistress if you'd follow me I shall draw up a bath." The servant said in a monotonous manner herding the disheveled Alexandria up the stairs to vanish in the opposite direction Whitney had been lost behind.

The girl finally realized what was transpiring but couldn't struggle even against one of the muted men.

Before she'd had a chance to refuse the things given to her she was stripped of what she'd been wearing, scrubbed down, spiffed up and redressed in the black dress with white apron. While the few maids set to making her up she wrung her gold ring from their grasp and silver chain with a metal cast which was missing the gemstone.

Lead away the servants quarters the maid from before lead her up the stairs and cast a blank glance behind her when the girl lingered longer than she should've.

An ornate black door was opened and brought her to a bathing chamber where Alexandria was submerged nose deep in a pool of foam, oils, salts, and petals.

"See to it that you listen and your stay might not be permanent." Was all that was stated before the two girls were left to their own devices.

A long awkward pause stretched before Alexandria dipped her head back in the suds and simply stated. "Come here and wash my hair would you?"

The girl hesitated for a moment until a cold blue eye cracked open to gaze at her. Scuttling over she dipped her hands in and began to scrub the scalp.

"So what's your name, your story. Why is someone clearly from Spain, a girl no less, in England?" Alexandria questioned rubbing a bar of soap nonchalantly across her slender leg.

"Excuse me?" The girl gaped and her ministrations halted.
"I don't know your name and I don't know anything about you. There must be a story. Humor me, or are the Spaniards that uncultured?" Again Alexandria asked dipping the lathered leg into the warm liquid.

Hesitation crawled into her movements and her gaze drew distant. "I'm Mia Diane Ramone. I came to England because that's where my papa said my mother was from." Mia said solemnly blinking to focus her gaze back onto massaging the head of ice blonde.

"I see. I know most anyone in England, tell me, tell me what was her name?" Alexandria asked almost giddy at the prospect of a mystery.
"I... I never met my mother. And my papa said he'd forgotten her name. He just remembered England. Always said she tracked him back to Spain to leave me with him. I never knew her none. Just a couple of trinkets." Mia stated reaching for a pitcher to rinse the suds from the long terraces.

Alexandria gave a hum and mulled over what was stated and didn't bother asking anything else.

A good month and a half passed and the debt for the dresses was more or less forgotten and the two teenagers grew closer once Alexandria told her to drop most the formal pretences.

One warm summer day the two girls were working together on some arithmetic equations when the woman with the glass eye entered the library.

"Mistress Alexandria, your mother requires your presence in the foyer." She stated from the slender gap.

"I'll be down soon Winifred." Alexandria dismissed as her quill went back to the parchment.

"She wants you down stairs now." Winifred stated once more.

With a frustrated sigh Alexandria pushed her chair back and rose, confident strides leading her to the door with Mia trailing upon her heels followed by the unnerving glassy stare provided by Winifred.

Upon descending the stairs and standing obediently beside her mother the two thick ebony doors opened and a servant girl bowed before stepping out of the way to allow her mistresses to enter.
"Whitney! Oh my dear it's been far too long since we've shared the same floor space together." The woman with a heavy Irish brooch stated, depositing her heavy carpet bags beside the door.
"And you, li'l Alexandria all grown up und pretty like your mother. Why last I saw you, you were no bigger than my bag and now look at you! All pretty and-..." Blue's words died away as she saw Mia not being able to hide her reaction as well as Whitney had. Just as it had been with Whitney something about her shimmering golden hair, the bright glow in her hazel eyes, the dimple that left her frowning always it was painstakingly familiar but this girl, Blue shook her head and gestured behind her.
"Sophie, love, this is my cousin Whitney and her daughter, Alexandria. Whitney, Alexandria this is my daughter Sophie Elizabeth Carmichael-Diamond."
"Pleased to meet you both." Sophie respectfully dipped her head towards each of them before stepping back beside her mother.
"Alexandria, dear, go take your cousin upstairs to your room, that's where she'll be staying while they're in England." Whitney stated and gestured upstairs. "Blue and I will be in the parlor for tea. Get her settled and then come join us."
Alexandria's expression protested but she reluctantly turned on heel. "Follow me."
Sophie took her bag and followed up the stairs to where she ought to be staying.
"There, now on to tea." Alexandria forced a smile and opened the door to usher her cousin out.
"Bleh, tea. You Brits and your tea. No thank you. I was actually hoping to see the portraits, mum says I'm about at that age where mine'd be hung up."
Alexandria grimaced and nodded. "This way then. Oh and this is Mia."
"Hello Mia." Sophie stated curtly as they went down a new hall lined with massive portraits of the most current Diamonds.
There on the wall was portraits updated every fifteen years of their mothers and the one of Alexandria and an empty space for Sophie's own painting. Mia paused and stared up at the solemn painting of a highly decorated solider with tightly pressed lips and gleaming hazel gaze that stared into the soul golden waves of hair once long cut professionally short and sturdy form of her profession. Her gaze studied every fleck of paint and caught on the engraved golden band around her index, surely her own was a replica of someone who had admired this woman. "Wh-who is that-that...?" Mia trembled slightly the golden band on her own finger feeling heavy and tight.
"Hmm? That? My mother's younger sister. Apparently she's a general in his majesties army but nobody has seen her since Sophie was born and I remember she barely made it to that. Ugh I can still remember how awfully she reeked of tobacco and peppers. Aunt Blue wouldn't let her hold Sophie the whole time she was there. Why do you Ask?" Alexandria asked quirking a brow and then turning to see the mass tremors Mia was undergoing.
"What's wrong, Mia?"
Mia said nothing but struggled with the ring on her finger and threw it toward the painting judging her. She shook her head and left the room leaving two confused Diamonds by themselves.
Sophie walked over and picked up the gold band and studied it and then the picture. Coming to a similar conclusion she showed Alexandria who didn't believe it herself.
"Perhaps we ought to go for tea then." Alexandria mused twirling the band between her pointer and index, following the jagged lines of lightning and the ornate carvings of gemstones with her eyes.
The meaning of her words was lost within the curl of her lips and cunning of her mind as she led a confused Sophie downstairs to the parlor where their mothers disguised the recent years between themselves, more importantly the girl who had zapped them like a bolt of lightning.
"I know she was away for months at a time but I never thought she was gone long enough to have a baby." Blue said lowly as if talking about that woman having a child was taboo.
"Nonsense, nonsense my dear Diamond. There is no way on God's Green earth or the firmament that my sister of all people had a child and I didn't know about it. Besides if she really was the daughter of my sister she'd do more than look like her. How many women in England looked like our mother, hmm? Or yours?" Whitney dismissed lightly, honestly the thought itself was absurd.
No sooner had they but dismissed the topic did Alexandria and Sophie round the corner and an eager young woman hold her open palm out to her mother. "Look at this! Mother look at it! It's just like the ring Aunt Yelena has isn't it? Oh, isn't it the same one mother?"
Whitney picked up the peice of jewelry and studied the facets carved into the metal. The etching was spot on with the ring she'd special ordered for her sister right down to the mount where a gemstone had rested but had broken off in battle the dent that had been smoothed out where a musket ball had hit the lashes on the inside where every single close call to her life was accounted. Whitney swallowed, blinked, her lips twitching in an unverified emotion.
Impossible!
"...is it?" Alexandria asked again her enthusiasm over the mystery dissolving when she saw the various emotions displayed by her mother.
"No, no it's not." Whitney stated firmly placing the band back in the awaiting palm. Alexandria's shoulders dropped a little and she nodded.
"Of course."
"Where ever did you get such a piece?" Blue asked leaning curiously over her armchair.
"It's Mia's her mother gave it to her when she was a baby but she hasn't seen her since." Alexandria said solemnly her gaze distracted by the now tarnished peice. A long pause held the group before Blue broke in.
"Well as long as you're here why don't you join us for tea? There's plenty left in the pot."
A warning glance kept Sophie from disappearing from the room as Whitney poured two more cups with the steeped liquid. Nothing was stated from that point on as the four women of Diamond sat in the presence of each other minds all wandering towards the rogue blonde they each knew.
After dinner when both girls returned to Alexandria's room Mia was already waiting for them. "You told them. About the ring, my ring, didn't you?"
"We did but only with purest intentions. Besides my mother said they don't match and she ought to know, she commissioned that ring for my aunt, drew the design and everything." Alexandria said softly unbinding her laces and slipping into her night gown as dim candle light cast shadows over their faces.
With all the candles blown out Sophie lie restless beside her cousin. Restless about the ring and the mystery surrounding it. Surely there was more to the ring than what Mia knew and what Whitney told, but what?
Slinking out of the bed Sophie picked up the glistening gold thing and tiptoed from the room down the long hall upon scratchy black and white carpet and creaking boards of cherry stained wood. She saw her goal before she heard it, the dim light of a single candle flickering within a half open room where the mutterings of a distraught woman emitted.
Poking around the corner the noise came to an abrupt halt and eyes filled with salt water stared before a cold hand reached up and pulled away what she could. "What're you doing here at this hour, love? It's well past eight." Blue said softly beckoning her child over. "And what've you got there in your hand?"
Sophie's fingers blossomed to reveal the mysterious ring. "I thought of all people you'd know what this was at least. I don't think Aunt Whitney was honest about this not that I'd tell her to her face but I must know if this really is what Mia and Alexandria and I think it is."
Blue took up the ring and twirled it between her fingers contemplativly eyeing each imperfection that dotted the canary surface. The smoothness of the once defined leaves the dirt and other particles clustered between the designs the tiny cracked pearl near where the center stone had rested the dent caused by the furious hand of its former owner.
Blue stared for a long time and said nothing, this was indeed the ring of Yelena Diamond but the question still remained as to how this ring, an insignificant item that could have been lost then picked up by a passersby, tied Mia to Yelena. Rolling her lips finally she gave the only answer her head would let her give in good conscious. "I don't know."
A good year had come and gone yet none of the Diamonds could forget the mystery of the golden band and suspicions rose when who should come through the front door then General chief third class Yelena Diamond.
And by cruel fate Mia was the first one to see the tall authoritative woman with blazing hazel eyes. "Serf. Tell me where your mistress is."
Mia swallowed and nodded her tongue numb as she choked on her words. "Oh uh she's...she's in the...the-the parlor with Lady Blue and their daughters and-"
"Very good. Take these bags up to my room. It ought to be the right side third door down." Yelena deposited her bag in the arms of the stunned girl.
The general chief gave a brief nod and strode for the parlor, pausing momentarily out of the women's sights to straighten out her red woollen coat and pull tight her silk gloves running her hand to smooth over any stray peices of hair. Stepping past the threshold it took but a moment before she'd been swarmed by her sister and cousin along with furious questions demanding her whereabouts.
"Ladies, ladies! There will be plenty of time to answer any and all questions but honestly I've just gotten off a ship from coming back from India around the horn of Africa and I haven't had a good cup of ginger tea in a solid month so if you both don't mind I'd like a cup before I answer any questions" Yelena said swiftly before choking on the warm liquid.
"By the king, look at you two! Half grown women, but the fashion taste of a penny pinching wench."
"Um thank you, auntie?" Alexandria answered awkwardly glancing towards her mother for guidance which wasn't provided.
"Now, talk Yelena. Talk." Whitney said sitting down impatiently, gesturing towards her younger sister with pursed lips and narrowed, intrigued eyes.
Shuffling, and taking another sip Yelena began answering all questions asked of her and implored further as to the years she'd been departed.
"Girls, go leave us. Ensure dinner would be ready on time and that an extra place would be set for Yelena." Whitney said waving her hand towards the door. Alexandria stood and nodded bidding farewell to her aunt followed in similar fashion by Sophie.
Gazes darkened and tones dropped the room loosing warmth.
"That girl. I'm assuming you saw her?" Whitney began claws tapping against the China with an ominous chink.
A stiff nod answered her along with knit brows. "So, when you've been away, have you had a child with one of your escapades?"
"No, no!" Too quick. Hazel eyes lowered to find the answer within the porcelain bowl filled with steeped brew.
"No." Yelena said with more assertion, the whimper to her tone lost within the growl. "And the fact that you would accuse me of something like that is rather disheartening! My own sister and Cousin! Accusing me of sleeping around while I was protecting our country and the very hoity toity lives of luxury you both enjoy! Balderdash! My own family, my own kin!"
Blue had recoiled at this outburst and her earl gray was very interesting in its steamy splendor. Whitney blinked slowly and set her cup down upon the lamp stand and then stood strolling over to her sister with a perturbed smile. "Yelena, we aren't children so I expect to get the truth from you without methods of unsavory. I am a lady and wouldn't stoop so low unless pushed. Now: have you ever had a child while out of country or otherwise?"
The warm breath hit like a blast of cold air upon her carved face as Whitney leaned down over the General chief.
"No." Yelena growled with narrowed eyes and clenched jaw. She'd rather lie right to Whitney's face than face the humiliation of what they were implying, she'd rather feel cold grip around her elongated neck and daggers piercing her spine than say what they thought they wanted to hear.
Seventeen years ago the general chief third class, who had only been a lieutenant at the time was dressed in plain clothes with a large sombrero hiding her face and poncho hiding her swollen abdomen as her gopher guided the rickety wagon through the dusty streets of Spain, past the church and jail past the orphanage and hotels towards one of the darkest rattyest places in the city.
With low instructions to her Gopher she carefully dismounted from the wagon and walked inside.
The air within the poorly drafted structure was dank and heavy with a plume of smoke the wood floor covered in spilled drinks and vomit along with other bodily fluids that shall forever go unnamed, it was dark as thick bodies crowded over the few lights provided warn cards in their hands and broken chips laying before them piles of pesos surrounding the melting candles with the varying mugs of ale and bottles of brew. The lieutenant nearly turned to leave as the overwhelming sense of nausea washed over her as a grizzled man blew his cigar smoke in her direction. She swallowed it down and continued in further until she could have a private word with the bartender.
Lowering her voice to a dangerous gravel she leaned in and spoke. "I'm looking for one Alexander Ramone. Where is he living?"
"Why should I tell a woman coming into a bar? Lady why don't you go see the local authorities and maybe they can help you." He sneered.
She reached across and grabbed his loose shirt and pulled him into her face. "Where. Is. He?" A long blade knife pressed into his sooty and whiskered neck, sanguine pearls beading down the engraved metal.
With a shiver the man answered and begged for his life as he was not only surprised by her strength but the passion held in her electric hazel eyes.
Tossing him back she thanked him then departed.
Struggling back into the wagon she grabbed the reins and guided them from the town and past the dry hills. "Don't stop for anything or anyone. Go to the house of Tatiana and tell her of my predicament. I'm going to attempt to get some sleep. " Yelena ordered as she climbed into the back and adjusted the sacks of clothing she'd brought and pulled a burlap tarp over her.
As the dark dotted blanket of night covered the heavens the group of Diamonds took their seats at the long dark cherry table and awaited the silver trays with sustenance to be served to them.
Yelena sat scowling across from Mia whose spark was snuffed in the presence of another kindred spirit.
"Tell me, Whitney; is it common around your household that servants sit with us?" Yelena asked sharply resting her chin atop her silk gloves and directing her stare from the muted girl to her sister at the high point of the table.
"Mia isn't a servant. She owes Alexandria five pounds worth in dresses and shoes. Rather than jailing her she's working off her debt. But I do wish she was a servant, her work ethic is nearly as fierce as your own. Why I wouldn't be surprised if you and she were related. " Whitney said with a pointed smirk directed towards the younger.
Yelena grunted and looked away from the villain that shared her blood and let her hazel gaze linger on the teenager across from her.
Dinner was served by the Diamonds personal servants and Ellen nearly spilled soup on her mistress. "Pay attention to what you're doing you fool." Yelena growled, yanking the ear of the blonde before her mouth. "I want you to send someone to the residence. Make it discreet and make it disappear. Understood?"
A brief nod came from Ellen as she scurried back into the kitchen.
Dinner dragged on with the crawl of death when desert was served Whitney sat another nail furiously into the coffin of her sister as identically Mia and Yelena shied from the bowls of peach cobbler and cream. Whitney gleamed in the cold chandelier light as the annoyed glare of hazel rested continuously upon her for the rest of the evening.
As late hours approached and the lot of Diamonds slept and silver starlight filtered through the large bay windows and danced along the glistening walls. A shadow crept along the moonlit hallways towards the room of a certain girl with nothing but their masters orders upon their mind not the severe cost of their actions.
The large door to Alexandria's room creaked upon the old hinges and the lady as to who the room had been designed stirred slightly at the echoing sound. They stilled a moment as she muttered and rolled over before slipping back into her dark cocoon. Silent steps were taken towards the slumbering girl with golden hair who slept with a troubled face.
Taking a bottle from within their overcoat the person shrouded in black poured the liquid with a sugary scent into a worn cloth but halted when they saw the blank blue eyes of Sophie staring through them. Sophie muttered something illegible and walked out the door leaving the culprit to continue with their crime.
Taking their cue they placed the cloth over Mia's mouth, her eyes flying wide as the chemical invaded her senses. Not to be taken for easy prey she flailed and knocked over a vase sending the crash and shards of porcelain flying as she struggled for freedom.
Alexandria sat up in bed her night mask haphazard as she struggled to see what was going on through sleepy haze. The scream that erupted from her was almost cataclysmic in the sheer volume.
The figure ran off but didn't fail to take a half drugged Mia with them.

Perhaps earth isn't as bad as it seems (Steven universe)

Stars glittered in the cosmos beyond and cyan eyes stared out longingly into the burning orbs wishing to be back around them with her kind. She sighed and turned away from the crisp night to return back into the apartment she'd been staying in.
"Blue, how are you feeling? Are they any closer? Do you need any-" A man with jet hair rambled on anxiously quickly supporting Blue despite her still standing strong on her own.
"I'm just fine Johnathan and they're taking their time but I have no doubt they'll be here before the holiday is over. And what I need is for you to stop worrying so much about me. I'm a Diamond not a piece of micah." Blue chuckled softly kissing his cheek her hand guiding his to rest upon her bulging middle to calm him with the movement of the unborn child, hiding the grimace of pain behind a patient smile as his eyes sparkled with the wonder with every new sensation given to him.
Through out the the day Blue Diamond continued walking in order to induce labor but as time wore into the evening she herself began to doubt that the growing life within her would be born this day or even the day after.
Relaxing into the futon which John had insisted she have to herself until the baby was born, granted Blue was against this but humored her human.
Softly stroking the taut flesh Blue began to sing, the croon a soothing lullaby to anyone who happened to become woven into the enchantment. "Moon river, wider than wild, I'm crossing you in style one day. You dream maker, you heart breaker. Where ever you're going I'm going your way. Two drifters off to see the world, there's such a lot of world to see. We're after the same rainbow's end, I'm waiting round the bend, my huckleberry friend, moon river and me."
Blue could feel the tiny hand pressing through her flesh and reaching for her own. "I'd hold your hand love if you would just come here. Then your daddy and me will hold your hands and never let you go." Blue chuckled wincing as a spasm gripped her lower back, liquid dampening her thighs. With a sharp inhale the Diamond shifted and called for her husband as what was feared would never come, came faster than anticipated.
Outside the bedroom threshold stood an apprehensive Blue Pearl and Zircon.
"She'll be alright won't she? I mean she's a Diamond but this- she'll be fine won't she Pearl?"
Pearl didn't respond to Zircon as the wails of her owner grew to a feverish peak and if one listened closely they could hear her pleas towards the unborn one to be born and relieve this torment from her.
Then the noise broke and all was silent as the hour of midnight struck on that Christmas eve.
Both blue gems pressed their heads to the door but couldn't clearly make out a sound other than a blubbering Johnathan.
They startled away from the space when he burst through, laughing tearfully and cradling something within his arms. Pearl paid no mind to this and slipped into the room to check on her Diamond. Zircon however seemed far more interested in the thing Johnathan cradled which was now making noises.
Swallowing the indigo gem asked. "So is that- what I mean is that the, you know small human that My Diamond was carrying within her?"
"Yes, oh yes. And now our perfect little girl is here and Blue I don't know what she did but somehow she and Sophie separated and- it was amazing! And now I have the two of my beautiful girls." Johnathan poured moving back a piece of fluffy midnight clouds from the baby's face. Zircon stared at the fleshy being which resembled her leader and then the worry seeped in.
Blue Pearl and Zircon stood warily at the side of Blue Diamond who teetered on the verge of oblivion.
A series of wails caused her to jolt and straighten, reaching for the bundle within Jonathan's arms. "Let me see her dear."
The baby was passed into the waiting limbs of her mother who closed her in comforting warmth. "This my gems is Sophie Elizabeth Blue Diamond Carmichael. My most precious treasure." Blue's hand brushed the whisps of ebony from the small face and placed a kiss upon Sophie's brow, the wails dying away as slumber overwhelmed Sophie then Blue.
Not long after Sophie had been born Johnathan left for a photoshoot a few hours away and promised to return within a few days, Blue reassured him that she and Sophie would be fine after all she had Pearl and Zircon to help her. He left with unease not that Blue couldn't care for Sophie but that didn't mean he was assured that they would be alright in his absence.
When he returned in three days the opening door wreathed him in screams and frantic shushes.
"Blue wh-what happened? And why on earth is Sophie bawling like that? Is she alright." He asked frantically, covering his ears to muffle the sound.
"I don't know! She's been like this for the past day! Her head is hot and she's been expelling anything I try to feed her, oh, Johnathan I don't know what's wrong with her and I know she's just miserable and Diamonds never get sick and I just- oh Johnathan what do I do?" Blue had bags beneath her eyes and her physical form looked tense as if holding this shape shifted form was more than what she could handle.
"Blue calm down and- where's Pearl and Zircon? Aaaa-CHOOO!" Johnathan sniffled as he grew closer to his wife and daughter the overwhelming weight of a headache pounding his skull and sandpaper raking his throat.
"They're on the couch in no better state than Sophie. It seems she's inherited my kinesis. As long as they stay away they aren't affected. I didn't think my powers would be passed onto her because she doesn't have a gem and I didn't think they would affect humans because they're gem based." Blue began to feel a pit of dread gnawing at her shapeshifted stomach.
"From what I'm feeling she's got a cold, it's nothing bad but she's too young to understand why she's hurting like this and why her body is doing weird things like making her throw up and cough and anything else she's experiencing right now. Gosh Blue you look miserable as her. I can take her for a bit, go rest." Despite Jonathan's on coming cold he insisted that Blue rest some while he took care of Sophie.
Of course like most children suffering colds it was done and over within two days time and Sophie was back to her giggling self.
Long down the line of time Sophie had begun changing and growing up, revealing her slightly sadistic side as well as the other facets that made up anyone as a human being.
"Mom. I don't want to learn that it's boring and why do I have to learn all those laws if I don't even have a gem so why would the other Diamonds let me even be seen as one of them?" Six year old Sophie whined, flopped over the counter with paper reports and lessons strewn about her.
"You have to learn it because it's an important part of your history. And the other Diamonds will accept you not just because you are my daughter or a Diamond but because you are a wonderful brilliant little girl and that's all that matters." Blue stated, kissing her daughter's forehead.
Perking up, Sophie quirked a hopeful smile. "Does that mean I don't have to learn all this stuff then?!"
"No."
The child deflated and dropped to the table muttering lowly.
